In this paper, a motion estimation module is made with ADSP-21020 based on MPEG-2 which is an international standard for moving picture compression. And, the block matching algorithm used as motion estimation method is easy for an hardware implementation. The ADSP-21020 of Analog Device is used for a main control processor. We used three block matching method (exhaustive search method, 2D-logarithmic search method, three step search method) for software simulation and implemented the three step search method to hardware. For the test of the estimation module, we used ping pong image sequences and mobile and calendar image sequences.

Tree-ring dating can be used to date scientifically prehistoric timbers, historical buildings or woodcrafts. It gives a calendar year to each tree ring and produces the felling dates of logs or wood panels. In this study, we applied tree-ring dating to a medicine cabinet in Seoul Museum of History. We obtained tree-ring data from radial or cross section by taking photographs with a digital camera. The cabinet were dated A.D. 1821 to the last ring. It was about 50 year older than the previous medicine cabinets. Tree-ring patterns indicated that the origin of woods for the cabinet would be near Sorak mountains.

In this study, we applied tree-ring dating to three rice chests, whose dates of manufacturing are unknown. According to the shape of frame, we assumed that they should be made in Cholla Province. The last rings of the woods of three rice chests were dated A.D. 1830, A.D. 1870 and A.D. 1901, respectively. Tree-ring patterns indicated that two of them were collected from Kangwon province.

This paper describes the concept of demand response of the communication system used in the protocol communication model of the smart grid.

이차전지의 수명 평가는 크게 Cycle life test 와 Calendar life test로 나뉘어져서 평가 되고 있다. Cycle life test로 수명 검증을 위해서는 일반적으로 3000 사이클 이상 테스트를 진행 하여야 하지만 이 방법은 시간이 장기화 되어 신뢰성 검증 및 새로운 부품 적용에 한계가 따른다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 고온 챔버 및 사이클 시험기를 사용하여 빠른 시간 내에 평가를 할 수 있는 가속시험법을 적용하여 수명을 평가 한 연구결과를 발표하고자 한다.

In the calendar and the advertising catalog, the surface Is usually coated by coating polypropylene film. The delamination failure of coating film depends on surface roughness and quality of the substrate paper. In this paper, the mechanisms of delamination failure between the coating film and the paper is investigated by using the root cause analysis as one of techniques of reliability evaluation. The papers used in failure analysis are three kind products made by two domestic and one foreign companies. It found that the main causes of delamination failure between the coating film and the paper were the creation of microvoids caused by shape of filler and their growth caused by contraction of paper.

The simple simultaneous linear congruence equation solution in 《Sunzi Suanjing孫子算經》 has developed into a systematic general solution in 《Shuxue Jiuzhang數書九章》. The most important parts of it is the creation of the Dayan Qiuyishu大衍求一術. The reason why 《Sanhak Jeongeui算學正義》 deals with the Dayanshu大衍術 which has lost its practicality in the calculation of astronomical calendar, is that one of the best achievement of traditional mathematics cannot be omitted. It is written with an emphasis on the disclosure of the calculation principle. It shows that Nam Byeong-gil南秉吉 and Lee Sang-hyeok李尙爀 had a fairly structural understanding of the Dayan Qiuyishu.

The purpose of this study is to improve a general Top-Down construction process for superstructure construction period reduction. In a general Top-Down construction sequence, the ground floor slab is set up first. Subsequently, 1st basement level construction including core walls is constructed. Initiation of the ground level superstructure gets waited until then. In this study, removable deck plate installation on the bottom of the core walls of ground level is preceding the concrete casting, therefore, ground level superstructure construction is able to get started earlier. Up to first typical floor concrete casting, total of seventy-two working(calendar) days will be resulted in a reduction from the total construction periods.

The Ramayana is a very popular epic in Southeast Asia. It is the story of King Rama who must save his kidnapped wife, Sita. After Sita was abducted by the Demon King Ravana (Tosakanth) and taken to Lanka, Rama and his brother rescued her with the help of the monkey warriors, especially with the help of the Monkey King Hanuman. Along the way, the epic teaches Hindu life lessons. Today The Ramayana is told and retold through literature, theatre, orally, in movies, and is referenced in many other forms of popular culture. Nowadays, in Thailand, Ravana and Hanuman deconstruct the role of divine and become folk deities that also find their places in calendar art, advertising and stamps, etc. And in Vietnam, Ravana and Hanuman have become the two figures that can't be absent from Southern Vietnam Khmer ceremonies. In this article, our aim is to show how Ravana and Hanuman became symbols of popular culture (case studies in Thailand and Vietnam). The data provided in this article is drawn from field surveys with reliable reference resources.

현대 사회에서의 정보의 보관과 사용은 그 위치에 상관없이 언제나 어디서든 행해져야 한다. 특히나 많은 스케줄 시간의 싸움 속에서 살아가는 현대인들에게 자신의 시간 관리는 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 현재 사용되는 모바일 아이팟 플랫폼과 개인 스케줄을 사용할 수 있게 제공하는 여러 웹 포탈시스템을 이용하여 두 개체간 스케줄과 주소록을 손쉽게 동기화 하고 이용할 수 있는 시스템을 제안하고 있다. 이 시스템을 통하여 아이팟 내의 스케줄, 주소록 데이터를 하나의 웹 서버에 공유하지 않고 여러 사이트에 손쉽게 동기화 할 수 있도록 함으로서 자료의 손실 줄이고 보다 안정적으로 보관 할 수 있을 것이다.
