The purpose of this study is to analyze the preferences for urban residence. Data was collected from the people who are working in the CBD area. The results of this study are as following; 1) The 40.3% of people working in CBD area prefer living in the CBD area. It contains 5.6% of people who are working in the CBD area. It can be interpreted that there are some potential residential preference in the CBA area. 2) People who prefer living in the CBD area are shown that they have been working in the CBD area for a long time with their living status of the middle class and their ages over 50. 3) The favorable area for CBD workers is located within 10 minutes by bus or within working distance. 4) Their favorable housing types are respectively apartments, mixed, and single housing. It means that they prefer the mixed functioning type of housing to the apartment. It tells that it is necessary to develop the new types of housing.

The Ministry of National Defense has developed MND-AF and Defense-CBD methodology to make the integration and management of standardization effective through enhancing the interoperability and reusability of information systems. Yet no explicit guidelines or procedures have not been developed for the applying range and mutual relationship of the artifacts between MND-AF and Defense-CBD methodology. Thus, the development time is unnecessarily extended and budget also is increasing because both methodologies produce the artifacts respectively. This paper presents a reusability enhancement scheme for producing MND-AF artifacts according to Defense-CBD process by analyzing artifacts of two methodology les at each element level, so that it will reduce the overhead of producing the artifacts and enhance the completeness of the artifacts. In result, in the case of applying Defense-CBD methodology for developing a information system34 artifacts out of 37 MND-AF artifacts can be reusable.
Bacteriophage endolysins are peptidoglycan hydrolases composed of cell binding domain (CBD) and an enzymatically active domain. A phage endolysin CBD can be used for detecting bacteria owing to its high specificity and sensitivity toward the bacterial cell wall. We aimed to develop a method for detection of Enterococcus faecalis using an endolysin CBD. The gene encoding the CBD of ECP3 phage endolysin was cloned into the Escherichia coli expression vector pET21a. A recombinant protein with a C-terminal 6-His-tag (CBD) was expressed and purified using a His-trap column. CBD was adsorbed onto epoxy magnetic beads (eMBs). The bacterial species specificity and sensitivity of bacterial binding to CBD-eMB complexes were determined using the bacterial colony counting from the magnetic separations after the binding reaction between bacteria and CBD-eMB complexes. E. faecalis could bind to CBD-eMB complexes, but other bacteria (such as Enterococcus faecium, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Acinetobacter baumannii, Streptococcus mutans, and Porphyromonas gingivalis) could not. E. faecalis cells were fixed onto CBD-eMB complexes within 1 h, and >78% of viable E. faecalis cells were recovered. The E. faecalis recovery ratio was not affected by the other bacterial species. The detection limit of the CBD-eMB complex for E. faecalis was >17 CFU/ml. We developed a simple method for the specific detection of E. faecalis using bacteriophage endolysin CBD and MBs. This is the first study to determine that the C-terminal region of ECP3 phage endolysin is a highly specific binding site for E. faecalis among other bacterial species.
The main purpose of this study is to delimit the boundary of central business district and to describe the internal structure of CBD in Seoul. To delimit the CBD boundary, we used the locational matrices of main CBD functions, which were ofganized through fieldworks. CBD functions are classified into 20 categories. They are retail sales, corporation managements, administration managements, business, and unclassified services, customer(personal)services, and manufacturings. The core area of CBD in Seoul is at Chongro and Chung Gu area that shows the locational consistency comparing to 1970s. Although the boundary is slightly expanded into west, south and east, the extent of horizontal expansion in CBD can be negligible comparing to the remarkable growth of Korean economy after 1970s. The reasons why CBD showed little expansion can be found out from the process of restructuring in Seoul metropolitan area, such as the growth of subcenters, decentralization of central functions, construction of highrise buildings, redevelopment in central area and so on. Internal structure of Seoul's CBD shows 5 specialized functional subdistricts. They are CBD core area, subdistrict of department and office functions, retail sales, customer services and light manufacturings.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to describe our treatment experiences with patients who had acute abdomen (AA) with common bile duct (CBD) dilatation. Methods: The treatment outcomes in children with AA and CBD dilatation were retrospectively reviewed. According to the shape of the intrahepatic bile ducts on ultrasonography (US), the origin of the pain was estimated as choledochal cyst (CC) complication or choledocholithiasis in normal CBD. Patients with complicated CC underwent surgery, and patients with choledocholithiasis in a normal appearing CBD underwent symptomatic treatment initially. Results: Of the 34 patients, 30 (88.2%) were female. The mean age of the patients was $6.4{\pm}4.9$ (range, 0.8-17) years. Seventeen (50.0%) patients had CBD stones and 17 (50.0%) did not. Surgical treatment was performed in 20 (58.8%) patients, 2 of whom underwent preoperative stone removal with endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography and an operation. Conservative treatment was applied in 12 (35.3%) patients (8 with and 4 without stones), 1 of whom developed symptom relapse and underwent an operation. Among the 8 patients with CBD stones, 4 (4/17, 23.5%) had complete resolution of the stones and recovery of the CBD diameter after conservative treatment. US findings of patients with stone showed a fusiform or cylindrical shape of the CBD in 14 (82.4%) patients. Conclusion: The presence of stones in the distal CBD and the US features of CBD dilatation may be helpful to diagnose and treat the causes of biliary dilatation. Conservative treatment can be considered as initial therapy in patients with uncomplicated CBD dilatation with stone.

Different from traditional development methodologies like waterfall model, the CBD (component based development) methodology relies on a building block approach in the design and development of information system. The audit procedure and checklist for the traditional IS development methodology are required to be modified to be suitable for CBD. This research reviewed IS audit guidelines for the existing development process and analyzed multiple projects that employed the by component based development process. For the purpose of this study, we chose a governmental project and a next-generation IS project of a financial agency as sample cases. By comparing existing IS audit checklists and items actually reviewed in audit projects, this study identified appropriate check items for the CBD-centric audit program. New items were proposed as additional items such as project control in management phase, usage case and conceptual model establishment, component evaluation and design, in implementation phase, and so forth. The result of the research provides new guidelines for the audit CBD projects for the purposed of increased efficiency and qualify of application development projects.

Polycrystalline cadmium sulfide(CdS) thin films were deposited on glass substrate by chemical bath deposition(CBD) and vacuum evaporation (VE) techniques. VE-CdS films consisted primarily of hexagonal phase, whereas CBD CdS films containing primarily the cubic form. VE-grown films were shown to have better crystallinity than CBD-grown films. The grain size of the CBD films is smaller than the ones of VE films. VE-CdS films exhibited relatively high transmittance in the above-gap region and band gap compared with CBD films. However, CdTe solar cells with these low quality CBD-CdS layers yield higher and more stable characteristics. Current-voltage-temperature measurements showed that the current transport for both cells was controlled by both tunneling and interface recombination but the cells with CBD-CdS displayed less tunneling.

As component-based development (CBD) rapidly spread throughout the software industry, a comprehensive methodology is needed to apply it more systematically. For this purpose, a new CBD methodology named Magic & Robust Methodology Integrated III (MaRMI-III) has been developed. The purpose of this paper is to present MaRMI-III by its constituent processes and claim that it can be used to support system developers conduct CBD in a consistent manner. First, we review the CBD approach to system development and the role of CBD methodology, and then we explain the several characteristics of MaRMI-III which are considered necessary to the CBD environment. Next, we explain a process model of MaRMI-III which separates the development process from the project management process and prescribes well-ordered activities and tasks that the developer should conduct. Each phase forming the Process Model is explained in terms of its objectives and main constituent activities. Some techniques and workproducts related to each phase are also explained. Finally, to examine the usefulness of MaRMI-III, an analytical comparison with other CBD methodologies and the results of a questionnaire survey are described.
