읽기장애아동과 일반아동의 통사적 다양성에 따른 운율 특성 비교 (A comparative study of prosodic features according to the syntactic diversities between children with reading disability and nondisabled children)

  • 읽기와 관련된 운율은 내용의 전체적인 맥락에 연결되어 독자가 전달하고자 하는 의미를 자연스럽게 표현할 수 있도록 음도, 강도, 발화속도 등의 변화로 나타난다. 읽기장애아동은 자연스러운 운율을 사용한 읽기에 어려움이 있어 표현력 있게 정보를 전달하지 못하는 경향이 있다. 이와 관련하여 본 연구는 문장 유형에 따른 읽기 과제를 통하여 읽기장애아동 집단과 일반아동 집단 간의 운율 특성 차이를 규명하였다. 초등학교 3-6학년 읽기장애아동 15명, 일반아동 15명을 대상으로 통사적으로 다양한 문장 유형(단문, 의도, 가정/조건, 관형절 내포문)에 따른 읽기 과제를 실시하였다. 읽기장애아동은 일반아동에 비해 음도 범위가 넓었으며 읽기 속도와 조음 속도가 느렸다. 또한 휴지 빈도가 높았으며 전체 휴지 지속시간도 길었다. 읽기장애아동은 문미 억양구와 문장 내 어절 단위 음도 기울기에서 일반아동에 비해 기울기 값이 컸으며 이상의 내용은 모두 통계적으로 유의하였다. 결과적으로 문장 유형에 따른 읽기 과제에서 읽기장애아동은 일반아동에 비해 자연스럽고 표현력 있는 읽기에 어려움을 보였다. 본 연구를 통해 읽기장애아동의 운율 특성을 파악하였고, 효과적인 중재를 위한 접근 방법의 필요성을 제시했다.

발달장애아 부모의 재활적 의료 욕구도 (Rehabilitation Medical Desire of Parents with Developmental Disability Children)

  • This study is aiming for evaluating the factors influencing rehabilitation medical desire in parents (RMDP) with developmental disability children. This study was made with a randomized sample of 156 parents, who were given a questionnaire about how they feel medical needs for their children. The results of the study were as follows: The RMDP is significantly high in relatively the older aged parents group(p<.01). The RMDP is significantly high in severe disability group(p<.01). The RMDP is significantly high in the more spend group of monthly medical cost(p<.05). The group difference of RMDP by monthly income or movement type of disability is not significant(p>.05). It is thought that medical staff need to be actively involved in parents group with developmental disability children to improve motivation, who is relatively the younger than 35 years old or has mild to moderate disability degree of child.

신체기능장애와 발달장애아동 어머니의 장애수용, 스트레스, 대처방식 및 웰니스 (Comparison of Acceptance of Disability, Stress, Coping Methods, and Wellness between Mothers of Physical Dysfunctional or Developmental Disabilities)

  • 본 연구는 신체기능장애와 발달장애아동 어머니의 장애수용, 스트레스, 대처방식, 웰니스 정도를 비교하여, 유형별 장애아동 어머니를 위한 효율적인 관리 방안을 마련하는데 필요한 기초자료를 제공하기 위한 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 장애아동을 양육하는 어머니이다. 자료수집은 2018년 10월부터 2019년 4월까지 실시하였고, 두군 간의 차이는 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson 상관관계로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 신체기능장애와 발달장애아동 어머니의 장애수용, 스트레스, 대처방식, 웰니스 정도에 따라 두군 간의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 신체기능장애아동 어머니의 장애수용과 대처방식(r=0.23, p=.033), 장애수용과 웰니스(r=0.51, p<.001)는 정적 상관관계를 나타냈고, 장애수용과 스트레스(r=0.72, p<.001)는 부적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 발달장애아동 어머니의 장애수용과 웰니스(r=0.40, p<.001)는 유의한 정적 상관관계를 나타냈고, 장애수용과 스트레스(r=-0.71, p<.001)는 유의한 부적상관관계를 나타냈다. 신체기능장애아동 어머니는 장애수용 정도가 높을수록 스트레스는 낮게, 대처방식과 웰니스는 높게 나타났다. 발달장애아동 어머니는 장애수용 정도가 높을수록 스트레스가 낮게, 웰니스 정도가 높게 나타났다. 신체기능장애아동 어머니의 장애수용 증진을 위해서는 스트레스를 낮춰주는 전략 및 대처방식과 웰니스를 모두 증진시켜주는 전략이 필요하고 반면 발달장애아동 어머니에게는 스트레스를 낮춰주는 전략과 웰니스를 증진시켜 주는 전략이 필요함을 알 수 있었다.

자발적 움직임 활동 심리운동이 지적장애 아동의 신체 운동성과 사회적 능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Psychomotorik Program with Voluntary Movement Activity on the Development of Physical Exercise Ability and Social Competence in Children with Intellectual Disability)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study has been performed to find the effect of psychomotorik program with voluntary movement activity on the development of social competence and physical exercise ability improvement in children with intellectual disability. Methods : This study was conducted with a similar group comparison study design to examine applicative effects of voluntary movement group psychomotor activities on body locomotion skills and social competence of intellectually disabled children. This study included 12 children with intellectual disability aged between 7 and 10 years. Experimental group was performed 50 minutes psychomotorik program for once a week during 12 weeks. Physical Exercise ability (TGMD-2) and changes in social competence were measured before and after the intervention program. Results : There were positive changes in social competence and physical exercise ability in the experimental and control groups before and after the intervention program. Only the experimental group showed significant difference in the pre and post measurement. There was a significant difference between the two groups before and after the intervention. Conclusion : Psychomotorik program with voluntary movement activity has a positive effect on the improvement of activity on the development of social competence and physical exercise ability improvement in children with intellectual disability. Accordingly, voluntary movement psychomotor activities programs can be utilized as a useful intervention method to improve the body locomotion skills of intellectually disabled children in the clinical and educational fields in the future.

발달장애아의 조기치료에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석 (Analysis of Factors Influencing on the Early Treatment of Children With Developmental Disability)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate factors influencing on the early treatment of children with developmental disability. Data was collected from 102 mothers of children with developmental disability who were treated at 4 rehabilitation facilities in Kyunggi-Do and Kangwon-Do. The results were as follows: 1) Of a total of 102, 63 children began to receive rehabilitation therapy during the period 0~12 months (early treatment group), 38 children after 1 year of age (delayed early treatment group). 2) There were statistically significant differences between the early treatment group and delayed early treatment group for prematurity, low birth weight, the time to discover developmental abnormalities, the time of first diagnosis, and first treatment (p<0.05). 3) There were no statistically significant differences in the two groups for level of education, economic status, risk factors (except prematurity and birth weight), home care, family's cooperation and commuting time (p>0.05). Based on this study, the important factors for early treatment were early detection, early diagnosis and constant follow-up for high-risk babies.

Utilization of Computer Pointing Game for Improving Visual Perception Ability of Children with Severe Intellectual Disability

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of computer pointing game on the visual perception ability of children with severe intellectual disability. Based on a literature review, we developed a computer pointing game to improve visual perception ability, which consisted of three stages; catching a hamburger, catching a hamburger and a soda, and catching various foods. At each stage, different instructional models were applied by difficulty level of the contents. Experiments were performed among four children with severe intellectual disabilities for three weeks. They belonged to H public school in Kyeonggi, Korea. Their visual perceptions were quantitatively measured four times by utilizing the Korean Developmental Test of Visual Perception tool (K-DTVP-2). For qualitative evaluation, an observation assessment diary was written and analyzed. All four children at the fourth test showed better visual perception ability, compared with the ability at the first test. As a result of the analysis of the observation assessment, they were considered successful in their learning and ordinary life related to visual perception. It can be concluded that the computer pointing game may play a role in helping children with severe intellectual disabilities improve their visual perception ability.

일본 연하장애 어린이의 치과적 접근 (DENTAL APPROACHES OF CHILDREN WITH DYSPHAGIA IN JAPAN)

  • I participated in Academic Exchange Program(Action plan II) between KADH(Korean Association for Disability and Oral Health) and JSDH(Japanses Society for Disability and Oral Health) for 2 months from 3rd July 2012 to 2nd september 2012 in the Department of Hygiene and Oral Health, School of Dentistry, Showa University at Tokyo, Japan. I have observed their operation process and learned what dysphagia is and how it is consulted and taken care of as a therapy for patients with eating and swallowing disorders for two months in The department of special needs dentistry at Showa University Dental Hospital, Jonan Branch of Tokyo Metropolitan Kita Medical Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled, Smile Nakano Center, Tokyo metropolitan center for persons with disabilities in Lidabashi for one week, Eating and swallowing functional therapy workshop for disabled children, Tokyo metropolitan Tobu medical center for Persons with Developmental/Multiple Disabilities located in Minamisunamitchi for one week and on The 17-18th JSDR(Japanese Society of Dysphagia rehabilitation) in Sapporo. Through Action Plan II program, I learned how precious eating, drinking and swallowing with ease are and observed how they do and what they do as a dentist or a dental hygienist in Japan for dysphagia patients. Therefore, I want to present the dental approaches of children with dysphagia in Japan, based on my experience for two months.

장애아동의 가족탄력성에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study of Family Resilience Level of Family of Children with Disabilities and Its Predictors)

  • Little empirical study has been conducted concerning family resilience of family of children with disabilities. The purpose of this study is to examine the variables that may influence the level of family resilience and family resilience level of family of children with disabilities. This study used the sampled of 363 family of children with disabilities selected from 17 community rehabilitation centers. The measurement of family resilience composed of the base of Walsh(1998)'s theory. And using confirmatory factor analysis, it was confirmed that the scale has three factor such as belief system, organizational pattern and communication process. This study showed that using 5 points scale, mean of belief system is 3.62. And mean of organizational pattern is 3.38 and mean of communication process is 3.73. In identifying predictor of the family resilience, this study used variables from the following aspects: perspective of disability of children, intra-aspect of family, extra-aspect of family. Using Regression analysis, it was found that attitude of family of disability and spouse relationship influenced all sub-aspect of family resilience. Specially, helping of professional influenced belief system, accept of disability influenced organizational pattern. And positive expectation of family of disability influenced communication process. This finding give us significant practical implications for social work intervention & the direction of future research in family resilience.

학습 스타일 심리검사를 이용한 부진아 학습 지원 시스템의 개발 및 효과 분석 (Development and Effect Analysis of a Learning Support System for Underachievers Using Psychological Learning Style Tests)

  • 정부교육기관의 조사에 따르면 학습부진아에 대한 학습 지원이 절실한 상황이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 학습 스타일 심리검사를 이용하여 부진아에게 맞는 학습방법으로 학습을 지원하는 부진아 학습 지원 시스템을 구축하였다. 제안한 시스템은 첫째, 부진아의 특성으로 구성된 의사결정트리와 사전평가가 점수를 통하여 부진아를 진단한다. 둘째, 부진아로 판단된 학생은 학습 스타일 심리검사를 실시하여 강의형 학습(청각형), 멀티미디어형 학습(시각형), 게임형 학습(촉각형) 방법 중에 한 형태의 학습방법으로 학습을 지원한다. 셋째, 사후평가를 통하여 학업성취도를 학인하고 학업성취도가 낮은 학생에 대해서는 교수자와의 일대일 개별지도를 지원한다. 제안한 시스템을 사용하여 학습부진아를 실험집단과 비교집단으로 나누어 학습을 검증한 결과 학습 스타일 심리검사를 실시하여 학습을 했을 경우의 학습성취도가 평균 10% 향상되었다.

  • Objectives: This study is to investigate the method for assesment of cerebral palsy(CP), especislly focusing on function assesment Methods: We searched the recent date of the publication and paper in Cerebral Palsy Results: Measuring the function of children with cerebral palsy is mobility, self-care and social ability. Early adequate evaluation of motor development and prognosis of degree of long-term motor disability is very important not only for parents, but also for correct management of goal oriented rehabilitation treatment and for planning of preventive measures. 1. Gross Motor Function Classification System(GMFCS) is valuable to prognostication about gross motor progress in children with CP, using longitudinal observation. 2. Gross Motor Function Measure(GMFM) is the instrument most commonly used to measure gross motor function in children with cerebral palsy(CP). 3. Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory(PEDI) is one of the most commonly used assessments for children with a disability. Conclusions: The functional Assesment of children with CP are used GMFCS, GMFM and PEDI.
