Recently, researches on automatic recognition of human activities have been actively carried out with the emergence of various intelligent systems. Since a large amount of visual data can be secured through Closed Circuit Television, it is required to recognize human behavior in a dynamic situation rather than a static situation. In this paper, we propose new intelligent human activity recognition model using the trajectory information extracted from the video sequence. The proposed model consists of three steps: segmentation and partitioning of trajectory step, feature extraction step, and behavioral learning step. First, the entire trajectory is fuzzy partitioned according to the motion characteristics, and then temporal features and spatial features are extracted. Using the extracted features, four pedestrian behaviors were modeled by decision tree learning algorithm and performance evaluation was performed. The experiments in this paper were conducted using Caviar data sets. Experimental results show that trajectory provides good activity recognition accuracy by extracting instantaneous property and distinctive regional property.

현재 정부기관이나 은행 등과 같이 침입 탐지의 보안 서비스를 필요로 하는 곳에서는 주로 CCTV(Closed Circuit TV)와 DVR(Digital Video Recording)과 같은 보안 장비들이 사용되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 장비들은 고가이므로 일반 가정이나 소규모 사업장에 이를 도입하는 것은 어렵다. 이에 본 논문에서는 CCTV나 DVR과 같은 고가의 보안 장비를 저렴하게 대체할 수 있는 인터넷 카메라를 이용한 침입탐지 시스템인 IDS(Intrusion Detection System)를 설계 및 구현하였다. IDS는 침입 탐지 보안 시스템이 기본적으로 갖춰야 하는 모니터링, 녹화, 재생. 침입 탐지 등의 기능을 제공할 뿐만 아니라 인터넷을 이용하므로 거리상의 제약점을 극복하였으며, TCP/IP를 이용한 인터넷 카메라를 사용하여 CCTV나 DVR보다 매우 저렴하게 설치 가능하다.

폐쇄회로 텔레비전(CCTV, Closed Circuit Television)은 범죄 예방을 위해서 현재 많이 사용되고 있다. 하지만, CCTV의 경우 주로 영상에 기반하기 때문에 사각지대가 존재할 수 있으며 범죄 발생시 즉각적인 대처보다는 후속 조치에 주로 활용된다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해 비명을 탐지할 수 있는 치안 향상을 위한 비명 감지 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 제안하는 시스템은 비명을 감지하면 경보음을 제공해주며, 중앙 시스템에 알림을 주어 관리자가 확인하고 즉각적인 대응이 가능할 수 있도록 할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다.

A new closed-form expressions to calculate frequency-dependent distributed inductance and the associated distributed series resistance of single interconnect on a lossy silicon substrate (CMOS technology) are presented. The proposed analytic model for series impedance is based on a self-consistent field method and the vector magnetic potential equation. It is shown that the calculated frequency-dependent distributed inductance and the associated resistance are in good agreement with the results obtained from rigorous full wave solutions and CAD-oriented equivalent-circuit modeling approach.

Based on a provided closed-form wireless power transmission (WPT) efficiency formula, which may be used for any value of load, we have analyzed the WPT efficiencies between two metamaterial-inspired loop antennas in various aspects. Due to the modeling based on low frequency circuit theory, the provided formula at the center resonant frequency has been found to be accurate until when the distance between the two loop antennas increases to 15 cm (about $\lambda_0/6$ at 300 MHz). When the two loops get closer, the resonant frequency has been found to split into two in theory, simulations, and measurements. The EM-simulated and measured efficiencies at new resonant frequencies are 60.9 % and 46.3 %, respectively, at d=15 cm. With two extra rings around the loops, the maximum efficiency is enhanced to 93.7 % at d=15 cm. The effect of the additional two rings is about 30 %.

Capacitor-run single induction motors have the unbalanced elliptic rotating magnetic field so that it is difficult to analyze the characteristic and calculate the accurate slot leakage reactance of the rotor with the closed slot by using the lumped parameter. In this paper, the characteristic is analyzed by the symmetrical coordinate method in terms of the lumped parameter coupled with the numerical analysis. The secondary parameters are calculated by the one slot pitch boundary condition applying to Finite Element Method (FEM). The analysis results are compared with experimental ones.

주로 방범용으로 사용하는 폐쇄회로 TV(CCTV : Closed Circuit Television)는 범죄 발생 시 범인검거와 증거 확보에 유용하게 사용된다. 하지만 CCTV는 지형지물로 인해 영상 확보가 어려운 영역, 즉 사각지대가 존재하는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 해결하기 위해 증강현실(AR : Augmented Reality)을 이용하여 CCTV 카메라의 방향을 주기적으로 변경한다. 변경된 카메라의 방향에서 확보한 영상으로, 기존 CCTV와 달리 보다 넓은 반경의 영상을 확보하여, 모니터링할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

This paper describes the design and the analysis of electromagnetic system of Magnetic Switch using 2D parametric finite element method(EM-Pulse). Magnetic Switch is electrical equipment, which is widely used for switching on/off motors in industrial field. The transient state is simulated in order to calculate the response time of Magnetic Switch. The simulation is based upon a step-by-step integration of the electric circuit equations and the core movement. The contactor uses a permanent magnet for maintaining the closed state. The presented solution takes account of non-linear magnetic material property and spring force controlled by core position. The dynamic response of Magnetic Switch predicted by the simulation agrees closely with the required condition.

A k-out-of-n system with n identical and independent components is considered in which the components takes two types of function: 0 (open-circuit) or 1 (closed) on command (e.g. electromagnetic relays and solid state switches). Components are subject to two types of failure on command: failure to close or failure to open. In our k-out-of-n system, failure of (n-k)＋1 or more components to close causes to the close failure of the system, or failure of k or more components to open causes the open failure of the system. The long-run average cost rate is obtained. We find the optimal k minimizing the long run average cost rate for given n. A numerical example is presented.
