A Packet Processing of Handling Large-capacity Traffic over 20Gbps Method Using Multi Core and Huge Page Memory Approache

  • 본 논문에서는 멀티 코어 및 Huge Page 메모리 접근법을 이용한 20Gbps 이상의 대용량 트래픽 처리 가능한 패킷 처리 방법을 제안한다. ICT 기술이 발전함에 따라 전 세계 월 평균 트래픽은 2022년 396엑사 바이트에 이를 것으로 예측된다. 이러한 네트워크 트래픽의 증가와 동시에 사이버위협 또한 증가하고 있어 트래픽 분석에 대한 중요도가 높아지고 있다. 기존 고비용의 외산 제품으로 분석되고있는 트래픽은 단순히 통계 데이터를 저장함과 동시에 가시적으로 보여주는 것에 불과하다. 네트워크 관리자들은 다양한 구간에서 트래픽을 분석하기 위해 많은 트래픽 분석 시스템을 도입하여 분석하고 있으나, 망 전체의 통합된 트래픽을 확인할 수 없다. 또한, 기존 장비는 10Gbps급이 대부분이기 때문에 매년 증가되고 있는 트래픽을 빠른속도로 처리할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 20Gbps 이상 대용량 트래픽 처리를 하기 방법으로 단일코어와 기본 SMA 메모리 접근법을 이용한 방법에서 멀티코어와 NUMA 메모리 접근법을 이용하여 고성능으로 패킷수신, 패킷검출, 통계까지 raw 패킷을 copy 없이 처리하는 과정을 제안한다. 제안한 방법을 이용하였때, 기존 장비보다 50%이상 트래픽이 처리되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • NaZSM 5 was synthesized in an alkaline medium and impregnated with cerium oxide by wet method using cerium nitrate as the source for cerium. There TGA results shows decomposition of nitrate at $200^{\circ}C$. The ceria impregnated ZSM 5 materials were designated as NaZSM 5 (X) where X is the percent ceria impregnated (3, 5, 7, 11, 19%). They were characterized by XRD, SEM, EDAX, BET techniques. XRD analysis showed decrease in intensity of the patterns with the increase in the ceria loading but crystallization of ceria to larger size is evident for 11 and 19% loading. The surface area and pore volume decreased with increase in ceria loading. The maximum adsorption capacity of NaZSM 5 (5%) is 100.2 mg/g of sorbent. The ceria impregnated NaZSM 5's were found to be regenerable, selective and recyclable.

압축 및 내압을 받는 고무 오링의 기밀 성능 평가 (An evaluation on sealing performance of elastomeric O-ring compressed and highly pressurized)

  • Elastomeric O-rings have been the most common seals due to their excellent sealing capacity, and availability in costs and sizes. One of the critical applications of O-ring seals is solid rocket motor joint seal where the operating hot gas must be sealed during the combustion. This has long been a design issue to avoid the system failure. For laterally constrained, squeezed and pressurized condition, deformed shape of O-ring was measured by computed tomography method and CCD laser sensor, compared with numerical calculations. As clearance gap changes, sealing performance had been evaluated on peak contact stresses at top, bottom and side contact surfaces. As clearance gap increases, peak contact stresses and contact widths in top and side contact surfaces increase, and the asymmetry of stress distributions is promoted due to pressure increase. It is suggested that peak stress of bottom contact surface can be approximated by simple superposition of peak ones due to squeeze and pressure. Under pressurized condition, sealing performance is dependent on not peak stresses of bottom and side contact surfaces but that of top.

헬멧의 강도안전과 변형거동에 관한 수치적 연구 (Numerical Study on the Strength Safety and Displacement Behaviors of a Helmet)

  • 본 논문은 외부의 충격력을 차단하고, 충격에너지를 흡수하는 헬멧의 강도안전과 변형거동에 대한 수치적 연구를 수행한 것이다. 기존헬멧과, 보강뼈대와 주름댐퍼를 추가적으로 설치한 4개의 헬멧모델에 대한 응력 및 변형거동을 유한요소법으로 해석하였다. 헬멧의 정상부에 보강뼈대를 설치하면 헬멧의 강도 안전 향상에 유용하고, 헬멧의 하단부에 주름댐퍼를 설치하면 충격에너지 흡수효과가 우수하다는 것을 FEM 해석결과를 통해 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 첨단헬멧을 안전하게 설계하기 위해서는 보강뼈대와 주름댐퍼를 새로운 설계요소로 고려할 것을 권장한다.

Strengthening of hollow brick infill walls with perforated steel plates

  • The infill walls, whose contribution to the earthquake resistance of a structure is generally ignored due to their limited lateral rigidities, constitute a part of the lateral load bearing system of an RC frame structure. A common method for improving the earthquake behavior of RC frame structures is increasing the contribution of the infill walls to the overall lateral rigidity by strengthening them through different techniques. The present study investigates the influence of externally bonded perforated steel plates on the load capacities, rigidities, and ductilities of hollow brick infill walls. For this purpose, a reference (unstrengthened) and twelve strengthened specimens were subjected to monotonic diagonal compression. The experiments indicated that the spacing of the bolts, connecting the plates to the wall, have a more profound effect on the behavior of a brick wall compared to the thickness of the strengthening plates. Furthermore, an increase in the plate thickness was shown to result in a considerable improvement in the behavior of the wall only if the plates are connected to the wall with closely-spaced bolts. This strengthening technique was found to increase the energy absorption capacities of the walls between 4 and 14 times the capacity of the reference wall. The strengthened walls reached ultimate loads 30-160% greater than the reference wall and all strengthened walls remained intact till the end of the test.

  • When the suction pressure of compressor decreases under its limit, the compression ratio is increased causing the malfunctions of compressor. As the method to decrease the compression ratio, hot gas bypass system is usually adopted in heat pump system. In the hot gas bypass system, the discharged gas from the compressor is bypassed into the compressor suction, which causes the increase of suction pressure and the decrease of compression ratio. In this study, the characteristics and performances of the hot gas bypass system in heat pump was investigated experimentally with a variation of the bypass flow rate ratio. With the increase of the bypass rate ratio, the compressor suction pressure was increased, even though the total capacity and COP was decreased. From the analysis of the experimental results, the optimum pressure control algorithm was suggested in this study.

프리스트레스트 콘크리트 박스거더의 횡방향 극한거동 실험 연구 (Lateral ultimate behavior of prestressed concrete box girder bridges)

  • The concrete box girder members are extensively used as a superstructure in bridge construction. The load carrying capacity of concrete box girders in lateral direction is generally influenced by the sizes of haunch and web. The internal upper decks are restrained by the webs and exhibit strength enhancement due to the development of aching action. The current codes do not have generally consider the arching action of deck slab in the design because of complexity of the behavior. However, there are significant benefits in utilizing the effects of arching action in the design of concrete members. The main objective of this paper is to propose a rational method to predict the ultimate load of deck slab by considering various haunch sizes and web restraint effect of concrete box girder bridges. To this end, a comprehensive experimental program has been set up and seven large-scale concrete box girders have been tested. A transverse analysis model of concrete box girders with haunches is proposed and compared with test data. The results of present study indicate that the ultimate strength is significantly affected by haunch dimension. The increase of strength due to concrete arcing action is reduced with an increase of prestressing steel ratio in laterally prestressed concrete box girders and increases with a larger haunch dimension. The proposed theory allows more realistic prediction of lateral ultimate strength for rational design of actual concrete box girder bridges.

Comparative Investigation of the Hydrogen Production of Zinc/carbons Prepared from Non-activated Carbon and Surface-modified Activated Carbon by Treatment with Zinc Salts

  • Zn-AC and Zn-H-AC series prepared from non- and surface-modified activated carbon were investigated in terms of their hydrogen production capacity. An increase in the concentration of the zinc salts used with these series was shown to lead to a decrease in the values of the surface textural properties. The existence of zinc complexes on the surface was confirmed from an analysis of XRD data. The SEM micrographs of the two different sample types showed that the transformation of the carbon surface with an acid pre-treatment significantly change the metal contents on the surfaces of the carbon matrix. The EDX spectra indicated that all of the samples were richer in the amount of oxygen and zinc compared to any other elements. The results obtained using the Boehm's titration method showed that the positive introduction of the acidic groups on the carbon surfaces with the acid treatment is correlated with an increase in the amounts of zinc complexes with variation of the acidic groups. In terms of the hydrogen production performance, the volume fractions of the Zn-H-AC series were found to produce higher amounts than the Zn-AC series as a function of the metal contents considering the effects of the acid treatment.

  • 본 논문에서는 MC-CDMA 시스템에 적용 가능한 LCCMA(Linearly Constrained Constant Modulus Algorithm)와 HIC(Hybrid Interference Canceller)형태의 두 가지 간섭 제거 구조를 제안하였다. 제안된 구조는 사용자의 확산 부호만을 요구하므로 여러 가지 제한이 있는 이동국에서도 적용이 가능한 장점이 있다. 이와 더불어, 본 논문에서는 LCCMA와 PIC(Parallel Interference Canceller)를 결합한 새로운 구조의 HIC를 제안하였다. 다양한 환경에서 Monte Carlo 모의시험이 수행한 결과, 제안된 LCCMA 및 HIC 구조를 사용한 시스템이 역방향 링크와 순방향 링크에서 각각 MRC(Maximum Ratio Combining)와 EGC(Equal Gain Combining)를 사용한 시스템보다 실험 환경에 따라 1.4~3배정도 용량이 증가되며, MRC나 EGC에서 얻을 수 없었던 경로 다이버시티의 이용이 가능하여, 경로수가 증가할 경우 성능이 향상됨을 실험을 통하여 확인하였다.

무선통신에서 WSF을 이용한 신호 도래각 추정 (Estimation of AOA Using WSF for Wireless Communications)

  • 센서 배열을 이용하여 모르는 신호 매개변수들을 추정하는 것에 대한 연구가 광범위하게 진행되어 왔다. 또한 최근에는 셀룰러 시스템의 이동통신 이용자 수가 폭발적으로 증가되어, 다중 사용자로 인한 간섭이 매우 커지고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 채널 용량을 더 증가시키기 위한 안테나 배열기술의 응용이 연구되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 이동국 근처의 국소적 산란 신호의 새로운 모형을 평균 조정 벡터를 이용하여 만들고, 몇 가지 분포에 대한 수학적 유도를 하였다. 이 모델에서 신호 도래각의 추정은 weighted subspace fitting(WSF) 기법에 바탕을 두었고, 통계적 분석과 모의실험을 통해 성능을 보였다.
