양방향 반올림 필터를 이용한 객체 영역 기반 고속 영상 검색 (Fast Image Retrieval Based on Object Regions Using Bidirectional Round Filter)

  • 본 논문에서는 웨이브릿 변환 영역에서 양방향 반올림 필터를 이용한 객체 영역 기반 고속 영상 검색 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 방법은 웨이브릿 변환 영역의 부대역 전체에서 특징 벡터를 추출하기 때문에 불필요한 배경 정보가 포함됨으로써 검색 효율이 감소하였다. 제안한 방법은 양방향 반올림 필터를 이용하여 객체 영역에서만 특징 벡터를 추출함으로써 불필요한 배경 정보를 제거하여 검색 효율을 향상시킨다. 그리고, 색상 정보에 관한 특징 벡터 수를 감소하여도 일정한 검색 효율을 유지한다. 결론적으로, 영상의 특성에 따라 다소 차이는 있으나 2.5%∼5.3%의 검색 효율이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다.

  • 현재 우리는 언제 어디에서나 다양한 음악을 들을 수 있다. 길거리나 카페 등에서 음악을 듣고 그 노래를 다시 듣고 싶어 찾으려 할 때 해당 음악의 가수나 노래 제목을 모른다면 그 음악을 찾을 수 없는 것이 현재 음악 검색 방식의 단점이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 음원의 음 정보를 추출하여 데이터베이스를 구축하고 찾고자 하는 음악의 허밍을 녹음하거나 듣고 있는 음악을 직접 녹음하여 검색하는 방법 및 전자 악기를 연주하여 검색하는 내용 기반의 검색 방법을 연구하였다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 많은 내용 기반 음원 검색 논문, 특허 및 시스템을 분석하였으며, 이를 기반으로 내용 기반 검색 방법을 연구하였다. 즉, 허밍과 음악을 직접 녹음하여 검색하는 경우 음과 음원을 고속 푸리에 변환하여 주파수 정보를 추출하였으며, 악기를 연주하여 검색하는 경우 미디 파일을 사용하였다. 그리고 동적 정합 매칭방식을 사용하여, 매칭 시 음원과 입력 음간의 길이차를 극복하였다.

유사 사례를 이용한 공압 요소 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Selection of Pneumatic Components Using Similar Case)

  • It is one of the most important thing to select pneumatic components in pneumatic system design. For the purpose of selecting pneumatic components, case objects are described as a knowledge representation and the most similar case object must be selected by decision making in computer. In this paper, case objects are represented using the methodology that is used for CBR(Case Base Reasoning) and methodology that the most similar case can be selected is Proposed. Algorithm VIWNNR(Varying Index Weight-based Nearer Neighbor Retrieval) is accomplished by varying index weight, that is not considering a index matching as true or false but varying a size of weight according to the degree of matching and enhance the flexibility of SCRM(Similar Case Retrieval Module) involving fuzzy concept in matching the cases. SCRM is tested In verify the feasibility to select pneumatic linear components and is peformed effectively.

  • This paper addresses the methodology development far the automated machining setup planning system using case-based reasoning(CBR). The case-based reasoning is used to develop a setup planning system. which consists of part input and representation module, case retrieval module, and case adaptation module. We present new approaches in the part input and representation module and the case retrieval module focusing on the similarity index determination. An illustrative example is included to demonstrate the proposed method.

  • If a machine has some faults, we can detect them using vibration or noise signals. However some maintenance engineers who don\`t have export knowledge, need the help of vibration experts for diagnosing the machine. In this paper a case based reasoning (CBR) system is developed which is able to manipulate the past experiences of vibration diagnosis experts. In the CBR system, the maintenance engineers can retrieve the information form previous cases which are most similar to new problem s that they can solve new problem using solutions form the previous cases. In this paper, a new case retrieval method of CBR system using Petri net is proposed and also applied to diagnosis for electric motors as a practical problem.

  • 본 연구에서는 지능형 정보 검색의 개념을 정립하고, 지능형 정보 검색 시스템의 모 형을 제시하였다. 실제로 우리말 문헌을 검색하는 지능형 시스템을 구현하였으며, 이 시스템 은 자연 언어 인터페이스, 이용자 모형화, 격관계를 이용한 자동 색인, 복수의 검색 기법 등 을 수용한다.

  • This paper explores an image segmentation and representation method using Vector Quantization(VQ) on color and texture for content-based image retrieval system. The basic idea is a transformation from the raw pixel data to a small set of image regions which are coherent in color and texture space. These schemes are used for object-based image retrieval. Features for image retrieval are three color features from HSV color model and five texture features from Gray-level co-occurrence matrices. Once the feature extraction scheme is performed in the image, 8-dimensional feature vectors represent each pixel in the image. VQ algorithm is used to cluster each pixel data into groups. A representative feature table based on the dominant groups is obtained and used to retrieve similar images according to object within the image. The proposed method can retrieve similar images even in the case that the objects are translated, scaled, and rotated.

엔터테인먼트 데이터를 위한 자연어 검색시스템 (A Natural Language Retrieval System for Entertainment Data)

  • Recently, as the quality of life has been improving, search items in the area of entertainment represent an increasing share of the total usage of Internet portal sites. Information retrieval in the entertainment area is mainly depending on keywords that users are inputting, and the results of information retrieval are the contents that contain those keywords. In this paper, we propose a search method that takes natural language inputs and retrieves the database pertaining to entertainment. The main components of our study are the simple Korean morphological analyzer using case particle information, predicate-oriented token generation, standardized pattern generation coherent to tokens, and automatic generation of the corresponding SQL queries. We also propose an efficient retrieval system that searches the most relevant results from the database in terms of natural language querying, especially in the restricted domain of music, and shows the effectiveness of our system.

  • Case-based reasoning is emerging as a leading methodology for the application of artificial intelligence. CBR is a reasoning methodology that exploits similar experienced solutions, in the form of past cases, to solve new problems. Hybrid model achieves some convergence of the wide proliferation of credit evaluation modeling. As a result, Hybrid model showed that proposed methodology classify more accurately than any of techniques individually do. It is confirmed that proposed methodology predicts significantly better than individual techniques and the other combining methodologies. The objective of the proposed approach is to determines a set of weighting values that can best formalize the match between the input case and the previously stored cases and integrates fuzzy sit concepts into the case indexing and retrieval process. The GA is used to search for the best set of weighting values that are able to promote the association consistency among the cases. The fitness value in this study is defined as the number of old cases whose solutions match the input cases solution. In order to obtain the fitness value, many procedures have to be executed beforehand. Also this study tries to transform financial values into category ones using fuzzy logic approach fur performance of credit evaluation. Fuzzy set theory allows numerical features to be converted into fuzzy terms to simplify the matching process, and allows greater flexibility in the retrieval of candidate cases. Our proposed model is to apply an intelligent system for bankruptcy prediction.

  • The purpose of information retrieval is to help users solve their problems. To fulfill the purpose the user's problem needs to be focused on. The purpose of this study is to identify components and the structure of the user's problem in an academic research environment. From this study it was found that the scientific problem dealt within an academic environment is complicate and the problem is composed of 8 topical and 4 non-topical components. And they could be organized into a stucture. This study has three implications for user-oriented information retrieval. (1) The components and the structure of the problem need to be the framework for the effective information retrieval process and for the evaluation of information retrieval. (2) The research methodology used in this study can be applied to other information service situations and this will result in greater practical implication of a study for more effective information retrieval. And (3) for more effective user-oriented information retrieval, the user needs to be observed and studied in the actual' situation. This study showed that the complicate problem of the actual user can be studied in a systematic way and this resulted in important implications for information retrieval.
