Synthesis and Characterization of Gallium Nitride Powders and Nanowires Using Ga(S2CNR2)3(R = CH3, C2H5) Complexes as New Precursors

  • Gallium nitride (GaN) powders and nanowires were prepared by using tris(N,N-dimethyldithiocarbamato)gallium(III) (Ga(DmDTC)$_3$) and tris(N,N-diethyldithiocarbamato)gallium(III) (Ga(DeDTC)$_3$) as new precursors. The GaN powders were obtained by reaction of the complexes with ammonia in the temperature ranging from 500 to 1100 ${^{\circ}C}$. The process of conversion of the complexes to GaN was monitored by their weight loss, XRD, and $^{71}$Ga magic-angle spinning (MAS) NMR spectroscopy. Most likely the complexes decompose to $\gamma$ -Ga$_2$S$_3$ and then turn into GaN via amorphous gallium thionitrides (GaS$_x$N$_y$). The reactivity of Ga(DmDTC)$_3$ with ammonia was a little higher than that of Ga(DeDTC)$_3$. Room-temperature photoluminescence spectra of asprepared GaN powders exhibited the band-edge emission of GaN at 363 nm. GaN nanowires were obtained by nitridation of as-ground $\gamma$ -Ga$_2$S$_3$ powders to GaN powders, followed by sublimation without using templates or catalysts.

  • Dynamic characteristics of TbFeCo magneto-optical recording media at 680nm wavelength region were studied by means of computer simulation of disc structure and optimization of process variables during sputter deposition. With the slightly reduced Kerr rotation angle due to the reduced wavelength of optical laser source, the improved recording density in TbFeCo magneto optical media showing the CNR greater than 50dB could be achieved by only adjusting the thickness of dielectric and the recording layers when the wavelength of light source is changed from 780nm to 680nm. In addition, the recording power margin of 5mW and the 2mW minimum recording power was realized, It was shown from the present study that the increase in laser power density demonstrated feasibility of low cost and low power laser diode with the reduced optimum recording power.

웨이브렛과 기저 계수를 이용한 X-ray 영상의 대조도 향상기법 (Contrast Enhancement for X-ray Images Based on Combined Enhancement of Scaling and Wavelet Coefficients)

  • 본 연구에서는 이산 웨이브렛 도메인에서 기저계수와 웨이브렛 계수의 변환을 이용하여 X-ray 이미지의 대조도를 향상시키는 방법을 제안하였다. 기저 함수의 변환은 기존에 나와있는 contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE)와 multi-scale image contrast amplification (MUSICA)와 같은 보편적인 영상의 대조도 향상 기법을 적용하였으며 대조도가 향상된 저해상도 기저 계수의 역변환으로 인한 Blurring 현상을 방지하고 또한 이미지의 선명도를 향상시키기 위하여 웨이브렛 계수에 sigmoid function을 적용하였다. 본 알고리즘에 대한 성능 평가를 위하여 contrast detail mammography(CDMAM) 팬텀의 영상을 획득하여 기존에 사용한 대조도 향상 기법들과 contrast to noise ratio (CNR) 및 line profile에 대한 비교평가를 실시 하였고 그 결과 기존의 대조도 향상기법을 웨이브렛 도메인에서 적용하는 것이 뛰어나다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 영상 대조도 향상기법은 영상의 대조도를 증가시키는 동시에 잡음의 증폭을 효율적으로 억제할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 의료 영상뿐 만이 아닌 대조도와 선명도가 중요시되는 여려 분야에 적용될 수 있으리라 기대된다.

흉부 Phantom을 이용한 Low Dose CT의 관전압과 ASIR(Adaptive Statistical Iterative Reconstruction)적용에 따른 영상평가 및 피폭선량에 관한 연구 (A study of image evaluation and exposure dose with the application of Tube Voltage and ASIR of Low dose CT Using Chest Phantom)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study has attempted to evaluate and compare the image evaluation and exposure dose by respectively applying Filtered Back Projection(FBP), the existing test method, and Adaptive Statistical Iterative Reconstruction(ASIR) with different values of tube voltage during the Low Dose Computed Tomography(LDCT). Materials and Methods: With the image reconstruction method as basis, Chest Phantom was utilized with the FBP and ASIR set at 10%, 20% respectively, and the change of Tube Voltage (100kVp, 120kVp). For image evaluation, Back ground noise, Signal to Noise ratio(SNR) and Contrast to Noise ratio(CNR) were measured, and, for dose evaluation, CTDIvol and DLP were measured respectively. The statistical analysis was tested with SPSS(ver. 22.0), followed by ANOVA Test conducted after normality test and homogeneity test. (p<0.05). Results: In terms of image evaluation, there was no outstanding difference in Ascending Aorta(AA) SNR and Infraspinatus Muscle(IM) SNR with the different values of ASIR application(p<0.05), but a significant difference with the different amount of tube voltage(p>0.05). Also, there wasn't noticeable change in CNR with ASIR and different amount of Tube Voltage (p<0.05). However, in terms of dose evaluation, CTDIvol and DLP showed contrasting results(p<0.05). In terms of CTDIvol, the measured values with the same tube voltage of 120kVp were 2.6mGy with No-ASIR and 2.17mGy with 20%-ASIR respectively, decreased by 0.43mGy, and the values with 100kVp were 1.61mGy with No-ASIR and 1.34mGy with 20%-ASIR, decreased by 0.27mGy. In terms of DLP, the measured values with 120kVp were $103.21mGy{\cdot}cm$ with No-ASIR and $85.94mGy{\cdot}cm$ with 20%-ASIR, decreased by $17.27mGy{\cdot}cm$(about 16.7%), and the values with 100kVp were $63.84mGy{\cdot}cm$ with No-ASIR and $53.25mGy{\cdot}cm$ with 20%-ASIR, a decrease by $10.62mGy{\cdot}cm$(about 16.7%). Conclusion: At lower tube voltage, the rate of dose significantly decreased, but the negative effects on image evaluation was shown due to the increase of noise. For the future, through the result of the experiment, it is considered that the method above would be recommended for follow-up patients or those who get health checkup as long as there is no interference on the process of diagnosis due to the characteristics of Low Dose examination.

호흡기 및 비말감염 환자 전용 흉부 X-선 검사실의 바이러스 차단제 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Virus Barrier Materials in a Chest X-ray Laboratory to Respiratory and Droplet Infections Only Patients)

  • 본 연구는 호흡기 또는 비말 전파 바이러스 감염자의 흉부 X-선 검사 시 바이러스 차단설비를 갖춘 촬영실을 구상해 보았고, 설계과정에서 바이러스를 차단역할을 하는 검증된 차단제 중 X-선의 출력 및 화질의 저하가 가장 적은 재질과 두께를 찾기 위해 실험해 보았다. 그 결과 아크릴 1 cm 적용 시 X-선 출력은 차단제 없을 시 보다 약 3.27 % 감소 되었고, SNR은 40.7, CNR은 30.9로 분석되었고 SSIM 지수 분석결과 0.891로 분석되어 원본 영상과 비교하여 가장 유사한 영상으로 구현되는 것으로 분석되었다. 연구방법에서 적용한 차단제는 식약처 허가 등을 받은 제품을 사용했다는 점에서 객관성이 있었으며 향후 호흡기 관련 바이러스 발생 시 감염환자의 진단 및 치료 시설 설비 시 본 연구결과는 유용한 정보를 제공할 것으로 사료된다.
