Halo Effect in Evaluating Government Funded Art Programs: The Case of Local Representative Performing Art Festivals (정부지원 공연예술행사 평가의 후광효과: 지역대표공연예술제 성과관리 체계를 중심으로)

  • This research empirically investigated halo effect in evaluating culture and art performance program. We diagnosed halo effect by using correlation analysis, factor analysis, and regression model on results and scores of fifteen evaluation indicators within three categories for the 107 Local Representative Performance Art Festivals in 2014 and 2015. The results indicates strong possibility of halo effect in culture and art performance evaluation. The correlation coefficients between evaluation indicators is higher than 0.5 and factor structure does not match with evaluation categories in both years. Scores in categories and standard deviations also are also significantly correlated with each other. The results implies that more sophisticated standard, diversification of evaluator, education, and meta-anlysis are need to control halo effect.

Numerical Study of Mixed Convection Nanofluid in Horizontal Tube (수평원형관내 나노유체의 혼합대류에 관한 수치적 연구)

  • Laminar mixed convection of a nanofluid consists of water and $Al_2O_3$ in a horizontal circular tube has been studied numerically. Two-phase mixture model has been used to investigate hydrodynamic and thermal behaviors of the nanofluid with variables physical properties. Three dimensional Navier-Stokes, energy and volume fraction equations have been discretized using the finite volume method. The Brownian motions of nanoparticles have been considered to determine the thermal conductivity and dynamic viscosity of $Al_2O_3$-Water nanofluid, which depend on temperature. The calculated results show good agreement with the previous numerical data. Results show that in a given Reynolds number (Re), increasing solid nanoparticles volume fraction and Richardson number (Ri) increases the convective heat transfer coefficient and wall shear stress.

The Effect of Nurse Work Environment and Reciprocity on Job Embeddedness in the Small and Medium Sized Hospital Nurses (중소병원 간호사의 간호근무환경과 호혜성이 직무배태성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of nursing work environment and reciprocity on job embeddedness in the small and medium size hospital nurses. The data were collected from questionnaires filled out by 206 nurses. Data collection was performed from March 4 to 22, 2019. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 25.0 program. As a result of the research, the study model accounted for 66.0% of job embeddedness. The most powerful variable affecting job embeddedness was support system of nurse, among sub - variables of nursing work environment. Therefore, nursing managers should improve the nurse's job embeddedness by creating nursing work environment that supports nurses such as salary improvement, professional development and promotion opportunities. In addition, it suggests that improvement of hospital and nursing organization system is needed to maintain cooperative relationship with nursing team or other health care professionals.

Feasibility and Reliability Analysis of Convergent Job Measurement Tool for Elementary School Health Teachers (초등학교 보건교사를 위한 융복합적 직무측정도구의 타당도와 신뢰도 분석)

  • This study aims to evaluate of validity and reliability of the job performance tool already developed for the elementary school health teachers. 305 health teachers responded to the questionnaire composed of 50 items. The validity and reliability of the tool were verified by confirmatory factor analysis. That were composed of 8 sub-categories and had 4 factors. The importance, frequency, and difficulty of the four factors were classified according to the questionnaire criteria, but the importance of health promotion is classified as one new item factor. The statistical significance of the fit of the model was 3.664 (df = 246, p<0.001), RMSEA=0.09, NFI=0.85 and CFI=0.88. The internal consistency of the subscales was Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ of 0.88 to 0.96. The internal consistency of the subscales, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ was 0.88~0.96. This study shows that the analysis tool for primary school health teacher is valid and reliable as a measurement tool.

Experience and Task of Public Guardianship Service Activity for the mentally disabled -in Perspectives of advocacy (정신장애인의 공공후견서비스 활동 경험과 과제 -권익옹호의 관점에서)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the experiences and challenges of public guardianship services project for the mental disabled as a system of supporting the decision-making and the rights advocacy. For this purpose, interviews with 11 social workers who act as public guardians were conducted and a model of practice was suggested through analysis using the grounded theory of Strauss and Corbin(1998). As a results, the possibility of rights advocacy through public guardian services for the mentally disabled, the positive change of attitude of the facilities and the establishment of direction for the restoration of rights for the mentally disabled were derived. Public guardians experienced excessive empowerment of their guardians or difficulties in the process of their duties, but were also able to defend the rights of the mental disabled and support self-determination right. Through this study, expansion of budgets and expansion of beneficiaries for public guardianship services, establishment of infrastructure for integration in the community, set-up a support organization for public guardian services and Raising awareness of the mental disabled and public guardian services were suggested.

  • The ERP System is used as a useful tool for corporate management. The ERP system needs to be researched for continued use, taking into account the mandatory acceptance environment. This study was validated through AMOS 18 by setting up a model that adds variables in the mandatory acceptance environment based on prior studies on factors affecting the intended use of ERP system. Analysis shows that the intended use of ERP system users is significantly influenced by user satisfaction and objective usefulness, and that user satisfaction and objective usefulness are significantly affected by the quality of service quality of service. This study suggests that it is important to make users to feel the usefulness and satisfaction of the system through user's prior knowledge and participation. It also says that there is a need to maintain service quality.

  • In spite of various safety measures, coastal safety accidents continue to occur, so this study focused on using drones as countermeasures. Municipalities that already have coasts have begun operating unmanned multicopters for coastal safety management. In particular, by connecting an unmanned multi-copter to the currently applied smart city safety net system, it is possible to transmit real-time images of the scene in case of emergency in the coastal area to the local government safety information center. It is also expected to contribute significantly to strengthening safety management in coastal waters through a more rapid response to safety accidents. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the use of drones as an alternative to the limitations of the domestic coastal safety system by investigating the state of coastal safety accidents and analyzing the state of domestic coastal safety systems. In addition, it is expected to be a key breakthrough in the coastal area safety system by proposing a model linking the Korean K-Drone system.

The Study on the Relationship between Perceived Service Employee Support and Customer Silence in Failure Situation (서비스 실패상황에서 서비스종업원지원인식과 고객침묵의 관계에 관한 연구)

  • This study examines the effects of perceived service employee support on customer's negative silence, defensive silence and acquiescent silence, and the effects of such negative silence on relationship retention intention. Through this, we would like to discuss the negative effects of customer's negative silence and suggest strategies to reduce negative silence. This study employed questionnaire survey. The total number of questionnaires used in the final analysis was 220. A structural equation model was used for hypothesis analysis. As a result, the perceived service employee support has a significant negative effect on the defensive silence and acquiescent silence in the failure situation. In addition, acquiescent silence had a significant negative effect on relationship retention intentions and defensive silence had no significant effect on relationship retention intentions. Acquiescent silence had a higher negative effect on relationship maintenance intention than defensive silence, indicating that acquiescent silence was worse than defensive silence.

  • This study aims to establish a research model to analyze the structural relationship between the working environment of the elderly medical welfare facility workers, the trust of the manager, and the quality of service. As a result, first, it was found that there was a significant causal relationship among service quality in the working environment of the elderly medical welfare facility workers. Second, it was found that there was a significant causal relationship between the working environment and the trust of managers of the elderly medical welfare facility workers. Therefore, in order to achieve the goal of the elderly medical welfare facility and improve the quality of service, it is necessary to create a working environment and establish a trust relationship among members. In addition, in order to cultivate competency and provide high-quality services for the elderly medical welfare facility workers, managers need to understand the individual characteristics of members, and to assign duties according to roles, accurate division of duties and personnel management are required.

The Relationship between Job Stress, Organizational Trust, and the Job Change Intentions of Beauty Industry Workers: Verification of the Mediating Effect of Organizational Trust (뷰티산업종사자의 직무 스트레스와 조직신뢰, 이직의도와의 관계: 조직신뢰의 매개효과 검증)

  • The study analyzes the relationship between job stress, organizational trust, and the job change intentions of beauty industry workers. Three-hundred sixty-nine workers in the beauty industry with longer than three months of working experience were chosen as this study. The study used to perform frequency analysis, exploratory factor and reliability, correlation, confirmation, and structural equation model verification. The following results are as follows. First, job stress had a positive influence. Second, stress related to fairness had a negative effect on organizational trust. Third, organizational trust had a negative effects. In conclusion, organizational trust and stress related to fairness are the important variables. Furthermore, this study suggests that each organization needs to make an effort to increase organizational trust and to relieve stress related to fairness in order to reduce the job change intentions.
