The purpose of this study was to examine the post-purchasing behavior focusing on dissatisfaction and complaint behavior. There were some studies concerning dissatisfaction in on-line shopping related to satisfaction and intention to re-buying, but did not focus the relationship with complaint behavior, or identified the factors specifically related to consumer's dissatisfaction. In this study, it was examined to minimize the consumer's dissatisfaction and complaint behavior by investigating the detailed factors relating dissatisfactions and complaint behaviors after shopping apparel goods on the internet. Two hundred fifty five customers who had purchased fashion products in internet shopping had participated in this study. The data was analyzed by factor analysis, regression analysis using SPSS program. As the result, first, product, delivery, returning and price factor were extracted as factors of dissatisfaction, and as factors of complaint behavior, legal action, private action, remedial action were investigated. Second, dissatisfaction was significantly effected on complaint behavior. Specially, returning factor and price factor had effect on legal action, product, delivery factor had on private action and returning factor had affected remedial action. Third, more purchasing frequency, less dissatisfaction. Also, female had more dissatisfaction than male. Finally, more dissatisfaction and compliant behavior, less repurchasing intention. Based on these results, internet shopping fashion marketing strategies were suggested.
A portion of several previous studies has been that when a product is to be presented as a gift it entaials a greater expenditure of time and money than when the same product is to be used by the buyer. While this might suggest that gift-giving is an especially involving purchasing sitution, the research to date has not been consistent in its evidence to support this view. One reason for this inconsistency in findings may be suggested that different gift-giving situations show considerably different levels of givers' task involvement. The present study designs to gain some descreptive understanding of the clothing gift-giving, and to test the relationship between varibles related to clothing gift-giving and task involvement of clothing gift-giving through different gift-giving senarios. Data (N=463) were collected via a questionnaire from housewives living in Pusan, and were analyzed by factor analysis, t-test, and cannonical analysis. Results support that differences in task involvement of clothing gift -giving cause different consumer behaviors in relation to clothing gift-giving.
The purpose of this research Is to inquire into the aspects of consumers' perception of age and their lifestyle and to reveal the effect of variability in spending behaviors themselves. A survey was carried out regarding the consumers of the new elderly generation aged 55 and above. 561 respondents were surveyed. residing in Seoul and Metropolitan areas. Factor analysis from the exploratory reconnaissance, Cronbach's $\alpha$, K-average community and multivariate analysis, multi-recurrence and crossing analysis($\chi^2$ verified), were used for statistics analysis. In conclusion, the cognitive age only shared a marginal relationship with lifestyle, most people in their forties stood out in this part of the research. The change of the cognitive age and lifestyle of the new elderly generation is expected to be a variable in the clothing purchasing behavior in the future. As the population of the new elderly generation increases, there is a need for changing views towards the new elderly generation and there is no doubt that it is a main target within marketing trends in the elderly generation industry.

The results of this study were as follows: 1. The customers of new traditional market were segmented to 5 groups (Diffidence Group, Confidence/Information Group, Active Group, Shop/Brand Loyalty Group and Planned Purchasing Group); 2. This study investigates the factors influencing consumer's channel selection for luxury fashion items, specifically the effect of (i) perceived luxury benefits, (ii) perceived online shopping risks, (iii) demographics, and (iv) purchasing behavior. A survey questionnaire was developed and implemented to measure the perceived luxury benefits, perceived online shopping risks, purchasing behaviors, and consumer demographics. A total of 396 responses were analyzed by one-way ANOVA, cross-tab, and multinomial logit analysis with SPSS18.0. The results are as follows. First, those who shop in offline shopping channels tend to be heavy buyers that look for product quality and conspicuousness. They perceive low risks from online shopping and purchase few bag items offline. Second, those who shop online tend to be men and perceive the high benefits of economic value. Third, those who shop in multi channels tend to be men, search for information via the Internet, and purchase few accessory items. Implications for multichannel strategies are suggested.
Impulsive buying behavior is an important aspect of consumer behavior and is of significant interest to researchers and retail management alike. It is a familiar from of in-apparel store behavior because of its social-psychological characteristics. The objectives of this study were to find out the variable(5) influencing impulsive and non-impulsive buying behavior, as well as to investigate the causal relationships between variables related to impulsive buying behaviors in boutiques. A questionnaire was completed by 345 boutiques customers in Busan, Korea. Demographics showed that consumers were more educated and had higher incomes than average consumers in Korea. Data was analysed by discriminant analysis and path analysis. Results showed that "Clothing involvement" was the most influencing variable determined impulsive buying behavior. "Self-monitoring" proved negatively influencing on impulsive buying behavior in boutiques. Consumers with low interest in apparel reacted positively to the in-store purchasing situation, and did negatively to their affective factors. The purpose of this study was to prove how sociocultural perspective of obesity, differences in consumers' perception of body and attitudes of accepting obesity affected individuals' clothing behaviors through cross-cultural studies. The data collected were composed of 612 Korean and US consumers in the 20's and 30's that had experiences in purchasing plus-size products. The results were as follows. First, BMI index was lower in Korean consumers than the US consumers, but Korean consumers received more stress from being overweight compared to the US consumers, and had a more negative attitude about their body. Second, although Korean consumers had lower BMI index and degrees of obesity than US consumers, they were severely stressed by obesity and were found to have a higher level of dissatisfaction with their bodies. Third, Korean consumers responded more sensitively to obesity and had a tendency to display a more negative attitude regarding obesity, and a more passive dependence on clothing. Forth, differences in the body shape were reflected even in wearing evaluation, and US consumers showed a more positive attitude toward evaluations of size suitability and fitness. Fifth, the plus-size market for Korean consumers was still not active, and most products purchased were generic brands obtained from online shopping malls through the Internet. However, in the case of the US, in which the ratio of obese people is high and the plus-size market is growing, consumers were purchasing plus-size brands through various distribution online and offline channels. Sixth, Korean consumers were less satisfied than US consumers with shops, sizes and fitness; however, they were more satisfied with design factors. Finally, it is expected that this study can offer practical implications for marketers and product developers running plus-size market for young obese consumers in their 20 and 30s.

Consumers' price related response in the clothing purchase decision-making process includes their expectation of price, price perception, attitude toward price and consequent behaviors. The purposes of this research are to systematically organize consumers' price related responses in the clothing purchase decision-making process, and to explain the effect of price on their purchasing. The qualitative research including shopping observation and in-depth interview was conducted. The result identified stages that showed different price related responses in clothing purchase decision-making process, and clarified each stage's characteristics. In the internal search stage, consumers recalled price information from memory and had a specific expectation about the price. This set a direction for the external search. In the external search stage, consumers selected brands or stores by a non-compensatory evaluating with an expectation of the price, and narrowed these down to several determinant alternatives by actively evaluating the products. In case a sufficient amount of price information was not recalled, the consumer established reference price through the external search. Finally, in the purchasing stage, consumers evaluated the determinant alternatives based on their compensatory evaluation. When perception of price was negative, consumers evaluate price combined with the higher criteria of clothing benefits, such as symbolic value and usability. The research is expected to contribute to predicting consumers' responses to price, and to establishing an effective pricing strategy.
