The need for standard endovascular neurosurgical (ENS) training programs and certification in Korea cannot be overlooked due to the increasing number of ENS specialists and the expanding ENS field. The Society of Korean Endovascular Neurosurgeons (SKEN) Certification Committee has prepared training programs and certification since 2010, and the first certificates were issued in 2013. A task force team (TFT) was organized in August 2010 to develop training programs and certification. TFT members researched programs and systems in other countries to develop a program that best suited Korea. After 2 years, a rough draft of the ENS training and certification regulations were prepared, and the standard training program title was decided. The SKEN Certification Committee made an official announcement about the certification program in March 2013. The final certification regulations comprised three major parts: certified endovascular neurosurgeons (EN), certified ENS institutions, and certified ENS training institutions. Applications have been evaluated and the results were announced in June 2013 as follows: 126 members received EN certification and 55 hospitals became ENS-certified institutions. The SKEN has established standard ENS training programs together with a certification system, and it is expected that they will advance the field of ENS to enhance public health and safety in Korea.

온실가스 에너지 목표관리제 시행에 따라 대상기업 및 사업장에서는 온실가스 배출량 및 에너지 사용량 명세서, 목표관리 이행계획서 및 실적(온실가스 감축 잠재량 실적의 검증) 보고서 작성 등 당면과제가 놓여 있다. 따라서 관련 컨설팅 기업들이 대상기업의 감축목표를 달성하기 위하여 온실가스 감축시스템을 구축하고 실행하도록 유도하기 위한 방안의 하나로 우수기업 지정제와 같은 제도의 도입이 요청되고 있다. 본고에서는 온실가스 감축컨설팅 우수기업 지정에 관한 방안이 원활하게 시행되기 위한 제도화 방안으로 지정대상, 평가절차, 평가기준의 설정 및 평가기관의 평가위원회 구성 등 대안을 제시하였다.

Committee for pediatric subspecialty board certification of the Korean Pediatric Society (KPA) was established for the subspecialty certification and formal training programs in 2005. Pediatric allergy and pulmonology was the first pediatric subspecialty among 9 subdivisions of KPA to petition for the certification in 2006, and 7 additional subdivisions of KPA, pediatric cardiology, pediatric endocrinology, pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition, pediatric infectious diseases, neonatology, pediatric nephrology, pediatric neurology, respectively, were followed in 2007. Finally, pediatric hemato-oncology joined this program in 2008. An overview and the future of Korean pediatric subspecialties are described.

Issuance of certification and licensing for toxicologists authorized by the Japanese Society of Thxicology (JST) became effective on July 24, 1997. The certification system consists of examination, eligibility requirements for the applicants, authorization/license by the board of trustees of JST, and the re-certification of previously authorized qualification. In the last 2-3 years, about 30-40% of candidates for the examination have succeeded. The Committee has estimated that the level of the examination would be sufficient to determine qualified toxicologists. This updated status and a detailed explanation are to be presented at the workshop. In global terms, the JST special committee agrees that "harmonization of certification/registration procedure for qualified toxicologists means to ensure/set the minimum requirement for the global authorization of qualified toxicologists". The following items in global authorization are ad-dressed for further discussion: (1) What's the benefit\ulcorner (2) Toxicological safety assessment standards, and (3) the JST position for authorization.orization.

Half a century has passed since the academic field of library and information science, which was born at the end of the 19th Century in the Western world, was introduced to Korea. Despite years of quantitative growth and qualitative maturation, the field has been facing the inconvenient truths of discrepancies in education levels arising from varying education providers, and weakened public confidence in librarian certification. Based on analysis of librarian training and education programs and the certification system, this research seeks to point out the limitations of the national librarian certification system, which is losing public confidence, and present a model for improvement. Library and information science education has expanded from universities to the academy of librarian education and lifelong education centers, and the librarian certification system has emerged as a target of reform. This research presents measures to improve the librarian certification system to government bodies and the Committee on Library and Information Policy with the purpose of providing grounds for policy enforcement.

이 연구는 신변보호사 자격제도의 발전을 위하여 그 동안 실증적으로 연구되어지지 않았던 신변보호사 자격시험 응시자들을 대상으로 신변보호사 자격시험 응시 중 자격제도에 대하여 갖고 있던 인식을 조사한 연구이다. 이를 통하여 신변보호사 자격시험에서 나타난 제 문제들을 질적분석 방법을 이용하여 파악하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신변보호사 실기평가위원의 기술평가 능력 향상 모색이다. 둘째, 영상판독 시스템의 도입이다. 셋째, 모든 자격시험 점수 및 이의제청 내용 공개화이다.

The Green Building Certification is issued through self-assessment of applicant, assessment of assessment members and deliberation committee members. These assessments are carried out based on a standard provided Ministry of land transport and maritime affairs and environment. However, opinion difference of assessment standards could be occurred due to diversity of understanding for a standard or subjectivity of committee member. In this paper, We discussed the primary cause of score difference after analyzed assessment standard for the site, transportation, energy and resources, ecological environment, indoor environment in five different Apartment Houses located in Seoul. At a result, score difference was at least 3 points in each section except indoor environment and total score difference of housing complex is by 10 points. To improve these problems, educational program should be activated and guide for assessment standard should be published.

Among the Barrier Free (BF) certification evaluation items for public facilities, at which position the standard for the effective height of the stair railing handle should be calculated is not clearly determined. Because of this, not only the evaluation standards of the certification authority and the evaluation committee are different, but disputes are occurring between the ordering organization, the design company, and the construction company. Therefore, the stair railing installation standard laws for public facilities were analyzed and through a case study of institutions that obtained the BF certification, problems were analyzed. The results of problem analysis reveal the following. 1) The standards of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport were different. 2) The effective height calculation standard was ambiguous, and disputes occurred frequently. To solve this problem, we proposed improvement plans for calculating the height of the stair railing that can comply with laws while ensuring safety.

민간경비가 도입된 지 60여년이 지난 현재 민간경비와 관련된 국가공인 자격으로는 경비지도사와 신변보호사 자격제도가 있다. 본 연구에서는 2013년도부터 국가공인자격으로 실시 되어오고 있는 신변보호사 자격검정 사항 중에서 2차 실기시험제도의 문제점에 대하여 논의하였다. 현행 신변보호사 자격검정은 1차 학과시험과 2차 실기시험으로 분류하여 실시하고 있는 가운데 신변보호사의 자격 검증을 엄격히 하여 응시자에 대한 만족도와 대중의 신뢰도를 높여가야할 시기에 봉착하였다고 판단되어 신변보호사 실기시험제도의 문제점에 대한 개선방안을 다음과 같이 제시하였다. 첫째, 현재 단순하고 비교적 기초적인 실기시험 평가 항목의 난이도를 다양화 하여 구분하는 것이 필요하다. 둘째, 현재 실기시험 평가기술은 합기도의 기술분야에 치우쳐 있다고 볼 수 있어 각 무도분야의 실질적 활용가능성이 높은 기술을 복합적으로 접목시켜 다양화 하는 것이 필요하다. 셋째, 현재 일반화 되지 않은 실기시험 평가위원제도를 전문화된 실기시험 평가위원으로 선정할 수 있도록 기준안 마련이 필요하다. 넷째, 현재 실기시험 평가위원과 응시자의 관계에 있어 지인인 경우가 많아 객관성확보차원에서 제척제도를 신설하는 것이 필요하다. 이와 같이 신변보호사 자격검정 실기시험제도의 전문성을 고양시켜나가기 위해 관련기관의 제도적 개선이 시급히 이루어져야 할 것이다.
