The KJC and KCI services operated by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) need to refer to the global citation index database to set the service direction that researchers want and develop new functions. Therefore, in this study, the usability of Korea's KJC and KCI web databases was evaluated. In addition, FGI verification was performed for a group of experts on KJC and KCI improvement measures derived by academic information experts. The evaluation committee consisted of the researcher group, the society related group, the publisher (academic information distribution organization) group, and the policy-making organization group. A total of 16 experts performed usability evaluation and service improvement proposals for KJC and KCI services. As a result of usability evaluation of KJC and KCI web database using SUS measurement tool, KJC service was evaluated as 73.44, and KCI service was evaluated as good as 64.38. KJC improvement proposals were evaluated positively with 4 points or more for all improvement items, and KCI improvement proposals were positively evaluated with 3.5 points or more for all improvement items. Overall, KJC and KCI error improvements were evaluated with a score of 4 or more, showing strong affirmations. In the future, it is hoped that the improvement proposals and improvements proposed in this study will be applied to the development of KJC and KCI services, so that more quality services will be used by domestic researchers.

이 연구의 목적은 국내 약학 연구에서 활용되는 주요 학술지를 조사하고 주요 연구 영역을 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 한국 약학 분야 연구자의 연구성과물을 대상으로 학술지 인용빈도 분석과 동시인용 분석을 수행하였다. 한국 연구자의 인용 데이터는 SCOPUS와 KSCD로부터 수집하였다. 인용빈도 분석 결과 116종의 핵심 학술지가 파악되었으며 패스파인더 네트워크로 학술지 간 관계를 표현하였다. 학술지 상관행렬에 대한 요인분석을 통해 18개의 연구 영역이 도출되었고 관련 학술지를 함께 제시할 수 있었다.

The bibliometric analysis is widely used for understanding research domains, trends, and knowledge structures in a particular field. The analysis has majorly been used in the field of information science, and it is currently applied to other academic fields. This paper describes the analysis of academic literatures for classifying research domains and for suggesting empty research areas in the telecommunications policy. The application software is developed for retrieving Thomson Reuters' Web of Knowledge (WoK) data via web services. It also used for conducting text mining analysis from contents and citations of publications. We used three text mining techniques: the Keyword Extraction Algorithm (KEA) analysis, the co-occurrence analysis, and the citation analysis. Also, R software is used for visualizing the term frequencies and the co-occurrence network among publications. We found that policies related to social communication services, the distribution of telecommunications infrastructures, and more practical and data-driven analysis researches are conducted in a recent decade. The citation analysis results presented that the publications are generally received citations, but most of them did not receive high citations in the telecommunications policy. However, although recent publications did not receive high citations, the productivity of papers in terms of citations was increased in recent ten years compared to the researches before 2004. Also, the distribution methods of infrastructures, and the inequity and gap appeared as topics in important references. We proposed the necessity of new research domains since the analysis results implies that the decrease of political approaches for technical problems is an issue in past researches. Also, insufficient researches on policies for new technologies exist in the field of telecommunications. This research is significant in regard to the first bibliometric analysis with abstracts and citation data in telecommunications as well as the development of software which has functions of web services and text mining techniques. Further research will be conducted with Big Data techniques and more text mining techniques.

본 논문은 국내 전기.전자공학분야 연구자들의 출판물에 나타난 인용 특성을 분석 연구하였다. 이를 위해 정기간행물 기사색인의 235개 기사와 INSPEC의 189개 기사에 나타난 총3,414개의 인용 자료가 본 연구를 위해 사용되었다. 여기서는 전기.전자공학분야 연구자들의 인용형태를 밝히고, 정부기관 (국립연구소 포함), 대학 및 기업체 소속 연구자들의 인용형태를 비교하였으며, 국내 간행물과 외국 간행물에 실린 출판물 사이의 인용형태를 비교하였다. 본 논문에서는 인용분석 연구 결과가 도서관과 자료실의 장서개발 계획과 의사결정에 도움을 줄 수 있다고 결론지었고 실제로 전기 전자공학 분야 도서관과 자료실에 대한 제언들이 제시되었다.

Many problems making the use and management of patents arduous is caused by the difficulty in knowing the proper value. This study has suggests the methods to evaluate the value of patents by using a quantitative assessment scale as an alternative or complementary measure instead of the existing subjective evaluation tools. This study is to find a method to determine the capability and level of research and establish the scheme of use and management of patents by using the citation index as a quantitative assessment measure. The data used in this paper has been obtained from a public-sector R&D institute, the K-Institute in Korea.

국내 과학기술 분야 연구자들의 인용행태를 종합적으로 파악하고 분석하기 위해서는 대규모의 신뢰할 수 있는 인용색인 데이터베이스가 필요하다. KISTI는 한국 과학기술 인용색인 데이터베이스인 KSCD를 구축하고 한국과학기술인용보고서(KJCR) 및 한국과학기술인용색인서비스(KSCI)를 제공하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국내 핵심 학술지 459종의 학술지를 커버하는 KSCD를 활용하여 국내 과학기술분야 연구자들의 한국 학술지 인용행태를 분석 연구를 수행하였다. 연구 범위로는 첫째, 대상 DB 수록 학술지의 통계적 주요 수치정보를, 둘째, 인용문헌의 형태별 분석을, 셋째, 인용문헌의 국내와 해외비율 및 타분야 인용비율을, 넷째, 국내 인용문헌의 즉시인용, 인용절정기, 반감기를 마지막으로 KJCR 인용지표를 통한 학술지의 영향력 분석이다. 국내학술지 인용분석을 통한 연구의 주요 성과로는 국내 인용 학술지의 즉시인용률(평균 2.36%), 인용절정기(평균 1.7년), 반감기(평균 5.2년)의 규명과 모든 주제분야에서 자기학술지 인용률이 평균 50%를 넘는다는 것을 밝힌 것이다. 본 연구를 통해 국내 과학자들의 국내 학술지 인용행태를 과학기술 전분야에 걸쳐 종합적으로 파악할 수 있었다.

본 연구의 목적은 빅데이터 연구 논문의 주제 분야 간의 연관관계를 분석하는데 있다. 동시 인용관계를 적용하여 분석 대상의 주제 분야를 추출하였으며, R 프로그램의 Apriori 알고리즘을 이용하여 연관관계의 규칙을 분석하고, arulesViz 패키지를 사용하여 시각화하였다. 연구 결과 22개 주제 분야가 추출되었는데, 이들 주제 분야는 3가지 군집으로 구분되었다. 주제 분야의 연관관계 유형을 분석한 결과, 연관관계의 복잡성에 따라 '전문형', '일반형', '확대형'으로 구분되었다. 전문형에는 문헌정보학, 신문방송학 등이 포함되었고, 일반형에는 정치외교학, 무역학, 관광학 등이 포함되었고, 확대형에는 기타인문학, 사회과학일반, 관광학일반 등이 포함되었다. 이 연관관계는 빅데이터 연구자가 한 주제분야를 인용할 때 관계가 있는 다른 주제 분야를 인용하는 경향을 보여주는 것으로, 도서관에서 학술정보서비스를 위해 연관관계를 활용한 서비스를 고려해야 할 필요가 있다.

국내 과학기술전반에 걸쳐 주제분야별로 해외 학술지 인용비율 즉 해외 학술지 영향력에 대한 종합적인 분석은 부족한 실정이며 가장 큰 원인은 종합 분석이 가능한 국내 학술지에 대한 대규모 인용색인 데이터베이스의 부재였다. KISTI는 한국 과학기술 인용색인 데이터베이스인 KSCD를 구축하고 한국과학기술인용색인서비스(KSCI)를 제공하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국내 과학기술분야 핵심 학술지를 포괄하는 KSCD를 활용하여 국내 과학기술분야 연구자들의 해외 학술지 인용행태에 대한 분석 연구를 수행하였다. 연구 범위는 첫째, 해외 인용문헌의 형태별 분석을 둘째, 해외 학술지 인용문헌의 주제별 피인용수 및 타분야 인용비율 분석을, 셋째, 해외 학술지 인용문헌의 언어 및 발행국가 분석을, 넷째, 해외 학술지 발행기관 및 글로벌 인용색인 서비스 등재현황 분석을 마지막으로 국내의 해외 전자저널 구독 현황 분석이다. 해외학술지 인용분석을 통한 연구의 주요성과로는 해외 인용 학술지의 인용절정기(평균 3.9년), 반감기(평균 9년)의 규명과 한국 연구자들이 주로 해외등재학술지를 인용하며 국내에서 인용 해외등재학술지의 90%정도가 전자저널로 구독되고 있음을 밝힌 점이다. 본 연구를 통한 국내 과학자들의 해외 학술지 인용행태 분석 결과는 해외 전자저널 구독 전략 수립에 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This study is about the influence of authors' centrality on research outcomes in a large-scale collaborative research network. Using the social network analysis method, five types of centralities were derived. Six research outcomes of individual researchers were also derived through bibliographic information of the social science field for the last 10 years. A multivariate regression analysis was conducted to examine the causal relationship between the centrality and research outcome, and the effect of centrality on research outcomes was found to be statistically significant. The result of this study shows that the revised citation and H-index significantly influenced the authors' centrality. This result can imply that the centrality of the researcher can expect a considerable influence of the thesis as well as a certain level of productivity. The meaning of this study is to analyze the effect of centrality on the research outcomes of the large-scale collaborative research network in the past decade, and is carefully to suggest a guideline in order to support new research information services for active researchers and the advancement of collaborative research. This study has its limitation for interpreting the diverse academic fields of the social sciences in a uniform way. In future study, it is necessary to conduct studies using various weighted indices for network centrality in order to measure the influence of research.
