小型디젤機關에서 CVS-75 모드에 따른 디젤 酸化觸媒裝置의 排出가스 低減에 關한 實驗的 硏究 (An Experimental Study on Exhaust Gas Reduction of Diesel Oxidation Catalyst by CVS-75 Mode in Light Duty Diesel Engine)

  • Recently, increasing usage of diesel vehicle, many countries try to reduce the pollutant materials by emission regulation standard. Particularly, in our country, the supplement ratio of diesel vehicle is high, and air pollution by particulate matter(PM) is very serious. So, in theoretical study wer analyzed the formation principle of gaseous emission and PM, the characteristics of CVS-75 mode. In experimental study, we tested exhaust gas reduction of emission and PM, the characteristics of CVS-75 mode. In experimental study, we tested exhaust gas reduction of disel oxidation catalyst(DOC) by CVS-75 mode in light duty diesel vehicle. In case of an automobiletest with the 2,956cc diesel engine which DOC was equipped, CVS-75 mode which is similar to driving conditions on the road was chosen as the restrictive mode of light duty diesel automobile in our country. According to the Pt, the reduction rate of exhaust emission was estimated with using 0.1% high sulfur fuel and 0.05% low sulfur fuel.

서울특별시의 주행특성 분석에 관한 연구 (Analysis of the Driving Patterns Concerned with Fuel Economy in Seoul Metropolitan Area)

  • The driving patterns in Seoul metropolitan area were surveyed in an experiment involving 1,212km of driving along seventeen representative routes. The speed and fuel consumption data were recorded and the influence of driving patterns on vehicle fuel economy was analyzed by statistical techniques. The results showed that characteristics of driving in Seoul metropolitan area are far different from that of CVS-75 mode and then on-road fuel economy in Seoul may be small as compared with that of CVS-75 mode. Finally, it was proposed that CVS-75 mode fuel economy should be modified by applying adjustment factor to represent actual on-road fuel economy.

자동차 오염물질 배출계수 산정을 위한 CVS-75모드와 국내차속모드의 상관성 비교 연구 (Comparison of Correlation between CVS-75 Mode and Korea Mode to Estimate Emission Factors from Vehicles)

  • In Korea, the major source of serious air pollution is motor vehicles. Air pollution from vehicles has been annually increased. Then the government will try to control the vehicle emission by applying the effective emission management policy for the manufactured and in-used car. It is necessary to correctly calculate the emission factor for successful propulsion of the vehicle emission control policy. In this study, correlation analysis of exhaust emissions from vehicles between CVS-75 mode and Korea mode was conducted. A total of 25 light-duty buses were tested on the chassis dynamometer system in order to measure CO, HC, NOx PM and fuel efficiency (F.E.). For the test modes, 10 different Korea modes and CVS-75 mode were used. As the result of correlation analysis between those modes, most of the correlation coefficients were higher than 0.90. On the basis of high correlation between those modes, correction factors by driving conditions were estimated. Through the results of this study, we obtained essential basic data to correct difference from those modes.

  • 자동차로부터 배출되는 배출가스의 규제가 최근 더욱 강화되고 있다. 이러한 엄격해지는 규제는 배출가스를 줄이는 대체연료의 개발에 더욱 박차를 가하게 된다. 본 연구는 가솔린, 디젤, LPG 연료를 사용하는 동급의 자동차를 이용하여 배출가스의 특성을 분석 비교하였다. 테스트 모드로는 최근 국내와 북미 배출가스의 주행모드로 사용되는 CVS-75모드를 사용하였다. 배기 특성은 주행조건에 하에서 연구되어졌다. 사용연료인 가솔린, 디젤, LPG연료에 따라 THC, CO, NOx의 배출가스의 특성을 연구했다. 연구결과, LPG연료에 비해 가솔린자동차가 9.8%의 배출가스 감소, 디젤자동차는 12.2% 증가를 나타냈다. 또한 CVS모드에서 가솔린과 LPG는 phase 1의 냉간시동구간에서 THC와 CO는 80%이상을 나타낸다.

  • 본 논문은 현재 출시되어 있는 소프트타입의 현대 아반테 하이브리드자동차와 하드타입 방식의 도요다 프리우스 자동차를 대상으로 차대 동력계상에서 CVS-75 모드를 주행하면서 발생하는 배출가스특성과 연비특성을 실험적으로 분석하였다. 가솔린 차량에 비해 하이브리드 차량의 연비 및 배출가스 특성이 탁월하였으며 특히, 하드타입의 하이브리드 차량이 소프트타입의 차량에 비해 연비개선효과가 우수하게 나타났다.

CVS-75모드에서 사용연료에 따른 자동차의 이산화탄소 배출특성 (Effect of Fuels on $CO_2$ Emission in CVS-75 Mode)

  • The regulation for $CO_2$ emissions from vehicles have become much more stringent in recent years. These more stringent regulations request vehicle manufacturers to develop alternative fuels to reduce exhaust emissions. In this paper, $CO_2$ emission of gasoline, diesel and LPG vehicles in the CVS-75mode is analyzed. The experimental results indicated that the cold starting acceleration period of $CO_2$ emission was much longer compared to the hot start acceleration period. For example, gasoline vehicle and LPG fuel vehicle had 21% higher $CO_2$ emission and diesel vehicle had 34% higher $CO_2$ emission.

  • Recently EU has been recognized that there is a difference of emission quantity between emission certification test mode and real-road driving test. Accordingly the European Commission is currently preparing to require real-road testing as part of the passenger car type-approval process in the EU. vehicle manufacturers from 2017 are expected to test new vehicles not only under laboratory conditions but also on the real-road, using PEMS equipment. Therefore the purpose of this study is to analyze the emission and Fuel Economy of CVS-75 mode test using chassis dynamometer and RDE test using PEMS equipment by PHEV passenger car.

승용차의 도심 주행패턴에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Driving Patterns for Passenger Car in the Metropolitan Area)

  • Vehicle emission is one of the major sources of air pollution, and provides some undesirable effects on the atmospheric environment and human health. In this study, the driving data were recorded during road tests in Seoul metropolitan wet and analyzed by statistical techniques. The objective of the study is to analyze the driving Patterns of passenger car that influence on emissions in urban driving. The results show that the average speed is around 29.2 km/h, and the average fuel economy is 10.23 km/$\ell$. The vehicle speed of Seoul metropolitan area is slower, and the stop-and-go operation is more frequent than CVS-75 test mode which is used far emission and fuel economy test.

  • The fuel economy estimates essentially serve two purposes : to provide consumers with a basis on which to compare the fuel economy of different vehicles, and to provide consumers with a reasonable estimate of the range of fuel economy they can expect to achieve. The current fuel economy label values utilize measured fuel economy over city driving cycles. However, this test driving mode can not be evaluated the variety factor of the real-world. These factors include differences between the way vehicles are driven on the road and over the test cycles, air conditioning use, widely varying ambient temperature and humidity, widely varying trip lengths, wind, precipitation, rough road conditions, hills, etc. The purpose of this paper is to account for three of these factors on the fuel economy : 1) on-road driving patterns (i.e. higher speeds and more aggressive driving (higher acceleration rates)), 2) air conditioning, and 3) colder temperatures. The new test methods will bring into the fuel economy estimates the test results from the five emissions tests in place today : CVS-75, HWFET, US06, SC03 and Cold CVS-75. Based on these new test methods, this paper discusses the characteristics of driving condition on Hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). And this paper assesses the fuel economy label of HEV.

  • 최근에 들어서 이산화탄소가 지구온난화의 원인으로 알려져 있기 때문에 온실가스 문제는 이슈화 되어 왔다. 본 연구는 한국에서 운행 중인 차량에서 이산화탄소 배출가스 영향인자 특성을 파악하고자 했다. 가솔린 자동차 129대, 디젤자동차 100대, LPG 자동차 34대 차량을 차대 동력계에서 시험했다. 시험과정에서 이산화탄소, 일산화탄소 그리고 연료저감율을 측정했다. 실험모드는 현재 한국에서 경차의 배출가스를 규제하기 위해서 배출계수를 산정하기 위해 개발된 CVS-75 모드에서 이루어졌다. 실험 결과 배기량, 연료소비율, 연료 종류, 주행패턴, 마일수 그리고 이산화탄소 사이의 관련성이 조사되었다.
