The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual condition of the plan of middle schools in the rural area. Recently, many middle schools are remodeling the buildings and facilities based on the department system. This study, through analyzing on 3 remodeling cases of middle school in the rural area. This article discuses about the basic characteristics of the plan composition and the education programs of 3 middle schools. This study is showing the variation before and after remodeling and space organization types. The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1) Most of them take horizontal zoning system in the department classrooms. 2) Consideration is given to the space of homebas. 3) In the short term, if there is not enough classroom space utilization ratio should be adjusted in the classroom.

The purposes of this paper are to show that learning English via on-line English newspapers is very effective and to suggest several applications of an English newspaper on the web in English education to improve Korean speakers' English proficiency. Firstly, this paper overviews about Newspapers In Education (NIE). Secondly, a comparison between an on-line English newspaper and a traditional one is made, focusing on their advantages and characteristics. Thirdly, some ways to use various articles of a digital English newspaper in classroom instruction are explored. Lastly, the suggestions of this study are integrated into English learning instruction of an extracurricular English learning club of Business English Department. This club includes free utilization of an Internet surfing center, Internet Cafe, in a College Library. And then, a survey among the club members is conducted and its statistical results are analyzed.

Our society is changing into the society of knowledge and information since the advent of 21st century. This may require that schooling need to have a new paradigm. Korea has already entered into the aging society with the help of various population control policies such as birth control from 1960s, and is expecting to go into the so called ultra- aging society. Elementary and middle schools have been facing the rapid decrease in the number of students since the mid-1980s, which high schools are now confronting with. The present study investigates how to effectively utilize extra classrooms at schools. The present study offers eight basic directions that may help establish the utilization planning of extra classrooms. One direction is offering an appropriate space utilization environment, another is to present a plan for having special classrooms. Others are having multi-purpose classrooms, management on the unified rooms for library and audio-visual teaching, securing facilities rooms for the school staff. And others are the planning of the diversion of living space for improving sanitation and the provision of meals, the necessity of the extension or rebuilding of school buildings for other uses according to school development schemes, the utilization planning for community residents to which each school belong.

본 연구의 목적은 교양 ICT활용 과정의 서술형 강의 평가에 대해 텍스트 마이닝의 토픽모델링 분석을 실시하여 수강생의 강의 선택 요인과 강의에 대한 긍정적·부정적 요소 파악을 하고자 하는데 있다. 이를 위해 M 대학교의 2019년 2학기에 개설된 ICT활용 과정 강의에 대해 '강의를 신청한 이유', '강의에서 개선되어야 할 점'과 '강의에서 좋았던 점'에 대한 데이터 전처리부터 키워드 빈도 분석, 워드 클라우드 시각화 및 토픽 모델링 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 M 대학의 2019년 2학기 ICT활용 과정은 자격증 취득을 위해 강의를 신청하며, 동시에 자격증을 취득할 수 있어 강의가 좋았다는 긍정적 분석을 알 수 있다. 부정적 요소로 강의실 사용 환경 불편에 대한 것을 알 수 있다.

최근 한국의 교육인구가 급격히 감소함에 따라 대학 환경에 많은 변화가 일어나고 있다. 특히 지역사회에 연계한 전문대학의 경우 다양한 교육의 변화, 즉 기존의 일률적인 2년제 학제에서 3년제로의 학제전환, 일학습병행제를 통한 근로자 학위 수여, 산업체 근로자 야간 위탁교육 등의 실시를 통해 위기에 대응하고 있다. 하지만 이러한 교육대상 및 내용의 변화는 한정된 강의실을 적절히 전공과목에 배정해야 하는 새로운 형태의 강의실 배정문제를 일으키고 있다. 본 논문에서는 강의실 배정을 위해 준수해야 하는 제약을 반드시 준수해야 하는 절대 제약과 가능한 준수 해야 하는 상대제약으로 구분하고, 이를 수리적으로 모델링 하여 최적화 소프트웨어를 통해 최적의 강의실 배정을 하였다. 절대제약에는 한 강의실에 2개 교반 이상 배정이 되면 안 되는 등과 같은 물리적인 제약들이며, 상대제약은 교수의 편의성을 고려한 강의 시수 배정 등과 같은 논리적인 제약이다. 결과는 만족스러웠으며 기존의 사람을 통한 강의실 배정보다 여러 가지 지표면에서(강의실 활용률과 교수 만족도) 월등한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

최근 다양한 센서를 내장한 스마트폰의 발달로 인해 웨어러블 기기를 사용한 동작 인식 연구가 늘어나는 추세이다. 기존의 동작 인식 연구는 사용자 개인의 동작 인식에만 국한되어 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 인간의 집단 개념동작을 인식하는 기법을 제안한다. 인식에 앞서 장소 별 집단 동작의 특징을 분석하여 데이터를 생성한다. 강의실 환경에서의 집단 개념동작을 중점적으로 수업하기, 발표하기, 회의하기로 세 가지 동작을 연구한다. 본 연구에서 제안한 알고리즘을 적용하여 96% 이상의 높은 인식률을 도출하였다. 실시간으로 활용한다면 자동적으로 강의실의 사용률 및 사용 목적을 쉽게 분석할 수 있다. 나아가 분석된 데이터를 통해 장소 활용도를 높일 수 있다. 향후 다른 장소에 대한 집단 동작 인식을 연구하여 집단 동작 인식 시스템을 개발할 것이다.

This study is on the architectural planning and factors for secondary schools. The methods in the approach to the results were settled. A sample of factors that affect architectural scale design were drawn from architectural design direction for a secondary school architectural scale estimation direction. These factors arc broken into primary elements and situational elements. Primary elements include students, teachers, and time. Situational elements include public use percentage, classroom percentage, unit area, coefficient of utilization, etc. The 7 architectural planning criteria to cover changes of various architectural scale design elements are the following; 1) consideration of students selection percentage, 2) consideration of the number of teachers, 3) a variety of possible classrooms, 4) organic operation, 5) efficient time management, 6) consideration of different teaching method depending on subjects, 7) coefficient of utilization with flexibility.

대학교 학생 중 다수의 학생들이 시험기간 및 개인, 조별 과제 등의 공부를 할 때 학교 내에 도서관, 휴게실을 제외한 스터디 공간 부족으로 인하여 공부 시 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문은 스마트폰을 이용하여 빈 강의실을 예약하고 사용하여 학습 공간 부족 문제를 개선시킬 수 있는 어플리케이션을 제안한다. 제안하는 모바일 앱은 서버와 클라이언트 간의 통신을 이용하여 클라이언트에 강의실 정보를 제공하고 예약이 가능하도록 한다. 이를 통해 학교 시설물 이용을 활성화 시키고 학생들의 편의성을 증대하도록 한다.

According to the decrease in birth rate and reduction of population in rural area, primary schools have brought about many problems for decrease of number of student, and environment of education have became deteriorated. Accordingly, primary schools be required improvement, and it should be altered placement of schools because it change number of student, distance and time of attending school, and formation of school zone are changed by alternating of human and physical environment. Merger and abolition of primary school is inevitable for change of placement standard to primary school and qualitative improvement of environment of education in rural area. This study suggests the effective space planning methods for unified school and appropriate utilization alternatives for closed school following after the merger and abolition of small rural schools. In doing so, it explores the present models of merger and abolition through analysis of all sort of actual condition and the possibilities for various utilizations of the abolished schools. It proposes a classroom-operation type fused the comprehensive class and departmental class system for merged primary schools in rural area. It also suggests the re-use methods of closed school facilities for students and community. Finally, it emphasizes that in order to success the policy of the merger and abolition of small schools, it be attributed to the social-cultural environment based on local residents and community and required provision of a variety of utilization plans reflecting local specifics and guarantee of local residents' participation and selection.

A decrease in population in a rural region have raised a problem that small-scale schools got to be a branch school or abolished. Consequently, a function as a leading role in a community also have declined. Also residential districts of the outer of cities' development have increased for the change of residential environment consciousness. According to peoples who live in CBD move to residential districts of the outer of cities have been become devoid of substance. For this reason, the number of students in urban primary schools has declined more and more, and a number of unused classrooms came out, automatically. This study is to survey the utilization of unused classrooms in urban and rural primary schools in order to proffer basic data to new improvement methods of school facilities planning and to contribute a effect that induce parents of students and residents to use the facilities actively.
