A Study on Remote Control of Multi DNC Network (Multi DNC Network의 구축에 관한 연구)

  • The present so many systems are used by evolution of Program to expel DNC(Direct Numerical Control) Network Infra for many CNC Controller. However, these systems is an inefficiency side in case of mutual connection at a long distance between Server Computer and Machining center Also, the machining center have so many controversial points in data transmission-receiver from the NC data server. So, this thesis well constructed the remote control system from CNC(Computer Numerical Control) Controller to CAD/CAM Server Computer. This system have some kinds of merits. Firstly. the machining center's user can easily use the saved NC data transmission from the CAD/CAM Server Secondly, the remote control is possible without the mutual conversation between the CAD/CAM Server and the machining center.

PLC and Arduino CNC Control for Comparison of 2D Outputs (2D 출력물 비교를 위한 PLC와 아두이노 CNC 제어)

  • As the market size of 3D printers increases, the precision of the printout and the speed of operation by the motor are very important issues. In this parer, G-code of each output was generated using a CURA program to compare whether the output of the PLC equipment is the same as that of the Arduino CNC. And after conversion to NC File, a pen was attached to each device to output a result to A4 paper. As a result, the output time was measured to be 1m 39s for PLC equipment and 2m 5s for Arduino CNC. In addition, it was confirmed that the 2D output was equally from the two equipments.

  • In CNC machining, a 3D(3-dimension) linear segment and a 2D(2-dimension) circular arc are general forms given by CAD/CAM system. Generally, the 2D circular arc machining is processed using dividing into some linear segments. A 3D circular arc also don't exist in the standard form of NC data. This paper present a algorithm and method for real-time machining of a circular arc(not only the 2D one, but also the 3D one). The 3D circular arc machining is based on the 2D circular arc machining. It only needs making a new coordinate system, converting given 3D points(a start point, a end point, and a center point of a 3D circular arc) into points of the new coordinate system, and processing a inverse transformation about a interpolated point. The proposed algorithm was implemented and simulated on PC system. It was confirmed to give a gcod result.

  • With the increasing trend of making manufacturing system intelligent and autonomous, the introduction of robot-assist automation, like machine tending system for automated operation of CNC machine tools, is being actively carried out at many industrial sites. Most important part of this intelligent system to install machine tending system, is interface programming between the CNC machine tools and the industrial robot. Despite this importance, however, the machine tending system has many setup problems. it is necessary for difficult re-program of both controllers whenever a new CNC machine tool or robot is introduced. And, the helps of external engineers is required even though trivial changes due to the complex structure of the machine tending system. Authors of this paper introduces the integrated system of the interface between heterogeneous CNC machine tools and industrial robots. In addition, the digital twin implemented inside the machine tool controller enable shop-floor operators to change the interface programming easily. To implement this system, an integrated development environment for 1) an intelligent HMI platform that provide standardized interfaces to heterogeneous CNC machine tools and 2) a robot platform developing application software of various robots, was established. For easy un-tact environment, this paper explain the development of 3) a game-engine based web program of controlling and monitoring machine tending system remotely.

  • This paper is a study on modeling of an NFC antenna to be inserted into a steel pallet for conveying selected good products through a vision system to a threaded screw from CNC equipment. The CNC equipment used here incorporates the information communication technology (ICT) corresponding to the Internet of Things (IoT), and the smart factory system technology that produces information by exchanging information freely in two directions by connecting the POP corresponding to the service Internet is evolved Equipment. Therefore, it is possible to collect position information on the threaded workpiece by applying NFC antenna designed considering iron pallet used for material management so as to grasp estimated completion time and actual production amount according to production instruction from existing analog type equipment to POP monitoring system And investigated its characteristics.

  • A performance of CNC 3-axis pipe profile-cutting machine we developed was evaluated by measuring and verifying a positioning accuracy of its feeding unit and a cutting shape accuracy of pipe workpiece. The positioning accuracy was verified by comparing moving distance actuated by PLC motion controller with actual one measured by a laser interferometer. The cutting shape accuracy was also verified by comparing a cutting shape obtained through scanning and 3D modeling the pipe workpiece with that through CL data.

  • The precision of automation equipment and motors in factories is required, and global motor market has increased significantly. However, domestic motor technology lags behind foreign technology. In this thesis, the precision stability and efficiency were compared with a linear algorithm by applying a non-linear algorithm to a PLC servo motor and an Arduino step motor in order to improve the technology of the motor. The nonlinear algorithm was able to shorten the same driving reference time because the maximum speed of the motor was faster than the linear algorithm, and it was confirmed that the precision was improved due to the low curvature.
