  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of different medium frequency currents on afferent fibers. Methods : Thirty healthy volunteers who had no known history of neurological disorders were equally assigned to one of three groups; 2500Hz, 4000Hz, and control and each group was applied to the left wrist in palmer cutaneous branch of radial nerve by different medium frequency currents for 15 min. We measured the changes of thresholds for tactile, two-point discrimination, and thresholds for pain. Results : The results showed that the medium frequency currents stimulation increased thresholds for tactile, two-point discrimination, and thresholds for pain. However, there is no statistically significant difference between group 2500Hz and group 4000Hz. Conclusion : This may explain thresholds for tactile, two-point discrimination, and thresholds for pain plain medium frequency currents stimulation inhibits the excitability of afferent fibers, but the effect of the frequency difference within medium frequency currents is not demonstrated.

  • Electron magnetohydrodynamic (EMHD) turbulence provides a fluid-like description of small-scale magnetized plasmas. Most EMHD turbulence studies consider "balanced" EMHD turbulence. However, imbalanced EMHD turbulence has never been studied. In this study, we numerically study "imbalanced" EMHD turbulence. Imbalanced turbulence means that wave packets moving in one direction have high amplitudes or strong perturbations than the others. In driven imbalanced EMHD turbulence, non-zero magnetic helicity is injected. When magnetic helicity is injected at a scale, we expect to have inverse cascade of magnetic helicity, as well as magnetic energy, in three-dimensional (3D) EMHD turbulence. For no helicity injection, we do not observe inverse energy cascade. However, when magnetic helicity is injected, inverse cascade of magnetic helicity is clearly observed. Magnetic energy also shows inverse cascade. In EMHD turbulence, it is well known that magnetic energy on scales smaller than the energy injection scale is forward-cascading quantity and the magnetic energy spectrum follows a k^{-7/3} one. On the other hand, the inverse-cascading entity on scales larger than the energy injection scale is uncertain. If the magnetic helicity is inverse-cascading quantity, we will obtain a k^{-5/3} magnetic energy spectrum. In our simulations, we do observe energy spectrum consistant with k^{-5/3} on large scales. Therefore, we confirm that magnetic helicity indeed is the inverse-cascading entity in 3D EMHD turbulence.

  • This study aims to examine changes from differences in the lumbar scoliosis angle and iliac crest height due to abnormal and habitual posture shown in unilateral weight load at standing posture and suggest data for preventing and treating lumbago. The subjects of this study are 16 lumbago patients between twenties and forties with chronic lumbago over six months, but without neurological symptoms. As a result of photographing front and back with three conditions such as weight load on both sides and left or right unilateral weight load posture in order to examine changes of lumbar scoliosis and iliac crest according to changes of posture at unilateral weight load, while scoliosis angle and iliac crest height by habitual unilateral support were increased, those by opposite support were decreased. In conclusion, it was found that habitual unilateral weight load may cause continuous distortion of spinal angle and change of iliac crest height and these may be a factor of lumbago. Therefore, if habitual unilateral weight load state is kept continuously, distortion of lumbar angle and iliac crest height may be greater and common efforts to change habitual unilateral weight load are needed.

  • Recently, it is increasing a users requiring actually and a variety of service due to a growth of wet based technique and network technique. In services, the interest in web and mobile contents domain is increasing rapidly. The most contents supported point or a E-Money as result of contents's usage. But, the point system be in name only due to a lack of a contents using a point or a related service. As a solution for this problem, this paper designed a supported system that integrated a point system supporting others contents and can associated to a game using that point. we made a simple game and supporting contents in web for simulating the designed system. Also, we realized the mobile system for communicating a data causing in web.
