This study was conducted to investigate the effective ratio of Sulgidduk to steaming chesnut powder. I measured the sensory and mechanical characteristics, moisture content and color values of Sulgidduk added by different amount 4 of types of steaming chestnut powder; 0% (Control-0 group), 1% (CP-1 group), 2% (CP-2 group), 3% (CP-3 group), 4% (CP-4 group). Moisture content of Sulgidduk with steaming chestnut powder ranged from 38.53% to 46.05%. The L-value and b-value of the color decreased with an increase in steaming chestnut powder; however, a-value of the color decreased with an increase in steaming chestnut powder. As a result of analysis the texture of Sulgidduk steaming chestnut powder, it's hardness, springiness was increased. According to the sensory evaluation, CP3 had the highest values in texture and overall acceptability. Based on the result, it's considered that the most desirable ratio is steaming chestnut powder CP3. The results of the study supported the benefits of steaming chestnut powder supplementation in Sulgidduk in the aspects of taste and functionality. The degree of further increase in Sulgidduk with steaming chestnut powder without causing an adverse quality effect, remain for future study.

A digital technique is adopted to calibrate the current mismatch of the charge pump (CP) in phase-locked loops. A 2 GHz charge pump PLL (CPPLL) is used to justify the proposed calibration technique. The proposed digital calibration technique is implemented simply using a counter. The proposed calibration technique reduces the calibration time by up to a maximum of 50% compared other with techniques. Also by using a dual-mode CP, good current matching characteristics can be achieved to compensate $0.5{\mu}A$ current mismatch in CP. It was designed in a standard $0.13{\mu}m$ CMOS technology. The maximum calibration time is $33.6{\mu}s$ and the average power is 18.38mW with 1.5V power supply and effective area is $0.1804mm^2$.

We have fabricated simple triple-layer blue-emitting phosphorescent organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) using different thicknesses of N,N'-dicarbazolyl-3,5-benzene (mCP) host layers doped with bis[(4,6-di-fluorophenyl)-pyridinate-N,$C^{2'}$]picolmate (FIrpic) guest materials. The thicknesses of mCP:FIrpic layers were 5, 10, and 30 nm. Driving voltage, current and power efficiencies were investigated. The current efficiency was higher in the 10 nm thick mCP:FIrpic device, resulting from the better electron-hole balance. The device with 10 nm mCP:FIrpic layer exhibited the maximum current efficiency of 22.5 cd/A and power efficiency of 7.4 lm/W at a luminance of 1000 cd/$m^2$.

The degradation of o-chlorophenol(o-CP) in the presence of NaOH and the byproducts formed were investigated in a supercritical water(SCW) destruction process. The conversion of o-CP in the absence of NaOH was less than 20%, however it showed 100% conversion in the presence of NaOH(mole ratio[NaOH]/[o-CP] over than 2) with a residence time of less than 1 second. The formation of PAHs and the phenolic compounds formed were decreased in the presence of NaOH. The results revealed that the formation of byproducts during the destruction of o-CP in SCW was effected by the addition of NaOH. Phenol, cresols, chlorinated phenols, PAHs, p,p'-dihydroxybiphenyl and oxygenated polyaromatic compounds such as 1-indanone, dibenzofuran and dibenzo-p-dioxin were detected in both conditions(presence and absence of NaOH). At the same time, in the presence of NaOH, 2-ethylphenol, o-hydroxyacetophenone, hydroquinone, 4-allylphenol, 3-phenoxyphenol and 4,4'-oxybisphenol were also detected. The observed results suggest that the destruction of o-CP in SCW with NaOH occurs through a number of complicated reaction pathways. Dibenzofuran and dibenzo-p-dioxin were also detected during destruction of o-CP by SCW. The above observation suggests that there may be a common relationship between the thermal incineration process and SCW decomposition process.
Purpose: This study was designed to determine the test-retest, inter-rater, and intra-rater reliability of the Pediatric Balance Scale (PBS) when applied to children with cerebral palsy (CP). Methods: Subjects were out-patient children with cerebral palsy at four CP clinics in Gyeonggyi-do and Chungcheong nam-do. For test-retest and inter-rater reliability studies, the PBS was used twice on 7 separate days by twenty-four children with CP. To assess intra-rater reliability, 10 CP subjects were selected by random sampling. Four pediatric-trained physical therapists with 2-13 years of clinical experience scored the children’s performance blindly, while replaying videotaped data. Results: There was no significant difference in total scores (ICC 3,1=0.89, 0.93, 0.90, and 0.91) measured by each of the four therapists on two occasions. The Inter-rater reliability assessed the 1st and 2nd time was high (1stICC 3,1=0.91, 2nd ICC 3,1=0.93). The intra-rater reliability measured by each of the four therapists using the 2nd scores was also high (ICC 3,1=0.98, 0.99, 0.97, and 0.98). Conclusion: The PBS is reliable. We believe that it can be used in characterizing children with CP.
Objective : This study is conducted to evaluate the efficiency of ethanol extracts of 4 mixed herbs(CP001 or CP002) on mouse model of atopic dermatitis induced by ovalbumin. Methods : Female BALB/c mice were internally sensitized with ovalbumin($20{\mu}g$) plus aluminum hydroxide hydrate(4mg) once per week. After 3 weeks, they were dermally challenged with patches containing ovalbumin ($100{\mu}g$) plus aluminum hydroxide hydrate(20mg) every other day for 3 weeks. After induction of atopic dermatitis, mice back skin were gently rubbed with CP001 or CP002(200mg/$m{\ell}$, $100{\mu}{\ell}$) for two weeks(every 2 days). Results : In CP001 or CP002 treated group, there was a remarkable reduction in infiltration of eosinophils on the skin areas and diminution of mast cells and total T cells in blood samples as compared with control group. Cutaneous expressions of interleukin-13, 17 were also decreased by CP001 or CP002. Moreover, blood immunoglobulin E level was decreased by drug administration while there was no decrease in OVA sensitization group. Conclusion : In summary, our result shows that herbal extracts(CP001 and CP002) could be potential candidates for the treatment of chronic atopic dermatitis.
This study compared the effects of two levels of crude protein (CP) supplementation during a close-up dry period on the productive performance, nitrogen balance, and blood profiles of Holstein cows. Eighteen cows (8 primigravid and 10 multiparous), 21 days prior to calving, were divided into four groups and fed a diet containing a low (11.5 to 12.7% CP) or high (14.1 to 15.3% CP) level of protein. Following parturition, all cows were offered the same diet. Nitrogen balance was measured 12 d to 10 d prior to the expected calving date. Whole feces and urine were collected. The higher close-up CP did not improve milk production during the early lactation period (14 w) in multiparous cows but tended to increase production by 2 kg of milk per day in primigravid cows. There were no differences in the weight of calves, the weight of the placenta, or the incidence of calving difficulty. Nitrogen intake, urine nitrogen and nitrogen retention were increased by the higher CP diet in primigravid and multiparous cows. All groups of cows showed a positive nitrogen balance. In particular, higher nitrogen retention was observed in primigravid cows fed the higher CP diet. With the exception of plasma urea nitrogen (PUN), non of the blood profiles were influenced by the CP level. The higher close-up CP increased the PUN during the period studied in primigravid and multiparous cows. These results indicate that a CP level of 14% during a close-up dry period is optimal for primigravid cows, and 12% CP level is sufficient for multiparous cows.
This study aims to provide the physicochemical properties of three kinds of organosmectites which can be diversely used in industries. Some properties of them were compared with Nasmectite. Three kinds of organosmectites such as Hexadecyltrimethylammonium(HDTMA), Benzyldimethyltetradecylammonium(BDTDA), and Cetylpyridinium(CP) exchanged smectites were manufactured for this study. Three types of organosmectites showed the alkaline character(pH 9), very low swelling property and viscosity, and a fast flocculation behavior because of strong hydrophobic property in contrast to hydrophilic Nasmectite. Three organosmectites showed the strong interlayer expansion with basal spacing from $19\AA$ to $23\AA$ compared with the Nasmectite of about 12 $\AA$. Organic cations such as HDTMA, BDTDA, and CP exchanged into smectite were completely decomposed in the temperature range from $250^{\circ}C$ to $400^{\circ}C$. Generally, three organosmectites showed the similar mineralogical, physicochemical and thermal properties. But their properties are quite different from Nasmectite. Considering economically, CP exchanged smectite would be used for the diverse utilization field in the future time.

To investigate the biodegradation of the cellulose powder(CP) derived from Styela clava tunics(SCT), some physico-chemical properties and biodegradability of SCT-CP were measured after the incubation for 45 days. The particles size of SCT-CP prepared with washing, bleaching, drying, and grinding processes was $150-400{\mu}m$ although most of particles (70%) was more than $400{\mu}m$. The cellulose structures of SCT-CP detected using the X-ray diffraction and DSC analysis was very similar with that of wood pulp powder(WP-CP). The glass transition temperature was not detected in both samples. Furthermore, more than 90% of the SCT-CP was degraded, whereas only over 70% of the WP-CP was degraded after the incubation for 45 days. Therefore, these results suggest the possibility that SCT-CP is particularly applicable to prepare medical fiber and film for disease treatment.
The coat protein (CP) gene of kyuri green mottle mosaic virus zucchini strain (KGMMV-Z) isolated from zucchini (Cucurbita pepo) in Chonfu, Korea in 1999 was sequenced by the reverse transcription and polymerase chain reaction with degenerate and generate primers originated from tobamoviruses. The degenerate primers were very effective in amplification of KGMMV-Z CP region. The KGMMV-Z CP gene consisted of 486 nucleotides and had the same nucleotide length compared with those of cucurbit-infecting tobamoviruses. KGMMV-Z CP gene shared 43.8, 44.2, and 44.4% nucleotide sequence similarity with the CP gene of cucumber green mottle mosaic virus watermelon strain (CGMMZ-W), CGMMV-KW1, and CGMMV-SH, respectively, whereas three CGMMV strains among themselves showed 98.6-99.6% nucleotide similarity. The deduced amino acids of KGMMV-Z CP gene were 161 amino acid residues with the molecular weight of 17,181 daltons. The first 24 codons of KGMMV-Z CP gene corresponded to the sequences of the N-terminal amino acid of the viral capsid protein. The amino acid sequences of KGMMV-Z CP had 45.3% similarity compared with those of three CGMMV strains. However, the amino acid sequences of CGMMV strains were identical. These results showed that two cucurbit-infecting tobamovirus members, KGMMV-Z and CGMMV were genetically distantly related.
