2 캐비티 LCD 사출품의 품질향상에 관한 해석 및 실험적 연구 (Analytical and experimental study on the quality improvement of 2 cavity injection-molded LCD frame)

  • LCD 프레임은 중 대형 TFT-LCD BLU의 기본형상을 유지시켜주는 중요한 부분이다. 중 대형 LCD 프레임을 효율적으로 생산하기 위해 1 캐비티에서 2 캐비티 사출 공정으로의 개선이 필요하다. 2 캐비티 금형 구조는 콤팩트하게 되었고 핫 런너 존이 증가되었기 때문에 사출온도를 조절하기 어렵게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 2 캐비티 사출성형공정으로 생산된 프레임에 대한 품질을 평가하기 위해서 유한요소해석 프로그램을 사용하여 사출해석을 수행하였다. 1 캐비티와 2 캐비티 공정에서 계산된 사출압력과 최대 변형량은 각각 41.13 MPa과 1.62 mm, 40.49 MPa과 1.66 mm이다. 1 캐비티 프레임의 측정된 최대 굽힘 하중, 표면거칠기가 140 N, 0.13 ${\mu}m$, 인데 비하여 2 캐비티 중 좌, 우 프레임의 측정값들은 209 N, 0.08 ${\mu}m$와 193 N, 0.10 ${\mu}m$이다. 열화상은 2 캐비티 금형 중 좌 우 금형 온도의 최대 표준 편차값은 $1.23^{\circ}C$임을 나타내고 있다. 시뮬레이션과 측정은 전체적으로 2 캐비티 사출공정의 프레임 품질이 1 캐비티 품질보다 나쁘지 않다는 것을 보여주고 있다. 그러나 2 캐비티 공정에서 프레임의 최대 굽힘 하중값은 1 캐비티 공정의 하중값보다 매우 증가되었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 무선부품의 일종인 cavity filter금형을 제작하여 도금용 ABS 수지와 PC/ABS alloy 수지를 사용하여 일반사출성형과 금형온도가 높은 MmSH방식, 두 타입으로 성형품을 제작하였다. 성형품의 수축률 변화는 MmSH 방식일 때 ABS 성형품의 단위캐비티 격막부분에서 수축률이 감소되었다. 중량변화는 ABS와 PC/ABS 성형품 모두 MmSH 방식일 때 증가하였고, 성형품 표면 거칠기는 MmSH 방식일 때 모두 거칠기가 감소되었다.

식물공장 이중창호의 하절기 열전달 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Summertime Heat Transfer Characteristics of the Double Skin Window for Plant Factory)

  • To reduce the summertime cooling load of a plant factory, a concept design was performed for the double skin window which utilizes the low temperature air from a ground coupled heat exchanger. The design parameters were selected as the number of cavity air inlet, the cavity thickness, the location of cavity air inlet, and the configuration of cavity air outlet. A parametric study was conducted in a systematic way to evaluate the heat transfer characteristics of the double skin window. As the number of cavity air inlet and the cavity thickness increase, the heat flux from outside air to indoor air was decreased. The effect of the location of cavity air inlet was not significant and the larger cavity air outlet area gave us relatively better heat blocking performance from outside hot air. This study demonstrated that it is possible to develop an improved double skin window by utilizing a ground coupled heat exchanger.

  • 본 논문은 반도체 패키징 제조에서 사용되고 있는 반도체 금형을 CAD/CAM을 활용하여 직접 제작하였다. 원래 반도체 금형은 강도와 열성이 아주 좋은 ASP23 재질을 사용하며 매우 고가이다. 또한 특수도팜, 열처리와 정밀한 가공이 되어야 정상적인 반도체 패키징을 할 수 있다. 제작 과정은 CAD/CAM을 활용하여 직접 제작하였으므로 반도체 금형의 제작 방향을 제시하는 계기가 되었다.

  • The quality of product depends on a lots of injection molding conditions at each operation stage and mainly was effected by pressure and temperature. The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between the product quality and the distribution of pressure in a cavity with operation condition change. Specimen having some ribs was designed and the mold was prepared and temperature and pressure sensors were installed in the mold. PP was used and pressure distribution was measured with operation condition change. The relationship between the sink mark and the pressure in a cavity was investigated by measurement of the level of sink mark. The level of sink mark was decreased at the cross of plane and rib by increasing of pressure in a cavity, so the pressure should be controlled properly in order to get the required quality.

  • Double-diffusive convection inside a triangular porous cavity is studied numerically. Galerkin finite element method is adopted to derive the discrete form of the governing differential equations. The first-order backward Euler scheme is used for temporal discretization with the second-order Adams-Bashforth scheme for the convection terms in the energy and species conservation equations. The Boussinesq-Oberbeck approximation is used to calculate the density dependence on the temperature and concentration fields. A parametric study is performed with the Lewis number, the Rayleigh number, the buoyancy ratio, and the shape of the triangle. The effect of gravity orientation is considered also. Results obtained include the flow, temperature, and concentration fields. The differences induced by varying physical parameters are analyzed and discussed. It is found that the heat transfer rate is sensitive to the shape of the triangles. For the given geometries, buoyancy ratio and Rayleigh numbers are the dominating parameters controlling the heat transfer.

다점 핀포인트 금형에서 균형충전이 가능한 사출금형 구조 (On the new mold structure with multi-point gate for filling-balance mold)

However, even though geometrically balanced runner is used, filling imbalance have been observed. Filling imbalance could be decreased by modifying processing conditions such as injections rate, mold temperature, injection pressure, melt temperature that are related to shear, viscosity. In this study, a series of experiment was conducted to investigate filling imbalance variation when modifying runner layout and ploymer and to determine which processing condition influences as the primary cause of filling imbalance in geometrically balanced runner system. The filling imbalance was desreased up to result range of $3{\leq}DFI{\leq}8(%)$ by using a new runner system for balanced filling.

사출금형의 러너시스템 형상에 따른 균형 충전도 (Degree of Filling Balance according to Runner Shapes in Injection Mold)

  • Configuration of filling imbalance which is originated from imbalanced share rate of melt on runner is changed by runner layout, runner shape, material property, injection pressure, injection speed, melt temperature and mold temperature. In this paper, we conducted a study of runner layout and shape that are main factors of filling imbalance. Other factors such as the sharp corner effect and the groove corner effect are recently released were also considered. The results of study are showed that filling rate of between inside and outside cavity was influenced on shape of runner. Especially, this study suggests a new runner system for filling balance by adapting the two effects of unary branch type runner at multi cavity mold and theoretical investigated flow in the sharp corner type runner.
