Bond strength of reinforcing bar to high-performance concrete using belite cement is explored using beam end test specimen. The key parameters for the bond test are slump of concrete, top bar effect, and strength of concrete in addition to concrete covers. Specimen failed in the typical brittle bond failure splitting the concrete cover as the wedging action. The test results show that the specimens with belire cement concrete show higher bond strength than those with portland cement concrete. Bond strength of the top bar is less than bond strength of bottom bar, but the top bar factor satisfies the modification factor for top reinforcement. The results also show that the bond strength is function of the square root of concrete compressive strength and cover thickness. The recently developed high-strength and high-slump concrete with belite cement performs well in terms of bond strength to reinforcing steel.

The key parameters for the bond test are slump of concrete, top bar effect, and strength of concrete in addition to concrete covers. Specimen failed in the typical brittle bond failure splitting the concrete cover as the wedging action. The test results show that for the group with portland cement I using superplasticizer additional slump does not decrease the bond strength of the top bar is less than bond strength of bottom bar, but the top bar factor satisfy the modification factor for top reinforcement. The result also show that bond strength is function of square root of concrete compressive strength and cover thickness. More detailed evaluation will be conducted from the test specimen with high strength concrete using the belite cement.
Moisture transport in concrete in atmospheric environment was studied in this paper. Based on the simplified formula of the thickness of the adsorbed layer, the pore-size distribution function of cement paste was calculated utilizing the water adsorption isotherms. Taking into consideration of the hysteresis effect in cement paste, the moisture diffusivity of cement paste was obtained by the integration of the pore-size distribution. Concrete is regarded as a two-phase composite with cement paste and aggregate, neglecting the moisture diffusivity of aggregate, then moisture diffusivity of concrete was evaluated using the composite theory. Finally, numerical simulation of humidity response during both wetting and drying process was carried out by the finite difference method of partial differential equation for moisture transport, and the numerical results well capture the trend of the measured data.
In the cement, that is the main materials of the panel, as to the cofired process, more than 1,300 enormous energies is consumed, in addition the greenhouse gas generated in the process of producing the cement occupies 6.3% of the country whole emission quantity. And the carbon dioxide of about 0.8 ton is the cement ejected in 1 production. Accordingly, the panel utilizing the industrial byproduct is developed. Accordingly, this research is the experiment which makes the individual size into the environment-friendly inorganic binder panel and by using the blast furnace slag, which is the industrial byproduct with the cement substitute material red mud, silica fume, and etc. looks at the dry shrinkage. The length variation in which the panel which is 450 with the dry shrinkage result of measurement, thickness 12mm, and size 450mm is the smallest was shown.
Epoxy-coated re-bar was partly used to the structures and put to practical use, but were not economical and appeared to have defects such as the diminishing of long term bond strength between concrete. The study of polymer cement slurry coated re-bar was started in order to complement the defect of epoxy coated re-bar, and ever since the basic properties appeared to be excellent. But, study of bond properties embedded in concrete specimens was insufficient until now. This study attempts to examine the possibility of improving the bond strength of polymer cement slurry coated re-bar between concrete specimens in accordance with ACI Code and KS Code through pull-out test of 150mm$\times$150mm$\times$150mm substrates with polymer cement slurry coated re-bar having polymer cement ratios of 50%, 75% and 100%, coating thickness 250${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, 450 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and with curing ages of 3, 7 and 28 days. High strength concrete was designed having a compressive strength of 500kgf/cm2 as specified. Practical bond length ranges of 55 and 85mm were applied to each of specimen. The bond strength of polymer cement slurry coated re-bar using St/BA-1 and St/BA-2 was compared to that of plain re-bar. The results of this study showed that the bond strength of 55mm bond length was much higher than that of 85mm bond length.
This study is a study on the flexural adhesion performance of polymer cement composites(PCCs) repair section according to the crack depth, and the flexural adhesion strength was obtained through a flexural strength test of cement mortar that was filled into cracks and repaired to a certain thickness using PCCs made of ultra high-early strength cement and polymer dispersion of EVA. As a result of the study, the flexural adhesion performance according to the crack width and crack depth was expected to decrease the flexural adhesion strength as the crack depth increased at the crack width 3.0mm, but the crack width 2.0mm and 1.5mm did not show any tendency according to the crack depth. In addition, even in the final destruction, the fact that the cracks and bottoms filled with PCCs were not cut or dropped proves that PCCs have excellent adhesion and rich toughness.
