Design and Implementation of specialized Web 2.0 Travel Agency System (특화된 웹2.0 여행사 시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • This paper is an explanation of a design and an implementation of Web 2.0 online travel agency system for frequent decision-making. On the Web 2.0 travel agency system, optimized information is obtained by applying data mining technology such as association rules, decision trees, and neural networks, and this system is a unified system that consists of the block systems of hotels, ground traffic, and flights in tour packages of a travel agency system. Furthermore, it is implemented to manage the system that is not for the administrator of a travel agency system, but for users or communities that use the system need their own information. The expected effect of this system is to maximize the investment company's efficiency through a new-concept interest model created by B2C customers, and also B2B small and medium-sized travel agencies adopting the system. As a result, it is a system that stimulates dormant customer activity and prevents good customers from leaving by maximizing the merit and capacity of the existed web site for marketing. Moreover, this system is also a model for people who plan customized travel agency business, and will show a way for the domestic and international travel agency industry's globalization.

  • LX Hausys, a leading manufacturer of building materials in South Korea is engaging in the interior business where it is critical to balance between the needs of end-users (B2C) and the needs of corporate consumers (B2B) in an effective manner. Therefore, it is utmost important for the company to ensure that customer communication takes place in two directions based on correct market segmentation strategies, which in turn require a deep understanding of current as well as potential consumers. To accomplish this, LX Hausys conducted both quantitative and qualitative studies to establish a market segmentation strategy which is genuinely different from "general" consumer goods market segmentation strategies. As a result, especially since 2018, its brand (LX Z:IN) began to move up to 1st or 2nd place in a variety of brand rankings. This paper aims to look closely into various characteristic aspects of LXH's market segmentation strategy, and also shows how it is implemented in the real world.

  • Recent economic depression aggravates the difficulty in employment, and it has been expanded to a social issue. Even worse, low wage structure in the textile and fashion industry, and inferior working environment make it difficult for fashion design graduates to stably settle down in society. To tackle all these problems, the demand of a new educational model is on the rise. In responding to such economic and educational environment changes, we can actively cope with structural problems in the textile and fashion field, and a social problem of youth unemployment by vigorously using the Internet as a tool for practice. In other words, Startups are reinvigorated through hands-on education, focused on information by introducing the factor of supply chain management (SCM), which efficiently manages resources within the supply chain, and a business to customer (B2C) model, and by utilizing these for startup education.

Optimal Incentives for Customer Satisfaction in Multi-channel Setting (멀티채널에서의 고객만족제고 인센티브 연구)

  • CS is one of the major concerns of managers in the world because it is well known to be a key medium construct for firms' superior outcome. One of the major agents for CS management is retailers. Firms try to manage not only employees but also retailers to promote CS behaviors. And so diverse incentives are used to promote their CS behaviors under diverse channel setting such as multi-channel. However in spite of the rising needs there has been scarce studies on the optimal incentive structure for a manufacturer to offer competing retailers at the multi-channel. In this paper, we try to find better way for a manufacturer to promote the competing retailers' CS behaviors. We investigated how to promote the retailers' CS behavior via game-theoretic modeling. Especially, we focus on the possible incentive, CS bonus type reward introduced in the studies of Hauser, Simester, and Wernerfelt(1994) and Chu and Desai(1995). We build up a multi stage complete information game and derive a subgame perfect equilibrium using backward induction. Stages of the game are as following. (Stage 1) Manufacturer sets wholesale price(w) and CS bonus($\eta$). (Stage 2) Both retailers in competition set CS effort level($e_i$) and retail price($p_i$) simultaneously. (Stage 3) Consumers make purchasing decisions based on the manufacturer's initial reputation and retailers' CS efforts.

    Structure of the Model We investigated four issues about the topic as following: (1) How much total incentive is adequate for a firm of a specific level of reputation to promote retailers' CS behavior under multi-channel setting ?, (2) How much total incentive is adequate under diverse level of complimentary externalities between the retailers' CS efforts to promote retailers' CS behavior?, (3) How much total incentive is adequate under diverse level of cost to make CS efforts to promote retailers' CS behavior?, (4) How much total incentive is adequate under diverse level of competition between retailers to promote retailers' CS behavior? Our findings are as following. (1) The higher reputation has the manufacturer, the higher incentives for retailers at multi-channel are required in the equilibrium.

(2) The bigger complimentary externalities exists between the retailers' CS efforts, the higher incentives are required in the equilibrium.

One of the major contribution points of this study is the fact that this study is the first to investigate the optimal CS incentive system under multi-channel setting.

Study of Stress Distribution of Cold Rolled Steel Sheets in Tension Leveling Process (냉연 형상 교정시 Stress 천이 현상 연구)

  • The shape of cold rolled steel sheets is defined as the degree of flatness, and the flatter, the better. Because undesirable strip shapes of cold rolled steel sheets can affect not only visible problem but also automatic working process in customer's lines, the requirement of the customers is more and more stringent. So we usually used the tension leveler to make high quality of strip flatness. For the improvement of the quality of strip flatness, this report developed three- dimensional FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation model, and analysis about the strain and stress distribution of strip in the tension leveling process. The numerical study can be summarized as follows. (1) If we pass the edge wave material (steepness: $1.0\%$) that the stress-difference between the strip center and the edge is 5.2kgf through tension leveler. the stress-difference is decreased 0.45kgf and the steepness is improved to $0.29\%$. (2) If the Intermesh is increased from 6mm to 7mm, the steepness is improved from $0.294\%$ to $0.268\%$. (3) If the initial steepness is decreased form $1.0\%$ to $0.75\%$, the final steepness is improved from $0.294\%$ to $0.263\%$. We know that more increased intermesh and lower initial steepness make the final steepness improved.

  • 인터넷 이용의 급증에 따라 전자상거래(Electronic Commerce)가 시간적, 공간적 제약을 극복한 새로운 경제활동으로 지식, 정보기반시대의 새로운 패러다임으로 국가 경제, 사회의 변혁을 주도하는 수단으로 부각되고 있다. 이러한 시대적 환경과 인터넷 이용의 확산으로 전자상거래 시장규모도 이례 없이 증가하고 있다. 특히 전자상거래에 대비하는 대부분의 업체들이 내세우는 전략의 공통점은 B2C(Business to Customer) 보다는 B2B(Business to Business)에 중점을 두고 있다는 것이다. 기업간 전자상거래에 필수적인 요소로 부각되고 있는 워크플로우 관리 시스템이 서로 다른 벤더들에 의해 제작된 워크플로우 엔진들의 상호운영성이 보장되지 않기 때문에 전자상거래의 제 기능을 발휘하지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 벤더들에 의해 제작된 워크플로우 엔진들의 상호운영성을 위한 기본 명세에 대해 살펴보기로 한다. 또한 엄청난 비즈니스 프로세스로 구성되어 있는 기업간 전자상거래 상에서의 통합된 비즈니스 프로세스를 정의하기 위한 워크플로우 정의도구 구현 시 고려해야 할 사항들에 대해서 살펴보기로 한다.

  • A field-programmable gate array (FPGA) is an integrated circuit designed to be configured by a customer or a designer after manufacturing. The FPGA configuration is generally specified using a hardware description language (HDL), similar to that used for an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) (circuit diagrams were previously used to specify the configuration, as they were for ASICs, but this is increasingly rare). Contemporary FPGAs have large resources of logic gates and RAM blocks to implement complex digital computations. In this paper, we implement a system of digital instrumentation using FPGA. This system consists of the trigger part, memory address controller part, control FSM part, Encoder part, LCD controller part. The hardware implement using FPGA and the verification of the operation is done in a PC simulation. The proposed hardware was mapped into Cyclone III EP2C5Q208 from Altera and used 1,700(40%) of Logic Element (LE). The implemented circuit used 24,576-bit memory element with 6-bit input signal. The result from implementing in hardware (FPGA) could operate stably in 140MHz.

  • Since B2C(Business to Customer) from which e-commerce had originated was replaced by B2B, e-Business has shown fast growth so fa., Recently, e-Procurement by l:n concept is on the development as self-purchase system associated with their own ERP In many conglomerates in the Korean market. However, in order to vitalize e-Biz in the plant industry, we need to set up e-marketplaces where many sellers and buyers can meet each other at the same time, which has become the essential part for success as an expanded business model. In this paper, we expect that the foundation for e-transformation in the plant industry is set up by developing Purchase Process System and related modules as the prerequisite for e-Biz in the plant industry, and this report will provide an exemplary model for e-commerce. The Purchase Process System consists of 1) e-Purchasing Module that manages bidding and contract information based on quotation inquiry, 2) e-Expediting Module that manages information to guarantee the on-time delivery, 3) e-Certification Module that controls user authentification, 4) e-Basic Module that manages the bulletin boards, Q&A, etc.

  • 인터넷과 웹의 발전은 쇼핑몰 형태의 B2C(Business to Customer) 전자상거래를 비롯하여 기업간의 거래에도 많은 변화를 가져오게 되었다. B2B(Business to Business) 전자상거래는 기업간의 거래를 위하여 이기종간의 데이터 교환은 물론, 다양한 응용 어플리케이션과의 연동이 필수적이다. 기업간 거래에 있어서 가장 기본이 되는 EDI는 그 동안 EDIFACT, X.12와 같은 표준을 이용하여 이루어져 왔지만, 확장성과 유연성이 떨어지고 개발 및 유지, 보수에 많은 비용을 요구하기 때문에 일반 중 소기업들까지 사용하기에는 어려움이 많았다. 반면에, 인터넷과 웹이라는 누구나 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 수단과 XML 기술이 등장하면서 이를 EDI에 적용하여 확장성과 유연성을 높이고, 저렴한 비용으로 EDI 시스템을 효과적으로 구축할 수 있게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 한국전력에서 사용하는 전기신규접수 XML/EDI 시스템 개발 경험을 바탕으로 XML을 이용한 EDI 문서 설계와 XSL을 이용한 문서 처리 기술, 레거시(legacy) 시스템과의 연동, 보안 및 인증 기술의 적용 등을 바탕으로 XML/EDI 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 논하고자 한다.

  • Client requirements is a concept with increasing interest in relation to several outcomes of companies, and in particular, in the event of apartment project that takes large share in the domestic construction industry, diverse angle of survey is performed to discover the client requirements and reflect them to the project to improve the quality. For this purpose, it is required to learn the client requirements and apply it in the apartment project, and the QFD (Quality Function Deployment) linked ROQ (Return On Quality) is a technique used in the manufacturing that surveys the client requirements to improve the customer satisfaction, and apply it to the quality improvement program to improve the profitability in this process. In this study, through the application of the ROQ process, the plan to improve the apartment quality management is presented. For this purpose, the consumer interview survey, FGI (focus group interview) survey and the client requirements are analyzed, and thereafter, through the interview with the specialist, the quality improvement program that enables the application to the product development of new apartment product is established. Through this process, the new apartment quality management improvement plan is presented.
