원형 플레이트 형태에 따른 초음파 부상 장치의 진동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Vibration Characteristics in Ultrasonic Levitation System according to the Circular Plate)

  • In the semiconductor and optical industry the non-contact transportation is required for reducing the damages. The ultrasonic levitation is the solution of the problem. In this paper, the ultrasonic levitation system and 3 disk-type stator for levitation various object are proposed. The vibration modes of disks are analyzed with FEM and designed with the analysis results. The 3D vibration profiles of the disks are measured by Laser scanning vibrometer for verifying the vibration characteristics of the system. The amplitudes of the disks and the levitation heights of object are measured for evaluating the performance.

  • For the quality control of the industrial products, an automatic hole measuring system has been developed. The measurement device allows X-Y movement due to contact forces between a hole and its own circular cone and the device is attached to an industrial robot. Its measurement accuracy is about 0.04mm. This movement of the plate is measured by two LVDT sensor system. But this system using the LVDT sensors is restricted by high cost and precision of measurement and correspondence of environment so particularly, a vision system with CCD-Camera is discussed in this paper for the above mentioned purpose. The device consists of two of two links jointed with hinge pins basically and, they guarantee free movement of the touch prove attached on the second link in the same plane. These links are returned to home position by the spring plungers automatically after each process for the next one. On the surface of the touch prove, it has a circular white mark for camera recognition. The system detect and notify the center coordinate of capture mark image through the image processing. Its measuring accuracy has been proved to be about $\pm$0.01mm through the repeated implementation over 200 times. This technique will shows the advantage of touch-indirect image capture idea using cone-shaped touch prove in various symmetrical shaped holes particulary, like tapped holes, chamfered holes, etc As a result, we attained our object in a view of the accuracy, economical efficiency, and functionality

수치해석적 기법을 활용한 골재 도로의 콜루게이션 발생 및 진전 분석 (Numerical Analysis of the Initiation and Development of Corrugation on a Gravel Road)

  • PURPOSES : In this research, the initiation and development of corrugation on a gravel road with certain wheel and boundary conditions were evaluated using a coupled discrete-element method (DEM) with multibody dynamics (MBD). METHODS : In this study, 665,534 particles with a 4-mm diameter were generated and compacted to build a circular roadbed track, with a depth and width of 42 mm and 50 mm, respectively. A single wheel with a 100-mm diameter, 40-mm width, and 0.157-kg mass was considered for the track. The single wheel was set to run slowly on the track with a speed of 2.5 rad/s so that the corrugation was gradually initiated and developed without losing contact between the wheel and the roadbed. Then, the shape of the track surface was monitored, and the movement of the particles in the roadbed was tracked at certain wheel-pass numbers to evaluate the overall corrugation initiation and development mechanism. RESULTS : Two types of corrugation, long wave-length and short wave-length, were observed in the circular track. It seems that the long wave-length corrugation was developed by the longitudinal movement of surface particles in the entire track, while the short wave-length corrugation was developed by shear deformation in a local section. Properties such as particle coefficients, track bulk density, and wheel mass, have significant effects on the initiation and development of long-wave corrugation. CONCLUSIONS : It was concluded that the coupled numerical method applied in this research could be effectively used to simulate the corrugation of a gravel road and to understand the mechanism that initiates and develops corrugation. To derive a comprehensive conclusion for the corrugation development under various conditions, the driver's acceleration and deceleration with various particle gradations and wheel-configuration models should be considered in the simulation.

  • Boussinesq 지반형(地盤型)의 탄소성체지반(彈塑性體地盤)위에 놓인 원형평판(圓形平板)이 축대칭하중(軸對稱荷重)을 받았을 경우의 거동을 파악하기 위하여 8절점(節點) 등매개변수요소(媒介變數要素)를 사용한 유한요소해석(有限要素解析) 방법(方法)을 이론적(理論的)으로 발전시키고 이를 수행하기 위한 컴퓨터 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이론(理論)의 정당성을 입증하기 위해 모형실험을 수행한 결과 지반(地盤)의 항복조건으로 Mohr-Coulomb 강복이론(降伏理論)을 적용한 수치해(數値解)의 결과(結果)와 실험결과(實驗結果)가 근사함을 확인하였다. Mohr-Coulomb의 파괴이론(破壞理論)을 적용한 비선형해석(非線型解析)을 수행한 예제(例題)의 결과로 부터, 지반의 소성영역(塑性領域)이 원판(圓板)의 녹단부근(綠端附近)에서 발생하기 시작하여 중심축둘레로 연결되었을 때 접지압(接地壓)이 급격히 변하여 전단파괴(剪斷破壞)의 위험성(危險性)이 있다고 판단되고 이 때의 외부작용하중(外部作用荷重)을 임계하중(臨界荷重)으로 정의하였다.

GaN계 수직형 발광 다이오드를 위한 N-face n-GaN의 인듐계 저저항 오믹접촉 연구 (Low Resistance Indium-based Ohmic Contacts to N-face n-GaN for GaN-based Vertical Light Emitting Diodes)

  • We investigated the In-based ohmic contacts on Nitrogen-face (N-face) n-type GaN, as well as Ga-face n-type GaN, for InGaN-based vertical Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs). For this purpose, we fabricated Circular Transfer Length Method (CTLM) patterns on the N-face n-GaN that were prepared by using a laser-lift off method, as well as on the Ga-face n-GaN that were prepared by using a dry etching method. Then, In/transparent conducting oxide (TCO) and In/TiW schemes were deposited on the CTLM in order for low resistance ohmic contacts to form. The In/TCO scheme on the Ga-face n-GaN showed high specific contact resistance, while the minimum specific contact resistance was only 3${\times}$10$^{-2}$ $\Omega$-cm$^{2}$ after annealing at 300${^{\circ}C}$, which can be attributed to the high sheet resistance of the TCO layer. In contrast, the In/TiW scheme on the Ga-face n-GaN produced low specific contact resistance of 2.1${\times}$10$^{5}$ $\Omega$-cm$^{2}$ after annealing at 500${^{\circ}C}$ for 1 min. In addition, the In/TiW scheme on the N-face n-GaN also resulted in a low specific contact resistance of 2.2${\times}$10$^{-4}$ $\Omega$-cm$^{2}$ after annealing at 300${^{\circ}C}$. These results suggest that both the Ga-face n-GaN and N-face n-GaN.

광탄성 기법을 이용한 얕은 기초 하중을 받는 입상체의 응력 및 변위장 측정 (Measurement of Stress and Displacement Fields in Particle Assembly subjected to Shallow Foundation Loading via Photoelasticity Technique)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 얕은 기초 하중을 받는 입상체 내의 응력의 분포와 변위를 측정하는 광탄성 기법의 적용 방안을 제시하는 데 있다. 광탄성 측정기법은 입자 집합체의 힘 전달을 시각화하기 위해 사용 되었다. 실내 모형시험은 스틸 프레임으로 경계면을 만들고 폴리카보네이트 탄성중합체로 만들어진 이차원 원형 입자들을 적층하여 구성하였다. 광탄성 시트를 원형 입자에 코팅함으로써 힘 전달의 패턴을 밝은 빛의 줄무늬 형태로 확인할 수 있었고, 광탄성 측정 기법을 통해 접촉되어 있는 입자들에서의 주 응력차의 크기, 방향 또한 측정 할 수 있었다. 변위장은 디지털 이미지 해석 기법을 사용하여 측정 하였다. 하중 재하 초기 상태와 파괴 근처의 상태에서 서로 다른 접촉력의 분포를 정량적으로 분석하였다. 파괴 이전 단계에서 관측된 광탄성 패턴과 변위장은 접촉력 사슬의 좌굴 발생 이후 즉시 사라짐을 확인하였다.

Wet chemistry damage가 Nanopatterned p-ohmic electrode의 전기적/구조적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Wet Chemistry Damage on the Electrical and Structural Properties in the Wet Chemistry-Assisted Nanopatterned Ohmic Electrode)

  • 본 연구에서는 Wet chemistry damage가 Nanopatterned p-ohmic electrode에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. Nanopattern은 Metal clustering을 이용하여, P-GaN와 Ohmic형성에 유리한 Pd을 50$\AA$ 적층한 후 Rapid Thermal Annealing방법으로 $850^{\circ}C$, $N_2$분위기에서 3min열처리를 하여 Pd Clustering mask 를 제작하였다. Wet etching은 $85^{\circ}C$, $H_3PO_4$조건에서 시간에 따라 Sample을 Dipping하는 방법으로 시행하였다 Ohmic test를 위해서 Circular - Transmission line Model 방법을 이용하였으며, Atomic Force Microscopy과 Parameter Analyzer로 Nanopatterned GaN surface위에 형성된 Ni/ Au Contact에서의 전기적 분석과, 표면구조분석을 시행하였다. AFM결과 Wet처리시간에 따라서 Etching형상 및 Etch rate이 영향을 받는 것이 확인되었고, Ohmic test에서 Wet chemistry처리에 의한 Tunneling parameter와 Schottky Barrier Height가 크게 증/감함을 관찰하였다. 이러한 결과들은 Wet처리에 의해서 발생된 Defect가 GaN의 표면과 하부에서 발생되며, Deep acceptor trap 및 transfer거동과 밀접한 관련이 있음을 확인 할 수 있었다. 보다 자세한 Transport 및 Wet chemical처리영향에 관한 형성 Mechanism은 후에 I-V-T, I-V, C-V, AFM결과 들을 활용하여 발표할 예정이다.

Study on the local damage of SFRC with different fraction under contact blast loading

  • The steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) shows better performance under dynamic loading than conventional concrete in virtue of its good ductility. In this paper, a series of quasi-static experiments were carried out on the SFRC with volume fractions from 0 to 6%. The compressive strength increases by 38% while the tension strength increases by 106% when the fraction is 6.0%. The contact explosion tests were also performed on the ${\Phi}40{\times}6cm$ circular SFRC slabs of different volume fractions with 20 g RDX charges placed on their surfaces. The volume of spalling pit decreases rapidly with the increase of steel fiber fraction with a decline of 80% when the fraction is 6%, which is same as the crack density. Based on the experimental results, the fitting formulae are given, which can be used to predict individually the change tendencies of the blast crater volume, the spalling pit volume and the crack density in slabs with the increase of the steel fiber fraction. The new formulae of the thickness of damage region are established, whose predictions agree well with our test results and others. This is of great practical significance for experimental investigations and engineering applications.

실리콘 이종접합 태양전지의 Zn 확산방지층에 의한 TCO/a-Si:H 층간의 계면특성 변화 (Changes in Interface Properties of TCO/a-Si:H Layer by Zn Buffer Layer in Silicon Heterojunction Solar Cells)

  • In this study, we inserted a Zn buffer layer into a AZO/p-type a-si:H layer interface in order to lower the contact resistance of the interface. For the Zn layer, the deposition was conducted at 5 nm, 7 nm and 10 nm using the rf-magnetron sputtering method. The results were compared to that of the AZO film to discuss the possibility of the Zn layer being used as a transparent conductive oxide thin film for application in the silicon heterojunction solar cell. We used the rf-magnetron sputtering method to fabricate Al 2 wt.% of Al-doped ZnO (AZO) film as a transparent conductive oxide (TCO). We analyzed the electro-optical properties of the ZnO as well as the interface properties of the AZO/p-type a-Si:H layer. After inserting a buffer layer into the AZO/p-type a-Si:H layers to enhance the interface properties, we measured the contact resistance of the layers using a CTLM (circular transmission line model) pattern, the depth profile of the layers using AES (auger electron spectroscopy), and the changes in the properties of the AZO thin film through heat treatment. We investigated the effects of the interface properties of the AZO/p-type a-Si:H layer on the characteristics of silicon heterojunction solar cells and the way to improve the interface properties. When depositing AZO thin film on a-Si layer, oxygen atoms are diffused from the AZO thin film towards the a-Si layer. Thus, the characteristics of the solar cells deteriorate due to the created oxide film. While a diffusion of Zn occurs toward the a-Si in the case of AZO used as TCO, the diffusion of In occurs toward a-Si in the case of ITO used as TCO.

고부하 동력 전달용 WILDHABER-NOVIKOV GEAR의 치형과 강도에 대한 연구 (A Study on the, Tooth Profile and Strength of WILDHABER-NOVIKOV Gear for high Power Transmission)

  • The WILDHABER-NOVIKOV gear, one of the circular arc gears, has the large contact area between the convex and concave profiled mating teeth, moves from one end of the tooth to the other axially making a face contact. Hence it provides a large load capacity than the Involute gear and still satisfying the law of gearing. In order to analyze the gear stress, a photoelastic investigation was carried out. Photo elastic model of the WILDHABER-NOVIKOV gears were made of Araldite CT200 in this investigation. For both the many teeth gear and the few teeth gear segments, External gears of all addendum type WILDHABER-NOVIKOV gear and the involute gear were tested. Included were the models with various profile raddi at the same pressure angle 20 .deg. and module 13.5. The flank stresses and fillet stresses of these gears were observed in each case and compared with those of gears. From this investigation, the following results were obtained. A. In the case of having many teeth gear: As the profile radius is increased, the fillet stresses of the WILDHABER-NOVIKOV gear become the same or less than that of the INVOLUTE gea, and the flank stress becomes smaller than that of the INVOLUTE gear. Therefore the better design condition is satisfied with a large profile radius. B. IN the case of having a few teeth gear: As the profile radius is increased the flank stress of WILDHABER-NOVIKOV gear becomes smaller than that of the INVOLUTE gear, but the fillet stresses become larger than that of the INVOLUTE gear. Therefore the larger design condition is satisfied with small profile radius.
