  • 본 논문은 부분방전 검출 시험 전에 수행하는 Calibration 신호 주입 및 검출 방법에 대한 연구이다. 사용된 시료는 지중케이블의 절연층으로 사용되는 XLPE 시트와 XLPE케이블이다. 실험방법은 50kV 내전압기(750-2CTS, Hipotronics)로부터 공급된 Calibration 신호를 Lemke (LDP-5, LDIC), 오실로스코프 (TDS-3012, Tektronix)와 주파수 분석기 (8563E, HP)를 사용하여 측정하였다. 시험에 사용된 센서로는 자체 제작한 박전극센서, UHF 센서 그리고 Lemke UHF 센서를 사용하였다. 위 방법을 통해 신호의 형태와 인가 전하량에 따른 Calibration 파형과 전하량 변화를 비교하였다. 실험결과 Calibration 신호 주입시 시험 환경 및 센서에 따라 Calibration 신호와 주입방법의 차이가 발생하였다.

  • 본 논문은 부분방전검출 시험 전에 수행하는 Calibration 신호 주입 및 검출 방법에 대한 연구이다. 사용된 시료는 활선상의 배전용 XLPE 케이블이다. 실험방법은 50kV 내전압기 (750-2CTS, Hipotronics)로부터 공급된 Calibration 신호를 Lemke (LDP-5, LDIC), 오실로스코프 (TDS-3012, Tektronix)와 주파수 분석기 (8563E, HP)를 사용하여 측정하였다. 마지막으로 시험에 사용된 센서는 안테나 특성의 UHF 센서와 고주파 특성의 HFCT 센서이다. 실험결과, Calibration 신호 주입 시 시험 환경 및 센서에 따라 Calibration 신호와 주입방법의 차이가 발생하였다. 따라서 신호의 형태와 인가 전하량에 따른 Calibration 파형과 전하량 변화를 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper introduces a test bed for communication protocol schemes of underwater acoustic sensor network, and also shows experimental results obtained from the test bed. As a testing protocol, carrier sense multiple access/collision avoidance (CSMA/CA) is evaluated on underwater acoustic channel. A sensor node is equipped with a DSP control board of ATmega2560 and a commercial underwater modem produced by Benthos. The control board not only manipulates a GPS signal to acquire the information of location and time, but also controls the underwater modem to operate according to the procedure designed for a given testing protocol. Whenever any event takes place such as exchanging control/data packets between underwater modems and acquiring location and timing information, each sensor node reports them through radio frequency (RF) air interface to a central station located on the ground. The four kinds of packets for CSMA/CA, RTS(Request To Send), CTS(Clear to Send), DATA, ACK(Acknowledgement) are designed according to the underwater communication environment and are analyzed through the lake experiment from the point of feasibility of CSMA/CA in underwater acoustic communications.

  • Most cracks in the structure occur under mixed mode loading and those fatigue crack propagation behavior heavily depends on the stress ratio. So, it is necessary to study the fatigue behavior under mixed mode loading as the stress ratio changes. In this paper, the fatigue crack propagation behavior was respectively investigated at stress ratio 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 and we changed the loading application angle into 0$^{\circ}$, 30$^{\circ}$, 60$^{\circ}$ to apply various loading mode. The mode I and II stress intensity factor of CTS specimen used in this study was calculated by the displacement extrapolation method using FEM (ABAQUS). Using both the experiment and FEM analysis, we have concluded the relationship between crack propagation rate and stress intensity factor range at each loading mode due to the variation of stress ratio. Also, when the crack propagated under given stress ratio and loading mode condition, we have concluded the dominant factors of the crack propagation rate at each case.

  • The use of fracture mechanics has traditionally concentrated on crack growth under an opening mechanism. However, many service failure occur from cracks subjected to mixed mode loadings. Hence, it is necessary to evaluate the fatigue behavior under mixed mode loading. Under mixed mode loading conditions, not only the fatigue crack propagation rate is of importance, but also the crack propagation direction. The mode I and II stress intensity factors of CTS specimen were calculated using elastic finite element method. The propagation behavior of the fatigue crack of the STS304 steeds under mixed mode loading condition was evacuated by using stress intensity factors $K_I$ and $K_II. The MTS criterion and effective stress intensity factor were applied to predict the crack propagation direction and the fatigue crack propagation rate.

  • 본 논문에서는 무선 LAN의 MAC 계층 프로토콜을 고속으로 처리하는 MAC 기능 칩을 개발하였다. 개발된 MAC 칩은 CPU와의 인터페이스를 위한 제어 레지스터들과 인터럽트 체계를 가지고 있으며, 프레임 단위로 송수신 데이터를 처리한다. 또한 PFDM 방식 물리계층 모뎀을 위한 직렬전송 인터페이스를 가지고 있다. 개발된 MAC 칩은 크게 프로토콜제어기능 블록, 송신기능 블록 및 수신기능 블록 등으로 구성되었으며, IEEE 802.11 규격에 제시된 대부분의 DCF 기능을 지원한다. 구현된 MAC 칩의 동작을 검증하기 위해 RTS-CTS 절차 기능, IFS(Inter Frame Space) 기능, 액세스 절차, 백오프 절차, 재전송 기능, 분할된(fragmented) 프레임 송수신 기능, 중복수신 프레임 검출 기능, 가상 캐리어 검출기능(NAV 기능), 수신에러 발생 경우 처리 기능, Broadcast 프레임 송수신 기능, Beacon 프레임 송수신 기능, 송수신 FIFO 동작 기능 등을 시뮬레이션을 통해 시험하였으며, 시험 결과 모두 정상적으로 동작함을 확인하였다. 본 논문을 통해 개발된 MAC 기능 칩을 이용할 경우 고속 무선 LAN 시스템의 CPU 부하(load)와 펌웨어의 크기를 크게 줄일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • Tests and evaluations following the U.S. MIL-HDBK/STANDARD were successfully conducted to assure the performance of the air-to-surface guidance kit which was developed first in Korea. Various ground tests confirmed the operation capability and reliability of the guidance kit, and flight tests proved very good mid-range gliding performance and accuracy of the gliding bomb which was a general purpose bomb with the guidance kit.

Control Thresholds (CTs) of Imported Cabbage Worm (Artogeia rapae L.) for Chinese Cabbage in Korea (배추에 대한 배추흰나비(Artogeia rapae L.)의 요방제수준)

  • This study was conducted to estimate the control thresholds (CTs) of imported cabbage worm, Artogeia rapae L., injuring Chinese cabbage. The second instar larvae of A. rapae were inoculated with five density levels on each Chinese cabbages transplanted three weeks earlier under greenhouse condition, and checked injury rates after allowing their feeding for one week and two weeks, respectively. The average leaf area consumed by single larvae was 657.7 $mm^2$ in plots inoculated at three weeks after transplanting (WAT) and 2495.8 $mm^2$ in plots at 6-WAT, respectively. In the field experiment, different numbers of A. rapae ranged from one to seven larvae were inoculated on 20 plants. The percent yield reduction (Y) of Chinese cabbage infested by different densities of A. rapae (X) for a three-week period was estimated by the following equation; (1) Y=1.764X-0.3049 ($R^2$=0.9901) in plots inoculated at 3-WAT; and (2) Y=1.0305X-0.2976 ($R^2$=0.9398) in plots inoculated at 6-WAT. Based on the relationships between the densities of A. rapae larvae and the yield index of Chinese cabbage, the number of second instar larvae which caused 5% loss of yield (gain threshold proposed by Japan), was estimated as 3.0 per 20 plants for the 3-WAT and 5.1 for the 6-WAT.

Determination of Economic Injury Levels (EILs) and Control Thresholds (CTs) of Aphis egomae (Hom.: Aphididae) in Green Perilla (들깨진딧물의 경제적 피해수준과 요방제수준 설정에 관한 연구)

  • According to the preceding survey on insect pests of the green perilla, Perilla frutescens var. japonica HARA, The major pests were Aphis egomae Shinji, Pyrausta panopealis (Walker), Tetranychus urticae Koch, Polyphagotarsonemus lotus Banks, Tetranychus kanzawai Kishida at Guemsan, Chungnam, 2004. Aphis egomae causes nearly 100% injury of the green perilla in uncontrolled green houses. A field study was conducted to estimate economic injury levels (EILs) and control thresholds (CTs) for A. egomae injuring green perilla in green houses. Different densities of A. egomae ranged from 1 to 80 aphids per 100 plants in early inoculation. The mean injurying rate of plant was 2.4% to 40.5% at the end of June at differently inoculated levels. The economic loss time calculated by the ratio of cost managing aphid to market price (C/V) (C: cost managing aphid, V: Market price) in early season (from May to 13. June) was 5.8% and in peak season (from 13. June to 30. June) was 9.3%. Economic injury level in early and peak season was 5.3 aphids per plant and economic injury levels in peak season were 0.6 aphids per plant and 7.6% injured rate of plant. The control thresholds calculated by 80% level of economic injury level in peak season were 0.5aphids per plant and 6.1% injury rate of plant, respectively.

  • It is necessary to evaluate the fatigue behavior of rail steel under the multi-axial stress state to assure the railway vehicle's safety. For this purpose, the stress analysis to investigate the crack initiation criteria, static failure and fatigue behavior under mixed-mode are performed. The stress analysis results show that the initiation of the transverse fissure depends on the maximum shear stress below the surface. For the mixed mode, the fatigue crack growth behavior which is represented by the projection crack length and comparative S.I.F, ${\Delta}K_v$, shows the more conservative results. Also, its rate is lower than that of the case of the mode I, and this difference decreases with increasing the stress ratio, R.
