실시간 운영체제를 탑재한 원격 제어 로봇 시스템 (Remote Controlled Robot System using Real-Time Operating System)

  • This paper presents a robot system that combines computer network and an autonomous mobile robot where RTOS is installed. We propose a wireless communication protocol, and also implement it on the RTOS of the robot system. Main controller of the robot processes the control program as a task type in the real-time operating system. Peripheral devices are driven by the device driver functions with the dependency of the hardware. Because the client and server program was implemented to support the multi-platforms by Java SDK and Java JMF, it is easy to analyze programs, maintain system, and correct the errors in the system. End-user can control a robot with a vision showing remote sight over the Internet in real time, and the robot is moved keeping away from the obstacles by itself and command of the server received from end-user at the local client.

  • SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)은 2000년 11월 이동통신 표준화기구인 3GPP에서 IMS 플랫폼을 위한 기본 전송 프로토콜로 채택되면서 음성통신의 표준을 넘어 유무선 인터넷을 포괄하는 범용 멀티미디어 전송 표준으로 자리매김하였다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 사용자가 기업 및 기관의 홈페이지에 부착된 링크를 클릭하여 기업이나 기관에 설치된 VoIP 게이트웨이를 통해 기업내 상담원과 PC 대 전화기 형태로 통화할 수 있는 SIP 기반 소프트폰 클라이언트 프로그램을 설계하고 개발한다. PC 대 전화기 방식의 소프트폰 클라이언트는 기업 및 기관에 설치된 다양한 종류의 VoIP 게이트웨이들과 호환되어야 하며 서로 다른 PC 환경에서도 원활하게 작동될 수 있도록 높은 이식성이 보장되어야 한다. 이를 위해 VoIP 프로토콜로써 SIP 2.0 표준을 사용하였으며 이식성을 보장하기 위해 자바 가상머신에서 수행되는 JAIN SIP과 JMF 패키지를 이용하여 개발하였다.

Java를 이용한 웹 기반 원격 감시제어시스템 개발 (A Development of Web-based Remote monitoring and control system using Java)

  • 본 논문은 Java 기술을 이용하여 TCP/IP 상에서 웹 기반의 원격 감시제어시스템 개발에 대한 예를 제시하였다. Java의 Socket 클래스를 이용한 클라이언트/서버 소켓 프로그램을 구현하였고 이를 레고 블록으로 만든 온실 모델에 적용하여 웹 기반 온실 감시제어시스템을 구축하였다. 구축된 웹 기반 온실 감시제어시스템은 온실의 정보를 클라이언트 프로그램에 잘 전달하여 표시하며 웹 상에서 동작하는 Java Applet 클라이언트에서 보내는 제어 신호를 서버를 통해 온실 모델에 잘 전달하여 동작시키는 것을 볼 수 있었다.

  • An automatic measurement system which collects experimental data at an unmanned station where the networking to the internet could not be accessed was developed. With a Robo-rail accessing to the unmanned station, wireless local networking between server PC at the Rob-rail and client PC at the unmanned station is possible within 30 m from an access point equipment located at the unmanned station. An algorithm for transferring the data file which is saved in the client PC at the unmanned station to the server PC in the Robo-rail was proposed. IEEE-1394 camera was used to collect the data at the client PC. An extracting program from the IEEE-1394 captured images to character data and number data was developed using image processing technique, which drastically reduces the size of data file comparing to that of the raw image file.

  • In this paper, we developed a more efficient system for the remote control and monitoring of a wheeled mobile robot using internet without spatial limitation. The hardware configuration of the remote control system for a wheeled mobile robot includes a client PC executed on the remote site, a embedded web-server and a mobile robot with many measuring equipments. The communication between a client PC and a embedded web-server is implemented through internet. And the Bluetooth module is used for connecting a embedded web-server and a mobile robot. A GUI program has been developed by using JavaScript in order to easily control a mobile robot on a client PC.

  • Today, Web Services is very well-known as a middle-ware that can inter-communicate between many different program languages. This paper test web services by implementing two different web services platforms which are MS .NET based server and Apache AXIS based client. Those platforms have different data structure/process, and they could not give the developer seamless data compatibility through web services. However we confirmed that handling data, by some data transforming rules, web services can successfully inter-communicate between MS .NET based server and Apache AXIS based client.

사회복지서비스 기관의 조직성과에 관한 연구 : 서울시 지역사회복지관의 질 산출(quality output)을 중심으로 (A Study on the Performance of the Human Service Organizations : An Analysis from the Perspective of Quality of Output)

  • This study examines the organizational performance of human service organizations from the quality output perspective. Using the 2001 evaluation data about 89 community welfare centers in Seoul, this study attempts to identify the levels of the performance of human service organizations in Korea. This study also attempts to identify the factors that predict performance of human service organizations measured in terms of client satisfaction and experts' evaluation about the functioning of each center. Results are as follows: (1) when pooling 866 clients' satisfaction level into satisfaction score about each center, the average of client satisfaction about the centers is 3.42 at 4 points scale. (2) 41.6% of the community welfare centers is evaluated as "highly qualified" in its overall operation and functioning by the professional evaluation team, (3) the employee reward system(+), practice based on the program guideline manual(+), the portion of the government support grant in its budget(-), the overall employee salary level(-), the level of acquirement of program grants from external sources (-) are the predictors in explaining clients' satisfaction level, and (4) the level of professional expertise of the executive director(+), the level of professional supervision of middle managers(+), the employee reward system(+), the program need assessment(+), the level of client information system(+), the portion of government support grant(-), the overall employee salary level(-) are the predictors for "being highly qualified" in its overall operation and function of each center. Through the empirical analysis, this study provides valuable knowledge about organizational performance of community welfare centers from the quality output perspective. Finally, this study discusses implications for more effective and efficient organizational performance of community welfare centers in Korea.

클라이언트 중심 가정방문 일상생활훈련이 인지지원등급, 노인의 인지기능, 작업수행, 일상생활수행도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Instrument-Activities Daily Living Training through Client-Centered Home Visitation on Cognitive Functions, Occupational Performance, and Instrument-Activities Daily Living among Elderly at the Cognitive Support Grade)

  • Purpose : This study aims to investigate the effect of instrument-activities daily living training through client-centered home visitation on the cognitive functions, occupational performance, and instrument-activities daily living of elderly at the cognitive support grade(Grade6). Methods : The subject of this study was a 66-year-old woman living in G Metropolitan City, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and mild dementia. The study period was from March 17, 2020 through June 12, 2020, and the A-B-A' design, among the individual case experiments, was adopted as the study design. For the data analysis, descriptive statistic and visual analysis using graph were used for the change of cognitive functions, occupational performance, and instrument-activities daily living. Results : The instrument-activities daily living provided through client-centered home visitation improved the subject's cognitive functions, occupational performance(performance, satisfaction) and instrument-activities daily living. Conclusion : This study showed that daily life training through client-centered home visitation can help elderly people at the cognitive support grade select for themselves the problems of daily life caused by cognitive decline and practice specific action plans, thereby enabling them to maintain and improve the cognitive functions necessary for the performance of activities, such as comprehension, memory, and thinking skills. In addition, it is thought that the activities based on the subject's preferences, performance, and sense of importance assured the subject of feelings of motivation and the possibility of participation, and had a positive effect on the subject's performance speed and rate. With the above in mind, Instrument-activities daily living client-centered home visitation is proposed as a potential practical intervention program for individuals. It can help elderly people at cognitive support grade to maintain and improve their functions, thereby delaying the progress of their condition to severe dementia.

기관절개관을 보유하고 있는 가정간호대상자를 위한 기관절개관 자가관리 프로그램 개발 및 평가: Caregiver를 중심으로 (Development and Evaluation of a Self-Management Program for Tracheostomy Tube Management for Homecare Client: Focus on Caregivers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this research was to develop and train caregivers in tracheostomy tube care using a self-management program to assist patients with an 'at home' tracheostomy procedure. Caregivers' self-efficacy and knowledge of tracheostomy management before and after the training was also identified. Methods: Research participants were the main caregivers for patients with tracheostomies who were affiliated with a 'Home Healthcare Center'. Training and observation were done at 'A Hospital' and 'G Hospital' both affiliated with 'K University' in Seoul. Data were collected from May 3, 2010 to January 25, 2011 and analyzed using Wilcoxon signed rank test with SPSS program version 12.0. Results: Significant differences were found for the pre and post evaluation of the 'self-management program' for the implementation of tracheostomy care. The development and implementation of the 'self-management program' improved the main caregivers' knowledge of tracheostomy tube management (Z=-3.599, p<.001). Conclusion: Results show that this program has identified an effective nursing intervention for promoting the caregivers' knowledge of tracheostomy care and self-efficacy. We recommend that further research should be done to test primary caregivers' maintenance of knowledge and self-efficacy in tracheostomy tube management and identify factors affecting knowledge and self-efficacy in the care of these patients.

The Effectiveness of a Cultural Competence Training Program for Public Health Nurses using Intervention Mapping

  • Purpose: This study evaluated the effects of a cultural competence training program for public health nurses (PHNs) using intervention mapping. Methods: An embedded mixed method design was used. Forty-one PHNs (experimental: 21, control: 20) and forty marriage migrant women (MMW) (20, in each group) who were provided nursing care by PHN participated in the study. The experimental group was provided with a four-week cultural competence program consisting of an eight hour offline and online course, e-mail newsletters and social networking services (BAND). Transcultural Self-efficacy (TSE) of the PHNs, client-nurse trust, and satisfaction with nursing care of MMW were measured. Ten PHNs in the experimental group were interviewed after the experimental study. Results: The experimental group showed a significantly greater improvement in TSE, client-nurse trust, and satisfaction with nursing care than did the control group. Six themes emerged from qualitative data: (a) Recognizing cultural differences, (b) Being interested in the multicultural policy, (c) Trying to communicate in MMW's own language, (d) Providing medical information using internet and smart phone, (e) Embracing culturally diverse people into society, and (f) Requiring ongoing cultural competence training. Conclusion: Cultural competence training enabled PHNs to provide culturally competent care and contribute to MMW's health outcomes.
