Policy Plans for promoting the Construction Management in Korea (${\cdot}$${\cdot}$학 측면에서의 CM 활성화 정책과제)

  • This paper proposes the methods to promote the Construction Management (CM) in Korea from the perspectives of government, academia, and industry. Recent seminar reports and research documents were referred to provide important sources for this work added by years of author's own experience in construction industry. First, the expected trend of various CM forms over time was identified by referencing the needs assessment results accomplished by the other researchers to provide a general sense of the way the CM is expected to evolve. Then, the 16 detailed ways of promoting the CM in Korea was proposed and explained.

초고주파 고출력 Gallium Nitride 전자소자의 기술동향 및 발전방향

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 초고주파영역에서 우수한 고출력 특성을 갖는 것으로 알려진 AlGaN-GaN high-electron mobility transistor(HEMT's)의 최근 기술동향과 함께 응용가능성 및 한계에 대하여 검토하였다. GaN는 약 3.4eV 정도의 큰 밴드갭을 갖는 까닭에 200V 이상의 높은 항복전압을 갖는다. 또한 AlGaN와 이종접합을 형성하는 경우 piezoelectric field에 의하여 1$\times$10\ulcornercm\ulcorner 이상의 높은 밀도의 2DEG(two-dimensional electron gas)의 형성이 가능하고, 상온 전자이동도가 1,200$\textrm{cm}^2$/V-s 이상으로서 초고주파 고출력 전자소자의 구현에 필요한 물성을 갖추고 있다. 현재 cutoff frequency fT가 60GHz이상, maximum frequency fmax가 150GHz 이상의 소자가 개발되었으며, 3W/cm 이상의 cw(continuous wave) 전력밀도가 보고된바 있다. 또한 열전도도가 큰 새로운 기판이 개발되고, heat dissipation을 개선하기 위한 새로운 소자구조가 개발됨에 따라 보다 높은 전력밀도를 갖는 단위소자 또는 MMIC(monolithic microwave integrated circuits)의 구현가능성이 높아지고 있다.

Standard technical analysis, trend and future of NFC (NFC의 표준기술 분석, 동향 및 전망)

  • NFC (Near Field Communication) was developed by SONY, NXP in 2002 and in 2003 respectively. It is one type of standard shore-range wireless communication system which operates in 13.56 MHz frequency band, within 10 cm distance and enables data transfer between devices with maximum rate of 424kbps. Various studies have been done on NFC technology and many handset manufacturers such as Apple, Google, Samsung Electronics Co., are trying to expand their market for new mobile services using this technology. This paper analyses the NFC standard technology, its trends and prospects in chapter II, which is followed by NFC systems and communication method in chapter III, and eventually NFC trends and future views is explained in chapter IV.

  • Occurrence of Scuticociliatosis in olive flounder farm of Jeju was monitored from 2007 to 2014. As a result, 23.8~36.4% of referred samples were diagnosed as Scuticociliatosis. Based on fish size, the highest incidence (50.5%) was found in fish with size of 10~20 cm.

  • The Construction Management contracting method and administration system had introduced to Korea 10 years ago. The actual CM consulting contract has adapted just for 5 years only. The CM administration system proves lots of innovative construction practices, upgrading construction industry from corporations to site operations. However, there are more tasks to the CM professionals to revitalize CM contracting methods and administration system. This research investigated what CM has achieved for the past 10 years and what CM should accomplish for the coming 10 years as future strategy and missions. Overseas CM practices are reviewed and domestic market, regulations, requirements are investigated through structured interviewed and in-depth survey to CM professionals. Many interesting issues were found through research process and those topics were categorized by industry, academy and government for defining current problems and future tasks. These issues for future strategy and mission needs to be utilized to develop future CM contracting methods and administration system. The system to follow up these meaningful results of CM is important for the future progress.

  • 케이블방송망은 광대역을 가진 유선망이라는 매체 특성으로 동일한 망을 이용하여 방송뿐만 아니라 통신까지 제공할 수 있는 양방향 방송서비스를 가능케 하는 방송통신 융합을 위한 최적의 망으로 거론되고 있다. 서비스 관점에서 케이블방송망은 도입초기 단순히 지상파 방송의 난시청 해소를 위한 수단이었으나 프로그램 공급업자와 종합 유선 방송국의 등장으로 독립적인 방송 매체로 발전하였으며, 북미 주도하에 1990년대 중반 통신법이 개정된 이후 양방향 고속 데이터서비스를 제공할 수 있는 방안으로 케이블 모뎀(CM: Cable Modem)을 개발하여 방송과 통신을 동시에 수용하는 통합망으로 발전시켜왔다. 최근 케이블방송은 전송 효율 고도화, 망 구조적 진화 및 대용량 콘텐츠 전송으로 크게 3개의 방향으로 발전을 거듭하고 있다. 본고에서는 각 발전 방향에서 제시하는 차세대 케이블방송의 기술개발 및 표준화 동향에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

Effect of EEG Wave Type of Visual Cortex on Conjugate Movement of Eyeball according to Movement of Visual Target (시 표적의 이동에 따른 안구의 동향운동이 대뇌 시피질의 뇌파에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was to investigate the effect of EEG wave type of visual cortex on conjugate movement of eyeball according to movement of visual target. Visual evoked potential(VEP) system used the Bio-Pag(production in USA) and recorded to 586 computer. The illumination of test room was 50lux and the visual target was red light dot of 3cm size. The results of dextroversion and levoversion as follows : The visual stimulation waves on the visual cortex have about 71% of delta wave, about 12% of beta wave, about 9% theta wave and about 6% of alpha wave respectively. The dextroversion and levoversion state was similar results on the histogram amplitude of EEG wave, frequency of EEG wave type, EEG wave style and phase diagram of amplitude. Expecially the histogram amplitude of EEG wave appeared almost the Gaussian shape and the phase analysis of amplitude of EEG wave was nearly linear shape. On the fast fourier transform of the amplitude and Hz, the frequency was almost low frequency under 20 Hz, and the dextroversion and levoversion shape was similar results.

Satisfaction Level and Performance Evaluation for CM Service in Korea (국내 건설사업관리 업무만족도 및 성과평가)

  • The domestic CM business market has continued to grow, but its size is relatively small yet in comparison with the total size of the domestic construction industry. Evaluation of CM projects was conducted through questionnaire surveys. Both clients and CM firms showed positive satisfaction levels. Nevertheless, the clients' satisfaction levels were relatively low in safety management, cost management, and document and information management. Superior areas of CM tasks were time management and recovery scheduling, quality control and technical instruction, and design value engineering. On the other hand, inferior areas of CM tasks were claim analysis and dispute resolution, cost estimation, and life cycle costing. Both entities have agreed with the positive effects of CM involvement in terms of cost saving, time reduction, quality improvement, and safety incidents prevention to at least 0~5% extent.
