들숨근 저항운동이 젊은 성인 여성의 가로막 움직임과 호흡기능에 미치는 즉각적인 효과 (The Immediate Effects of Inspiratory Muscle Training on Diaphragm Movement and Pulmonary Function in Normal Women)

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to investigate the immediate effects of inspiratory muscle training on diaphragm movement and pulmonary function in healthy women. METHODS: The subjects of the study were 27 young women between ages 19 and 22 years who had no history of orthopedic damage for the last 6 months. The 27 participants were randomly selected and spontaneously participated and consented to the purpose of the study. This study measured diaphragm movement and pulmonary function under two different conditions, before and after inspiratory muscle training. Ultrasonography is appropriate for measuring diaphragm movement, and Pony Fx is appropriate to measure pulmonary function such as forced vital capacity (FVC), forced expiratory volume in 1 second ($FEV_1$), $FEV_1/FVC$ ratio, and peak expiratory flow (PEF) before and after inspiratory muscle training. Paired t-test with a significant level of .05 was used for statistical analysis. RESULTS: As a result, diaphragm movement significantly increases 1.45cm from before inspiratory muscle training (p<.05). Also, FVC, $FEV_1$, and FEP significantly increase 11.25%, 6.96%, and 8.18%, respectively, from before inspiratory muscle training (p<.05). CONCLUSION: The diaphragm movement and pulmonary function of the healthy women in this study were in stantly affected by inspiratory muscle training. From these results, we need to confirm effects of inspiratory muscle training on clinical patients such as pulmonary disease.

하프 빈야사 요가 수련 전·후의 역학적 에너지 변화 - 신체분절의 에너지 기여도 및 최고무게중심과 분절 에너지의 상관관계를 중심으로 - (Change of Mechanical Energy before and after Training of Half Vinyasa Yoga - Energy Contribution of Body Segments and Correlation between Maximum COG and Segmental Energy -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate change of mechanical energy before and after training of half vinyasa yoga. Thirteen subjects (height: $163.4{\pm}3.9$ cm, body mass: $54.9{\pm}7.3$ kg, age: $20.0{\pm}0.49$ yrs) participated in this experiment. The motions of half vnyasa yoga were captured with Vicon system and parameters were calculated with Visual-3D. After training of half vinyasa yoga, the mechanical energies of body segments were increased and increments of mechanical energies in the lower segments were greater than the upper segments. The phase increments of mechanical energies increased phase 1, phase 2, and phase 3 in order. After training of half vinyasa yoga, phase contributions of body segments were similar before training of half vinyasa yoga. The contribution of mechanical energy on trunk segment in body was the greatest contribution of upper segments; also that of mechanical energy on thigh segment in body was the greatest contribution of lower segments. Before training, the coefficient of correlation between vertical center of gravity (CoGz) and mechanical energy of phase 3 was a -.559, but after training, the coefficient of correlation between CoGz and mechanical energy of phase 2 was a .587. These findings suggest that the training of half vinyasa yoga may be increasing the mechanical energies of body segments.

시접 처리 방법이 직물의 드레이프성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Seam Finish on Fabric Drape)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide the basic knowledge to determine the proper seam finish according to the design of sewing products. Four seam finishes(no seam finishes, over-edged seam finishes, turned-and-stitched seam finishes, and bias-bound seam finishes) were constructed with seams in warp, weft and bias directions of the fabric. Using a drape measurement system involving two 18cm diameter supporting disks and a digital camera, the images of draped specimens were captured and processed. Drape behavior was evaluated in terms of drape coefficient, node number, and drape profile. Drape coefficients of the fabrics increased with seam formation and varied by the seam finishes, however no significant differences in drape coefficients by the seam finishes were observed on the heavier fabric. Node numbers of heavier fabric were more deeply affected by the seam finishes than those of lighter fabric. The specimens with turned-and-stitched seam finishes and bias-bound seam finishes showed significantly smaller node numbers compared to the specimens with no seam finishes and over-edged seam finishes on heavier fabric. The length of the seamed part showed positive correlation with the weight of the specimens and negative correlation with the number of nodes in each seam direction. The maximum length of all draped specimens was found in the same direction as the seam direction. In the case of the lighter fabric, the seam and the seam finish had a great influence on the shape of the draped profile.

시니어 남성용 드레스폼 개발을 위한 국내외 시판 드레스폼의 제품 및 치수체계 조사 (A Product and Sizing System Investigation of Domestic and Foreign Dress form for Development of Senior Men's Dress form)

  • This study researched the sizing system of dress form for apparel manufacturing in the domestic market. It aims to be used as basic data for the development of a dress form that could be used by manufacturers of senior men's clothing. Research focused on the sizes presented on the homepages of 17 dress form manufacturers in the USA, France, Japan, and Korea. Body measurement was made for senior men in their 50's over men (n=134). Six items were measured by the 'Standard body measurement of Size Korea'. The type of dress form in the domestic market can be classified into half-body type (upper body type and lower body type), torso, and whole-body type; in addition, each type is divided into upper arm, arm, crotch, and thigh. Korean dress form manufacturers produced/sold diverse kinds (size 7-9) for women; however, they used large/small sizes or product sizes for men without defining sizes. The chest size (93-105cm) has not been standardized while the rates of waist circumference, hip circumference and shoulder length (in accordance with the chest size) were all different. Global dress form brands manufactured reflecting body dimensions by the state organization USA ASTM. Japan JIS. For this reason, most domestic clothing businesses depend on imported dress forms. Especially, there were no dress forms for senior men. With the growing market for seniors, it would be necessary to produce senior dress forms for clothing production that reflect the body shapes and sizes of seniors.

무릎밴드 가압과 가온요법이 퇴행성 무릎관절염 노인의 혈류속도에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Compression Knee Band and Heat Treatment on Blood Velocity of the Elderly with Osteoarthritis)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the change in blood velocity(mm/sec) when compression and/or heat were applied to the knee joint for the elderly who has both normal and painful legs with osteoarthritis(OA). Experimental compression knee band was prepared from the 3D knee data of the average women in 60's. 3D replica of knee was reduced by 7, 10, and 13% from the nude pattern in course direction. Clothing pressure was measured at the front and back of each healthy and painful knee of elderly women for one minute while standing and sitting on the chair. Blood velocity was measured at 13 cm upper from the mid-patella for 15 minutes. Results are as follows: first, compression or heating treatment itself did not change blood velocity of both legs; second, combination treatment with heating and compression was effective to increase blood velocity. In details, for healthy legs, combination treatments with compression by 10% reduced pattern(about 1.3kPa) and heating($43^{\circ}C$) induced the maximal blood velocity, however, for knees with OA, 7% reduced pattern(about 1.0kPa) with simultaneous heating($43^{\circ}C$) was more effective than other cases. These results indicated that pain and spasticity of knee joint with OA could be reduced by applying heat and compression therapy, where the compression level of painful knee should be slightly lower than of healthy leg.

물체의 충돌 시 질량 중심의 위치이동 효과의 컴퓨터그래픽 표현 (The Expression of Computer Graphic Movement by The Phenomenon in Motion of Center of Mass at A Collision of Bodies)

  • 어떤 폐쇄된 공간 내에서 운동하는 한 물체가 다른 물체와 완전 탄성 충돌이 일어날 경우 현재물리법칙에 따르면 그 공간의 질량중심 이동은 없는 것으로 정의되어 있으며 이에 따라 컴퓨터 그래픽 표현 역시 이와 마찬가지로 되어 있다. 본 논문은 폐쇄된 공간 내에서 두 물체가 충돌하는 기간동안 폐쇄된 공간의 질량중심(CM) 위치이동의 미소한 현상을 포함한 물리법칙을 정의한다. 본 논문에서 정의된 법칙은 근사적인 실험장치로 확인하였으며, 이를 이용하여 폐쇄된 공간 내에서 두 물체의 충돌 순간 형태의 그래픽 표현모델과 수식을 정의하였다. 질량중심 위치이동의 미소한 현상을 다 물체 동역학 시뮬레이션 프로그램 또는 햅틱(haptic) 프로그램에 적용하면 좀더 정확성 있는 운동을 표현할 수 있게 될 것이다. 이러한 정의는 만화영화나 그래픽으로 동작을 표현하는 곳에 적용하면 보다 현실감 있게 표현이 가능할 것이다.

  • 오늘날 건설수요는 고도화, 프로젝트의 대형화, 공사여건의 복잡화와 같은 외부환경에 의해 변하고 있다. 이에 정부에서는 외부환경의 변화에 적절히 대응하고자 선진화된 발주방식을 도입하였다. 그러나 이러한 의도와는 달리, 기 발주된 프로젝트에서는 발주방식별 장${\cdot}$단점 등이 효과적으로 나타나지 못하고 있다. 이러한 원인은 사업의 기획단계에서 발주방식을 선정할 때 사업의 특성을 충분히 반영하지 못하는 현재의 "대형공사 입찰방법 심의기준"에서 그 원인을 찾을 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 프로젝트의 특성에 따른 적절한 발주방식을 적용하기 위하여 발주방식 선정기준을 위한 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

강원도 일부도시의 경관내 탄소흡수 및 배출과 도시녹지의 역할 (Carbon Uptake and Emissions in Urban Landscape, and the Role of Urban Greenspace for several Cities in Kangwon Province)

  • This study quantified carbon uptake and emissions in urban landscape, and the role of urban greenspace in atmospheric carbon reduction for several cities of Chuncheon and Kangleung in Kangwon province. Mean carbon storage by trees and shrubs was 26.0 t (mertric tons)/ha in Chuncheon and 46.7 t/ha in Kangleung for natural lands, and ranged from 4.7 to 6.3 t/ha for urban lands (all land use types except natural and agricultural lands) in both cities. Mean annual carbon uptake by trees and shrubs ranged from 1.60 to 1.71 t/ha/yr for natural lands, and from 0.56 to 0.71 t/ha/yr for urban lands. There was no significant difference (95% confidence level) between the two cities in the carbon storage and annual carbon uptake per ha, except the carbon storage for natural lands. Organic carbon storage in soils (to a depth of 60 cm) of Chuncheon average 24.8 t/ha for urban lands and 31.6 t/ha for natural lands, 1.3 times greater than for urban lands. Annual carbon accumulation in soils was 1.3 t/hr/yr for natural lands of the study cities. Annual per capita carbon emissions from fossil fuel consumption were 1.3 t/yr in Chunceon and 1.8 t/yr in Kangleung. The principal carbon release in urban landscapes was from transport and industry. Total carbon storage by urban greenspace (trees, shrubs, and soils) equaled 66% of total carbon emissions in Chuncheon and 101% in Kangleung. Carbon uptake by urban greenspace annually offset total carbon emissions by approximately 4% in the study cities. Thus, urban greenspace played a partial important role in reducing atmospheric $CO_2$ concentrations. To increase $CO_2$ uptake and storage by urban greenspace, suggested are conservation of natural lands, minimization of hard surfaces and more plantings, selection of tree species with high growth rate, and proper management for longer healthy tree growth.

Effect of the oxygen flow ratio on the structural and electrical properties of indium zinc tin oxide (IZTO) films prepared by pulsed DC magnetron sputtering

  • Transparent conduction oxides (TCOs) films is extensively reported for optoelectronic devices application such as touch panels, solar cells, liquid crystal displays (LCDs), and organic light emitting diodes(OLEDs). Among the many TCO film, indium tin oxide(ITO) is in great demand due to the growth of flat panel display industry. However, indium is not only high cost but also its deposits dwindling. Therefore, many studies are being done on the transparent conductive oxides(TCOs). We fabricated a target of IZTO(In2O3:ZnO:SnO2=70:15:15 wt.%) reduced indium. Then, IZTO thin films were deposited on glass substrates by pulsed DC magnetron sputtering with various oxygen flow ratio. The substrate temperature was fixed at the room temperature. We investigated the electrical, optical, structural properties of IZTO thin films. The electrical properties of IZTO thin films were dependent on the oxygen partial pressure. As a result, the most excellent properties of IZTO thin films were obtained at the 3% of oxygen flow rate with the low resistivity of $7.236{\times}10^{-4}{\Omega}cm$. And also the optical properties of IZTO thin films were shown the good transmittance over 80%. These IZTO thin films were used to fabricated organic light emitting diodes(OLEDs) as anode and the device performances studied. The OLED with an IZTO anode deposited at optimized deposition condition showed good brightness properties. Therefore, IZTO has utility value of TCO electrode although it reduced indium and we expect it is possible for the IZTO to apply to flexible display due to the low processing temperature.

운동치료, 심리치료 및 식이요법이 포함된 통합비만관리프로그램이 산업체에 근무하는 비만 환자의 체성분 및 혈액성분에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Integrated Obesity Management Program, which Includes Exercise Therapy, Psychotherapy and Dietary Treatment, on the Body Composition and Blood Composition of Obese Patients Worked in the Industry)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to find out how changes in body shape of obese patients could be affected by the combined management of diet and psychotherapy along with exercise therapy to control energy imbalance, the cause of obesity. Methods : In this study, the aerobic exercise program was conducted on 12 industrial workers of "D" company for a total of eight weeks for obese patients with a high body mass index (25 kg/㎡ or higher). The experimental group did not apply the program three times a week. The body type analysis was carried out using the body analyzer (Inbody 770, Inbody, Korea) and blood test and psychological test were performed after 8 weeks of exercise before and after exercise. Results : The results of the group showed a change in weight loss of 6.03 kg (p=.000) on average, which is nearly 10 % of the change in weight. It was also shown that the BMI (body mass index) decreased by 1.76 kg/㎡ (p=.000). Abdominal fat (AO) is also 0.14 % (p=.000), waist circumference (WC, 12.72 cm, p=.000), internal fat (VF, 25.12 %, p=.000), liver function levels AST (5.47 U/L, p=.04), ALT (13.64 U/L, p=.000), total cholesterol, pTC -14.22. Conclusion : Based on the results of this study, the obesity management program will be able to maximize the effects of obesity control if exercise programs and psychotherapy are combined.
