금속-디니트로실 착물 (제 4 보) : 몰리브덴과 텅스텐의 대칭 및 비대칭 이핵 착물의 합성과 특성 (Metal-Dinitrosyl Complexes(Ⅳ) : Synthesis and Characterization of Symmetric and Asymmetric Dinuclear Molybdenum and Tungsten Complexes)

  • $[M(NO)_2Cl_2]_n(M = Mo, W)$을 출발물질로 사용하여 3단계 합성과정을 거쳐 $[Cl(dppp)(NO)_2M({\mu}-pyz)M'(NO)_2(dppp)Cl][ClO_4]_2$$[Cl(phen)(NO)_2M({\mu}-pyz)M'(NO)_2(dppp)Cl][ClO_4]_2$(M,M'= Mo or W; phen = 1,10-phenanthroline; dppp = 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane; pyz = 1,4-pyrazine) 형의 새로운 대칭 및 비대칭 이핵 착물을 합성하였다. 최종 생성물은 실리카겔 칼럼($2{\times}20$ cm)을 통해 아세톤으로 용리시켜 분리하였다. 합성한 착물은 원소분석과 적외선, 핵사기 공명 및 전자 흡수스펙트럼 등을 이용해서 그 특성을 조사하였다. 적외선 스펙트럼은 모든 착물이 팔면체 구조로서 두 개의 NO기가 cis 위치로 배위되어 있음을 나타냈으며, $^1H$$^{13}C$ 핵자기 공명 스펙트럼은 이들 착물이 pyz가 다리결합하고 있는 이핵 착물임을 나타내었다.

지하수의 Br : Cl 함량비를 이용한 울산지역 해수침입 연구 (Study on the Possibility of Seawater Intrusion in the Ulsan Area Using Br : Cl Weight Ratios of Groundwater)

  • 울산광역시에 대한 해수침입 가능성을 171개 지하수 수질분석 자료를 이용하여 연구하였다. 연구지역에서 Cl의 함량이 높은 지역은 남구의 태화강 주변 저지대로서 최대 11,300 mg/L이고, 동구 해안일대는 지질학적 특성 때문에 상당히 낮은 Cl 함량을 보인다. Cl의 함량이 낮을수록 해수의 Br:Cl 함량비인 $34.7{\times}10^{-4}$에서 크게 벗어나지만, Cl의 함량이 100 mg/L 이상인 지하수는 해수의 Br:Cl 비인 $34.7{\times}10^{-4}$에 근접함을 보인다. 171개 지하수 중 Cl의 함량이 500 mg/L이상 되는 11개 시료의 Cl, Br, K, Na의 조성비는 해수와 비슷하나, Ca, Mg, $SO_4$, $HCO_3$, $SiO_2$의 조성비는 해수와 다르다. Cl함량이 500 mg/L 이상인 11개 지하수 시료의 Na/Cl 몰비는 0.35∼2.08의 범위이며(해수 0.75), Ca/Cl 몰비는 0.001∼0.20의 범위(해수 0.02), Mg/Cl 농도비는 0.001∼0.22의 범위(해수 0.09)를 보인다. 따라서 현재 태화강 일대 지하수의 Cl 함량이 높은 것은 해수침입보다는 과거 도시화 이전 충적층에 축적되어 있었던 염분이 고립되어 나타나는 현상으로 추정되며, 이 염분의 농도는 지하수 유출량보다는 유입량이 더 많은 도시지역 지하수 시스템을 고려할 때 시간이 지남에 따라서 점점 낮아질 것으로 예상된다.

Geometric Modeling and Five-axis Machining of Tire Master Models

  • Tire molds are manufactured by aluminum casting, direct five-axis machining, and electric discharging machining. Master models made of chemical wood are necessary if aluminum casting is used. They are designed with a three-dimensional computer-aided design system and milled by a five-axis machine. In this paper, a method for generating and machining a tire surface model is proposed and demonstrated. The groove surfaces, which are the main feature of the tire model, are created using a parametric design concept. An automatically programmed tool-like descriptive language is presented to implement the parametric design. Various groove geometries can be created by changing variables. For convenience, groove surfaces and raw cutter location (CL) data are generated in two-dimensional drawing space. The CL data are mapped to the tread surface to obtain five-axis CL data to machine the master model. The proposed method was tested by actual milling using the five-axis control machine. The results demonstrate that the method is useful for manufacturing a tire mold.

자유곡면 5축 NC가공에 있어서의 최적 CL data산출

  • 5-axis NC machining of sculptured surface using non-ballendmill cutters (eg. facemilling cutters) is widely used in the machining of turbine blades and marine propellers. Since there are more degrees of freedom in 5-axis machining than in 3-axis machining, generating "optimum" cutter paths and finding desirable cutter positions become very important in order for an efficient use of 5-axis NC machines. Also critical in 5-axis NC machining are collision avoidance, gouging checking, and efficient kinematic solutions. In this paper we discuss the above issues in generating 5-axis CL data. They are : kinematics modeling of NC machine; inverse kinematics solution; interference between machine component and surface; cutter gouging. A unique search method for obtaining optimal CL data is proposed. The proposed method has been successfully implemented in the machining of marine propellers on a dual 5-axis (ie, 9-axis) NC machine.C machine.

진한 염산용액에서 Alamine336에 의한 염화코발트의 용매추출 (Solvent Extraction of Cobalt Chloride from Strong Hydrochloric Acid Solutions by Alamine336)

  • Solvent extraction reaction of cobalt by Alamine336 from strong hydrochloric acid solution was identified by analyzing the solvent extraction data reported in the literature. Analysis of the data by graphical method revealed that Alamine336 took part in the solvent extraction reaction as a monomer in the concentration ranges, [Co(II)] : 0.0169 - 0.102 M, [Alamine336] ; 0.02- 1.75 M, and [HCl ] : 5 - 10 M. The following solvent extraction reaction and equilibrium constant was obtained from the experimental data by considering the activity coefficients of chemical species present in the aqueous phase. $Co^{2+}+2Cl^{-}+R_3NHCl_{org}=CoCl_3\;R_3NH_{org}$, $K_{ex}=2.21$ The distribution coefficients of cobalt predicted in this study agreed well with those reported in the literature.

Parallel LDPC Decoding on a Heterogeneous Platform using OpenCL

  • Modern mobile devices are equipped with various accelerated processing units to handle computationally intensive applications; therefore, Open Computing Language (OpenCL) has been proposed to fully take advantage of the computational power in heterogeneous systems. This article introduces a parallel software decoder of Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) codes on an embedded heterogeneous platform using an OpenCL framework. The LDPC code is one of the most popular and strongest error correcting codes for mobile communication systems. Each step of LDPC decoding has different parallelization characteristics. In the proposed LDPC decoder, steps suitable for task-level parallelization are executed on the multi-core central processing unit (CPU), and steps suitable for data-level parallelization are processed by the graphics processing unit (GPU). To improve the performance of OpenCL kernels for LDPC decoding operations, explicit thread scheduling, vectorization, and effective data transfer techniques are applied. The proposed LDPC decoder achieves high performance and high power efficiency by using heterogeneous multi-core processors on a unified computing framework.

SENSITIZED PHOTOINITIATING SYSTEM USED IN PHOTOPOLYMER FILMS

  • Photploymer films are widely used in printing and electronic industries, and their usage is expanding to encompass holography, data storage and data processing, optical waveguides and compact disks, etc. One of widely used photoplymerization initiator, 20chloro-hexaarylbiimidazole (o-Cl-HABI), is studied by laser flash photolysis in dichloromethane solution in the absence and presence of the visible light photosensitizing dye, 2, 5-bis[(2, 3, 6, 7 -tetrahydro- 1H, 5H -benzo [i, j,] quinolizin -1-yl) methylene]-cyclopenta-none, (JAW). In the presence of JAW, an increase in triarylimidazolyl radicals L.formation is observed in relative to the absence of JAW. The mechanism of this photosensitizing dissociation is concluded as the dissociation of the o-Cl-HABI radical anion formed by the electron transfer from excited singlet state of JAW to o-Cl-HABI. The observed formation of L.radicals exhibits a linear dependence on o-Cl-HABI concentration. The rate constant of electron transfer obtained from this dependence is equal to (1.0$\pm$0.2) x $10^9 M^{-1}s^{-1}$. No reaction between the excited triplet state of JAW and o-Cl-HABI is found.

공구이동궤적 모델을 이용한 5축 페이스밀링 가공데이터 생성 (Five-axis CL Data Generation by Considering Tool Swept Surface Model in Face Milling of Sculptured Surface)

  • It is well known that the five-axis machining has advantages of tool accessibility and machined surface quality when compared with conventional three-axis machining. Traditional researches on the five-axis tool-path generation have addressed interferences such as cutter gouging, collision, machine kinematics and optimization of a CL(cutter location) or a cutter position. In the paper it is presented that optimal CL data for a face-milling cutter moving on a tool-path are obtained by incorporating TSS(tool swept surface) model. The TSS model from current CL position to the next CL position is constructed based on machine kinematics as well as cutter geometry, with which the deviation from the design surface can be computed. Then the next CC(cutter-contact) point should be adjusted such that the deviation conforms to given machining tolerance value. The proposed algorithm was implemented and applied to a marine propeller machining, which proved effective from a quantitative point of view. In addition, the algorithm using the TSS can also be applied to avoid cutter convex interferences in general three-axis NC machining.

Sucrose-NaCl- 물의 3성분 혼합액체의 점도에 관한 연구 (Viscosities of Ternary Mixtures of Sucrose-Sodium Chloride-Water)

  • sucrose-Nacl-물의 3성분 혼합액체의 점도를 예측하기 위한 모델을 결정하기 위하여 온도 $10{\sim}40^{\circ}C$, NaCl농도 $1.0064{\sim}5.7037mol$, sucrose농도 $0.3436{\sim}2.5966mol$의 범위에서 점도 실험을 행한 결과 다음의 결과를 얻었다. NaCl용액의 점도는 식 (8)로, sucrose용액의 점도는 식 (5)로 나타낼 수 있었다. 또한 식 (8)과 (5)의 계수들은 강한 온도의존성을 가지고 있었고 식 (7)로 표현되었다. NaCl-sucrose-물의 3성분 혼합액체의 점도는 5개의 계수를 가진 다항식인 식 (9)로 상당히 정확하게 표현할 수 있었고, NaCl용액과 sucrose용액 사이에는 상호작용은 거의 없는 것으로 생각되었다.

청소년의 우울성향과 건강관련행위간의 관계 연구 (The Relationship between Depression and Health Behavior in Adolescents)

  • Purpose: This study was done to explore the levels of depression experienced by adolescents, and to compare health behavior between depressed and non-depressed adolescents. Method: Participants were chosen by a stratified random sampling of adolescents in the second grade of a high school in P city. Levels of depression and health behavior of the students were measured using questionnaires. Data collection was done in May, 2002. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and logistic regression using the SPSS WIN 10.0 Program. Results: The prevalence of depression (CES-D) among the students was $53.5\%$. In multiple logistic regression analysis, sex (OR 1.80, $95\%$ Cl 1.35-2.41), school performance, mid (OR 1.68, $95\%$ Cl 1.48-1.97) and low (OR 1.42, $95\%$ Cl 1.29-1.61), drinking (OR 1.47, $95\%$ Cl 1.09-1.98), and not eating breakfast (OR 1.74, $95\%$ Cl 1.56-1.97) were significantly higher in students in the depressed group than those in the non-depressed group. Conclusions: Based on the findings, we concluded that many adolescent experience depression and depression in adolescents is significantly related to behaviors of smoking, alcohol, no exercise, and not eating breakfast. However this study did not address causality among these variables. There, further research, such as a longitudinal study, is needed to identify causality among the variables.
