도시철도표준화 기술자료 정보화 DB 스키마 설계 사례에 관한 연구 (A case study on the design of the schema of the information DB of the City-Train Standardization)

  • 본 논문은 도시철도 개발과 관련된 기술 자료들을 표준화시키기 위한 프로젝트에서 생성되는 자료들을 체계적으로 관리하기 위한 방안에 대한 사례 연구이다. 이 사례에서는 자료의 DB화, 스키마 설계, 자료와 해당 항목의 연결 절차를 이용하여 데이터 관리 시스템을 구축하였다. 데이터관리 시스템은 시스템엔지니어링 도구인 Cradle을 이용하여 구축되었다. 이렇게 구축된 데이터관리 시스템은 저장된 방대한 정보를 손쉽게 찾을 수 있을 뿐 아니라 해당 정보와 연관된 정보 및 데이터를 빠른 시간에 찾아낼 수 있게 해 준다.

SAT-Analyser Traceability Management Tool Support for DevOps

  • At present, DevOps environments are getting popular in software organizations due to better collaboration and software productivity over traditional software process models. Software artefacts in DevOps environments are vulnerable to frequent changes at any phase of the software development life cycle that create a continuous integration continuous delivery pipeline. Therefore, software artefact traceability management is challenging in DevOps environments due to the continual artefact changes; often it makes the artefacts to be inconsistent. The existing software traceability related research shows limitations such as being limited to few types of artefacts, lack of automation and inability to cope with continuous integrations. This paper attempts to overcome those challenges by providing traceability support for heterogeneous artefacts in DevOps environments using a prototype named SAT-Analyser. The novel contribution of this work is the proposed traceability process model consists of artefact change detection, change impact analysis, and change propagation. Moreover, this tool provides multi-user accessibility and is integrated with a prominent DevOps tool stack to enable collaborations. The case study analysis has shown high accuracy in SAT-Analyser generated results and have obtained positive feedback from industry DevOps practitioners for its efficacy.

A Study on SFCL with IGBT Based DC Circuit Breaker in Electric Power Grid

  • Recently, DC systems are considered as efficient electric power systems for renewable energy based clean power generators. This discloses several critical issues that are required to be considered before the installation of the DC systems. First of all, voltage/current switching stress, which is aggravated by large fault current, might damage DC circuit breakers. This problem can be simply solved by applying a superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL) as proposed in this study. It allows a simple use of insulated-gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) as a DC circuit breaker. To evaluate the proposed resistive type SFCL application to the DC circuit breaker, a DC distribution system is composed of the practical line impedances from the real distribution system in Do-gok area, Korea. Also, to reflect the distributed generation (DG) effects, several DC-to-DC converters are applied. The locations and sizes of the DGs are optimally selected according to the results of previous studies on DG optimization. The performance of the resistive type SFCL applied DC circuit breaker is verified by a time-domain simulation based case study using the power systems computer aided design/electromagnetic transients including DC (PSCAD/ EMTDC(R)).

  • Typical railway systems are composed of the various sub-systems, such as tracks, structures, electricity supplying systems, signal systems and vehicles. The roles of the sub-systems are clarified in the railway regulations in terms of their whole life cycle, as like design, operation and disposal stages. The regulations express clearly the basic specifications and requirements that need to accomplish their own performance and also state the standards and procedures for the normal operations and emergency conditions. In this paper the current railway regulation systems are analyzed and average revision periods are presented as the results of the analysis on revision history of railway safety regulations. This paper also presents the requirements for national safety standards based on Railway Safety Act and the necessity of application of system computer aided system engineering (CASE) tool for the improvement of legislation tasks. By exemplifying the cases of high speed rail system and Japanese cases that had developed softwares for supporing regulation revision management, the methodologies was studied for reconstruction of railway safety regulation system. As the results, it was presented such as the considerations for actual implementation and systematic safety regulation revision.

  • 복잡한 환경에서 안전한 IT환경은 하나이상으로 분리된 데이터의 그룹으로 나뉘어 같은 시스템에 상주하지 않게 함으로서 그 목적을 얻을 수 있다. 이러한 시스템의 사용자는 특정 데이터에 접근하는 방법과 등급을 다르게 하여야 한다. 정보구조, 물리적 구조, 사용자 권한 및 응용프로그램 보안 정책을 위한 유지 보수 등은 이러한 환경 관리를 더욱 복잡하게 하고 보안 관리자의 수의 증가를 가져온다. 본 논문은 이러한 환경관리를 위한 CM 툴을 시스템 공학의 CASE 툴을 모델로 하여 제안하고자 한다. 시스템 공학의 모델링 기법은 다중 정보 보안을 처리하는 데 사용할 수 있다. SE의 CASE 툴 모델은 동일 시스템에 대한 논리와 물리적인 관리를 쉽게 할 수 있는 중요한 구성 요소를 가지게 된다. CASE 툴의 확장된 영역은 물리적인 CM 툴을 사용자 친화적이고 안전한 IT시스템의 관리 환경의 문제점을 해결하는 기본을 제공하게 될 것이다.

전방 충돌경보 및 회피시스템 모델링 (Modeling of Forward Collision Warning and Avoidance System)

  • This paper describes modeling and simulation of automotive forward collision warning and avoidance system using CASE(Computer-Aided Systems Engineering) tool. The system is composed or many sensors, a controller, warning devices, brakes and etc. The system was modeled by one activity chart, fourteen state charts and one module chart. Rear-end collision scenarios was generated by Simulink and used to support Stalemate model. The resulting model was used to evaluate the correctness of function and behavior of the system. A simulator for the system has been designed and used to validate the model under realistic operating conditions in the laboratory. To model and simulate the system's functionality and behavior brings clarity to system design early in the system development.

  • 분산처리 시스템을 위한 소프트웨어 개발 방법 및 이를 지원하는 프레임워크의 개발은 분산처리 시스템을 위한 좋은 소프트웨어의 개발을 위해 매우 필요한 일이라 할 수 있다. 즉, 분산처리 시스템을 위한 신뢰성 있고 적합성과 확장성을 가진 소프트웨어의 개발은 매우 중요한 일이다. 자치적 분산처리 시스템(Autonomous Decentralized Systems)은 온라인 확장성과 온라인 유지보수성 및 fault tolerance기능을 가진 분산처리 시스템이다. 이 논문에서는 자치적 분산처리 시스템을 위한 객체지향 소프트웨어 개발을 지원하는 프레임워크에 대하여 논한다. 이 프레임워크는 객체지향 요구 분석과 객체지향 설계, 구현, 프로세서에 타스크(task)의 할당, 검증 및 유지보수로 구성되어 있으며, 온라인 확장성과 온라인 변경성(modifiability)을 지원한다. 자치적 분산처리 애플리케이션 소프트웨어 개발을 지원하는 프레임워크는 객체지향 computation 모델을 근간으로 하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 프레임워크외에도 자치적 분산처리 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 CASE(Computer Aided Software Engineering) 환경에 대하여서도 논한다.

기능 모델의 효과적인 활용을 통한 역공학 프로세스의 개선에 관한 연구 (On Improving the Reverse Engineering Process by Effectively Utilizing the Functional Models)

  • The necessity of the new system development arises in both defence and commercial systems industry either when a breakthrough in technology needs to be realized in the form of a brand-new system or when the existing product already in operation needs to be upgraded to satisfy the increasing stakeholder's requirements. In the latter case, it is not rare that specific system technical specifications on the existing products are not available. The purpose of this study is to investigate how to handle the difficulty when an upgraded system is required to be developed based on the existing product whose detailed technical specifications cannot be obtained. A step-by-step process is described based on the reverse engineering of the existing product. As a result, a logical system model is obtained for the product. The process developed is further enhanced and evaluated by the computer-aided system engineering tool. The resulting logical system model should be helpful in the next phase of the new product development.

CAE를 이용한 자동차용 부품(Gear Box)의 주조방안 설계에 대한 사례연구 (Case Study for Casting Design of Automobile Part(Gear Box) Using CAE)

  • When manufacturing die casting mold, generally, the casting layout design should be considered based on the relation among injection system, casting condition, gate system, and cooling system. Also, the extent or the location of product defects was differentiated according to the various relations of the above conditions. In this research, in order to optimize casting design of an automobile part (Gear Box) Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) was performed by using the simulation software (Z Cast). The simulation results were analyzed and compared with experimental results. During the mold filling, internal porosities caused by air entrap were predicted and reduced remarkably by the modification of the gate system and the configuration of overflow. With the solidification analysis, internal porosities caused by the solidification shrinkage were predicted and reduced by the modification of the gate system. For making a better production die casting tool, cooling systems on several thick areas are proposed in order to reduce internal porosities caused by the solidification shrinkage.

절삭력 최적화를 통한 핸드폰 Unibody Case 가공 싸이클 타임 단축 및 표면 조도 향상에 관한 연구 (Study to Reduce Process Cycle Time and to Improve Surface Roughness of a Mobile Phone Unibody Case through Cutting Force Optimization)

  • Machining optimization using typical computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software mainly depends on tool paths, and it is impossible to predict the behavior of material or cutting force. In this paper, cutting force analysis simulation is performed on the Unibody Case of a mobile phone with the aim of optimizing cutting-force-based machining using the Third Wave Systems' AdventEdge Production Module. Machining time after optimization was shortened by 42% for roughing compared to pre-optimization, and actual machining time was reduced by 36.8%. For finishing, machining time was reduced by 92%, and actual machining time was reduced around 90%. A surface roughness analysis found that the post-optimization surface roughness was $1.16{\mu}m$ Ra, compared to a pre-optimization value of $1.75{\mu}m$ Ra.
