Background: This study investigated the prevalence and associated factors of musculoskeletal pain among professional dancers who experienced a lapse in group practice due to coronavirus disease 2019. Methods: General characteristics, practice time, region of musculoskeletal pain due to injury using the visual numeric scale (VNS), and causative motion were surveyed among professional dancers. Pain of VNS 0 to 3 was categorized as "no or minor," 4 to 6 was categorized as "moderate," and 7 to 10 was categorized as "severe." The causal motions of musculoskeletal pain were analyzed according to body region. Factors other than motion associated with pain were also analyzed. Results: In total, 368 participants were included. In the univariate analysis, age and practice time were positively associated with "moderate" pain. Practice time, dance experience, and postural accuracy were positively associated with "severe" pain, as was performing Korean traditional dance. In the multivariable analysis, practice time, group practice, and age were positively associated with pain of VNS 4 to 10, and practice time, group practice, and Korean traditional dance were positively associated with pain of VNS 7 to 10. Conclusion: Among the factors related to dancer training, practice time, group practice, and dance type affect the occurrence of pain.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify the etiology and risk factors of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) requiring hospitalization in Korean children during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Methods: Clinical information of children admitted with CAP to Seoul National University Children's Hospital (SNUCH) between January 1, 2021, and February 28, 2022, was retrospectively collected and analyzed. In addition, the etiologic diagnosis and demographic data of children with CAP who were discharged at the other seven hospitals between January and February 2022 were collected. Pneumonia was diagnosed using strict criteria comprising clinical symptoms, physical examination findings, and chest radiographic findings. Results: Among 91 children hospitalized with CAP at SNUCH during the 14-month period, 68.4% were aged <5 years and 79.1% had underlying diseases. Among the 95 CAP cases, respiratory assistance was required in 70.5%, and the use of a ventilator was required in 20.0%. A total of five patients expired, all of whom were either immunocompromised or had underlying neurological diseases. Neurological diseases and immunosuppression were significantly correlated with respiratory assistance (P=0.003) and death (P=0.014). A total of 55% of the detected respiratory pathogens were viruses, the most common of which was rhinovirus at 35.9%. Among the 169 children hospitalized for CAP at the eight institutions, ≥1 respiratory virus was detected in 92.3%, among which respiratory syncytial virus (79.8%) was the most prevalent. Conclusions: Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, Korean children were hospitalized with CAP caused by seasonal respiratory viral pathogens. Although atypical and pyogenic bacteria were not detected, continuous clinical monitoring and further prospective studies should be conducted.

Correlation between vaccine reactogenicity and immunogenicity against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is unclear. Thus, we investigated to determine whether the reactogenicity after coronavirus disease 2019 vaccination is associated with antibody (Ab) titers and T cell responses. This study was prospective cohort study done with 131 healthcare workers at tertiary center in Seoul, South Korea. The degrees of the local reactions after the 1st and 2nd doses of ChAdOx1 nCov-19 (ChAdOx1) vaccination were significantly associated with the S1-specific IgG Ab titers (p=0.003 and 0.01, respectively) and neutralizing Ab (p=0.04 and 0.10, respectively) in age- and sex-adjusted multivariate analysis, whereas those after the BNT162b2 vaccination did not show significant associations. T cell responses did not show significant associations with the degree of reactogenicity after the ChAdOx1 vaccination or the BNT162b2 vaccination. Thus, high degree of local reactogenicity after the ChAdOx1 vaccine may be used as an indicator of strong humoral immune responses against SARS-CoV-2.
There is a paucity of research on socialization of novice teachers that has been found to have influence on their career through studies in different subject fields in various regions. This study addresses how novice English teachers perceive their socialization at the first years. It aims to draw implications for novice teacher support for training and professional development. Data were obtained from a questionnaire survey. From the review of the relevant literature, six themes were identified as significant factors in novice teachers' socialization process: relationship with pupils, teaching, rapport with colleagues, support from headteachers, relationship with parents, and expectations from the society. There were 44 questions under six key factors. 99 secondary English novice teachers participated in the survey. The analysis of the gathered responses to each question reveals information on their socialization process to become a secondary English teacher including adaptation challenges for professional development, which have been neglected but are gaining more attention from different stakeholders. This is being increasingly supported in the time of the coronavirus (COIVD-19) pandemic crisis, disruption and recovery. The study is concluded with some implications for research on novice teacher induction, and teacher education policy and practice.

In order to prevent the national wide spread of the COVID-19 virus, the government enforces to use an electronic access registration system for public facilities to effectively track and manage the spread. Initially, there was a lot of hassle to write a directory, but recently a system for creating an electronic access list using QR codes, what is called KI-Pass, is mainly used. However, the procedure for generating a QR code is somewhat cumbersome. In this paper, we propose a new electronic access registration system that does not require QR code. This system effectively controls the suspicious visitor by using a mask wearing discriminator which has been implemented using deep learning technology, and a non-contact thermometer package. In addition, by linking the beacon, a short-range wireless communication technology, and the visitor's smartphone application, basic information of the facility visitor is automatically registered to KDCA through the server. On the other hand, the user access information registered in the server is encrypted and stored, and is automatically destroyed after up to 4 weeks. This system is expected to be very effective in preventing the spread of other new infectious diseases as well as responding to the coronavirus which is recording a high spread worldwide.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends of Christian education research during the COVID-19 period. To this end, 172 theses published in the "Journal of Christian Education" and "Korea Society for Christian Education & Information Technology" pub-lished between March 2020 and June 2022 were analyzed according to the subfields and research methods of Christian education. As a result of the analysis, 38.5% of the total papers belonged to theories of Christian education. Papers related to practice of Christian education was 61.5%. Looking more closely at Christian education practice, papers related to classification by 'developmental stage' accounted for 25%, 'education field' accounted for 55.2%, 'function' accounted for 40.7% of the total papers. Regarding the classification of research methods, literature research accounted for 62.7% of the total studies, survey research methods accounted for 21.5%. Based on this, the main conclusions found in this study are as follows. First, the problems caused by the emergence and spread of the coronavirus began to be reflected in Christian education studies. Second, it was confirmed that the research method of Christian education, which had been biased toward liter-ature research, was recently converted from theory-centered to an attempt to balance theory and practice, and as convergence research increased, research topics and re-search methods were diversifying. Third, it was confirmed the need for category stand-ards that can analyze and classify studies in order to identify trends in Christian education research. Lastly, when considering all the papers, there are not many papers that fall under the classification by characteristics.

Purpose To evaluate the effect of the emergence of coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) on pediatric intussusception. Materials and Methods Patients (< 18 years) who were diagnosed with intussusception and received enema reduction from 2011 to 2020 were included. We reviewed the demographics, yearly/monthly/seasonal incidence of intussusception, method and failure rate of enema reduction, recurrence rate of intussusception, surgical record, and pathologic report. Subsequently, we investigated the differences in mean age, failure rate of enema reduction, and recurrence rate of intussusception between the cases in 2020 and those in the period from 2011 to 2019. Results A total of 859 enema reductions were performed during the past decade, more in males and in the age < 1 year (mean age, 22.2 months). The yearly incidence was highest in 2014 and lowest in 2020, and the monthly incidence was highest on December and September. The cases in 2020 (n = 27) had a lower mean age (18.1 months vs. 22.8 months), higher failure rate of enema reduction (7.4% vs. 2.4%), and higher recurrence rate of intussusception (14.8% vs 7.3%) compared with those that occurred between 2011 and 2019 (n = 832). However, these results did not show statistical significance (p = 0.07, p = 0.15, p = 0.14, respectively). Conclusion With the emergence of COVID-19, the number of enema reductions was remarkably decreased with a lower mean age, higher failure rate, and higher recurrence rate.

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus-19 is soaring around the world and has caused numerous deaths. Wearing a mask is very important to prevent infection. Incidents and accidents have occurred due to the recommendation to wear a mask in public places such as buses and subways, and it has emerged as a serious social problem. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an open source-based face mask wearing monitoring system. We used open source software, web-based artificial intelligence tool teachable machine and open source hardware Arduino. It judges whether the mask is worn, and performs commands such as guidance messages and alarms. The learning parameters of the teachable machine were learned with the optimal values of 50 learning times, 32 batch sizes, and 0.001 learning rate, resulting in an accuracy of 1 and a learning error of 0.003. We designed and implemented a mask wearing monitoring system that can perform commands such as guidance messages and alarms by determining whether to wear a mask using a web-based artificial intelligence tool teachable machine and Arduino to prove its validity.
Purpose: Due to the coronavirus infection-19 (COVID) pendemics, all educational institutions were required to provide full non-face-to-face real-time education, and fire officials were required to provide fire-fighting education by applying non-face-to-face education. In this difficult situation, the National Fire Service Academy tries to find the direction of the non-face-to-face real-time education and suggest ways to improve it through a survey of the status of non-face-to-face real-time education conducted by the NFSA to fire officials. Method: A survey was conducted on fire officials under the theme of "Consciousness Survey for Improving the Quality and Specialization of Non-face-to-face Real-Time Remote Education" and an in-depth analysis was conducted based on the results. Result & Conclusion: First, professors or educational operators shall actively utilize remote education programs suitable for educational characteristics by utilizing various programs. Second, a dedicated notebook for non-face-to-face training should be provided to provide an educational environment where all learners can participate in the training without difficulty. Third, in the case of education and training that requires the use of equipment due to the nature of fire officials' education and training, it is necessary to consider it as a non-face-to-face training place by arranging educational equipment at each fire station. Fourth, it is hard to expect a satisfactory educational effect to cope with practical education with theoretical education. Therefore, facilities and programs that enable non-face-to-face real-time hands-on training should be developed. It is worth considering the proper combination of face-to-face education while maintaining the social distance as much as possible until such non-face-to-face training is possible. Fifth, non-face-to-face education is considered to have high eye fatigue due to the light and electromagnetic waves of the computer screen, and as time goes by, the concentration level decreases. Therefore, it is necessary to form an education time to reduce the eye fatigue of learners and increase concentration through proper class and rest time. Finally, professors should operate a learner participation-oriented education that allows professors and learners to interact rather than one-sided knowledge transfer education. In addition, technical problems of non-face-to-face remote education should be thoroughly prepared through preliminary system checks to ensure that education is not disrupted.
Coronaviruses were originally discovered as enzootic infections that limited to their natural animal hosts, but some strains have since crossed the animal-human species barrier and progressed to establish zoonotic diseases. Accordingly, cross-species barrier jumps resulted in the appearance of SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV, and SARS-CoV-2 that manifest as virulent human viruses. Coronaviruses contain four main structural proteins: spike, membrane, envelope, and nucleocapsid protein. The replication cycle is as follows: cell entry, genome translation, replication, assembly, and release. They were not considered highly pathogenic to humans until the outbreaks of SARS-CoV in 2002 in Guangdong province, China. The consequent outbreak of SARS in 2002 led to an epidemic with 8,422 cases, and a reported worldwide mortality rate of 11%. MERS-CoVs is highly related to camel CoVs. In 2019, a cluster of patients infected with 2019-nCoV was identified in an outbreak in Wuhan, China, and soon spread worldwide. 2019-nCoV is transmitted through the respiratory tract and then induced pneumonia. Molecular diagnosis based on upper respiratory region swabs is used for confirmation of this virus. This review examines the structure and genomic makeup of the viruses as well as the life cycle, diagnosis, and potential therapy.
