광물성 한약재 세라믹 조성 및 세라믹 침적 청정활성수 특성에 대한 연구 (Study on the production of the ceramic by the mineral-Oriental medicine and the property of the clean active water depositting on the ceramic stone)

  • We studied on the production of the ceramic by the mineral-Oriental medicine and the property of the clean active water depositting on the ceramic stone. The results are as follows: We properly mixed of maifanshi, mica, ochre, and added to a small amount cinnabar, and therefore formed the ceramic stone. By the plasticity process and the irradiating magnetic force recovered the disappeared a part of constitutent elements. The recovered effects were become higher the freshness, maintenance, deodoriztion, clean water. As well as having the ability on capture of the notoxious heavy metal on human. The ceramic powder were mixed proper dose maifanshi, mica. And the powder had ionization, absorption, adhesion by the plasticity process and magnetic force. The clean active water of depositting on the ceramic stone during 24hours were observed significant the content of micro element, dissolved oxygen, abstraction on Herbs.

치과 CAD/CAM용 Nano Hybrid Ceranic 소재를 이용한 심미 치과보철물의 제작 (A Making of Aesthetic Dental restorations with Nano Hybrid Ceramic material by CAD/CAM System)

  • 전통적인 Metal-ceramic 보철 제작 방식으로부터 All-ceramic 보철에 이르기까지 최근 신소재 개발에 영향을 주는 가장 큰 요인은 심미적인 욕구일 것이다. 우리가 사용하는 각각의 치과용 수복 재료는 재료 별로 강도, 인성, 기계 가공의 효율성 및 사용에 필요한 다양한 과정을 기반으로 임상에서 다양하게 사용되고 있다. 예를 들어 Glass ceramic과 같은 단일 소재의 경우 약한 물성을 고려하여 주로 싱글 크라운과 같은 간단한 보철에 사용하고 있으며 상대적으로 높은 파괴 인성을 가진 지르코니아 재료의 경우 싱글 크라운은 물론 브릿지의 제작에도 널리 사용하고 있다. 하지만 지르코니아 재료는 제작 과정에서 긴 Sintering 시간을 필요로 하므로 Chair side에서 빠른 보철물 제작에 쉽지 않은 부분이 있으며 주로 Lab. side에서 사용하고 있다. CAD / CAM 시스템을 이용하여 보철물을 제작하는 용도로 개발 된 Hybrid ceramic 소재는 Resin Nano Hybrid Ceramic이라고도 하며, 개선 된 물성을 포함한 나노 세라믹 요소를 기반으로 하고 있다. 이러한 특징들은 심미적이며 기능적인 보철물의 제작이 용이한 과정과 결과를 보이고 있으며 동시에 향상된 내구성을 바탕으로 보철물의 제작 과정에 유리한 조건들을 가지고 있다. 새로운 Nano Hybrid Ceramic 재료는 Composite Resin과 Glass ceramic과 같은 단일 소재들이 가진 장점들을 이용하여 술자들의 요구사항을 바탕으로 오랜 연구를 통해 개발된 치과 수복 아이템이며 Nano ceramic filler가 혼합된 구조로 되어있어 치과 수복용 복합소재로서 널리 사용하고 있다. 또한 Nano Hybrid Ceramic소재는 Composite resin의 가공 과정에서 쉽게 파절되지 않는 개선된 물성과 Glass ceramic이 가진 심미성 동시에 포함하고 있는 것이 특징이다. 따라서 Chair side와 Lab. side에서 CAD/CAM 시스템을 이용하여 보철물을 제작할 때 임상적용이 쉽고 유용한 장점을 가지고 있어 추가적인 연구가 필요하다.

활성금속 브레이징을 사용한 세라믹과 금속의 접합 (Joining of Ceramic and Metal using Active Metal Brazing)

  • Active brazing of ceramic to metal is reviewed in this paper. As one of the key aspect in joint techniques, active brazing has been developed to simplify the manufacturing procedure of brazed joints between ceramic and metal. The active filler metal includes Ag-Cu-Ti series, Cu-Ti series, Co-Ti series and so on. The active filler metal which supplies the chemical bonds between ceramic and metal, enhances the wetting of filler metal on ceramic surface and eliminates the need for metallization treatments. The residual stress caused by difference of coefficient of thermal expansion between ceramic and metal, holds a direct influence on the bonding strength and even results in a fracture. Good joints of ceramic to metal promote the miniaturization and simplicity of electronic components with multifunction.

Effect of Al2O3 on Crystallization Behavior and Microstructure of Na2O-CaO-P2O5-SiO2 Glass-ceramic System

  • The effects of $Al_2O_3$ on the crystallization behavior of glass compositions in the $Na_2O$-CaO-$SiO_2$ system were investigated by differential thermal analysis (DTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The effect of $Al_2O_3$ content on the mechanical properties, density, phase formation, and microstructures of $Na_2O$-CaO-$P_2O_5$-$SiO_2$ glass ceramics were studied. The thermal parameters of each glass were studied by DTA. The density of the glass ceramic samples was measured by Archimedes' method. It was found that the glass-ceramic containing 2.0 molar percent $Al_2O_3$ had desirable sintering behavior and reached an acceptable density. Phase investigation and micro-structural analysis were performed by XRD and SEM, respectively.

아토피성 피부염의 광선치료(GI-2000) 효과 (A Study of Atopic Dermatitis Treated with Ceramic Based Infra-red Therapy)

  • Objectives : Ceramic based intra-red Therapy has been effective on dermatitis and immune system. The purpose of this study was to know the clinical effect of ceramic based infra-red therapy on Atopic Dermatitis(AD). Methods: For 3 months from Dec. 2003 to Feb. 2004, we treated ceramic based intra-red therapy to 21 outpatients with AD who visited Hana Oriental hospital. Ceramic based infra-red therapy using GI-2000 system was lighted to undressed outpatients for 15 minutes, three times a week. Results and Conclusions: Ceramic based intra-red therapy showed useful effect on AD, especially itching sign.

Ceramic 섬유의 강도 평가에 대한 Weibll 이론의 적용 (Application of Weifull강s Theory to Evaluation of Strength for Ceramic Fibers)

  • In this work, strength of ceramic fibers and monofilament composites were evaluated on the basis of Weibull's theory. The fibers used were β-SiC and γ-Al2O3 monofilament composites was fabricated by coating Al on the fiber surface by the use of vacuum evaporation method. Average tensile strength of ceramic fibers showed the tendency to linearly decrease with increasing gauge length. Also, Weibull moduli of ceramic fibers were decreased with increasing gauge length, Weibull modulus of β-SiC was 3.5 for 6-50mm, 2.8 for 100-200mm. Weibull modulus of γ-Al2O3 was 6.5 for 20-50mm, 6 for 100mm. Fibers in monofilament retained their original as-produced strength to exposure temperature of 400℃. However, tensile strength of both monofilament composites approved to remarkably degrade due to interfacial reaction-induced flaws on the fiber surface after thermal exposure of 600℃. In this case, Weibull modulus of monofilament composites was 2.7 for β-SiC and 5.2 for γ-Al2O3 respectively.

경화강에 대한 세라믹공구의 손상특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Failure Characteristics of Ceramic Tool for Hardened Steels)

  • This thesis is concerned with the study on the characteristics of the tool failure occuring at the beginning of cutting in finish machining of hardened steels such as carbon tool steel and alloy tool steel by a ceramic tool (Al$_{2}$O$_{3}$+TiC) with nose radius. In the machining of hardened carbon steel STC3, the wear mechanism on the flank face of the ceramic tool is abrasion wear. The mode of tool failure is developed into catastropic fracture with flaking. It is thought that the fracture caused by FeO and TiO$_{2}$ results from the oxidation of Fe in the workpice and TiC in the ceramic tool and the deposit of Fe formed on the surface of the ceramic tool. In the machining of hardened alloy steel STD11, the wear mechanism on the flank face of the ceramic tool is that abrasion and adhesion wear exist simultaneously. The mode of tool failure at the beginning of cutting features is DOC notch wear. It is thought that the DOC notch wear caused by FeO and TiO$_{2}$results from the oxidation of Fe and TiC in the workpiece and ceramic tool, respectively.

  • 빛을 통신매체로 사용한 광통신은 저손실, 광대역성, 대용량화등의 장점 때문에 많은 중장거리 통신을 점유하고 있으며, 대형가입자군을 위한 광가입자망이나 LAN등에도 시험적용되고 있다. 따라서 광통신에 있어 광FIBER를 연결시키는 CERAMIC단자를 연구개발하는데 그목적을 두었으며, CERAMIC 단자의 재질로서는 구조재료로 주로 사용되는 ZIRCONIA(psz)를 선정하였으며 또한 정밀성형 및 소결등을 검토하였다.

  • In recent years, perhaps the biggest driver in new material development is the desire to improve crown and bridge esthetics compared to the traditional PFM or all-metal restorations. As such, zirconia, leucite-containing glass ceramic and lithium disilicate glass ceramic have become prominent in the dental practice. Each material type performs differently regarding strength, toughness, ease of machining and the final preparation of the material prior to placement. For example, glass ceramic are typically weaker materials which limits its use to single-unit restorations. On the other hand, zirconia has a high fracture toughness which enables multi-unit restorations. This material requires a long sintering procedure which excludes its use for fast chair side production. Developed hybrid material of CAD/CAM is contained nano ceramic elements. This new material, called a Resin Nano Ceramic is unique in durability and function. The material is not a resin or composite. It is also not a pure ceramic. The material is a mixture of both and consists of ceramic. Like a composite, the material is not brittle and is fracture resistant. Like a glass ceramic, the material has excellent polish retention for lasting esthetics. The material is easily machined chair side or in a dental lab, polishes quickly to an esthetic finish and if necessary, can be useful restoratives.

팔라디움-은합금에 의한 도재의 색조변화 및 변색작용에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON THE COLOR CHANCE OF CERAMIC BY Pd-Ag ALLOY AND MECHANISM)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the tendency of color change of ceramic, and its mechanism un der the influence of Pd-Ag alloy. The specimens were made by firing porcelain on tile metal plates cast with Au-Pt alloy, Pd-Cu alloy and Pd-Ag alloy. In the case of Pd-Ag alloy, specimens were fired under three different conditions as follows, 1) without protection, 2) protection with ceramic metal conditioner, 3) protection with carbon block. For the specimens of element analysis, a barrier was constructed with platinum foil between metal plate and ceramic. Color change was measured with colorimeter and elemental changes in ceramic were calculated with DC argon plasma emission spectrophotometer. The results were as follows : 1. Color change of ceramic by Pd-Ag alloy was negligible in hue, but decreased in value and increased in chroma (yellow discoloration). 2. Color change of ceramic by Pd-Ag alloy was appeared through vapor transport mechanism. 3. As the protection method for the color change of ceramic by Pd-Ag alloy, application of ceramic metal conditioner was superior to utilization of carbon block.
