기업교육 컨텐츠 개발 연구 - 중국 진출을 위한 CSR 전략을 중심으로 (A Study on the Development of the Contents in Corporate Education Programme - Focusing on the CSR Strategy in China)

  • 중국은 국가의 발전계획 목표를 바탕으로 한 기업의 사회적 책임(CSR) 정책과 평가기준으로 기업의 경영활동을 평가하고 있다. 이러한 평가는 중국 시장에 진출해 있거나 또는 진출을 희망하는 한국 기업들에게 매우 중요한 이슈로서 중국의 CSR 발전과정 및 특징에 대한 이해가 선행되어야 할 것으로 판단된다. 이에, 본 연구는 중국의 정치적 특수성을 기반으로 한 CSR 발전 과정과 동향, 관련 제도 및 기업사례를 분석하였다. 이를 통해 중국사회와 대중이 요구하는 CSR에 대한 이해와 경영전략으로 활용하고자 하는 기업들을 위하여 CSR 이행전략의 제시와 CSR 교육 프레임을 제시하였다.

Can Socially Responsible Foreign Firms Attract Local Talents?

  • Purpose - Drawing upon signaling and social identity theories, this study explores the effect of engagement in CSR activities by foreign firms on applicants' intention to apply. Furthermore, this study suggests CSR education as a moderator which strengthens the positive effects of the engagement in CSR activities on the intention to apply for potential job seekers. Research design, data, and methodology - One hundred and ninety-one undergraduate students were solicited to participate in this study. Participants were randomly assigned to two scenarios depicting different levels of a given foreign firm's engagement in CSR activities. After reading the given scenario, respondents answered a series of questions on their intention to apply to the foreign organization. Result - The results from hierarchical regression reveal that Korean applicants have a more favorable perception of a foreign firm which performs engagement in positive CSR activities. Moreover, the positive effect of the engagement in CSR activities on the intention to apply has a greater impact for Korean applicants who had CSR education. Conclusion - The result indicates that foreign firms could overcome the liabilities of foreignness and attract local talent effectively, by engaging in CSR activities. Moreover, this study suggests the important role of CSR education, and significantly contributes to the international recruiting literature.

기업의 사회적 책임(CSR) 인식이 조직 구성원들의 창의성에 미치는 영향 : 컴페션의 매개효과와 CSR진정성의 조절효과 (The Effect of CSR Perception On Creativity : The Mediating Effect of Compassion and the Moderating Effect of CSR Authenticity)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내 대기업 종업원의 CSR인식이 컴페션을 매개변수로 종업원의 창의성에 영향을 미치는지와 더불어, 그 관계가 CSR 진정성에 의해 조절되는가를 실증하는 것이다. 연구 절차는 표본 수집 후 빈도분석과 CFA분석을 수행하였고, 가설검증 및 조절효과 검증을 수행하였다. 본 연구에서는 국내 대기업에 종사하는 종업원 360명을 표본으로 실증적 분석을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, CSR인식이 컴페션에 미치는 긍정적인 영향이 유의하게 검증되었고, 컴페션이 창의성에 미치는 긍정적인 영향 역시 유의하게 검증되었다. 둘째, 종업원들의 CSR인식이 창의성에 미치는 긍정적인 효과 또한 유의하게 검증되었다. 셋째, CSR인식과 창의성의 긍정적인 관계에서 컴페션의 매개효과와 CSR진정성의 조절효과가 모두 유의하게 실증되었다. 본 연구는 종업원들의 이 기업의 CSR을 인식할 때 컴페션의 감정을 형성할 뿐 아니라 CSR의 진정성을 인식하게 될 때 개인적인 창의성 향상에 더욱 긍정적인 영향을 미치게 될 것이라는 점을 실증했다는데서 의의를 가진다.

의료기관의 사회적 책임활동에 대한 종사자의 수용태도에 관한 연구 (A study on the hospital employee's attitude towards CSR)

  • The researches on corporate social responsibility(CSR) focused mostly on its effects on financial performance or consumer's behavior. However relatively few studies have dealt with employee's attitude towards CSR. The purpose of this study is to analyze determinants of hospital employee's attitude towards CSR. The data were collected from 163 employees at a general hospital in Gyeonggi-do from June 18 to July 18 in 2012. For the statistical analysis of data, t-test, ANOVA, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were implemented. The result of hierarchical multiple regression analysis shows that first, perceived management support and direct benefits were positively related to the attitude towards the acceptance of CSR while interruption of work was negatively related. Second, as interruption of work was controlled, the statistically significant relationship between clinical department and attitude towards the acceptance of CSR was disappeared. In order to accommodate CSR in hospitals, first, the enterprise-wide support is more effective rather than expecting the action of each employee. Second, hospitals should provide the education about CSR to let employees expect direct benefits such as improving of their moral sense. Third, the burden of work causing interruption needs to be managed to cause employees to accept CSR.

The Historical Paradigm of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Korea

  • This study will provide an overview of the development of 'Corporate Social Responsibility' (CSR) in South Korea throughout time, as well as its sources of inspiration and recommendations. The study will also rely on the body of existing research to provide insights into the present condition of CSR in the nation and the measures launched to promote socially responsible practices in the corporate environment. As a result, it will act as a crucial dedication to comprehending corporate social responsibility within the Korean environment. According to the searching results in the literature content dataset, there has been total four historical paradigm of CSR in South Korea, such as (1) Adoption of the CSR principles, (2) Introduction of the Korean Association of Social Responsibility, (3) The Seoul Environmental Charter, (4) The Board of Audit and Inspection Intervention. Based on the results of the current study, the present author could conclude that ingrained corporate social responsibility (CSR) is in Korean business culture, which has been promoted since the 1920s. Businesses can benefit by using the guidelines offered by the CSR Promotion Act and related activities to uphold their responsibilities towards society and the environment, overviewing comprehensively CSR advancement in South Korea from the 1920s to the display day.

환대관광산업 소규모기업 사회적 책임활동(CSR): 회사 홈페이지 커뮤니케이션 분석을 중심으로 (Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Small Enterprises in Hospitality and Tourism Industry)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to explore the CSR activities of small enterprises in hospitality and tourism industry in South Korea. Since previous research on CSR activities has considerably focused on large enterprises whereas small enterprises have relatively less attention, this study aims to explore the characteristics of small enterprises in hospitality and tourism industry and their CSR activities. Research design, data, and methodology - The population of interest for this study was social enterprises registered in Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency (2016), and it was used to verify the social enterprises which has a certification for social enterprises. From 1672 companies in total, the sampling frame was a database with 117 companies in hospitality and tourism industry. This study investigates social enterprises' CSR activities on the company's official websites (e.g., company reports, magazines, the news articles, and interviews). The websites of the selected enterprises in hospitality and tourism industry were analyzed for examining CSR activities by the quantitative content analysis. All of the CSR activities in small social enterprises were classified into six dimensions based on the stakeholder theory. Results - The findings of this study provide the characteristics of the 117 small social enterprises and their specific CSR initiatives. A total of eight main business lines were identified: 1) fair travel, 2) leisure/sports, 3) accommodation/camping, 4) medical tourism, 5) exhibitions/art events/cultural events, 6) leisure activities for vulnerable social groups, 7) Korean traditional culture, and 8) ecotourism/agricultural tourism. The CSR initiatives were classified into six dimensions: 1) environment, 2) employment, 3) multicultural families and vulnerable social groups, 4) local community, 5) economic prosperity, and 6) product. Conclusions - This study revealed the special CSR initiative examples of small enterprises in hospitality and tourism industry. Small social enterprises participate in CSR activities mainly related to their own business lines. Moreover, these enterprises are more closely embedded in their local community development, job creation and education for local residents and vulnerable social groups, and traditional heritage preservation. The findings of this study provide theoretical and practical implications and they can contribute to enrich CSR with literature for small enterprises in hospitality and tourism industry.

CSR 구성요인이 기업이미지를 통해 고객만족과 고객시민행동에 미치는 영향 (The effect of CSR components on customer satisfaction and customer civic behavior through corporate image)

  • 본 연구에서는 기업의 사회적 책임(CSR)의 이론적 배경을 기반으로 CSR의 본질과 관련한 기업의 현황을 알아보고 그 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 국내 휴대폰 시장에서 점유율이 높은 삼성, LG, Apple 등을 이용하는 소비자를 대상으로 CSR의 구성요소가 기업이미지, 고객만족, 고객시민행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 설문조사를 시행하여 213부를 구조방정식모형 분석에 사용하였으며. CSR의 구성요인 중에서는 경제적 책임, 법적책임, 윤리적 책임, 자선적 책임과 같은 네 가지 요인이 도출되었다. 결과적으로 경제적 책임, 윤리적 책임, 자선적 책임은 모두 기업이미지에 정(+)의 영향이 검증되었다. 그러나 법적 책임은 기업이미지에 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 기업이미지는 고객만족과 고객시민행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 기업 차원에서 종업원들의 CSR에 대한 본질적 이해를 돕고 고객이 인지하는 CSR의 수준을 높일 수 있도록 기업의 이해관계자들에 대한 체계적인 CSR 관련 정보공개 및 교육 시스템의 구축을 강구할 필요가 있다는 것을 시사한다.

브랜드 신뢰와 사회적 CSR 동기귀인이 환경친화적 라인확장에 미치는 영향 (The effects of brand trust and attributions on the eco-friendly line extension)

  • Recently, some fashion retailers have initiated sustainable actions in the form of corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities to address consumers' social concerns. This study intends to combine the concept of CSR motivation attributions with brand extension literature in order to examine how consumers' trust of a parent brand affects their CSR motivation attributions and ultimately their attitudes towards parent-brand CSR activities and sustainable extension lines. A self-administered online survey was conducted using scenarios describing a fast fashion retailer introducing a sustainable line. Data from 303 female U.S. consumers, aged between 18 and 34 years, were used for the statistical analysis. Data analyses were conducted using SPSS 21.0 for descriptive analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and regression analysis. The results revealed that all hypotheses were supported. The findings show that consumers' trust of a parent brand has an indirect impact on positive attitudes towards the parent brand's CSR activities as well as the sustainable extension product line, mediating positive evaluations of the brand's social CSR motivations. In addition, this study suggests consumers' prior trust of the parent brand is a variable that affects consumers' evaluation of CSR motivation sincerity. Marketing suggestions and thoughts based on the findings of this study were provided.

한국과 미국의 미디어 기업 CSR 활동 비교 사례 연구 (A Comparative Case Study on the CSR Activities between Korean and US Media Companies)

  • 본 연구는 한국과 미국의 미디어 기업들이 수행하는 CSR 활동 목표, 대상, 추진방법, 그리고 CSR 활동 전략을 비교함으로써 양국 미디어 기업의 사회적 책임 활동의 특성을 파악하려는 목적을 가지고 있다. 구체적으로 한국과 미국의 지상파 방송사, 통신기업, 인터넷 기업의 CSR 활동 사례를 비교하였다. 연구결과, 한국 미디어 기업의 경우, CSR 목표와 대상이 사회적 약자에 대한 지원, 자사의 기술 및 경험을 통한 사회문제 해결, 자사 비즈니스 연결을 통한 관련 시장 확장에 주안점을 두고 공익캠페인과 지역사회봉사 방식을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에, 미국 미디어 기업은 내부 이해관계자, 즉 자사 종업원에 대한 복지 향상, ESG 인식 전환, 교육, 조직문화 등에 초점을 맞추며, 사회책임경영실천을 주요 추진방법으로 사용하였다. CSR 활동 전략은 국가 간 차이보다 매체 간 차이에서 더 극명하게 나타났다. 특히, 양국의 통신기업들이 CSR 활동 전략을 체계적으로 수행하는 것으로 나타났다.

Analysis of Impact on ERP Customization Module Using CSR Data

  • The enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is a standardized and advanced business process that many companies are implementing now-a-days through customization. However, it affects the efficiency of operations as these customizations are based on uniqueness. In this study, we analyzed the impact of customized modules and processing time on customer service request (CSR), by utilizing the stacked CSR data during the construction and operation of ERP, focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As a result, a positive correlation was found between unit companies and the length of ERP implementation; ERP modules and the length of ERP implementation; ERP modules and unit companies; and the type of ERP implementation and ERP module. In terms of CSR, a comparison of CSR processing time of CBO (customized business object) module and STD (standard) module revealed that while the five modules did not display statistically significant differences, one module demonstrated a statistically very significant difference. In sum, the analysis indicates that the CBO-type CSR and its processing cost are higher than those of STD-type CSR. These results indicate that companies planning to implement an ERP system should consider the ERP module and their customization ratio and level. It not only gives the theoretical validity that should be considered as an indicator for decision making when ERP is constructed, but also its implications on the impact of processing time suggesting that the maintenance costs and project scheduling of ERP software must also be considered. This study is the first to present the degree of impact on the operation and maintenance of customized modules based on actual data and can provide a theoretical basis for applying SW change ratio in the cost estimation of ERP system maintenance.
