자동차의 사후관리를 위한 등록통계 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development for Automobile Registration Statistics System for After Service)

  • The Ministry of Transportation forecasts that the total number of automobiles in use in 1997 will be increased to about 10 million units. Until now, with the increase of domestic demand for automobiles, the customers' complaints have been raised frequently in relation with insufficient supply of auto parts for the repair and maintenance. At the same time, the industry came to face with new problems such as customers' requests of auto makers' quality services. Until now there were not any statistics on the registration of car age for each car type. So, for the auto makers' efficient aftersales management a system for collecting registration statistics was developed, and it has attributed remarkably to the improvement of the aftersales services, through easy anticipation of the requirements of parts being used for not only the small-produced but the massproduced car types. And a systematic instrument useful for auto industry, transportation and policy on environment is provided by timely supply of various statistics to the industry.

  • This experimental study is the improvement of running stability for freight car. KNR (Korean National Railroad)'s conventional wagons, light bodies running on Barber style bogies with 5-1/$2{\times}10$ journals, would be considered fundamentally to be a most difficult car to control above 100km/h. From the results of experiment, to permit high speed operation safely, was realized with the resilient side bearing. Also, equipped with resilient side bearing, and elastowedge friction elements to eliminate bolster wedge pocket wear, KNR's wagons can be secure the running stability with lower maintenance requirements than current experience.

  • The maintenance CALS system for car of urban transit is a part of standardization and development of urban transit system, and We have been performed the establishment of maintenance CALS system from 2001 to 2005. These 2D and 3D configuration management system are utilized in a variety of CALS system for user's convenience and safety in maintenance. In this paper, the 2D and 3D configuration system will be discussed for necessity and possibility. This system include RAMS(reliability, availability, maintainability and safety) of the vehicles shall be enhanced in the future.

  • The surface of railway wheel tread in wheel-rail system can not be free from wear because of various circumstance such as railway condition, maintenance condition, weather condition, characteristics of wheel surface's geometrical shape, and vehicle suspension's structural characteristics etc. Therefore, the research on wear reduction and maintenance method are very important to ensure the safety of railway vehicle, to improve car comfort and to decrease maintenance cost. In this study, the wear rates of railway wheel have been periodically measured in terms of the running distance of Electrical Multiple Unit which have been currently operated and the microstructure transformation of wheel tread using replication method have been performed. The results show that the relations between the flange wear and tread microstructure are depended on running distance and it will supply basic data on wheel maintenance.

The Perceived-experiential Value and Service Quality of Auto Maintenance and Repair Service

  • Purpose: This study aims to examine such relationships as the experiential value that customers respond to with regard to maintenance service by empirically revealing how the quality of auto maintenance and repair service affects both customer satisfaction and intention to reuse the same service through the Perceived-experiential Value of customers. Research design, data and methodology: The research model was designed with service qualities such as human quality, material quality, interaction quality, and system quality as independent variables, perceived-experiential value as a parameter, and service satisfaction and return visit intention as dependent variables. Through a questionnaire composed of 24 items, a total of 319 survey data from customers with the experience of using car maintenance service centers in Korea were collected and analyzed using a structural equation. Results: The material quality did not affect the customers' perceived-experiential value, whereas the interaction quality had the greatest influence. It is confirmed that human quality, interaction quality, and system quality can generate customer satisfaction and repurchase intention through the perceived-experiential value. Conclusions: The experiential value of customers can play an important medium role in improving satisfaction, with customers considering interaction quality important. Therefore, the auto maintenance and repair service should consider relationship-focused service strategies.

  • Robotics applications are greatly needed in hazardous locations, e.g., fusion and fission reactors, where robots must perform delicate and complex tasks under ionizing radiation conditions. The drawback is that some robotic parts, such as active electronics, are susceptible to radiation. It can lead to unexpected failures and early termination of the robotic operation. This paper analyses the ionizing radiation effect from 0.09 to 1.5 Gy/s in robotic components (microcontrollers, servo motors and temperature sensors). The first experiment compares the performance of various microcontroller types and their actuators and sensors, where different mitigation strategies are applied, such as using Radiation-Hardened (Rad-Hard) microcontrollers or shielding. The second and third experiments analyze the performance of a 3-Degrees of Freedom (DoF) robotic arm, evaluating its components' responses and trajectory. This study enhances our understanding and expands our knowledge regarding radiation's impact on robotic arms and components, which is useful for defining the best strategies for extending the robots' operational lifespan, especially when performing maintenance or inspection tasks in radiation environments.

  • 도로 보수 및 도로 개발에 투자되는 비용이 증가세에 놓여있다. 그러나 포트 홀이나 지반 침하와 같은 사고들로 인하여 운전자들의 안전에 대한 위험성과 사고들로 인해 발생하는 물질적인 피해 역시 증가하고 있다. 이러한 추세에 따라 주행 시 발생하는 진동의 크기에 따라 운전자가 직접적인 개입 없이 도로 파손 여부를 판단하기 위한 시뮬레이션 시스템을 개발했다. 본 논문에서는 시스템을 개발하는 과정에서 실제 차량을 사용할 수 없는 환경의 제한으로 인하여 RC카 (Remote Control Car, 이하 RC카) 시뮬레이터를 사용하여 시스템을 구현하였다. 또한, RC카 시뮬레이터 차체에 진동 센서와 GPS 센서를 부착하여 주행하는 동안 실시간으로 차량의 움직임으로 발생하는 진동 수치와 위치 정보를 측정, 해당 데이터들을 서버로 전달하였다. 이로서 외부 사용자가 데이터를 기반으로 도로 파손 여부와 보수가 진행된 도로의 점검을 기존 방법보다 용이하게 파악할 수 있도록 응용을 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 설계 및 구현한 시스템을 통하여 향후 도로 파손에 대한 조기 대처 및 데이터를 기반으로 패턴 예측을 할 수 있을 것이며, RC카 시뮬레이터의 경우 평평도가 요구되는 다른 분야의 사업과 접목시켜 상용화가 가능할 것으로 예상된다.

ZigBee와 CAN 통신을 이용한 자동차 배기가스 검출 및 자기진단 시스템 (Car Exhaust Gas Detection and Self-Diagnosis System using ZigBee and CAN Communications)

  • 본 논문은 대기오염의 주범인 자동차 배기 가스량을 체크하고 차량내의 고장 유 무 진단 시스템 개발이다. 시스템 엔진 정보 추출을 위해 차량 CAN 통신을 이용하고 정보 전송을 위해 ZigBee를 통해 데이터 전송을 한다. 차량 CAN을 위해 차량에서 자체 제공되는 OBD-II 프로토콜을 사용하여 차량의 각종 센서 정보 및 O2 센서 값을 통해 차량 상태 정보 및 배기 가스양을 계산한다. 주행 중인 자동차 엔진 및 내부 고장에 잘 알지 못하는 일반 사용자를 위해 운행 중 실시간 차량의 자가진단 시스템 구축을 목적으로 하고 고장진단 프로토콜 전송을 위한 무선통신 인터페이스로 저 전력 저비용 ZigBee 통신 인터페이스를 구축한다. 자동차 그리고 진단 시스템의 통신을 위해 ZigBee 시스템을 통하여 효율적 저비용 통신 인터페이스를 구성하여 차량내의 엔진 및 각종 센서 정보 네트워크를 지원한다. 차량에서 전송되어 온 각종 센서정보는 ZigBee 기반을 통해 ZigBee 메인 컨트를 시스템에 전송된다. 차량에 이상이 생겼을 때 트러블 코드를 저장하고 자동차가 정비소에 갔을 때 정확한 판단을 하여 신속하게 처리 할 수 있게 해 주며 자동차에 대해서 잘 알지 못하는 운전자에게 정확한 정보를 제공한다. 또한 멀티미디어 시스템 기능을 추가하고 주행 중 무선 인터넷이 가능하도록 시스템을 확장한다. 마지막으로 주행 중 차량 자가진단을 위해 저 전력 임베디드 리눅스 시스템을 구축하고 실 실험을 통하여 구현하고 검증한다.
