Fuzzy Control Algorithm for the Improvement of Auto-Vehicle's Comfortability (무인 자동차의 승차감 향상을 위한 퍼지 제어 알고리즘)

  • Based on fuzzy control algorithm this paper constructed fuzzy controller for automated vehicles. For passenger's convenience especially comfortability controller need to reduce the frequency of input variable's changing. So we established membership functions for comfortability as well as speed following. It made possible to control comfortability directly. To demonstration the efficiency of fuzzy controller, we carried out simulation with a automobile's transfer function. Also we compared the difference of input variable. By comparing two controller's response, we can confirm the merit of fuzzy controller about comfortability. Fuzzy controller can reduce input changing frequency.

By comparing two controller's response, we can confirm the merit of fuzzy controller about comfortability. Fuzzy controller can reduce input changing frequency.

A Study on the Comfortability of Wearing Pantyhose (시판 Stocking의 착용에 따른 쾌적성 연구)

  • This study was conducted to examine the comfortability of wearing pantyhose in summer. To satisfy this purpose. 4 types of pantyhose were chosen from the market: a Mono type(M), a Wooly type(W), and two Support types(Sl, S2), were chosen. After the performances of samples were measured, these were worn by 8 healthy adult women. Under the summer field environment, psychological comfort ability was examined through the 5 steps of SD method. Physiological comfort ability was examined by measuring the body reactions(clothing pressure, skin temperature, total body weight loss, rectal temperature, pulse rates, and blood pressure), under the artificial environment($28.5{\pm}0.5^{\circ}C$, $82{\pm}3%$). The results of this examination were as follows : The order of comfortability which people felt in the field was W>M>S1>S2. The number of items which showed the highest correlation with comfort ability decreased and the correlation was lowered on the whole as time went by. There was positive high correlation between the performances of samples and comfort ability in compressibility, air permeability, water vapor permeability, while a negative high correlation in thickness, weight, compressional resiliency, strain (course) and moisture regain. The mean skin temperature was in the comfort zone, and rectal temperature, pulse rates, blood pressure were mostly in the normal range. Also it was showed that the correlation between the performance of samples and body reactions, except total body weight loss, was low.

  • The bicycle is an environment-friendly transport mode leading to a more sustainable transportation system. To innovatively increase the use of bicycle as a significant transport mode, bicycling-friendly roadway environment should be provided. From this perspective, the scientific and effective assessment of roadway environment in term of the bicyclist perception for safety and comfortability is of keen interest. This study develops a methodology for evaluation cycling environment using probe bicycles. A global positioning system(GPS) based speedometer was used to collect bicycle speed data. Cycling comfortability index(CCI) was derived for the purpose of evaluating cycling environment. The proposed CCI can be effectively used as an assessment tool in the field of bicycle transportation.

A Study on the Relationship Between Self-Concept and Clothing Behavior of Elementary School Children (초등학교 아동의 자아개념과 성별 및 학년에 따른 의복행동에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between self-concept and clothing behavior of elementary school children. For this purpose. 301 third and sixth graders two schools in Daegu-city were sampled. The \`Test of Self-Concept\` and \`Questionnaire on the Clothing Behavior\` were administered purpose of this study. The collected data were analyzed by the SPSS/PC Windows programs according to the research issues. Means and standard deviations were calculated and a three-way analysis of variance was applied to analyze the effects of grades, sex(gender) and self-concept on the clothing behavior. The major results of this study were as follows: 1. It was found that the mean score of the clothing behavior was significantly different depending the level of self-concept (group). The mean scores of manageability. psychological dependency interest and conformity of the high self-concept. group were significantly higher than those of the low self-concept group. But. there was no significant difference between the high and low self-concept groups in the mean score of comformity. 2. There were statistically significant differences between the sex of children in the mean score of the clothing behavior. It was found that the mean score of manageability, psychological dependency and interest of the female students were significantly higher than those of the male students. However the mean score of the comfortability of male students was significantly higher than that of the female students. In the meantime there was no significant difference between the sex of students in the mean score of comformity. 3. There were statistically significant differences in the mean score of the clothing behavior according to the graders of children . It was found that the mean scores of manageability, psychological dependency, interest and comfortability of the third graders were significantly higher those that of the sixth graders. But, there was no significant difference depending the grades of students in the mean score of conformity. 4. There were statistically significant interaction effects between the sex and the grade of children on the mean score of interest and comfortability. It was found that the mean score of interest of male third graders was higher than that of male sixth graders. The mean score of comfortability of the female third graders higher than that of sixth graders.

Housing Values and Housing Satisfaction from the Perspective of Urban Adolescents (도시청소년의 주거가치와 주거만족도)

  • This study is designed to explore the relationship between the level of housing satisfaction and housing values, as well as family characteristics and characteristics of residence. Questionnaires are administered to 526 adolescents from the four residential areas in Kwangju. Most of the adolescents are satisfied with their housing environment, especially indoors, however, they show a lower level of satisfaction toward the appearance and organization of the unit plan. It is found that the level of the safety, comfortability and social values predicted a meaningful variance in the level of housing satisfaction. Those with a higher degree of safety and social values tend to be associated with stronger housing satisfaction, whereas those with lower comfortability values are more associated with stronger housing satisfaction. Groups with higher household incomes are more likely to be satisfied with their housing environment. Groups living within a younger and larger house are more likely to be satisfied with their housing environment. Also, owners tend to show a stronger degree of housing satisfaction than renters.

Study on the frequency analysis of the leaf spring (겹판스프링의 진동수해석에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the deformation and stress are analyzed through modal and harmonic response analysis at resonance on leaf spring. The displacement range of 7 to 14 mm is shown at natural frequencies as 6 kinds of resonance modes. The maximum deformation is shown as 8.8781mm at Mode 2. The maximum displacement and stress at leaf spring are shown as 0.0458 mm and 72.533 MPa respectively on 1200 Hz. The comfortability of passenger becomes better on leaf spring at suspension system by use of this design model.
