As the national demand for solving the fine dust problem has increased, the government has announced intensive measures to deal with fine dust. So recently, selective catalytic reduction(SCR) has attracted attention as a technology for removing nitrogen oxides from precursors of fine dust. In this study, the government's policies related to fine dust and the current status of market and R&D were investigated, and economic analysis by scenarios was conducted by dividing cases where SCR technology was applied to industries. The results of economic analysis for each scenario were calculated using NPV, and companies with no denitrification facilities(Case 1) introduced general SCR technologies(Scenario 1-1) and low-temperature SCR technologies(Scenario 1-2). In addition, companies that have already installed denitrification facilities(Case 2) analyzed the two categories, using the general SCR technology as it is(Scenario 2-1) and replacing it with low-temperature SCR technology(Scenario 2-2). Comparative analysis was performed based on the results of each NPV.
Objectives : Since The Journal of Korean Acupuncture and Moxibustion Society(JKAMS) started publishing in 1984, randomised controlled trials(RCTs) and non-randomised clinical studies(NRSs) consistently have increased in quality and quantity. There has been no study on quality assessment of NRSs. Thus, this study evaluted non-randomised comparative clinical trials in the JKAMS to assess the quantity and quality. Methods : Upon extracting NRSs for assessing the intervention effects from all the articles published in the JKAMS from 1984 to 2009, assessments were made on methodological index for non-randomised studies(MINORS). Also, the analysis were made upon the proportion of non-randomised comparative clinical trials within original articles. The mean scores by research methods and years, and total scores and mean scores of yearly research methods were analyzed. Results : A total of 44 trials on non-randomised comparative clinical trials were selected. In 1980s, 4.3% of the total selected original articles, in 1990s, 4.1%, and in 2000s 14.2% were NRSs. According to the research designs, the mean scores of MINORS were Case-control study 18.3, Controlled before and after 18.5, Quasi randomised trial 18.5, and non randomised trial 17.9(out of 24), respectively. Cross-sectional study was the most frequently used(41.9%). Conclusion : Although NRSs consistently increased in quantity, the assessed mean scores were low and most articles used Cross-sectional study. Thus, there should be studied using appropriate research methods in the future.

Russian women's fur clothing possession rate as well as fur clothing purchasing intention in the future were higher than Korean women's. 3. Fur clothing item, material, color, style, length which Korean and Russian women prefer were compared. 4. In case of shilhouette, Russia women showed high preference on swinger shilhouette, relatively Korean women preferred H-line. 5. In case of collar design, Russian women showed high preference on stand collar, relatively Korean women preferred notch collar or shawl collar. 6. In case of sleeve design, Russian women showed high preference on turn back cuffs sleeve, relatively Korean women preferred push-up sleeve.
This article examines the way of the functionality of policy instruments for the development of renewable energy through the case of the wind power. The general barrier of the renewable energy development is considered to be the economic barrier. However the principal issue is the political barrier without the broad cooperation between the host government and the firm. Maintaining the long-term competitive advantage requires the shift of not only the strategy following the external circumstance but also the internal capacity development to utilize resources. Thus the comparative case study of Sri Lanka and Germany proposes the analysis of the supply-push and demand-pull policy with five patterns on the development of wind power in order to suggest how the functionality of policy instruments must be served to foster the wind power.
This research has been conducted to find answers to the questions of how projects that support local businesses work in areas undergoing gentrification and what are the achievements and limitations of these projects, based on the case studies of Brixton Pound and Pop Brixton supporting local businesses in Brixton in the London borough of Lambeth. To this end, this study collected data through interviews with local businesses belonging to each project and analysed them based on prior research on the projects, evaluation reports, and articles in the media. It began by investigating the supporting mechanisms of projects that support local businesses in the area, and then analysed and evaluated the projects' contribution to local businesses and the impact on the local community according to these mechanisms. The two projects in the case study showed contrasts in their support mechanisms, governance, and the role of Lambeth Council, and the local businesses' evaluations of the projects' support differed depending not only on the support mechanism of each project but also on business type and perceptions of the impact of gentrification.
The aim of the research was to analyze programs, outcomes, promotion process, and operation methods of neighbourhood making to provide basic information for progressive improvement directions in the future. Buk-gu in Gwanju city, samdeok-dong in Daegu city and dongpirang in Tongyeong city were selected for a comparative analysis. The main bodies of neighbourhood making for promoting a local amenity were analysed for this research. The results indicated that a voluntary and continuous participation of residents was expected in the case of neighbourhood making led by the residents. However, a steady budget support from the outside was necessary for the continuous management and improvement of neighbourhood organization. For this, a voluntary agreement was required through the consultative group and committee formation. The member of civil organization has a limitation in the ability to develop and maintain continuos activities in the case of neighbourhood making led by a civil organization. This research found that operation methods including the constant checking, the search for new ideas through assessment of the resident's participation, local festivals for a community formation and real satisfactions of residents' desires were needed in the neighbourhood making led by a civil organization. A participation rate in neighbourhood making was low in the case of neighbourhood making led by administrative bodies. This result indicated that the long-term strategics for space renewal and community revitalization were important. Various easy ways of residents' participation to reflect their interests and operation systems were also needed. Finally, current local issues, active residents' participation and residents' opinions would be included in the process of neighbour making in the future.
The method of finding the laws in the common law countries is significantly different from that in French civil code countries. The former usually derives the laws from the previous court decisions and applies the derived rules to the current case, called inductive, while the latter prescribes the laws beforehand and then applies the prescribed rule to the current case, called deductive. Such dichotomy in comparative legal research seems to be most recognizable and common. Accordingly, the mainstream of comparative legal research would come from comparison of common laws with civil codes. (omitted)
This study is to estimate the factor weights of the reasons for decreases in marine fishery resources using the Analytical Hierarchy Process. Furthermore, it classifies 20 fishes under a fishery resource recovery plan into various groups of fishes according to these factor weights using the non-hierarchial cluster analysis. The factors of decreases in marine fishery resources are identified as bio-ecological, technology-system, economic-business, and fishing village-society factors. Two of the most important factors of decreases in resource are turned out to be the economic-business and bio-ecological factors, estimated as 31% and 30% respectively. The technology-system and fishing village-society factors are estimated as 21% and 18% respectively. The study utilizes non-hierarchical cluster analysis in order to classify 20 fishes into 2, 3, and 4 groups. K-means cluster analysis is applied for grouping in conjunction with ANOVA to identify statistical differences in factors. Once again, the economic-business and bio-economic factors play main role in grouping 2-groups of fishes case. The third group of fishes in addition to the previous 2 groups of fishes appears as those 4 factors of decrease evenly play about the same role at a 3-groups of fishes case. Finally, the economic-business and bio-economic factors are turned out to be evenly important in the 4th group once there are 4-groups of fishes.
The objective of the research is to analyze changing trend of water discharge in precipitation, according to changing land use, through an environment-friendly urban development method called LID. The study chose S1 basin (Separated Sewer districts) in Cheongju region for survey. Among LID methods, relatively more applicable methods of green rooftop space and parking lot with permeable material were selected to construct plausible scenarios. Curve Number (CN) value was calculated due to land use patterns in each scenario, and SWMM model simulation were conducted during 2008 for comparative analysis. For Case 1, only parking lot with permeable material was applied to the scenario. Green rooftop space I and II were applied to Case 2 and 3 respectively. For Case 4 and 5, green rooftop space I and II were applied, in addition to parking lot with permeable material, Calculation of CN value showed that for S1 basin, the value was 88.1 (prior to scenario application), 86.5 (Case 1), 81.9 (Case 2), 68.5 (Case 3), 80.4 (Case 4) and 67.2 (Case 5). Changing pattern of rain water discharge was analyzed for each scenario. For Case 1, the change was not remarkable before and after application of scenario. In Case 2 and 4, the impact of rain water discharge as source of pollutant fell to 20~30%. The rate dropped to 30~50% in Case 3 and 5 respectively. The result demonstrates that the amount of rain water discharge, amount and frequency of sewer overflow, frequency of rain water discharge, and pollution load decreased in accordance with declining CN value in each scenario. In installing green rooftop space, the effect was twice greater when rain water discharge was directly infiltrated into soil.

This study was intended to make a comparative analysis of the plastic features of Korean and Japanese dragon patterns found in the process of recreating traditions in comtemporary fashion based on the investigation into the style of expression in relation to the origin, formative evolution, symbolism and traditional costume of the dragon. The form of the dragon has evolved with some similarity and peculiarity between both countries and been changed into many kinds and diverse forms such as the humorous dragon pattern of the Yi Dynasty and the simplified and designed dragon pattern symbolizing the Japanese family crest and the like, Its symbolism has lasted in terms of the sacrificial object, royal power, good omen, Buddhist guardian and the like. There is a difference in the aesthetic sense due to the different traditions and cultural background between Korea and Japan, and the dragon pattern found in the process of recreating the tradition in comtemporary fashion manifested itself as the peculiar aspect. An attempt was made to make a comparative analysis of the dragon pattern found in comtemporary fashion between Korea and Japan. The following results were obtained: First, the commonality between both countries was to make a contemporary expression of the dragon pattern, which was expressed in a realistic form because of a traditionally inherent strong image of the dragon. On the other hand, the designed dragon pattern rarely found expression. It can be said that carefully treating the dragon pattern is attributed to the Oriental thinking like this. Second, Korean people have arranged one or more simplified dragon patterns taking on a form of the coiling dragon in the composition of the scattered point and made a comtemporary expression of them by the contrast of black and white shading in Korea. And the humorous form of the dragon pattern manifested itself in the Yi Dynasty. On the other hand, the case of printing the dragon pattern in the black dragon sword of all over the Kabuki costume in a pictorial composition has frequently appeared in Japan. And Japanese people have expressed its lightness and briskness rather than the dignity and strength that the dragon pattern gives with the use of strong color tones and new materials.
