In this paper, an effective control scheme of a single phase UPS inverter is proposed to have no steady state error of the output voltage and the fast response for the load request. The cosine wave tranfer function is proposed to control the output voltage. This controller clearly removes errors of magnitude and phase both in the steady state. On the other hand, a current controller is proposed to reduce the transient time of the voltage control and to improve the bad distorted factor of the output voltage waveform by the load fluctuation and the presences of nonlinear parameters in the plant. The current controller is designed parallel to the voltage controller and performs separately from it.

In this study, the modifications of the interior of bank branches that caused by the banking strategy, as well as customers' behavior, since the financial crisis in the late '90s, are investigated. By selecting and analysing the aspects of remodeling of twelve(12) branches in the Chung-Cheong area, the study finds a certain pattern in the changes as follows: 1) the area of counseling, including 'private banking' is increased while conventional customer service area is substantially decreased. 2) Combined with ATM, high-counter area is functionally separated from low-counter in order to provide more expeditious service. 3) Due to the lack of space of newly furnished 'quick' service area that is located near the entrance of the bank, entering / exiting possibly becomes agitating experience for customers. More accurate estimation of traffic, and appropriate space should be allocated in planning the area.

청송 달기, 신촌약수의 Ca, Mg 등의 풍부한 미네랄 성분을 두부 응고제로 이용하기 위한 기초 연구를 하였다. 비교 응고제로는 많이 사용하고 있는 $CaCl_2,\;CaSO_4,\;MgCl_2,\;MgSO_4$를 이용하였다. 두유 2 mL에 일정량의 약수와 각종 응고제를 첨가하여 $80\;{^{\circ}C}$에서 전체 용액량을 10 mL로 하여 응고한 다음 여과한 상층액인 두부청의 퍼센트 투과도[T(%)]를 600 nm에서 구한 응고력 시험결과, 약수는 8 mL 이 상이 요구되었다. 비교 응고제의 경우 각각 0.4, 1, 0.8, 0.8 mL를 첨가한 경우 양호한 결과를 보였으며, Ca, Mg의 첨가량은 각각 66.14, 232.83와 95.68, 78.88 mg이다. 달기 및 신촌약수를 8 mL를 첨가한 경우 의 T(%) 값이 50.74와 58.52값을 보였으며, 첨가된 미네랄 양으로 볼 때에 Ca, Mg의 합한 양으로 2.41, 2.48 mg에 해당된다. 이 값은 비교 응고제보다 매우 적은 양임을 알 수 있으며, 적은 양에 비하여 상당한 응고력이 있음을 알 수 있다.

The growth mechanism of AMT(Ammonium Meta-Tungstate) crystal was interpreted as two-step model. The contribution of the diffusion step increased with the increase of temperature, crystal size, and supersaturation. The crystal size distribution from a batch cooling crystallizer was predicted by the numerical solution of a mathematical model which uses the kinetics of nucleation and crystal growth. Temperature control of a batch crystallizer was studied using Learning control algorithm. The purity of AMT crystal producted in this investigation was above 99.99%.

We showed the result that an appreciable difference of secondary structures in the intracrystlline protein was observed between Normal and Deform shells. In order to understand the exact secondary structure of proteins, we investigated the changes in protein conformation from the specific layers via Fourier Self-Deconvolution(FSD) techniques, using ATR(Attenuated Total Reflection) information.

There are some papers on structure theorems for the spaces of matrices over certain semirings. Beasley, Gregory and Pullman [1] obtained characterizations of semiring rank 1 matrices over certain semirings of the nonnegative reals. Beasley and Pullman [2] also obtained the structure theorems of Boolean rank 1 spaces. Since the semiring rank of a matrix differs from the column rank of it in general, we consider a structure theorem for semiring rank in [1] in view of column rank.

The galvanic currents between carbon steel and Cr-bearing rebars have been studied in concrete subjected to carbonation and chloride attack. The results revealed that in case of SD345 contacted with Cr-bearing rebar in concrete under chloride attack environment and carbonation environment, the corrosion acceleration by galvanic corrosion is not generated. Therefore, Cr-bearing rebar can be used together with the carbon steel in the new establishment structure.

In winter, a large amount of de-icing salts such as $CaCl_2$, NaCl have been used on highways for road safety. They make concrete structures deteriorated. In this study, the chloride diffusion of concrete in presence of de-icing salt was investigated. The diffusion coefficient of chloride in presence of $CaCl_2$ solution was larger than in presence of NaCl solution. Therefore, it is necessary to assess chloride profile in presence of $CaCl_2$ by different way from the case in presence of NaCl solution or seawater.
