  • The purpose of this study is to present the legal object in the related legislation taking the present condition of the domestic laws and the leading cases connected with ecological restoration materials and analyzing their properties according to the analytic standards which are legal class and ecological restoration material items, the present condition by the field of ecological restoration business, interrelationship between the law and the leading cases, comparison of the domestic laws with the foreign regulations. The results of this study are as follows; 1) Detailed enforcement regulation(36.5% of totals), enforcement regulation(32.4%) and law(31.1%) as legal class of the domestic legislation relating to ecological restoration materials are in the order of frequency that shows the little strong frequency at low-ranking class. By items, the number of legislation relating to planting material holds about majority, next to it, stone material, soil material and wood material are in the order of frequency. 2) By the field of ecological restoration business, legislation relating to administration forms the highest frequency(36.3% of totals), next to it, material properties(23.4%), plan design(13.0%) are in the order of frequency. 3) For the number of the leading cases by items of ecological restoration materials, those are, for the most part, them relating to planting material(93.8% of totals). The number of legislation relating to planting material forms the highest frequency at laws and the leading cases in common. 4) The domestic legislation connected with ecological restoration materials is mainly to be in legal class of the positive law, on the contrary, a foreign country has legislation widely consisted of laws, ordinances and other general regulations. Some foreign country legislated the topsoil conservation act, but not to domestic. The result of this study will be applied to legislature and court as reference materials, and to the public and public officer as a means of an understanding of ecological restoration materials.

  • Monitoring and prediction of water quality are essential for effective river pollution prevention and water quality management. In this study, a multi-classification model was developed to predict chlorophyll-a (Chl-a) level in rivers. A model was developed using CatBoost, a novel ensemble machine learning algorithm. The model was developed using hourly field monitoring data collected from January 1 to December 31, 2015. For model development, chl-a was classified into class 1 (Chl-a≤10 ㎍/L), class 2 (10<Chl-a≤50 ㎍/L), and class 3 (Chl-a>50 ㎍/L), where the number of data used for the model training were 27,192, 11,031, and 511, respectively. The macro averages of precision, recall, and F1-score for the three classes were 0.58, 0.58, and 0.58, respectively, while the weighted averages were 0.89, 0.90, and 0.89, for precision, recall, and F1-score, respectively. The model showed relatively poor performance for class 3 where the number of observations was much smaller compared to the other two classes. The imbalance of data distribution among the three classes was resolved by using the synthetic minority over-sampling technique (SMOTE) algorithm, where the number of data used for model training was evenly distributed as 26,868 for each class. The model performance was improved with the macro averages of precision, rcall, and F1-score of the three classes as 0.58, 0.70, and 0.59, respectively, while the weighted averages were 0.88, 0.84, and 0.86 after SMOTE application.

  • The purpose of this study was the acquisition of the optimum scale of the apportionment of standard & high-class bed for the maximum profit representative of the desire of customers in a General Hospital with 1,100 beds located in Seoul. This investigation was proceeded by the analysis of the result of the simulation with the survey of both the patients' needs for bed and the degree of the medical service by the grade of the ward. And finally the consequence was obtained as follows: 1. The result of the investigation of the inpatients' preference for the grade of ward classes shows that a private ward reflected 4.3 percent, a semi-private ward 1.7 percent, a three-bed ward 0.1 percent, and a ward with six beds 93.9 percent each other. 2. A questionnaire poll was paralleled of service terms of a medical doctor and a nurse by ward class, the data were used for the standard of the allotment of labor cost by the ward class. The poll shows that the service tenn of a medical doctor and a nurse based on a ward with six beds by ward class showed 1.7 times in internal medicine and 1.9 times in surgery at a private ward; 1.4 times in internal medicine and 1.7 times in surgery at a semi-private room; and 1.2 times both in internal medicine and in surgery at a three-bed ward 3. The resultant findings revealed the most profit per bed and per patient in a private ward. However, an analysis of profit with a standard of unit area by ward class represented a higher profit in both the internal medicine and the surgery semi-private ward than other ward classes. 4. The result of the analysis through simulation based on the data of the prime cost per the ward class proved the optimum scale of the distribution of beds by class as follows: sixteen beds of the internal medicine and twenty three beds of the surgery in the private ward; two hundreds and two of the internal medicine and one hundred and ninety eight of the surgery in the semi-private room; three of both the internal medicine and the surgery each other in the three-bed ward; one hundred and ninety eight of the internal medicine and two hundred and fifty two of the surgery in the ward with six beds. The result of this research exhibits that the income and expenditure of the hospital could be improved by changing parts of wards into private ones(containing the maximum profit per a unit of width) in case the scale of the number of beds is reset with the consideration of the profit per the unit width. In the near future it's strongly expected that the research for the more scientific standard of the allotment of labour cost by ward class and for definition of the optimum scale of the number of beds that actualize the maximum profit with the change of the three elements of the prime cost: cost of materials; labor costs; management expenses.

  • In Q-algorithm of EPCglobal Class-1 Gen-2 RFID system, the initial value of $Q_{fp}$, which is the slot-count parameter, is not defined in the standard. And the values of weight C, which is the parameter for incrementing or decrementing the slot-count size, are not determined. Therefore, if the number of tags is small and we let the initial $Q_{fp}$ be large, the number of empty slot will be large. On the other hand, if we let the initial $Q_{fp}$ be small in spite of many tags, almost all the slots will be collided. Also, if the reader selects an inappropriate weight, there are a lot of empty or collided slots. As a result, the performance will be declined because the frame size does not converge to the optimal point quickly during the query round. In this paper, we propose a scheme to allocate the optimal initial $Q_{fp}$ through the tag number estimation and select the weight based on the slot-count size of current query round.

  • In this paper we introduce a new class of operators which will be called the class of k-quasi-class A(s, t) operators. An operator $T{\in}B(H)$ is said to be k-quasi-class A(s, t) if $$T^{*k}(({\mid}T^*{\mid}^t{\mid}T{\mid}^{2s}{\mid}T^*{\mid}^t)^{\frac{1}{t+s}}-{\mid}T^*{\mid}^{2t})T^k{\geq}0$$, where s > 0, t > 0 and k is a natural number. We show that an algebraically k-quasi-class A(s, t) operator T is polaroid, has Bishop's property ${\beta}$ and we prove that Weyl type theorems for k-quasi-class A(s, t) operators. In particular, we prove that if $T^*$ is algebraically k-quasi-class A(s, t), then the generalized a-Weyl's theorem holds for T. Using these results we show that $T^*$ satisfies generalized the Weyl's theorem if and only if T satisfies the generalized Weyl's theorem if and only if T satisfies Weyl's theorem. We also examine the hyperinvariant subspace problem for k-quasi-class A(s, t) operators.

  • We propose new metrics for understandability and modifiability of class inheritance structures based on the object-oriented metrics suggested by Chidamber and Kemerer. The metrics are evaluated using the results of Gursaran s experiments which validated the empirical relation of DIT(Depth of Inheritance Tree) and NOC(Number of Children) metrics of Chidamber and Kemerer.

  • Let $k=\mathbb{F}_q(T)$ be a rational function field over the finite field $\mathbb{F}_q$, where q is a power of an odd prime number, and $\mathbb{A}=\mathbb{F}_q[T]$. Let ${\gamma}$ be a generator of $\mathbb{F}^*_q$. Let $\mathcal{H}_n$ be the subset of $\mathbb{A}$ consisting of monic square-free polynomials of degree n. In this paper we obtain an asymptotic formula for the mean value of $L(1,{\chi}_{\gamma}{\small{D}})$ and calculate the average value of the ideal class number $h_{\gamma}\small{D}$ when the average is taken over $D{\in}\mathcal{H}_{2g+2}$.

  • An innovation diffusion model is proposed model consists of three classes, namely, a non-adopter class, adopter class innovation-I, and adopter class innovation-II in a partially competitive and cooperative market. The proposed model is analyzed with the help of the qualitative theory of a system of ordinary differential equations. Basic influence numbers associated with first and second innovation $R_{0_1}$ and $R_{0_2}$ respectively in the absence of each other are quantified. Then the overall basic influence number (R0) of the system is assessed for analyzing stability in the market in different situations. Sensitivity analysis of basic influence numbers associated with first and second innovation in the absence of each other is carried out. Numerical simulation supports our analytical findings.

  • The goal of this study was to explore topic defining patterns of students in interdisciplinary Capstone Design Class. Thematic analysis methodology was used to examine 85 Korean college students' lived experience of project topic generation which is for interdisciplinary capstone design class and Individual open-ended survey for constituted the data sources. Findings show four contexts of student's topic defining patterns using thematic analysis including (a) one leader's directed problem representation, (b) team common decision making after brainstorming, (c) empathy with professor proposed issue, (d) problems offered to students by corporate or research competitions. Based on research result, I could suggest instructional strategies of Capstone Design Class of teacher for helping their students' topic defining. It was necessary to minimize the opinions of the instructors at the beginning of class and minimize the number of team members. And also it provided a lot of opportunities to collaborate with companies in the topic selection process, it will help to develop the students' ability to determine the valuable topic in project.
