So far, the Taguchi Method has dealt with multiple quality characteristics under the assumption that they are independent. Since the relationships between quality characteristics are practically important, this study proposes a new performance measure considering the correlation among characteristics. In this paper, we impose weight on each characteristic and correlation among characteristics. The loss function of multiple characteristics is defined in accordance with combination of simple characteristic types, and it is divided into terms of loss that characteristic itself and the correlation among characteristics cause. And the proposed method uses the expected loss of multiple characteristics as the new performance measure. The data in literature are used to compare with the existing performance measures.

The purpose of this study was; 1) to describe consumer preferences for wood~framed housing; 2) to determine factors which affect the preferences for housing environments in wood-framed housing by demographic, current housing, and wood-framed housing-related characteristics; and 3) to identify differences in preferred wood-framed housing related characteristics by demographic and current housing characteristics. From the visitors to a model wood-framed house in Seoul, Korea, 296 persons willing to live in a wood-framed house were selected as the sample for the study. Data were collected using a self-administered survey and analyzed by frequency distribution, factor analysis, chi-square test, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance procedures. The results of the study Indicated that among seven factors based on 32 housing characteristics, Factor 2 - "floor plan and Interior environment" was the major variable which showed significant difference by selected demographic characteristics. Regarding the differences in wood-framed housing related characteristics by demographic characteristics, age, gender, education, and family life cycle showed group differences. Also, housing type was the major current housing characteristic to provide significant group difference in preferred wood-framed housing characteristics.

In this study, characteristics of LPB having gold anode fabricated by sputtering methode were analyzed. As results, The 1st efficiency and the impedance characteristics of LPB decreased with increased gold coated on anode and current collector. But the rate characteristics and charge-discharge cycling characteristics increased with increased gold coated on anode and current collector. During 2C discharge of the rate characteristics test, the rate characteristics of LPB without gold coated and the rate characteristics of LPB with gold coated in twice were 159mAh/g and 189mAh/g, respectively. The discharge capacity was gradually degreased with the discharge cycling to about 20th cycles. But LPB with gold coated in twice was stabilized than LPB without gold coated.

The durability of ballast plays an important role in track behaviour. To estimate the deterioration characteristics of ballast, several tests have been carried out by several scholars. The deterioration characteristics is very important factor in the behaviour of track and its life. In this paper, abrasion/breakage characteristics of ballast is studied to see the effect of physical ballast characteristics on ballast life. To reveal breakage characteristics of ballast, the ballast box test and the MTT field test were carried out. The breakage characteristics studied in this paper is applied to the ballast life prediction in various conditions, such as LA abrasion, annual tonnage, tamping number per year, etc

This research was intended to investigate how risk perception and risk reduction behavior by consumers differ according to different product characteristics of clothing. The responses of 318 female college students living in Seoul and surrounding vicinities were collected and analyzed. Inner wear, blue-jean pants, coat were selected as representing each clothing product characteristics. Frequencies distribution, regression and correlation coefficient were utilized for statistical analysis. Results are as follows. 1. The type of perceived risk and risk reduction behavior differed according to product characteristics of clothing. Physical and performance risk were more highly perceived for the purchase of innerwear. However, for the purchase of jean pants and coat, socio-psycho-logical and economic risk were also perceived highly because the rate of fashion change, social symbolism, and coordination with other clothing items become more important characteristics. To reduce perceived risk, dependency on past purchase experiences and shop-ping were mostly preferred method regardless of product characteristics of clothing. 2. Risk type as determinant variables for predicting overall risk differed according to product characteristics of clothing. But fashionability and usefulness were common determinant risk variables, which identifies typical characteristics of clothing product.

The purpose of this research was to study the influence of machining characteristics for aluminum alloys. The effect of metallic microstructural variables on the measures of machinability of aluminum alloys has no been adequately investigated. Machining Characteristics are influenced significantly by mechanical characteristics, composition and structure of material etcs. For improvement of machining characteristics, various studies are reported. In this paper, composition elements add to aluminum alloys within the limit of sustaining mechanical characteristics of metallic material. We have analyzed dynamic characteristics of cutting resistance, tensile strength value, hardness value etcs.

The major objective of this study is to investigate the dynamic behaviors of track due to the deterioration characteristics of ballast for servicing tracks by the field test. The durability of ballast plays an important role in the track behaviour. To estimate the deterioration characteristics of ballast, several tests have been carried out by several shcolars. The deterioration characteristics of ballast is one of the most important factor in the dynamic behaviour of track and its life. In this paper abrasion/breakage characteristics of ballast is studied to predict the effect of physical ballast characteristics on ballast track. To reveal deterioration characteristics of ballast, the field test were carried out. The deterioration characteristics, studied in this paper, is applied to the dynamic behaviour of track in various conditions.

이미지 센서와 렌즈를 모듈 상에 고정할 때, 기계적인 오차로 인해 취득된 영상의 기울임 또는 회전이 발생하기도 하고 화각이 좁아지기도 한다. 따라서 테스트 장비에서 이미지 센서 모듈의 광학적 특성을 테스트하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이미지 센서 모듈의 광학적 특성을 테스트하는 방법을 설명하고, 이를 영상 취득 특성과 유사한 방식으로 표준화한 기술 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 테스트 장비가 영상 취득 특성과 광학적 특성을 함께 테스트하는데 도움이 된다.

In this study, the general characteristics, and theories of cochlear concerning with hearing are examined. Also the digital method is studied in order to analyze with microcomputer on the model equation of basiliar membrane in the cochlear derived from 3-dimensional rectangular block model which is studied by Boer. The method is illustrated for the amplitude characteristics of basiliar momtrane wave velocity. The results obtained are as follows; 1. In the magnitude characteristics, the velocity gradually increases from the stapes, shows the maximum magnitude, and then rapidly decreases to the Helicotrema. 2. The characteristics of 3-dimensional model is located between 1-and 2- dimensional models in the velocity characteristics coefficients, magnitude characteristics, and the pattern of 2-dimensional model shoves the different features from the 1-dimensional and 3-dimensional rectangular block model. 3. In the 3-dimensional rectangular block model, the characteristics of the waveform and the maximum resonant point are same whether Z(X) is linear or nonlinear.

The purpose of this study was to examine: (1) relationships among mothers' attachment experience in childhood, mothers' personality characteristics, and parenting stress and parenting behavior; (2) whether mothers' personality characteristics mediate the relationship between mothers' attachment experience in childhood and parenting stress; and (3) whether mothers' personality characteristics mediate the relationship between mothers' attachment experience in childhood and parenting behavior. The subjects were 177 mothers with preschool children, and the data were collected with questionnaires. It was found that there are correlations among mothers' attachment experience in childhood, mothers' personality characteristics, parenting stress, and parenting behaviors(autonomy encouragement, and rejection). It was found that mothers' attachment experience in childhood predicts mothers' parenting stress, but the relationship is mediated by mothers' personality characteristics. It was also found that mothers' attachment experience in childhood predicts mothers' parenting behavior, but the relationship is mediated by mothers' personality characteristics.
