Vegetable Oil Esters에 따른 Offset 잉크의 물성 변화에 관한 연구 (The Variation of Offset Ink Properties according to the Vegetable Oil Estersr)

  • According as gradually increasing the demand for eco-friendly at the printing process, it has been progressed fairly development. Especially, the inks are used by soy oil beginning of ink industry for preventing environment, it is possible to make eco-friendly inks with vegetable ester. So it is not necessary to use petroleum-based solvents at all for preventing environment. These eco-friendly inks have a benefits they are able to use the renewable resource. But basically vegetable oils have that reduce the VOC(Volatile Organic Compound) and high viscosity, high solubility properties. So if the vegetable oils use in the ink, set off problem occur on the paper because of slow drying time. In case of vegetable ester, it has similar the molecular weight and kinetic viscosity with hydrocarbon solvent, it is able to control the power of dilution about the resin. So, it has benefit that solve the problem of the existing eco-friendly inks. In this study, different types of ester were made by six types of vegetable oils and used ester in the varnishes and inks properties are comparison with hydrocarbon solvent based ink. By considering the intrinsic properties of vegetable oil, ester used to analyze the changes in ink properties, using ester varnish is applied to study the rheology characteristics and emulsification with inks.

무용제형 저기포성 정련제의 제조 및 정련특성 (Preparation of Solvent-Free Low Foaming Scouring Agents and Their Scouring Characteristics)

  • Solvent-free low foaming scouring agents (LFSC) were prepared by blending of 2-ethylhexylaminoethyl sulfate (2-EHAS), POE(10) octadecylbenzyl- ammonium chloride (POBAC) and Sedlan FF-200 (FF-200). As the results of several tests, 2-EHAS/POBAC/FF-200/water (8g/12g/20g/60g) mixture (LFSC-5) showed good cleaning power, penetrating ability and stability to alkali, and gave less problem in water pollution. The foaming power of LFSC-5 measured by Ross and Miles method was 8mm foam height immediately after foaming, and that measured by Ross and Clark method was less than 300mm foam height at $30^{\circ}C$, and 18mm at $80^{\circ}C$. As a result, LFSC-5 proved a good low foaming scouring agent for fiber.

Dioxane을 용매로 한 PVC-LMO 비드의 제조와 Li+ 흡착특성 (Preparation of PVC-LMO Bead with Dioxane Solvent and Adsorptive Properties of Lithium Ions)

  • In this study, PVC-LMO beads were prepared by immobilizing lithium manganese oxide (LMO) with poly vinyl chloride (PVC) diluted in dioxane solvent. XRD and SEM analysis confirmed that LMO was immobilized well in PVC-LMO beads. The diameter of PVC-LMO beads prepared by dioxane solvent was about 2 mm. The adsorption experiments of lithium ions by PVC-LMO beads were conducted batchwise. The optimum pH was pH 10. The adsorption characteristics of lithium ions by PVC-LMO beads was well described by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model. The maximum adsorption capacity obtained from Langmuir model was 24.25 mg/g. The thermodynamic parameters such as ${\Delta}H^{\circ}$, ${\Delta}S^{\circ}$ and ${\Delta}G^{\circ}$ were evaluated. The calculated ${\Delta}G^{\circ}$ was between -6.16 and -4.14 kJ/mol (below zero), indicating the spontaneous nature of $Li^+$ adsorption on PVC-LMO beads. Also, the results showed that PVC-LMO beads prepared in this study could be used for the removal of lithium ions from seawater containing coexisting ions such as $Na^+$, $K^+$, $Mg^{2+}$ and $Ca^{2+}$.

  • For commercialization of fuel cell electric vehicles, one of the key objectives is to reduce cost of full stack assembly. Regarding Membrane Electrode Assembly, the major issue is to improve fuel cell activation process in the initial Hydrogen Oxidation Reaction and Oxygen Reduction Reaction. In this research, the VD (Vacuum Drying) process has been developed for improvement of activation process. The VD condition is developed by controlling the temperature and degree of vacuum to remove the remaining solvent of electrode. Consequently, the electrode applied to VD process showed the low characteristics such as 3.5% of remaining solvent content and the improved efficiency such as 15% of activation process speed.

  • 본 연구에서는 용해도가 낮은 용매에 dipping하는 방법을 이용하여 고분자 반도체 박막의 분자규칙도를 쉽게 향상시켰다. Poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT)의 구조적, 광학적, 전기적 특성은 dipping 용매의 용해도와 dipping 시간에 따라 크게 영향을 받았다. 특히 methylene chloride 용매에 P3HT 박막을 dipping한 뒤 dipping 시간을 조절하여 고분자 박막의 분자규칙도를 효과적으로 증가시켰다. 분자규칙도와 전기적 특성의 관계를 고려하여 적절한 용매선택과 dipping 시간을 최적화할 수 있었다.

초음파와 대두유 용매를 이용한 감 껍질 추출물의 이화학적 특성 (Physicochemical characteristics of carotenoid-enriched extract prepared from persimmon peels by ultrasound-assisted extraction with soybean oil solvent)

  • 초음파와 대두유 용매를 병용하여 감 껍질 유래 카로티노이드 함유 대두유를 제조하고 그의 이화학적 특성을 파악하기 위하여, Box-Behnken design과 반응표면분석법을 이용하여 추출물의 카로티노이드 농도 기준 최적 추출조건(온도 62℃, 시간 32 min, 대두유/감 껍질 비율 3.1)을 결정하였고, 이 조건에서 얻은 추출물(카로티노이드 강화 대두유)과 무처리 대두유(control)의 이화학적 특성을 비교하였다. 추출물의 총카로티노이드 함량은 강화되었고, 이러한 카로티노이드 강화 대두유의 색도는 대조구보다 명도는 낮았지만 높은 적색도와 황색도값을 보였다. 대두유의 산화 및 가열 안정성에 대한 초음파 처리와 감 껍질 유래 카로티노이드의 영향은 미미한 것으로 나타났다. 카로티노이드 강화 대두유의 점도와 활성화 에너지는 대조구보다 약간 높았다. 이로써 감 껍질에 초음파-대두유 용매 추출법을 적용하여 황적색의 카로티노이드 강화 대두유의 제조가 가능하였고, 이는 일반 유지 대체제는 물론 첨가물로서도 활용성이 높을 것으로 기대된다.

용매에 따른 MWNT의 분산특성과 제조된 PU/MWNT 필름의 전기적·물리적 특성 분석 (Analysis of Electrical and Physical Property of the PU/MWNT Film and Dispersion Characteristics of MWNT According to the Solvent)

  • This paper surveys the physical properties of the MWNT dispersion solution dispersed with the three types of solvents and of the polyurethane composite film for improvement of mechanical properties and electrical characteristics of PU/MWNT composite film. For this purpose, the MWNT dispersed solution was mixed with three types of solvent such as IPA, MEK and Toluene and then mixed with polyurethane (100part) with variation of loading content (0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 part) of MWNT dispersed solution in the ultrasonic wave dispersion apparatus. And eighteen PU/MWNT composite films were prepared as specimens. The various physical properties of these PU/MWNT films were measured and discussed with the loading content of three types of MWNT dispersed solutions. The highest absorbancy among the three types of dispersed solutions was shown in the IPA/MWNT solution. But the absorbancy of PU/MWNT films was not same as the solution. The low electrical surface and volume resistivity of PU/MWNT film were shown at the condition of 20 and 10 parts loading of IPA/MWNT dispersed solution, respectively. The low triboelectricity of PU/MWNT film was shown at the condition of above 30part loading of IPA/MWNT dispersed solution. The breaking strength and strain of PU/MWNT film prepared with IPA/MWNT dispersed solution were decreased with increasing loading content of IPA/MWNT from 10 to 40 parts. The maximum breaking strength and breaking strain according to the dispersion solution were shown on the IPA/MWNT dispersed solution. The uniform dispersion of PU/MWNT film according to the loading content of MWNT solution was shown by surface image analysis on the films dispersed with IPA.

병풀 품종별 품질 특성 및 추출 용매별 항산화 활성 (Quality Characteristics of Centella asiatica Species and Antioxidant Activities of Solvent Extracts)

  • Centella asiatica (CA) is a vegetable that has been used for medicinal purposes for a long time, but it is not well known in Korea. In this study, the approximate analysis, physicochemical properties, free sugars, free amino acids and minerals of native and improved CA cultivated in Chungju area were measured. And the antioxidant contents and activities of CA solvent extracts were measured. There was no significant difference between native and improved species. As for the characteristics of CA, it was confirmed that the improved species had a large weight, size and a tough texture. Glucose was detected in native CA, fructose, glucose and sucrose were detected in improved species. A total of 15 free amino acids were detected and the content was slightly higher in improved species than in native species. The mineral content in CA was slightly higher in the improved species, and the detected minerals were Na, P, Ca, K, Mg and Fe. Polyphenols, ascorbic acid and flavonoids in each extraction solvent (water, 70% and 100% ethanol) were all higher in the improved species than in native species. And it was found that the antioxidant activities of ethanol extracts were higher than that of water.

  • 본 연구에서는 에너지 밀도가 큰 초고용량 캐패시터를 제작하기 위한 기초 연구로서 활성탄소섬유의 물성과 유기 전해질의 특성이 초고용량 캐패시터의 전기화학적 특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 유기성 전해질의 경우는 이온의 크기가 수용성 전해질 보다 훨씬 크기 때문에 탄소전극의 세공크기에 많은 영향을 받으며, 용량을 발현할 수 있는 유효세공의 크기가 커야 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 혼합용매를 이용한 전해액의 조성은 큰 비축전용량과 빠른 충전속도, 그리고 낮은 ESR 및 방전전류의 세기에 대한 높은 비축전용량 유지성 등의 우수한 충방전 특성을 나타내는 것을 알 수 있었고, 전해질의 높은 이온전도도가 용량발현 및 자가방전 특성에 큰기여를 하고 있으며, 전해질 이온의 크기는 충전속도에 많은 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 리튬이온 2차전지는 현재 많은 수요와 공급이 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 리튬이온전지의 전해질 유기용매로 사용되는 EC(Ethylene Carbonate)의 연소특성치 연구를 통해 이를 취급하는 공정의 안전성 확보를 목적으로 한다. 밀폐식 장치인 Setaflash와 Pensky-Martens에 의한 EC의 인화점은 141 ℃와 143 ℃, 개방식 장치인 Tag와 Cleveland는 각각 152 ℃와 156 ℃로 측정되었으며 AIT(Auto Ignition Temperature)는 420 ℃로 측정되었다. Setaflash에서 측정된 인화점에 의한 LEL(Lower Explosive Limit) 은 3.6 Vol.%로 계산되었다.
