  • AC loss is an important factor in the development of superconducting tapes and superconducting power applications. In this paper we measured and compared characteristics of BSCCO tape and YBCO Coated Conductor(YBCO CC). BSCCO tape was fabricated by PIT method. We measured critical current density and transport current loss of it. Also, YBCO CC tape consist of substrate. buffer, YBCO and metal layers. We measured critical current density on variations of external magnetic field and transport current loss of these cases. The results of measurement show that normalized critical current of YBCO CC is smaller then that of BSCCO tape in the external magnet field. According to the results. measured loss and calculated of the YBCO CC show the same tendency.

  • This paper describes an implementation of system based on ZIGBEE wireless communication technique to prevent for diseases of skin ailments and respiratory ailments as sensing the air pollutions that breaks out in the inside and purifying. ZIGBEE wireless communication technique has features - low battery consumption, low cost, acceptance of the maximum 256 node and simple protocol structure of below 32Kbyte. Hardware platform is implemented by using ATmega128L in ATmel corporation and 2.4GHz RF-IC CC2420 in Chipcon corporation and dust sensor(GP2Y1010AU) and gas sensor(GSBT11) that confirm degree of inside air pollution for ZIGBEE wireless communication technique.

  • This study was carried out to investigate the comparison of immunomodualtory effects of water-extracted Aconiti lateralis Preparata Radix(PR), Zingiberis Rhizoma(ZR), Cinnamomi Cortex(CC) and Evodiae Fructus(EF). The parameter examined to assess apparent immunomodulatory effect of the water-extracted PR, ZR, CC and EF included the regulation of Nitric oxide (NO). Also, ZR and EF represent the expression of Th1/Th2 type cytokine, the change of B cell phenotype. The water-extracted PR, ZR, CC and EF inhibited NO production and iNOS protein expression in LPS stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophage cells. In the Th1 and Th2 cytokine expression, the water-extracted ZR and EF induced IL-2, IFNr and IL-10 mRNA gene expression. Therefore, it seems that the water-extracted ZR and EF have a inducing effect of Th1 and Th2 type cytokines. In the Flow cytometry analysis, the water-extracted ZR and EF changed B cell phenotype (CD45R/B220), did NOT in PR and CC. The water-extracted PR, ZR, CC and EF have a reducing effect of immune suppression cause by Methotrexate (MTX), an agent of immune suppression. These results suggest that the immunomodulatory effects of the water-extracted ZR and EF may be, in part, associated with the inducing IL-2 and IFNr mRNA gene expression In and regulation of NO production in macrophage cells.

  • The attenuated total reflection infrared (ATR-IR) spectra of trans-polyacetylene (trans-PA) film doped with sodium (n-doping) were observed in the range of 1900 to $700cm^{-1}$. The observed IR bands were attributed to negatively charged domains created by n-doping electrons. The doping-induced IR bands showed considerable difference from its pristine film. After doping, the out-of-plane CH deformation band of the strong $1010cm^{-1}$ region in the pristine film disappeared while several new bands were observed at 1600 (due to C=C stretching), 1400 (due to in-plane CH bending), 1290 and 1174 (due to CH stretching), and $880cm^{-1}$ (due to CC stretching) regions for Na-doped PA. In particular, a weak band of C=C stretching at $1600cm^{-1}$ was newly obtained for the first time in the present study. The electro conductivity of the doped trans-PA film was $10^2S/cm$ and the origins of doping-induced IR bands are discussed in terms of solitons and polarons.

  • Recently industrial launderers face challenges in order to remain efficient and competitive. This paper describes the wireless laundry assorting system to prevent the economic loss caused by sorting the laundries incorrectly. Proposed system consists of wireless modules, barcode reader, and PC with base module. The wireless modules communicate with base module, and display the customer's information and amount of total and/or current sorting laundries. Proposed system works with leading services to further improve the efficiency of laundry processes.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the concentration levels of particle materials ($PM_{10}$, asbestos), gas materials ($CO_2$, CO, $NO_2$, HCHO, Rn, VOCs) and total suspended colony (TSC), and the correlations among these materials in indoor air quality of 54 multiple-use facilities and 15 public-use facilities of Gwangju. The highest mean concentration of $PM_{10}$ was $69.2\;{\mu}g/m^3$ at indoor parking place, followed by childcare facilities, large commercial building and subway station building. The highest mean concentration of CO was 2.7 ppm at indoor parking place and that of $CO_2$ was 604.1 ppm at medical service facilities. The highest mean concentration of $NO_2$ was 0.036 ppm at indoor parking place. The geomean concentration of HCHO was $3.6\;{\mu}g/m^3$ in all facilities and the highest was $631.8\;{\mu}g/m^3$ at art gallery. The geomean concentration of VOCs (5 species) was $24.14\;{\mu}g/m^3$ in all facilities and toluene was the highest material of $15.30\;{\mu}g/m^3$, followed by xylene, ethylbenzene, benzene and styrene. The highest mean concentration of TSC was $625.3\;CFU/m^3$ at jjimjilbang, followed by childcare facilities, medical service facilities and large commercial building. The highest of asbestos was 0.0072 each/cc at childcare facilities and that of radon was 1.41 pCi/L at art gallery. PM10 showed positive correlations to TSC with $R^2\0.5332$ by lognormal equation at childcare facilities. CO2 showed positive correlations to CO at childcare facilities and indoor parking place. Lognormal equation fitted to the VOCs data more than normal equation in all facilities.
