투과광을 이용한 밀병 사과의 판별 가능성 및 영향인자 조사 (A Study on Discrimination of Watercore Apple using Transmitted Light and Effects of various Factors)

  • 밀병(watercore)은 과실의 저장 및 유통 산업에 있어서 큰 영향을 주므로 이를 비파괴측정할 수 있는 기술이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 투광량을 이용한 사과의 밀병 판별 가능성과 밀병 판별에 영향을 미치는 인자들을 조사하였다. 사과의 화상데이터는 CCD 카메라를 사용하여 영상을 취득하였다. 밀병이 많이 든 사과는 밀병이 적게 든 사과보다 투광량이 더 많았으며 투광량에 의한 사과의 밀병 판별 정확도는 약 70%이었다. 사과의 과피두께, 색소층 두께, 과육밀도 등이 투광량에 영향을 미치는데 과피와 색소층의 두께가 얇고 과육밀도가 낮을수록 투광량은 높은 경향을 나타내었다. 사과의 착색정도가 좋을수록 밀병이 존재할 확률이 높았으며 착색분포는 밀병판별에 거의 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

CEREC 3D System을 이용한 당일수복 (one-day treatment) 임상증례

  • Application of CAD/CAM is changing the way partial or full veneer all ceramic restoration is made. CAD/CAM systems, which were used mainly in other industries, have been developed and introduced for the dental purposes recently. It produced a flood of information on the CAD/CAM systems. It also influenced the development of restorative materials and all ceramic is substituting the traditional restorative materials of gold, composite resin and metal. Price increase of gold and other raw materials made the all ceramic more appealing. The introduction of a CEREC 3D system was innovative in several ways. Image of the prepared tooth is captured by camera and impression taking is unnecessary. Restoration can be delivered to the patient on one appointment and it will satisfy the demand of busy patients. One-day treatment with direct CAD/CAM system saves time compared to indirect CAD/CAM system. More superior restoration can be produced if lab work such as the adaptability check and shade selection is cooperated with lab technician. Short working time and comparably superior shade compatibility of color block was close to ideal. In the future, restorations with better quality can be fabricated in less time to busy patients thanks to the development of CAD/CAM system and dental materials.

뷰티 메이크업을 위한 포토샵 리터칭 기법 연구 (A Study of Photoshop Retouching Technique for Beauty Make-up)

  • With supplied computers and the development of information and communication thropugh the Internet, the space of personal home pages in potal sites has been filled with photos taken by digital cameras, and 'the introduction of privacy' done in the personal home pages has become a general trend in society. As the use of Photoshop, available to edit and modify digital photos, in this social atmosphere, has grown general, they have shown their interest in the retouching technique of Photoshop. Computer graphics, marked based on the treatment of a variety of information into pictures or a technology to mark it, recently various application methods have been found in make-up. Especially, Adobe Photoshop, used to edit and modify images, is a sofetware program proper to perform beauty make-up in correcting and creating images in an effective way. The purpose of this study is to express each factor in Adobe Photoshop CS2 about the beauty make-up. As a result, I can say, the process that digital image is retouched by Adobe Photoshop CS is similar work to beauty make-up. The process of Photoshop retouching can be used as the materials for educating of make-up and as the materials for presentation of beauty make-up trend. And also we can serve the simulation to the customer before real make-up. Therefore, this study is for the effective performance of diverse beauty makeup integrating retouch technique with Photoshop CS.

  • 본 논문에서는 디지털시대에 중요한 영상 매체로 대두되는 영화의 연기 방법론에 대해 연구하였다. 사실주의 연극에서 많이 연습되어지는 스타니슬랍스키(Konstantin Sergeevich Stanislavsky, 1863~1938)의 주의집중의 범위를 중심으로 영화에 부합되는 방법들을 고찰하였다. 정신적인 측면만을 고려한 연기 접근 방법이 아닌 영화의 스토리보드를 참고한 신체적인 접근 방법과 마이크 위치를 고려한 사운드의 적응 방법 등을 서술하였다. 스타니슬랍스키의 주의집중의 범위를 통한 인물창조는 사실주의 연극에서 뿐만 아니라 영화에도 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

웹툰에서의 3D컴퓨터그래픽스 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the 3D Computer Graphics Application in Webtoons)

  • 최근 컴퓨터그래픽스는 실사에 가까운 표현이 가능하게 되었다. 하지만, 2D 컴퓨터그래픽스 고유의 느낌을 선호하는 면도 없진 않다. 2D 컴퓨터그래픽스와 3D 컴퓨터그래픽스의 합성 작업은 이미 오래전부터 제작되어왔다. 하지만, 기술적인 차이로 한계를 넘지 못하거나 실사 2D에 가상의 3D 컴퓨터그래픽스가 도입되거나 2D 컴퓨터그래픽스에 이펙트 등 효과가 3D 컴퓨터그래픽스 작업을 통해 제작되어 왔다. 최근에는 웹툰 등 2D 컴퓨터그래픽스로 작업하면서 시간적으로 좀 더 제약을 많는 콘텐츠 등에 2D 컴퓨터그래픽스로 작업한 느낌을 살리면서 카메라 앵글이나 시공간적인 장면 전환이 용이한 요소를 3D컴퓨터그래픽스로 작업하여 작업의 효율을 높이는 경우가 있다. 실제 작업을 통해 적절한 방향을 제시해보고자 한다.

  • In this study an automatic roiling-coli labeling system using robot vision system and peripheral mechanism is proposed and implemented, which instead of the manual labor to attach labels Rolling-coils in a steel miil. The binary image process for the image processing is performed with the threshold, and the contour line is converted to the binary gradient which detects the discontinuous variation of brightness of rolling-coils. The moment invariants algorithm proposed by Hu is used to make it easy to recognize even when the position of the center are different from the trained data. The position error compensation algorithm of six degrees of freedom industrial robot manipulator is also developed and the data of the position of the center rolling-coils, which is obtained by floor mount camera, are transfered by asynchronous communication method. Therefore even if the position of center is changed, robot moves to the position of center and performs the labeling work successfully. Therefore, this system can be improved the safety and efficiency.

  • As there is a growing tendency to represent the 3D content instead of the 2D content, researches for the stereoscopic image and video are under way in a variety of fields such as acquisition compression, transmission, authoring and display. The authoring technique for stereoscopic contents has given emphasis to virtual stereoscopic contents. Thus the authoring technique for stereoscopic pictures is insufficient. When we compose a stereo scene with stereoscopic pictures, stereoscopic contents may not match the stereo scene because each stereoscopic picture may have different camera condition. To solve this problem, stereoscopic pictures have been modified manually. It is a laborious work and will be spent much time. Also it is difficult for a user who does not have an elementary knowledge of stereopsis. In this paper, we propose the synthesis method to compose a natural stereo scene with stereoscopic still pictures and moving pictures. Experimental results show that the proposed method in this paper allows a user to synthesize stereoscopic contents easily and compose a stereo scene conveniently.

INVESTIGATION ON SPRAY CHARACTERISTICS UNDER ULTRA-HIGH INJECTION PRESSURE CONDITIONS

  • This article reports the experimental and numerical results for free sprays under ultra-high injection pressure conditions to give us better understandings of spray characteristics and also to make clear a limit pressure condition in diesel sprays. The high pressure injection system developed in this work is devised to reach ultra-high pressure conditions in the range from 150 MPa to 355 MPa. The free spray injected from a single nozzle injector is visualized by the Schlieren technique and the high speed camera. In particular, it is found that the shock waves are present and propagated along the edge of spray in the downstream direction. The measured spray penetration length increases gradually with the injection pressure, but its increasing rate is decreased as the injection pressure increases. The Sauter mean diameter is also no longer augmented for the injection pressures higher than 300 MPa. In addition, the three­dimensional numerical simulations are conducted for comparing the measurements with the predictions based on two different breakup models. The TAB model results show better agreements with experimental data than the WAVE model under ultra-high injection pressure conductions. Moreover, the simulation results show that the gas-phase pressure increases substantially in the vicinity of the spray tip region. It supports the experimental observation that the shock waves are formed at the front of spray tip and are propagated downstream.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존 고가의 카메라센서 기반으로 화재를 검출하는 방법 대신 저가의 카메라 시각 기능만 사용하여 화재를 검출하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법은 YCbCr과 YIQ 칼라모델을 사용하여 화재 후보영역을 검출하였다. 화재 후보영역에서 화재의 외부 경계추출, 노이즈 제거 등의 영역해석을 수행함으로써 화재를 검출하였다. 실험결과 제안한 방법은 주위환경의 변화에 무관하게 화재를 감지하는 매우 좋은 결과를 보여 준다.

Multi-class support vector machines for paint condition assessment on the Sydney Harbour Bridge using hyperspectral imaging

  • Assessing the condition of paint on civil structures is an important but challenging and costly task, in particular when it comes to large and complex structures. Current practices of visual inspection are labour-intensive and time-consuming to perform. In addition, this task usually relies on the experience and subjective judgment of individual inspectors. In this study, hyperspectral imaging and classification techniques are proposed as a method to objectively assess the state of the paint on a civil or other structure. The ultimate objective of the work is to develop a technology that can provide precise and automatic grading of paint condition and assessment of degradation due to age or environmental factors. Towards this goal, we acquired hyperspectral images of steel surfaces located at long (mid-range) and short distances on the Sydney Harbour Bridge with an Acousto-Optics Tunable filter (AOTF) hyperspectral camera (consisting of 21 bands in the visible spectrum). We trained a multi-class Support Vector Machines (SVM) classifier to automatically assess the grading of the paint from hyperspectral signatures. Our results demonstrate that the classifier generates highly accurate assessment of the paint condition in comparison to the judgement of human experts.
