슬립을 고려한 트랜스퍼 크레인의 주행제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Tracking Control of a Transfer Crane with Tire Slip)

  • The most important thing in the container terminal is to handle the cargo effectively in the limited time. To achieve this object, many strategies have been introduced and applied to. If we consider the technical trends and environment of the automated container terminal, it is necessary that the systems for cargo handling are equipped with more intelligent control technologies. To cope with this tendency, from the middle of the 1990's, the automated RMGC (Rail-Mounted Gantry Crane) and RTGC (Rubber-Tired Gantry Crane) have been developed and widely used to handle containers in the yards. Recently, in these cranes, the many equipments like CCD cameras and sensors are mounted to cope with the automated terminal environment. If we want to obtain more efficient handling performance, the modelling, tracking control, anti-sway system design, skew motion suppressing and complicated motion control problems must be considered in the control system design and application process. Considering these problems, in this paper, the system modelling with the tire slip and a tracking control approach are proposed. Especially, we design the tracking control system based on the 2DOF servosystem design approach to cope with undesirable disturbance input. The experiment results show the desirable performance and usefulness of the designed control system.

조수간만의 차를 고려한 새로운 하역 시스템의 능동 제어 (Active Control of a New Cargo Handling System Adapted for Time-Varying Tide)

  • 본 연구에서는 조수간만의 차가 큰 항만에 적합한 새로운 하역 시스템을 제안하였다. 새로운 하역 시스템은 기존의 갑문 이용 방식 대신에 일종의 유압 엘리베이터를 사용함으로써 조수간만의 차에 따라 변하는 선박의 높이로 실시간 제어하여 선적 흑은 하역을 하는 방식이다. 한번에 대량의 컨테이너를 처리하기 위해 컨테이너 팔레트 운송타를 도입함으로써 기존 시스템에 비해 시간당 처리능력을 높일 수 있고, 선적 및 하역의 전 과정을 자동화함으로써 작업 효율을 극대화할 수 있도록 하였다. 새로운 하역 시스템의 개념 입증을 위해 소형 하역 시스템 모델을 설계 제작하였다. 제작된 모델은 컨테이너 팔레트 운송차, 플랫폼과 리프트 칼럼의 복합 구조물, 그리고 전용 운반선으로 구성된다. ER(electro-rheological) 밸브-실린더에 의해 구동되는 플랫폼은 조수간만의 차와 과도에 의해 변하는 선박의 높이를 능동적으로 추적 제어하게 된다. 동적 모델성을 통해 플랫폼의 운동 지배 방정식을 도출하였고, 파도 가진으로 인한 선박의 거동 및 조수간만의 차를 모델링하였다. 선적 및 하역의 자동화와 플랫폼의 정확한 위치 제어를 위해 시퀀스 제어기와 PID(proportional-integral-derivative) 위치 제어기가 연계된 제어 시스템을 구성하였다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 제안된 하역 시스템의 유용성을 입증하였다.

  • The development of logistics technology due to the 4th Industrial Revolution and logistics 4.0 has changed the logistics environment from offline to online, and the growth of the online market has accelerated due to the recent increase in non-face-to-face delivery due to COVID-19. Such growth in the online market has expanded the logistics market for delivery, and contributes to creating an advanced logistics ecosystem as last mile services and logistics technologies begin to grow together. As traffic and environmental problems arise as a result, interest in transportation means of cargo increases, and changes to cargo electric vehicles and delivery cycles are being considered. However, since mass transportation of transportation focused on terminal delivery such as cargo electric vehicles and delivery cycles is limited in handling large quantities in urban areas, methods for efficiently transporting cargo while considering the environment are being devised. In order to solve such environmental problems and increase the efficiency of logistics delivery in urban areas, technologies using underground spaces based on existing urban railroads are being developed. In this study, a study was conducted on the establishment of evaluation criteria for selecting a test bed, which is a space for applying the system.

  • A new concept of ocean transport system, called mobile harbor, was introduced as a feasibility study in Korea in 2009. Target of the mobile harbor is a smart distance transport of containers with or without cargo handling cranes. Although the mobile harbor project has a lot of topics to deal with, this paper is to focus on only ship-to-ship stabilized mooring, which plays a key role in cargo handling. The ship-to-ship stabilized mooring system was developed and installed on beard a barge of LOA 32m and breadth 12m. The dockside tests as sea test were carried out so as to ascertain ascertained whether the systems can work well to control the barge's motion. The results of dockside test showed that the heave motion of the barge's motion can be reduced by more than 45%.

  • LMTT(Linear Motor based Transfer Technology) is a new type of transfer system used in the maritime container terminal fur the port automation, and largely consists of a controller, shuttle car, and rail. The shuttle car is divided into the frame part, the driving part, and wheels. In order to design this system, various researches on each part of it must be conducted. In this study, we dealt with the optimum design for the frame part of the shuttle car designed from previous studies on the strength of the frame with respect to the number of cross beams to minimize the weight of the shuttle car and to satisfy design criteria of cargo-handling systems in container terminal. For the optimization of the frame, thicknesses of each beam were adopted as design variables, the weight of the frame as objective function, and stress and deflection per unit length as constraint condition.

System Dynamics를 활용한 인천항 철재화물 물동량 예측에 관한 연구 (Forecasting the Steel Cargo Volumes in Incheon Port using System Dynamics)

  • 제조산업의 핵심 원자재인 철재화물은 항만의 처리 물동량 증대를 위한 주요화물로 자리잡고 있다. 특히 인천항의 경우 철재화물 처리실적이 타 화물에 비해 비중이 높아 항만 활성화를 위한 주요 화물이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 측면에서 인천항을 운영하는 인천항만공사는 인천항 북항지역에 철재화물과 같은 주요 벌크화물을 처리할 수 있는 전용선석 및 배후지를 북항지역에 개발하여 운영하고 있다. 하지만 실제 처리물동량이 개발 당시 예측되었던 물동량에 비해 저조한 실적을 보이면서 운영상 어려움에 직면해있다. 이러한 결과는 국내외 다양한 경제지표를 반영한 벌크화물의 수요예측이 이루어지지 못한 결과로 판단된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 시스템 다이내믹스 기법을 이용하여 국내 철재화물 관련 산업 경기 및 세계 경제상황을 고려한 인천항 철재화물 예측을 시도하였다. 그 결과 인천항에서 처리되는 철재화물 물동량은 2011년 약 8백만 톤을 시작으로 2020년 약 1천만 톤이 처리될 것이라 예측되었다. 예측치의 정확도를 검증하기 위해 절대평균오차비율을 적용한 결과 0.0013으로 정확도가 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다.

내륙 컨테이너 기지의 입지선정에 관한 연구 (On the Site Selection of Inland Container Depot)

  • Today, about 95% of totoal import import and export container cargo in Korea is being transported through the Busan Port. The 59% of these cargos is being handled at BCTOC and the rest is at the existing piers. As the Off-Dock Container Yards(ODCY) within Busna City are located at 33 different places, it causes serious problems in the container cargo transport and inland traffic near Busan district. The container carriers to the inland market or other terminals cause heavy traffics to the Busan Traffic System. Hence, this impacts to the cost of the cargo handling equipment and cargo storage, the usage of labor resources, the control of natural environment etc. To solve those problems, it is required to build Inland Container Depot(ICD) in the Southeastern Economic Area. In this study therefore, we try to calculate the required area of Inland Container Depot(ICD) for Busan Port which deals which deals with the container cargo. We also investigate the sites for ICD being suggested outside of Busan City. We use the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) Method to decide the best one. The result shows that the best is the Site B(Dong Myen, Yangsan Kun).

전동기 구동 카고펌프의 적용 및 경제성 연구 (A Study on the Application and Economical Efficiency of Electric Driven Cargo Pumping System)

  • This study has been conducted to compare two cargo handling systems on MR tanker and Panamax tanker. Submerged hydraulic cargo pumps with hydraulic power packs and frequency converter controlled electric deepwell pumps will be investigated and compared on all aspects of initial cost, installation, operation and maintenance. The result of investigation shows Electric Systems have less manufacturing costs, higher environmental friendliness and reliable operation compare to Hydraulic Systems. Furthermore, the present experimental data will provide important database for Electric Systems onboard new ships and practical and empirical guidelines are constructed for further determine the design of the Electric Systems.

인천내항을 위한 시뮬레이션 모델 개발 (A Study on the Development of Simulation Model for Inchon Port)

  • Inchon Port is the second largest import-export port of Korea, and has the point at issue such as the excessive logistics cost because of the limits of handling capacity and the chronic demurrage. There are few research activities on the analysis and improvement of the whole port operation, because Inchon Port not only has the dual dock system and various facilities but also handles a various kind of cargo. The purpose of this paper is to develop the simulation program as a long-term strategic support tool, considering the dual dock system and the TU(Terminal Operation Company) system executed since March, 1997 in Inchon Port. The basic input parameters such as arrival intervals, cargo tons, service rates are analyzed and the probability density functions for these parameters are estimated. The main mechanism of simulation model is the discrete event-driven simulation and the next-event time advancing. The program is executed based on the knowledge base and database. From the simulation model, it is possible to estimate the demurrage status through analyzing various scenarios and to establish the long-term port strategic plan.
