When people write a character with a pen stably, proper compliance planning is necessary. In this paper, after investigating the property of character writing task, we propose a fundamental grasp model for character writing and also analyze compliance characteristics for effective character writing using multi-fingered hands. For this, the general stiffness relation of multi-fingered hand is firstly described. Next, we investigate the grasp configurations for grasping a pen and then, we analyze the conditions of the specified stiffness matrix in the operational space to successfully and more effectively achieve the given character writing task. Through the analysis, an effective grasp modeling for successful character writing is shown. And also, we conclude that the operational compliance characteristics should be properly planned for character writing, stably and precisely.

A commonly held view in studies of character displacement is that character states of both species are shifted in areas of sympatry. This view has been confirmed in an overwhelming number of cases for ecological character displacement. Excluding species pairs in which one of the two interacting species is found only within the distribution of the other species and species displaying gynogenesis, the pattern of reproductive character displacement is asymmetrical in that the shift in character states between areas of symaptry and allopatry occurs in only one of the two interacting species. Hypotheses for the reasons behind this asymmetry in reproductive character displacement include (1) homogenization by gene flow, (2) other mechanisms of reproductive isolation, and (3) sufficient reproductive isolation being provided by one of the interacting species exhibiting a pattern of reproductive character displacement. Because reproductive isolation can be achieved by divergence at any point in a sequence of premating reproductive behaviors and postmating developments, it is necessary to understand the mechanisms of reproductive isolation of two interacting taxa in areas of sympatry and allopatry and to analyze the relative contributions of potential factors to reproductive isolation to disentangle hypotheses for the patterns of asymmetry.

The purpose of this study was to develop the character index instrument for engineering college students. For this, literature review and survey were used. The survey was conducted with 275 engineering college students in D university. Finally, draft of character index instrument for engineering college students was developed with 10 factors and 47 questions. Based on the results, the investigation of engineering college students' needs is necessary to conduct for developing character education programs. And it is necessary to research validity of the draft of character index instrument for engineering college students. It is necessary to develop various convergence subjects by experiencing the character substantially for engineering college students.

This research demonstrates a clear visual outline of character influence-relations in creating Jungian character archetypes in films using R computational technology. It contributes to the integration of Jungian analytical psychology into film studies by revealing character network relations in film. This paper handles character archetypes and their influence on developing other character archetypes in films in regards to network analysis drawn from Lynn Schmidt's analysis of 45 master characters in films. Additionally, this paper conducts a character network analysis visualization experiment using R open-source software to create an easily reproducible tutorial for scholars in humanities. This research is a pioneering work that could trigger the academic communities in humanities to actively adopt data science in their research and education.

This paper presents a typographical analyses and classes. Typographical analysis is an indispensable tool for machine-printed character recognition in English. This analysis is a preliminary step for character segmentation in OCR(Optical Character Recognition). This paper is divided into two parts. In the first part, word typographical classes from words are defined by the word typographical analysis. In the second part, character typographical classes from connected components are defined by the character typographical analysis. The character typographical classes are used in the character segmentation.

is a service providing story synopses that match user's query. This paper presents a classification of character types by clustering of character tendencies found in the user log of . We also present a visualization method of showing genre-action relationships to each character type, and investigate the genre-action relationships of the major character types. We found that a small number of character types can represent more than half of the character tendencies and the character types tend to have a relationship to particular genres and actions. According to this properties, it would be desirable to provide supports for creative writing classified by character types.

A number of studies have emphasized the importance and values of reading in character education. However, there is no tool or framework for developing character education program. If teacher librarian to develop a character education program by reading should be preceded the framework for a comprehensive and systematic approach. The framework for character education program by reading is required to develop a program. The framework must be considered with a character factor and reading elements. The purpose of this study is to establish a framework that will help teacher librarian to develop a character education program by reading. This study analyzed on construction elements of character, reading material for character education, reading strategies, teaching methods. Then, this study propose a framework for developing character education program based on the analysis information. This study aims to theoretically and empirically establish the characteristics and component factors of creativity character of college students. Putting together preceding researches related to the concept and structure of creativity character through the theoretical approach, the in-depth interview and open survey were conducted targeting 70 specialists in education, education engineering, consultation meeting, and researchers' meeting about creativity character of college students. In the results, as creativity character for college students, creativity was classified into cognitive creativity and affective creativity while character was classified into moral character, social character, and emotional character. Especially, the creativity character of college students emphasized the importance of character more than creativity. Through such results, it aims to suggest a new perspective on creativity character of college students, and moreover to provide basic data to set up the research direction to develop a tool to measure creativity character of college students for follow-up researches. Also, it is considered to establish the theoretical, empirical foundation contributing to the establishment of teaching-learning method and education engineering qualitatively enhanced in the site of college.

This study discusses about virtues and character of good parents for the rearing of children through the written by Lee, Deok-Moo treating traditional education in late Chosun Dynasty. The study is conducted by answering the two questions for inquiry. First, what is the virtues and character of parents discussed in ? Second, what is the modern meaning of character of the parents? Father's character is expressed as 'stability and warmth', 'trust and moderation' and 'understanding and consideration'. And Mother's character includes 'politeness and harmony', 'responsibility' and 'understanding and consideration'. These results present three important implications from a modern perspective. First, children inherit character and virtues of parents through visual learning. Second, character and virtues of parents are expressed as language and behavior. Third, it is emphasized as ethics of family. Fourth, it is closely linked to the core virtues of character within the [Character Education Promotion Law]. Therefore, parents need to do self-reflection and effort to improve their own characters for character education of next generation.

This paper proposed an efficient game character design method through semiotic analysis of character. It inquired into the characteristics of game character of various contents characters, added the concept of "Iconic abstraction" of Scott McCloud to its characteristics, and studied on the relation between the character and the semiotics. The semiotic character from the factual character, seized the strong and weak point of each character, and divided them in the designer's character production process and gamer's character recognition process step by step for its semiotic interpretation. As a result, two processes were reversely progressed, and the character designing process considering this gamer's semiotic recognition process is expected to be the efficient character design element that can deliver the whole characteristics of game contents.
