The purpose of this study is to provide the guideline of the outdoor space of residential land development district for children's outdoor activites. This study was accomplished by the valuation of the physical environment of 5 residential land development districts, the analyzation of behavioral mapping about children's outdoor activities, and the analyzation of satisfaction and the consciousness of 190 residents(parents) & 230 children. Especially, outdoor spaces were divided into 6 parts (play space, education facility, commercial facility, green space, and empty space & parking lot). And than, 6 outdoor spaces were valuated about the physical characters such as accessibility, network, safety, variety, functional, natural elements. Also, the survey for residents and children's consciousness were used the Likert scale. According to the result of this study, many parts of the housing area were not good for children's activities, and resident's satisfaction was low. In the sample areas, negative factors were car and motorcycle. And many residents were pointed out the lack of natural elements, variety, and safety of outdoor space in dwelling area. Finally, this study suggested the guideline children's activities based on the result of analyzation of valuation, behavioral mapping, and survey.
The purpose of this study is to provide the planning device of outdoor environment of housing area for children. This study was accomplished the analyzation of opinion and preference of 230 children, elementary school students in Daegu. The contents of survey included the general items of children, the characteristics of outdoor activities, and the opinion & preference about outdoor space of housing area. And the survey of children's preference was used the 5 Likert scale. The conclusion of this study are as follows : First, generally, the design guidelines of housing area were provided to adult user, but the guidelines for children are limited at play space and park. So, the design guidelines of housing area must be provided by the children's opinion, pointment, and dissatisfaction. Second, children have the definite opinion and can point the preference about the outdoor space of housing area. So, children's opinion can not be bypassed in the process for planning of housing area. So, exiting guideline of the outdoor space of housing area must improve to children.
This research is regarding color-analyzing Italian children's furniture and display space, in which application method of furniture display is looked at by understanding relations of furniture and display space through theoretical consideration and by understanding each factor of composition. Moreover, it establishes a formality of scientific and systematic standard in the color scheme of furniture and display space through using NCS Color System and the related Color Harmony Theory of Ostwald and Faber Birren as analysis tools. In the process of analyzing the colors of furniture and display space, I aimed to comprehend color trend of Italian children's furniture display space by comparing and analyzing Italian children's furniture dealers. I was able to comprehend the color relationship between furniture and display space from the results of analysis of examples of children's furniture display space and analysis of color deviation. Therefore, with this research I suggest the primary data and application strategy from a systematic point of view through Color Harmony Theory in color scheme of children's furniture display space in contemporary Italy.

The aim of this study to present useful information on effective space composition by understanding education process of a preschool for children's education and required interior space for this process. The 6th education process of a preschool as the criteria on this study would be classified into 5 spheres as follows : Health life, Social life, Expression life, Language life. survey life. And the required interior space would largely be classified into interesting sphere and home sphere. As a result of analyzing the space composition, we can draw conclusion as follows : First, the interior spaces for properly doing children's education process have close relations. So, each sphere too independent or too unified is not good. That is to say, each sphere has closely organic connection for enhancing efficiency. Secondly, children's service spaces are considered to in children's education process. And the space had better be made for children only considering their physical states. Finally, we have to in advance process. And the space had better be made for children only considering their physical states. Finally, we have to in advance understand educational aim and program because space composition can be changed according to the aim of education process.

Research was conducted as follows. Based on the spatial function and children's behavior, it figured out a prerequisite of educational environmental colors for behavior affordance. It extracted colors by dividing children's behavior affordance into 8elements considering a psychology of expectation and color function according to spatial and behavior affordance intensification elements. So 97school colors were selected for children's behavior affordance from abstracted colors by each element. Furthermore, it planned to suggest an environmental color guide for establishing elementary school's positive educational circumstances through enhancing behavior affordance, providing a potential to change a color environment at the educational space.
The purpose of this research is to obtain an empirically-based understanding of the attitudes of those children and mothers living in three different housing types : detached houses. row houses / villa and apartments. The subjects are 547 elementary school children in the fourth, fifth and sixth grades and their mothers in four different residential areas, Seoul. Followings are the result of this research. 1) Mothers put the first priority on the convenience of the dwelling space from the educational point of view, and they make complaints about their present dwelling space, in particular, children's play and storage space and the size of children's room. 2) They care a lot about the size of housing and, if the size of the housing is held constant, the mothers living in the apartments have more complain about. 3) The difference in the way children and mothers regard their dwelling space is great. The mothers would like to draw a clear line between rest space and play space. They would like to see their children play in their rooms, but children want to make use of the whole space of their housing for play. 4) Mothers think that the children's rooms should be used primarily for study while children think that their rooms have multiple uses such as studying, resting, and playing.
This study was focused on the new town residential complex in suburban Hefei, China, which was carried out a survey on the present conditions of children's play space. The residential complexes and play spaces in Hefei, regardless of installation, the standards for the installation of play facilities were not provided legally, and the types of installation of the play facilities also were not standardized. For the play space in residential complexes in China to carry out original functions under the condition and become a place of everybody's activities not just for children, the following should be improved:(1) There is no provision and standard for the size of play space, so the standards for installation of play space with safety like Korea, Japan and the US are necessary. (2) The location of the play space should be able to guarantee maximum play activities to children, and the independence of the space should be secured by putting it in a place far from a footpath or pass way. (3) Since children's play space has different properties from those of green space and resting spaces, separate environmental planning is necessary.

Third, It was found that ecological experiencing activities program of children's garden was positively to develop environmental literacy for student. Fourth, It was found that satisfaction of uncommon planting area was very low among planting area and satisfaction of forest interpreters was very low about place of ecological experience learning using five senses. Finally, for effective operation of children's garden, children's garden should be provided planting for environmental education connected with the school curriculum and ecological experiencing activities program to enjoy time with the family.
