  • 본 논문은 WiBro 망을 통한 다시점 비디오 서비스의 품질을 향상시키기 위하여, 수신자가 느끼는 다시점 비디오 품질을 위한 QoE (Quality of Experience)를 정의하고, 이를 최대화할 수 있는 계층 간 최적화 방식(Cross-Layer Optimization: CLO)을 제안한다. 제안하는 계층 간 최적화 방식(이하 CLO) 알고리즘은 물리계층에서 비디오계층까지 포함한다. 시간과 장소에 따라 변화하는 무선망 상황에서, 다시점 비디오의 시점별 중요도와 시간적 중요도를 구분하여, 프레임 전송 우선순위와 순방향 오류 정정(Forward Error Correction : FEC) 수준을 결정한다. 핸드오버 상황에서 제안하는 CLO 방식을 사용하였을 때 최소의 자원으로 최고대의 QoE를 달성할 수 있음을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 보여준다.

북한의 1월.8월 인체보온지수 분포의 특성 (The Characteristics of January and August Clo-Unit Distribution in North Korea)

  • 1월의 clo 값은 대체로 삼지연 지역이 가장 높게 나타나고, 장전 일대의 동해안 지역이 가장 낮게 나타난다. 또한 해안 지역보다 내륙 지역이, 동해안보다 서해안이 clo 값이 높게 나타난다. 이는 지형적 영향과 기온과 풍속의 지역적 차이에 기인한다. 8월에도 삼지연, 해산 일대, 개마고원 등이 높게 나타나는데, 이는 지형적 영향으로 기온 저하와 풍속의 증가로 나타나는 현상이다. 특히 8월에는 삼지연을 중심으로 북동-남서 내륙지역으로 등치선이 만곡하고, 이 축을 중심으로 한 이외의 지역이 비교적 낮은 분포를 보인다. 이러한 원인으로는 위도, 지형 및 장마 이후의 고온 다습한 북태평양 기단의 영향과 강한 일사에 의한 지면 복사열의 방출에 있다고 사료된다.

보온력 차이에 따른 방한복 상의의 인체착의 생리반응 (Physiological Responses of Cold Protective Clothing with Different clo Value)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate physiological responses such as rectal temperature, skin temperature, micro climate, sweat rate and subjective sensations using cold protective clothing with five different clo value. The clo value was measured by thermal manikin in windless condition. Healthy five 20's males volunteered as subjects for wearing trial experiment. The climate chamber was controlled at $50^{\circ}C$, 65% RH. The experiment consisted of repeated exercise and recovery periods. We found that the higher clo value has, the higher mean skin temperature, micro climate and sweat rate show. They felt warm and wet with higher insulation clothing. Thermal comfort increased in the last recovery period after exercise. There was significant difference between five cold protective clothing. In correlation analysis of clo value, it showed that correlation coefficient(r) values were more than 0.8. Therefore, in terms of clothing insulation, we found that correlation between thermal manikin experiment and wearing trial experiment was high. Clothing insulation could be variable according to many factors such as body movement, covering area, clothing gap, layering and design. Considering the body movement, we thought that insulation measurement need to carry out both thermal manikin experiment and wearing trial experiment.

  • 본 연구는 패션에 대한 첨단 시뮬레이션 기술로 가상 의류 시각화를 지원하는 3D 패션 디자인 소프트웨어인 CLO 3D와 증강현실 어플리케이션 제작을 위한 모바일 플랫폼 증강현실 개발 도구인 vuforia를 활용하여 유니티 엔진 개발 환경에서 대화식 구조의 디지털 패션 콘텐츠 제작을 위한 공정을 정의한다. CLO 3D 소프트웨어를 통해 패턴, 재봉선, 텍스쳐 등의 작업을 거쳐 가상 의류 모델을 제작하는 방법과 유니티 엔진 개발 환경에서 vuforia 개발 도구의 기능과 속성 들을 활용하여 컴퓨터 비전 기술 기반의 증강현실 콘텐츠를 제작하는 방법을 정리한다. 그리고 패션 디자이너, 디렉터 등 실무 사용자의 관점에서 현실적으로 활용 가능한 새로운 방식의 증강현실 디지털 패션 콘텐츠를 정의한 제작 공정의 흐름으로 직접 제작함으로써 활용 방법을 제시한다.

열 마네킹을 이용한 부직포 농약 방호복의 열적 성능 평가 (The Evaluation of Thermal Properties of Pesticide Protective Clothing using the Surface Temperature Controlled Thermal Manikin)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate thermal properties of pesticide protective clothing made of three different nonwoven fabrics which have barrier properties of pesticide. In order to assay the thermal properties of experimental clothing, thermal resistance measurements for clo value and thermographic assessment were conducted using a surface temperature controlled thermal manikin. The thermal manikin was dressed with underwear and experimental clothing. Air temperature in a climate chamber was kept at $28^{\circ}C$ and its humidity was 70% RH. Air velocity was controlled at less than 0.15m/s. Inner radient temperature was almost equal to the air temperature. The basic thermal insulation value(Icl) of underwear was 0.28 clo. The thermal properties of the experimental clothing were varied according to the type of material used in construction. The basic clothing insulation value for C1(spunbonded nonwoven fabric), C2(spunlaced nonwoven fabric), C3(SMS nonwoven fabric) were 0.705 clo, 0.725 clo, 0.738 clo respectively. The C3 experimental clothing made of SMS resulted in higher surface temperatures than the others with more yellowing spots being evident on the thermogram.

  • The purpose of this study is to create a 3D avatar from 3D human body shape data using the CLO 3D virtual clothing program and to verify the feasibility of avatar production using the virtual clothing system for verifying size and shape. The research method was to select one virtual representative model that is the closest to the mean size of each body item for each age group. Using the 3D human body scan shape of a 40-69 years old male was applied to the CLO 3D virtual wearing system. Using the CLO 3D Avatar conversion menu, we verified the feasibility of creating a 3D avatar that reproduces the human body scan shape. In the dimension comparison between the 3D avatar and the fictitious representative model, the dimension difference was noticeable in height, circumference, and length. However, as a result, the converted 3D avatar showed less than a 5% difference in most human dimensions. In addition, since the body shape and posture were reproduced similarly, the utilization of the avatar was verified.

Mesophase formation behavior in petroleum residues

  • Mesophase pitch is an important starting material for making a wide spectrum of industrial and advanced carbon products. It is produced by pyrolysis of petroleum residues. In this work, mesophase formation behavior in petroleum residues was studied to prepare environmentally-benign mesophase pitches, and the composition of petroleum residues and its influence on the mesophase formation was investigated. Two petroleum residues, i.e., clarified oil s (CLO-1, CLO-2) obtained from fluid catalytic cracking units of different Indian petroleum refineries, were taken as feed stocks. A third petroleum residue, aromatic extract (AE), was produced by extraction of one of the CLO-1 by using N-methyl pyrrolidone solvent. These petroleum residues were thermally treated at 380℃ to examine their mesophase formation behavior. Mesophase pitches produced as a result of thermal treatment were characterized physico-chemically, as well as by instrumental techniques such as Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetry/derivative thermogravimetry. Thermal treatment of these petroleum residues led to formation of a liquid-crystalline phase (mesophase). The mesophase formation behavior in the petroleum residues was analyzed by optical microscopy. Mesophase pitch prepared from CLO-2 exhibited the highest mesophase content (53 vol%) as compared to other mesophase pitches prepared from CLO-1 and AE.

Helicobacter pylori 감염진단에 있어 H. pylori Ag Stool 검사 (면역크로마토그라피법)의 임상적 유용성 (Clinical Usefulness of Helicobactor pylori Ag Stool Test (Immunochromatographic Assay) for Diagnosis of H. pylori Infection)

  • The aim of this study was to assess the Clinical Usefulness of Helicobacter pylori Stool Antigen (HpSA) immunochromatographic assay for the diagnosis of H. pylori infection. In this study, we had compared HpSA-immunochromatographic assay with CLO test and UBT test. From a total of 140 patients (M:F=88:52) with upper endoscopy, biopsy specimens were obtained for CLO test. Stool specimens was collected from all patients and tested using a HpSA-immunochromatic assay. H. pylori infection status was defined as infected if the results of both CLO test and UBT test were positive. CLO test and UBT test findings showed that 92 patients were H. pylori positive and 48 patients were H. pylori negative. According to this definition, the sensitivity, specificity, and positive or negative predictive value (PPV, NPV) of HpSA-immunochromatographic assay were 97.8%, 100%, 100%, and 96%, respectively. Cross reactivity test of HpSA-immunochromatographic assay were performed with 10 enteric bacteria strains in fecal habitat, and there were no false positive reaction. We evaluated the usefulness of HpSA assay for eradication therapy with 10 of 92 H. pylori positive patients, positive results of them at pre-eradication therapy were converted to negative at post-eradication. The HpSA-immunochromatographic assay is a highly sensitive and specific non-invasive diagnostic method for detection of H. pylori infection, a useful diagnostic method for H. pylori in post eradication stage.

공기주입형 의복의 보온력 측정 및 다운재킷의 보온력과의 비교 (Comparisons of Thermal Insulations between on Air-Cell Pack Embedded Jacket and Down Jackets)

  • This study investigated the thermal insulation of an air-cell pack embedded jacket and down jackets to understand the potential of air-cell pack as a filler for winter outdoor wear. A thermal manikin measured the thermal insulation of the following jackets: HD (heavy down jacket, total weight (Tw) 750g, goose down weight (Dw) 350g), LD (light down jacket, Tw 560g, Dw 140g), AF (air-cell pack embedded jacket, Tw 490g, trunk goose down in LD was replaced to air cell), F (film jacket, Tw 469g, but removed the air in the air-cell pack from the AF), and Control (control jacket, Tw 438g, removed the air-cell pack film from the F). Thermal insulations of each experimental condition were measured in a static standing posture. Total thermal insulations (IT) were 1.29clo (HD), 1.23clo (LD), 1.16clo (AF), 1.20clo (F), and 1.08clo (Control). Body regional thermal insulation was higher in the chest and back than in the abdomen and hip in all conditions. The results suggest that an economical and versatile outdoor jacket with superior thermal insulation will be feasible if the air volume is properly controlled in air-cell pack embedded jackets in consideration of regional different distribution and used in combination with film and down.
