유공직사각형평판(有孔直四角形平板)의 접수진동(接水振動) (Transverse Vibration of Rectangular Plates Having an Inner Cutout in Water)

  • This paper is concerned with the experimental investigation of transverse vibration characteristics in water of rectangular plates having an inner free cutout. Systematic experiments are carried out to investigate effects of the surrounding water on the added mass and the natural frequency of the plates due to the changes of the aspect ratio, hole size and eccentricity. The main subject is the clamped rectangular plate with a circular hole. For the purpose of comparative evaluations, some other common-type boundary conditions and hole shapes such as ellipses and rectangles are also investigated. Some of the results obtain are as follows; 1) For each given aspect ratio of the plate, there is a hole area ratio which gives a minimum value of the nondimensional frequency parameter for each mode. The hole area ratio increases as the order number of the mode increases. 2) The nondimensinal mass-increment parameter decreases as the aspect ration or the order number of the mode increases. For each given aspect ratio, the parameter the fundamental mode decreases monotonically as the hole area ratio increase. In cases of the second and higher order modes, however, each mode has a hole area ratio which gives a maximum value of the parameter for each aspect ratio more then 2/3. 3) Comparing elliptic holes with rectangular ones with same hole area ratio, nondimensional frequency parameters are almost same for each given ratio of the shorter axises to the longer one. 4) The influences of difference in boundary condion on nondimensional frequency parameters in water are similar to those in air.

Local ratcheting behavior in notched 1045 steel plates

  • In this paper, local ratcheting behavior of 1045 steel plates with circular cutout was investigated. Experimental tests were carried out by a Zwick/Roell HB 100 servo hydraulic machine. In order to measure the local strain at notch root, a data acquisition system with strain gauge was used. Various notch diameters and distances of strain gauges mounted from the notch root were found influential in the magnitude of local ratcheting strain. It was found that the local maximum principal stress plays a crucial role in increasing the local plastic deformation. Numerical simulation was done by ABAQUS software using nonlinear isotropic/kinematic hardening model. Material parameters of hardening model were attained from several stabilized cycles of flat specimens subjected to symmetric strain cycles. The nonlinear kinematic hardening model along with the Neuber's rule was employed to assess local ratcheting at the notch root of steel plates. The results of the numerical simulations agreed closely with those measured values in this study. Both ratcheting progress and mean stress relaxation occurred simultaneously at the notch root.

증분소성이론에 의한 p-Version 탄소성 유한요소해석 (p-Version Elasto-Plastic Finite Element Analysis by Incremental Theory of Plasticity)

  • p-version 유한요소법에 의한 고정밀해석은 응력특이가 발생하는 선형탄성 문제에 매우 적합한 방법으로 인식되고 있다. 해석 결과의 정확도, 모델링의 단순성, 입력자료에 대한 통용성 및 사용자와 CPU 시간의 절감 등 여러장점이 선형탄성 문제에 적용되어 우수성이 입증되었지만, 탄소성 해석분야는 아직 적용이 이루어지지 않고 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 일-경화재료에 대한 구성방정식을 이용하여 정식화된 증분소성이론과 소성유동법칙에 근거한 재료비선형 p-version 유한요소모델이 제안되었다. 비선형방정식을 풀기 위해 Newton-Raphson법과 초기강성도법 등의 반복법이 모색되었다. 제안된 모델을 이용하여 개구부를 가진 사각형 평판과 내압을 받는 두꺼운 실린더, 그리고 등분포하중을 받는 원판해석 등의 수치실험이 수행되었다. 한편, p-version 모델에 의한 해석결과는 문헌의 이론값과 상용유한요소프로그램인 ADINA의 해석결과와 비교 검증되었다.
