The requirement elicitation is the task of eliciting requirements from needs of stakeholders, and preparing for information for negotiation. However, there are methods for gathering needs, but there is no specific method for classifying them, generating information for negotiation. Therefore, To solve the problems, this paper proposes a method to classify requirement and to generate information for negotiation. The proposed methods use Kano model, statistical technique, and identifying relationship between requirements and problems within scope. Finally, we validate the proposed method on simulations, Rough Set Theory, and case study of model.

In this paper, we propose the methodology based on data-driven approach using Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning for classifying requirements into functional requirements and non-functional requirements. Through the analysis of the results of the requirements classification, we have learned that the trained models derived from requirements classification with data-preprocessing and classification algorithm based on the characteristics and information of existing requirements that used term weights based on TF and IDF outperformed the results that used stemming and stop words to classify the requirements into functional and non-functional requirements. This observation also shows that the term weight calculated without removal of the stemming and stop words influenced the results positively. Furthermore, we investigate an optimized method for the study of classifying software requirements into functional and non-functional requirements.
Objective: The aim of this study is to make the taxonomy for classifying diverse touchless gestures and establish the design requirements that should be considered in determining suitable gestures during gesture-based interaction design. Background: Recently, the applicability of touchless gestures is more and more increasing as relevant technologies are being advanced. However, before touchless gestures are widely applied to various devices or systems, the understanding on human gestures' natures and their standardization should be prerequisite. Method: In this study, diverse gesture types in various literatures were collected and, based on those, a new taxonomy for classifying touchless gestures was proposed. And many gesture-based interaction design cases and studies were analyzed. Results: The proposed taxonomy consisted of two dimensions: shape (deictic, manipulative, semantic, or descriptive) and motion(static or dynamic). The case analysis based on the taxonomy showed that manipulative and dynamic gestures were widely applied. Conclusion: Four core requirements for valuable touchless gestures were intuitiveness, learnability, convenience and discriminability. Application: The gesture taxonomy can be applied to produce alternatives of applicable touchless gestures, and four design requirements can be used as the criteria for evaluating the alternatives.

There exist a number of information systems planning(ISP) methodologies. As the level of market competition gets intensified, firms are more likely to engage in organizational transformations such as BPR and CPI(continuous process improvement). Because this new requirement should be incorporated into ISP methodology, the number of ISP methodologies available will be continually increasing. However, we could not find a framework for understanding and classifying these divergent methodologies. So, we here present a framework for classifying ISP methodology classes. With this framework, we categorize different classes of ISP methodologies and identify their limitations in terms of missing elements and links. And we move on to present new technical innovations and other methodological advances that, if properly integrated with ISP methodologies, would help us derive an IT infrastructure plan more effectively. Furthermore, in search of software tools or aids supporting the application of ISP methodologies, we identify requirements of ISP-supporting software tools and evaluate functions of existing software tools, then suggesting a future direction to that end.
As the first step of risk management, risk identification is inevitable to understand the degree of work safety. However, the safety requirements can be divided in necessary factors and additional factors. Thus, we propose a safety requirements assessment model using Kano model derived from Herzberg's two-factor theory, classifying safety requirements into ideal elements and must-be elements. The Kano model is usually applied to evaluate customer satisfaction divided into three major requirements in the fields of product development and marketing: attractive, must-be, and one-dimensional requirements. Among them, attractive requirement and must-be requirement are matched with ideal element and must-be element for safety requirement classification, respectively. The ideal element is defined as preventive safety elements to make systems more safe and the must-be element is referred to as fatal elements to be essentially eliminated in systems. Also, coefficients of safety measurement and safety prevention are developed to classify different class of safety requirements. The positioning map is finally visualized in terms of both coefficients to compare the different features. Consequently, the proposed model enables safety managers to make a decision between safety measurement and prevention.
Kano model distinguishes three types of customer requirements, namely, one-dimensional quality, must-be quality, and attractive quality. There are a few methods for classifying a given customer requirement into one of the Kano's quality elements. However, the existing methods have a common limitation in that they are based on Kano evaluation table. Kano evaluation table is not always effective for the classification task, and suffers from a significant information loss. This paper proposes an alternative to Kano's evaluation table and a new classification scheme based on fuzzy set concept. The proposed method is illustrated using a case study on the ADSL service.

This paper discusses decommissioning procedure requirements management using requirement engineering to systematically manage the technical requirements and criteria that are required in decontamination and decommissioning activities, and the regulatory requirements that should be complied with in a decommissioning strategy for research reactors and nuclear power plants. A schema was designed to establish the traceability and change management related to the linkage between the regulatory requirements and technical criteria after classifying the procedures into four groups during the full life-cycle of the decommissioning. The results confirmed that the designed schema was successfully traced in accordance with the regulatory requirements and technical criteria required by various fields in terms of decontamination and decommissioning activities. In addition, the changes before and after the revision of the Nuclear Safety Act were also determined. The dismantling procedure requirement management system secured through this study is expected to be a useful tool in the integrated management of radioactive waste, as well as in the dismantling of research reactor and nuclear facilities.

As software grows continuously in scale and complexity, the role of software architecture has become increasingly important across various industries. Although software architects often rely on their experience and intuition when designing such architecture, there is a variety of methodologies being researched for architecture design. However, these methodologies do not address the specific effects of applying multiple architectural patterns to a system or the sequence in which they should be applied. In this study, we explain the variation in architectural design results depending on the order in which the same set of architectural patterns is applied to a single system. Based on this phenomenon, we identify requirements for applying architectural patterns and propose a method of classifying the patterns to be applied. We also propose a prioritization process for requirements to efficiently apply the classified patterns in a specific order. Finally, we show a case study that prioritizing requirements based on architectural pattern types is beneficial for efficient software architecture design in terms of quality attributes.
Purpose The emergence of mobile applications has simplified our life in various ways. Regarding tourism activities, mobile applications are already efficient in providing personalized tourism related information and are very much effective in booking hotels, flights, etc. However, there are very few studies on classifying the actual service requirements and improving the customer satisfaction in mobile tourism applications. The purpose of this study is to implement a practical mobile tourism application. To serve the purpose, we classify and categorize the service requirement of mobile tourism applications in Korea. We employed Kano model and analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Specifically, we conducted a focus group study to find out the service requirements in mobile tourism applications. Design/methodology/approach The data for this study were collected from Koreans and Foreigners who has the experience using mobile tourism applications. Participants needed to be familiar with mobile tourism applications because such users may be more aware of the mobile tourism applications services. We analyzed 147 valid data using Kano model and conducted AHP analysis on five experts in the field of tourism using Expert Choice software. Findings In this paper, we identified the 17 service quality requirements in the mobile tourism applications. The results reveal that the service requirement such as Geo-location map, Multilingual option, Compatibility with different operating systems were unavoidable service, absent of such requirements leads to the dissatisfaction. Based on the results of the integrated application of both Kano model and AHP analysis, this study provide specific implications for improving the service quality of the mobile tourism applications in Korea.
