Slow movement of snail can be a benefit since it means less speed of tracking is required to get accurate movement track, but in the other side it is difficult to extract the object because the snail is almost as static as the background. In this paper, we present a technique to track the snail by using one of its common characteristic, dark color of its shell. The technique needs to be robust to illumination change since the experiment is usually to observe the movement of snail both at bright and dim condition. Snail position coordinate in 3D space is calculated using orthogonal stereo vision which combines the information from two images taken from cameras at the top and in front of the aquarium. Experimental results show this technique does not need prior background image extraction and robust to gradual or sudden illumination change.

Existing ATC/ATO/TWC system has a ATC(Automatic Train Control) antenna for receiving the speed code, a ATO(Automatic Train Operation) antenna for obtaining the exact distance to go to platform and TWC(Train and Wayside Communication) antenna for communication between on-board and wayside system. This paper proposes the ATO/TWC antenna with tele-powering module, telegram transmitter/receiver module. This antenna communicates with a passive type tag(wayside Precision Stop Marker) for the information of distance from the stop position and a active type tag for the door command and status in the platform.

In this paper, we introduce the design method using CAE(Computer Aided Engineering) which is profitable in the compatibility and standardization of the developed product, and the reduction of construction time and price to develop and design a machine equipment. Particularly, we select the standard model to design or develop from the large machinery to the super precision one, extract the peculiar characters of the model by the close analysis on the physical and technical part, the experiment for the characteristics of objective dimensions by analogical mathematical analysis for previous results, and can induce the design model demanded by user investigating optimal data in the design previous. We present the analogical algorithms and process method of design factors and restriction factors in the systematization design with computer. Then we analyze step functions for each systematization equipment and induce the process of technical data with actuator model.

There are many electrical accidents between bare wire and line post insulator which is degraded by long time using, causing leakage current on the surface of insulator. In this paper it is presented that the 22.9 Kv-y distribution lines are protected by binding cover which is needed from fog or rainy moisture, surges occurring by switching or lightening pulse. It is analyzed to investigate the unbalanced transfer characteristics and reflection coefficient by using binding cover and non-cover. It was tested the radio interference voltage in the test room and electric field strength by calculation between binding cover and non-cover. In the factory the leakage current causing on the surface of insulator was tested in the state of light load and heavy load.

The Rolling Stock pursues more safe, speedy and accurate operation on the increment of the passenger and the short headway. Signalling system is providing an assurance on safety and reliability of the system, which is based on fail-safe concept. Therefore we are willing to study up on MMI device for new onboard ATP/ATO equipment which is used for driver to recognize train status and fault more quickly and to solve any problem more rapidly, which can maximize the stability and reliability of the system.

Subway line becomes an important way of transportation as road traffic goes to limit. Recently the large number of passengers of the subway lines near metropolitan area, In-Cheon, Su-Won, Pyung-Teak and Chon-An, is rapidly increasing. The electric cars of the No. 1 subway line in the suburbs are now running fast compared to the downtown area. However, the fast electric car can be uncomfortable to ride in, because there are so much noise and vibration. In this research, the running characteristics of the electric car of the No. 1 subway line in the suburbs is investigated through the measurements of the noise and vibration at running condition.

This paper describes development of PMSG wind power system model using wind turbine simulator and matrix converter. The wind turbine simulator, which consists of an induction motor with vector drive, calculates the output torque of a specific wind turbine using simulation software and sends the torque signal to the vector drive after scaling down the calculated value. The operational feasibility of interconnected PMSG system with matrix converter was verified by computer simulations with PSCAD/EMTDC software. The simulation results confirm that matrix converter can be effectively applied for the PMSG system.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Gardeniae Fructus Water Extract (GF) on the production of inflammatory mediators in RAW 264.7 cell treated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Methods: Gradeniae Fructus was extracted with distilled water (2,000 ml) for 2 hours. In order to evaluate cytotoxicity of GF, 3 - (4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl) - 2,5 - diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay was performed. To investigate antiinflammatory effects, the concentration of nitric oxide (NO) was measured with No assay, calcium (Ca) was measured with Fluo-4 Ca assay, and cytokine was measured by Bio-Plex cytokine assay in RAW 264.7 cell. And when p-value is below 0.05, it is judged to have the significant difference statistically. Results: 1. GF did not show any cytotoxicity. 2. GF suppressed the production of NO and Ca at the concentration of 25, 50, 100 and $200{\mu}g/ml$. 3. GF suppressed the production of interleukin (IL)-$1{\beta}$, IL-10, IL-12p40, macrophage-colony stimulating factor (M-CSF), macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP)-$1{\beta}$ and keratinocyte chemoattractant(KC) at the concentration of 25, 50, 100 and $200{\mu}g/ml$. 4. GF suppressed the production of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) and monocyte cheomattractant protein (MCP)-1 at the concentration of 25, 50 and $100{\mu}g/ml$. 5. GF suppressed the production of granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) and regulated on activation, normal T cell expressed and secreted (RANTES) at the concentration of 25 and $50{\mu}g/ml$. 6. GF suppressed the production of MIP-2 at the concentration of 50 and $100{\mu}g/ml$, and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-${\alpha}$ at the concentration of 50 and $200{\mu}g/ml$. Conclusions: These results suggest that GF has anti-inflammatory effect and immuno-modulating activity.

Objectives Lumbago is very common symptoms and many lumbago patients visited Korean Medicine clinic to cure lumbago. But It is not studied therapy type and pattern identification in lumbago patients. This study aim to survey therapy type and pattern identification in lumbago patients. Methods We collected data of 755 patients treated to cure lumbago in Korean Medicine Hospital from 1, Jan. to 31, Dec., 2012. The therapy variable are acupuncture, herbal acupuncture, physical therapy, Chuna Tx, herbal medicine, cupping and moxibustion. Demographic variable are age, gender, district, medical insurance code, and etc. Results 1) We collected data of 755 lumbago patients in 5 Korean medical Hospitals. 2) Age, district, insurance code, diseases were statistically significant by pattern identification. 3) Therapy types of lumbago patients were different by pattern identification. Conclusions In lumbago patients, therapy type and herbal medicine were different by Pattern identification. In the future, it is needed prospective and large scale database for pattern identification in lumbago patients.

Chon-Mun-Ryu-Cho (天文類抄), written (edited) by Lee Sun-Ji (李純之) during the period of King Se-Jong, is a representative astronomy book of Cho-Sun (朝鮮: A.D. 1392-1910) Dynasty. We find and study in the first page of the book; the description of 28 oriental constellations as a Sasin (four mythical oriental animals)-animal sky map which is not widely known yet. The map consists of four groups of constellations, each of which represents the Sasin: Chang-Ryong (蒼龍: dragon), Baek-Ho (白虎: tige.s with Ki-Rin [離隣: Oriental giraffe]), Ju-Jak (朱崔: Chinese phoenix), Hyun-Mu (玄武: a tortoise interwined with a snake). Each group (animals) spans 2 ～ 7 of 28 oriental constellations (宿). As we know from the illustration (論說) of the Chon-Sang-Yol-Cha-Bun-Ya-Ji-Do (天象列次分野之圖), a representative sky map of Cho-Sun Dynasty, astronomy in Cho-Sun Dynasty is closely related to that in Go- Gu-Rye. (高句麗: B.C. 37 -A.D. 668) Dynasty. Since these Sasin-animals appear in most mural paintings of Go-Gu-Rye. (高句麗) tombs, visualization of sky with these animal constellations could have been established as early as in Go-Gu-Ryer Dynasty. We also reconstruct this ”A Sasin-animal Korean sky map” based on the shapes of the Sasin and Ki-Rin from Go-Gu-Ryer paintings and 28 oriental constellations in Chon- S an g- Yol- C h a- B un- Ya- J i- Do.
