Design of Bi-directional Recommend Calligraphy Contents Open-market Platform (양방향 추천 캘리콘텐츠 오픈마켓 플랫폼 설계)

  • Calligraphy contents(shortly called, CalliContents) depict the feature of communication media with artistic sentences or drawings before being processed into digital contents to become printed advertisement, visual design and entertainment products. As a fast growing business model, they can be applied to every single scope of all fields these days and each application case presented excellent effects to grab consumers' attention immediately. In this paper, we designed and produced an emotional bi-directional recommendation DIY calligraphy contents platform to consume created cultural contents and boost personalized contents industry that meets consumer's needs through both wired and wireless-based software with convergence of artistic and emotional calligraphy contents and ICT. For this works, we established for DIY calligraphy consumers a foundation of a virtuous circle of the CalliContents where various CalliContents are provided in on and offline environment and a third party target is opened at the CalliContents platform

The Use of Calligraphy for Attention and Liking : Focusing on Interaction Effects of Emotion and Involvement (캘리그래피가 광고의 주목성과 호감도에 미치는 영향 : 감성과 관여도의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Calligraphy has become popular in recent years. Designers use calligraphy to draw consumer visual attention and liking by delivering friendly and gentle images. This paper analyzes the effects of calligraphy on consumer response to advertisement design. Regression analyses show calligraphy has a positive effect on consumer visual attention and liking, particularly in sensible product/service. In low involvement product/service, however, calligraphy has a negative effect. These results imply that designers should be careful when they use calligraphy.

  • In the current so-called age of emotion marketing, the independent form of handwriting of calligraphy is being revitalized in various fields such as advertising, book designs, film titles, posters, packages, BI, and even fashion. Thus centered on Gyeyang-gu at the city of Incheon, 100 outdoors signs that used calligraphy were chosen and we researched a reform plan that could revitalize calligraphy in outdoor signs by classifying them according to current conditions of the use of calligraphy, actual conditions of practical use, expression tools, and analyzing the use of colors. The result was trial requests not only from the formalities industry, but also the financial sector, public corporations, and several other businesses, but in order to provide not only for franchise brand logotypes manufactured by expensive experts, but also provide production of high-quality calligraphy for low costs for small private enterprises, the development of a diverse calligraphy education program, centered on the regional society, will be needed. In the midst of globalization, in order to advertise the beauty of Korean alphabet and to create our own unique street culture, a variety of tools and tactile expressions are demanded, in the future the research on the calligraphy of outdoor signs must be revitalized.

  • As the speed of social change consumers' buying patterns change, with an effective and competitive means of communication is an effort to find ads world. Characters have to maximize its own image, the character font used for the situation fits perfectly expressed in the formative Calligraphy differentiated pay plan as part of Calligraphy is considered. People feel in the hand by writing letters that can not be standardized as a strong symbol and symbolism, and the appeal and beauty, dynamic motion, mystery, and can be expressed. Design disciplines across all areas of Calligraphy extensive coverage, digital coolness of the hard preparation for the soft and warm lyricism analogue availability is required to meet contemporary needs. Media ads that emphasize the use of the Calligraphy emotional representation of the contents of the ads favorable to improve cognitive function, attention, recall of positive affect and, therefore, character-driven emotional expression as an art communications capabilities with one of the media is situated in the heart of the culture.

A Systematic Review of Calligraphy Therapy: A Comparative Study of Korea and China (서예치료의 체계적 문헌고찰: 한·중 비교 연구)

  • We aimed to identify the differences between Korean and Chinese calligraphy therapy by examining the trends in Korean and Chinese calligraphy therapy and the effectiveness of the dependent variables. For the study, we initially screened 288 Korean articles and 429 Chinese articles, totaling 717 articles, published from January 1997 to December 2021. Using the PICOTS-SD standard, 6 Korean articles, 9 Chinese articles, and 15 total articles were identified as eligible for the study, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0, a Microsoft EXCEL program. We found that there were significant differences in the number of follow-ups among publication formats, disease types, and main activity techniques (p<.05), and significant differences in the number of research and experimental participants in calligraphy therapy studies published in Korea and China and in the type of effect verification of the dependent variable (p<.01). In addition, based on the literature review and data analysis, it was found that there were differences in the qualities and experience of Korean and Chinese therapists and the intervention contents and methods of calligraphy therapy.

  • 본 연구에서는 캘리그라피로 다양한 디자인 콘텐츠를 제작하는 것을 제안한다. 켈리그라피는 글씨 아트로서 다양한 문화와 이미지와 합성하여 디자인 콘텐츠로서 그 활용가치가 생활과 가까이 접함으로써 그 활용가치가 높다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 다양한 글자체로 캘리그라피를 표현하여 그 예술적 효과는 더 크다고 할 수 있다.

  • 본 연구에서는 디지털 캘리그래피 콘텐츠 다양한 제작과 활용을 제안한다. 캘리그래피는 기존의 아날로그 텍스트를 디지털 아트예술로 승화하여 글자 자체로서의 예술성과 이미지와 합성하여 다양한 효과를 연출함으로써 예술성과 작품성 그리고 취미 등 삶에 다양한 창조의 가치를 부여하여 디지털 예술의 한 영역으로 발전 할 수 있다고 사료하며 그 활용도는 증대 된다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 캘리그래피의 다양성을 제시한다.

  • The Imwon Sipyukji of this study was compiled by Seo Yugu (1764~1845), a famous agronomical scholar of the late eighteenth century. The contents of this book are divided into sixteen chapters related to all the important parts of rural home life ranging from daily routines to social life covering the agro-industry and the six skills of manners, music, archery, calligraphy, mathematics and horseback riding. Seomyongji, one of the sixteen chapters, covers all that is necessary for living a rural existence such as house-building, clothing adornments and transportation as well as how to make and use daily household items. The contents of the Boksik Jigu sub-section in the Sumyongji chapter consist of eight large units covering men's and women's clothing, bedding and pillows, sewing tools, belt and shoes accompanying the attire and storage for clothes. These eight are further subdivided into 65 items, each warranting a detailed explanation. My study will translate the original Chinese text of Boksik Jigu into Korean. This sub-section in the Seomyongji chapter will facilitate an investigation into the information contained therein on attire and accessories.

  • 본 연구에서는 스마트미디어를 사용하여 캘리그래피 활용을 나타낸다. 스마트기기를 이용한 SNS로 트위터, 페이스북 등 다양한 수단을 이용하여 캘리그래피를 CI, BI, 영화 포스터, 책 표지타이틀, 전시, 마케팅 전략 등 기업의 수익 모델과 개인 작품 활동들을 공유함으로써 다양한 정보제공과 영상으로 그 효과는 매우 크다 따라서 이러한 스마트기기를 활용한 캘리그래피는 앞으로도 더 많은 정보 제공과 수익 모델을 창출하며 그 영향력은 매우 증대될 것으로 사료한다.
