어린이도서관의 가치에 관한 연구 - S어린이도서관을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Value of S Children's Library)

  • 본 연구는 서울시 소재의 S 어린이도서관여 제공하는 다양한 서비스가 지역사회 및 지역주민에게 미치는 사회, 문화, 경제적 영향력에 대해서 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 도서관리시스템을 활용한 이용 통계 분석을 하였고, 타도서관 대비 효율성 비교 분석, 그리고 설문지를 통한 이용자 평가에 대한 분석을 시도하였다. 본 연구조사의 결과로 얻어낸 구체적인 수치를 통해 S 어린이도서관의 서비스 수준을 확인하였고, 지역사회에서의 어린이도서관의 역할과 존재적 의미를 파악하였으며, 이용자들의 인식을 통한 S어린이도서관의 지역사회에서의 경제적 기여도에 대한 측정을 함으로써 S어린이도서관의 가치를 구체화하고자 하였다.

신생아-학령전기 대상자의 맞춤형 방문건강관리 기록지 및 모형 개발 (Development of Health Assessment Tools and Tailored Home Visiting Nursing Service Model for Children in Poverty)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop child's health assessment tools and tailored home visiting nursing service model in a community. Methods: Based on the literature review and several types of workshops participated with the child health nursing professors and visiting nurses in public health centers from May to December 2009, the standards of child health assessment tools, service model and education materials for visiting nurses were developed. Results: Some record forms were newly developed, including neonatal assessment, breast feeding, mother-infant interaction, oral care, vaccination and safety, and appropriate developmental screening tests in the community were selected. For systematic health care management in the community, problem list, problem criteria, health care plan, outcome criteria were also developed. Conclusion: On the demand of growing need for health promotion and early intervention for children and their association with parenting and socioeconomic status, assessment and control measures are indispensable to the promotion of child health for vulnerable population. Children's health and developmental problems, and safe circumstances can be assessed using this assessment tools, and can be used for tailored home visiting nursing care for children.

  • 어린이들은 성인에 비해 힘, 상황 인지 능력, 상황 판단 능력 등이 부족하기 때문에 성인 및 관련단체 또는 국가로부터 보호받을 권리를 제공 받아야 한다. 현재 어린이집에서 교사 1명이 관리하는 어린이는 적게는 3명에서 많게는 20명가량 이며 관리해야하는 어린이가 많으면 많을수록 어린이를 모두를 신경 쓴다는 것은 교사 입장에서 매우 어려운 일이 아닐 수 없을 것이다. 특히 개방된 공간에서 이루어지는 원외 활동 시에는 원내의 비해 어린이들의 활동범위가 넓어지고 인솔 교사의 통제에 따르지 않는 어린이가 발생할 수 있기 때문에 교사들의 시각에 의존한 어린이 통제 및 관리는 한계가 존재하게 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 상호통신이 가능한 휴대용 디바이스를 사용하여 어린이와 인솔 교사 간의 위치 또는 간격을 시스템화하여 어린이들에게 안전을 제공하고 보호자 및 교사들에게 편리함을 제공할 수 있도록 IoT 단말기 및 시스템을 설계 및 구현 하였으며 이를 통해 유아의 안전에 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.

보육시설의 영양사 배치를 통한 영양교육 및 효과 평가 (The Effectiveness of Nutrition Education Provided by Dietitians in Child Care Centers)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition education with nutrition services provided by dietitians who were placed in child care facilities from the Korean Dietetic Association. For this, we investigated the levels of nutrition knowledge and dietary intakes of children who attended child-care centers as well as dietary practices of children assessed by their parents. The treatment for children consisted of nutrition education and food service activities that are provided by the dietitian who have 3 to 5 years experience. Nutrition education was implemented during 10 weeks, 20 times, and a total 400 min and it's effectiveness was evaluated by questionnaire. Data were obtained for 123 children aged 4 to 5 years old who attended four child-care centers, one for a control group and 3 for intervention groups. Dietary intakes were investigated by measuring one-serving size and plate waste a of child for one-day dietary records before and after nutrition education. The levels of nutrition knowledge of children improved showing 70.80 points before to 83.45 points after nutrition education (p<0.001). Dietary intakes of the children after nutrition service increased significantly on cooked rice (133.66 g), Kimchi (19.41 g), side dish of meat/fish (48.40 g), and side dish of vegetables (24.88 g). Dietary practices of children after treatment also improved especially 'eat diverse meat, fish, egg, and bean' and 'never leave plate waste'. To summarize, this study pointed out that nutrition service and nutrition education provided by dietitians had influences on increases of the nutrition knowledge, dietary intake, and dietary practices. Therefore, placement of dietitians needs to extend to child care facilities from the 100 persons-over-capacity facility to the 50 persons-over-capacity facility, for providing professional service such as nutrition education and nutrition counseling.

학부모와 어린이급식소 교직원의 전통간식에 대한 인식연구 -대전·충남·세종지역을 중심으로- (A Study on the Recognition of Korean Traditional Snacks of Parents and Teachers at Children's Foodservice Facilities in Daejeon, Chungnam and Sejong)

  • The purpose of this study was to increase the utilization of traditional snacks in the Daejeon, Chungnam and Sejong regions by investigating the awareness of traditional snacks by parents and teachers of Children's foodservice facilities. The survey method was a self-monitored survey, and 576 people (298 parents, 278 teachers) were used for statistical analyses. 66.4% of parents believed that the snacks provided at facilities are nutritious, and that traditional snacks are rich in nutrition but difficult to cook (66.1%). Further, 77% of parents preferred traditional snacks, and 92% thought that traditional snacks should be passed on to future generations and continuously developed. Increasing the number of stores selling traditional snacks (41%) and a generalized awareness of traditional snacks (34%) are needed to expand the use consumption of traditional snacks. For teachers of Children's foodservice facilities, 92.8% said that the number of snacks provided per day was twice, and snacks were made and served more than twice a week (77.7%). The reasons for not making these traditional snacksit more often were the long cooking time (47.1%) and lack of labor (20.5%). There were no differences in the perceptions of traditional snacks among the types of children's foodservice facilities, but the private and public facilities showed a higher usage demand than the family type foodservice facilities for of traditional snack-focused food education programs. In order to increase the utilization of traditional snacks, it is necessary to create programs according to the facility types and to develop traditional snacks to meet the needs of consumers. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for the development of instructions and programs for increasing the consumption of traditional snacks at children's foodservice facilities.

온라인 위생교육프로그램의 지속적 제공이 어린이급식소 위생관리 수행도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Continuous Provision of On-line Hygiene Education Program on Hygiene Management Performance of Children's Cafeterias)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of developing and continuously providing on-line hygiene education programs on the improvement of hygiene conditions in children's cafeterias. As a result of the 2020 sanitation and safety checklist analysis, 6 items (personal hygiene, separate use, clean ventilation, temperature control of refrigerators, country of origin, food distribution) were derived and on-line hygiene education programs for each of 6 items were produced. ① Customized educational materials and self-inspection checklists were provided to 208 children's cafeterias. After that, educational videos were provided through Kakao Talk twice a week for 6 months, and they were made available for viewing at any time through YouTube upload, ③ Kakao Talk Through this, a quiz related to the educational video was conducted to give feedback for interaction with the cook. As a result of analyzing the total hygiene and safety checklist score of all registered facility catering centers by visit order, in 2020 it was 82.8 points/100 points, but in 2021, it was 84.2 points (1st round), 89.3 points (2nd round), 91.4 points (3 points) The score improved significantly (p<0.001) as the on-line hygiene education program continued. As a result, significant (p<0.001) changes were observed in the items of 'Knife, chopping board' and 'Sanitation clothes, sanitary hat, sanitary shoes, apron, and sanitary gloves', confirming a clear improvement effect. Therefore, it is considered that the on-line hygiene education program will play a positive role in showing a lasting effect on improving hygiene management in children's cafeterias.

OECD 국가의 가족정책과 아동 삶의 질의 관계: 퍼지셋 질적비교분석 (The Relationship between Family Policy and Children's Quality of Life among OECD Countries: Fuzzy-Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis)

  • This study aims to clarify the relationship between family policy and children's quality of life through an international comparison and to determine which family policy factors contribute to children's quality of life. The research question is "How can family policies be combined to improve children's quality of life in terms of health and economy?" It includes nine categories of family policies related to money, service, and leave. Measures of children's quality of life include low birth weight, infant mortality, and child poverty. Using the OECD Family Database, and the OECD Child Well-being Data, fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparison Analysis (fsQCA) was used among 20 OECD countries. Combinations of family policies significant to the children's quality of life were derived from the results. This study contributes to the literature by revealing the effectiveness of states' investment in family policy. In addition, the study indicates that since family policies interact with each other, those policies combine to improve children's quality of life.

공공도서관 어린이사서를 위한 문헌정보학 교과과정 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Undergraduate Curriculum Development of Library and Information Science for Children's Librarians)

  • 본 연구는 공공도서관 어린이사서 양성을 위한 문헌정보학 교과과정의 개선 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 어린이사서 양성과 관련된 국내 문헌정보학과 교과과정의 현황을 조사하였다. 또한 어린이사서 대상 설문조사를 통해 사서들의 교육 경험과 향후 문헌정보학 교과과정에 필요한 관련 교과목 및 교과내용에 대한 현장의 요구를 파악하였다. 그 결과를 토대로 어린이사서를 위한 교과목의 개설 방향을 제시한 후, 구체적인 교과과정 모형 안을 제안하였다.

서울 소재 어린이급식관리지원센터 수행 사업에 대한 어린이 급식소의 만족도 분석 - 회원 구분에 따른 비교를 중심으로 - (Satisfaction with Children's Foodservice Facilities about Program at Center for Children's Foodservice Management in Seoul: Difference between Associate Members and Regular Members)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate satisfaction with children's foodservice facilities about program at Center for Children's Foodservice Management (CCFSM) by focusing on differences between associate and regular members. In December 2014, an online survey was conducted at 155 children's foodservice facilities which were enrolled members at CCFSM in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul. The questionnaire included the general characteristics of respondents, satisfaction with CCFSM's services : 'Field consulting', 'Education and training for cook', 'Menu', and 'Newsletter'. The questionnaire was responded by 78 foodservice facilities for children, including 42 regular members (53.8%) and 36 associate members (46.2%). The analysis rate was 50.3% and the majority of respondents were child-care centers (94.9%). As a result, satisfaction with 'Newsletter (4.87 points/5 points)' was the highest while 'Menu (3.95 points)' was the lowest. Satisfaction with 'Education and training for cook' of regular members (4.74 points) was significantly higher than that of associate members (4.41 points). For factors affecting overall satisfaction with CCFSM's service, there was a difference between associate and regular members. Regular members were significantly affected by 'Menu (p<0.001)', and 'Newsletter (p<0.05)'. Associate members were affected by 'Education and training for cook (p<0.05)'. Thus, satisfaction with Menu of CCFSM should be increased. The results of this study show that there was a difference in satisfaction between associate and regular members. Therefore, CCFSM program should be implemented depending on the characteristics of foodservice facilities for children and their needs.

어린이집 교사의 특성과 보육의 질과의 관계 연구 (The Relationship between Caregivers' Characteristic Variables and Quality of Child Care)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between caregivers' characteristic variables and quality of child care and to investigate the magnitude of the association between variables and quality of child care according to children's age. The following factors were suggested as the caregivers' characteristic variables: Total years of caregiving experience, educational level, job satisfaction, amounts of turnover, time for commuting, salary, pay step, years of work in charge of current children, perception on the recommended caregiver/child ratio. The results of the study were as follows : First, it was found that caregivers' salary, total years of caregiving experience, pay step, perception on the recommended caregiver/child ratio, age, and amounts of in-service program were significant among caregivers' variables. Second, when the caregivers' characteristic variables were examined in terms of children's age respectively, the effects of teacher-related variables to influence the child-care quality were significantly different according to children's age group.
