The preparation of ZrC/SiC mixed powders from $ZrSiO_4/C$ and $ZrSiO_4/Al/C$ systems was attempted in the temperature range below $1600^{\circ}C$ under Ar or $Ar/H_2$ gas flow(100-500ml/min). The formation mechanism and kinetics of ZrC/SiC were suggested and the resultant powders were characterized. In $ZrSiO_4/C$ system, ZrC and SiC were formed by competitive reaction of $ZrO_2(s)$ and SiO(g) with carbon at temperature higher than $1400^{\circ}C$. The apparent activation energy for the formation of ZrC was approximately 18.5kcal/mol($1400-1600^{\circ}C$). In $ZrSiO_4/Al/C$ system, ZrC was formed by reaction of ZrO(g) with Al(l, g) and carbon at temperature higher than $1200^{\circ}C$, and SiC was formed by reduction-carbonization of SiO(g) with Al(l, g) and carbon at temperature higher than $1300^{\circ}C$. The products obtained at $1600^{\circ}C$ for 5h consisted of ZrC with lattice constant of $4.679{\AA}$ and crystallite size of $640{\AA}$, and SiC with lattice constant of $4.135{\AA}$ and crystallize size of $500{\AA}$. And also, the mean particle size was about $21.8{\mu}m$.
We have successfully fabricated 3D (3-dimensional) nanostructures of $TiO_2$ coated with a $g-C_3N_4$ layer via hydrothermal and sintering methods to enhance photoelectrochemical (PEC) performance. Due to the coupling of $TiO_2$ and $g-C_3N_4$, the nanostructures exhibited good performance as the higher conduction band of $g-C_3N_4$, which can be combined with $TiO_2$. To fabricate 3D nanostructures of $g-C_3N_4/TiO_2$, $TiO_2$ was first grown as a double layer structure on FTO (Fluorine-doped tin oxide) substrate at $150^{\circ}C$ for 3 h. After this, the $g-C_3N_4$ layer was coated on the $TiO_2$ film at $520^{\circ}C$ for 4 h. As-prepared samples were varied according to loading of melamine powder, with values of loading of 0.25 g, 0.5 g, 0.75 g, and 1 g. From SEM and TEM analysis, it was possible to clearly observe the 3D sample morphologies. From the PEC measurement, 0.5 g of $g-C_3N_4/TiO_2$ film was found to exhibit the highest current density of $0.12mA/cm^2$, along with a long-term stability of 5 h. Compared to the pristine $TiO_2$, and to the 0.25 g, 0.75 g, and 1 g $g-C_3N_4/TiO_2$ films, the 0.5 g of $g-C_3N_4/TiO_2$ sample was coated with a thin $g-C_3N_4$ layer that caused separation of the electrons and the holes; this led to a decreasing recombination. This unique structure can be used in photoelectrochemical applications.
This study was carried out to investigate the characteristics of Chungkookjang depending on different soybeans and fermentation temperatures using Bacillus amyloliquefaciens C2 isolated from homemade Chungkookjang. The highest protease activity was 854 U/g in yellow soybean Chungkookjang and 847 U/g in black soybean Chungkookjang at $35^{\circ}C$. The highest amylase activity was 3.87 U/g at $40^{\circ}C$ in yellow soybean Chungkookjang and 4.96 U/g at $45^{\circ}C$ in black soybean Chungkookjang. The highest reducing sugar content was 16.11 mg/g at $40^{\circ}C$ in yellow soybean Chungkookjang and 19.08 mg/g at $45^{\circ}C$ in black soybean Chungkookjang. The highest amino type nitrogen content was 420 mg%/g in yellow soybean Chungkookjang and 194 mg%/g in black soybean Chungkookjang at $40^{\circ}C$. The highest pH was 7.92 at $40^{\circ}C$ in yellow soybean Chungkookjang and 7.59 at $45^{\circ}C$ in black soybean Chungkookjang. The highest number of viable cell was 9.3 log CFU/g at $40^{\circ}C$ in yellow soybean Chungkookjang and at $35^{\circ}C$ in black soybean Chungkookjang. On the other hand, the lowest ammonia type nitrogen content was 225 mg%/g at $45^{\circ}C$ in yellow soybean Chungkookjang and 80 mg%/g at $40^{\circ}C$ in black soybean Chungkookjang. Yellow soybean Chungkookjang showed high protease activity, pH and amino type nitrogen, whereas black soybean Chungkookjang showed high amylase activity and reducing sugar.

This study was conducted to enhance the value of chamnamul (Pimpinella brachycarpa (Komarov) $N_{AKAI}$) as an useful food resource. Hunter L, a, b values (lightness, redness, yellowness) of chamnamul leaf were 33.28$\pm$1.94, -10.98$\pm$0.74, 14.05$\pm$1.29 and shearing force was 2745.2g. Contents of tannin and dietary fiber were 100.9 mg%, 24.0% (freeze drying base). The minerals identified in chamnamul were Ca 7.85 g/kg, K 76.31 g/kg, Mg 4.78g/kg, Fe 0.35g/kg, Na 2.35 g/kg. Chamnamul kimchi was packed in polyethylene film (200g) and fermented at 2$0^{\circ}C$ and 4$^{\circ}C$. In color changes kimchi fermented at 2$0^{\circ}C$ showed more increase in Hunter L, a, b values than kimchi fermented at 4$^{\circ}C$. The pH of kimchi decreased and acidity increased with storage time at both temperature. Ascorbic acid contents decreased sharply with storage time. Loss of ascorbic acid contents was about 81.9% in kimchi fermented at 2$0^{\circ}C$ after 5 days, and kimchi fermented 4$^{\circ}C$ lost 77.3% of ascorbic acid after 30 days. Also reducing sugar contents decreased with storage time at 2$0^{\circ}C$ and 4$^{\circ}C$. The results of sensory evaluation showed that optimum ripening time of chamnamul kimchi was 1~3 days at 2$0^{\circ}C$ and more than 20 days at 4$^{\circ}C$.>.
Ultraviolet (UV) radiation is associated with the development of extrinsic skin aging. We performed in vivo assays in order to investigate the protective effect of a combination of grapefruit and rosemary extracts (cG&Re) on UVB-induced skin aging. The results indicated that cG&Re displayed elastase inhibitory activity in a dose-dependent manner. Topical application of cG&Re mitigated photo-aging related lesions such as skin erythema and thickening in photo-aged BALB/c mice dorsal skin, by preventing UVB-induced collagen degradation. Immunohistochemical analyses revealed that cG&Re stimulated SIRT-1 expression, and suppressed MMP-1 and $IL-1{\beta}$ expression. It was observed that expression of MMP-1 and -13 mRNA was downregulated in the cG&Re-treated group. Furthermore, cG&Re treatment drastically suppressed protein expression of MMP-1 and regulated the phosphorylation of p-38 kinase. As expected, oral administration of cG&Re resulted in the same SIRT-1, MMP-1, and $IL-1{\beta}$ expression patterns observed upon topical application of cG&Re in the UV-induced mice model. Overall, the current results demonstrated that cG&Re attenuated both the downregulation of MMP-1 expression and up-regulation of SIRT-1 expression, as well as decreased phosphorylation of MAPK in UVB-induced skin ageing mice model, suggesting that cG&Re might be used as an internal food ingredient for beauty-purposes as well as a functional food material.
Anti-oxidative activities of Heracleum moellendorffii Hance extracts were measured after extraction with 50% (v/v) ethanol or water (at $80^{\circ}C$ or $20^{\circ}C$). The total polyphenol content was highest (64.73 mg GAE/g) in extract from 50% ethanol extraction at $80^{\circ}C$. In extracts obtained by water extraction at $80^{\circ}C$ and $20^{\circ}C$, the total polyphenol contents were 39.78 mg GAE/g and 23.17 mg GAE/g, respectively. The antioxidant activities of the ethanol extract at $80^{\circ}C$ were highest, as assessed by DPPH radical scavenging activity (69.14% at 50 ppm), reducing power (OD 0.93), and $ABTS^+$ radical-scavenging activity (85.62% at 1,000 ppm). At $80^{\circ}C$, the antioxidant activity of the 50% (v/v) ethanol extract was 8-20% higher than that of the water extract. Also, the chemical composition of extract from ethanol extraction at $80^{\circ}C$ was analyzed. The levels of moisture, crude protein, crude fat, and crude ash were 6.38%, 4.35%, 0.67%, and 1.96%, (all w/w), respectively. The Na, K, Mg, Zn, Fe, Ca, and P contents of the extract were 53.41, 398.26, 5.80, 0.40, 5.27, 3.56, and 47.17 mg/100 g, respectively. The total levels of polyphenolic compounds and flavonoids in the ethanol extract were 64.73 mg GAE/g and 49.54 mg RE/g.
In this paper, we introduced the notions of ∗ - g-fusion frame and ∗ - K - g-fusion frame in Hilbert C*-modules, we gives some properties and study the tensor product of ∗ - g-fusion frame. Non-trivial examples are further provided to support the hypotheses of our results.

The primary and secondary structures of Xanthomonas palargonii 5S rRNA were determined. The higher order structure of the 5S rRNA was also analysed using several ribonucleases and chemical probes, such as ethylnitrourea, Pb2+, dimethylsulfate and diethyl pyrocarbonate. Ethylnitrourea was used for probing the phosphate groups involved in the tertiary interactions in the 5S rRNA. Nucleotides G72, A73, G75, A78, G98, G100 and A101 in unstable helical region d, nucleotides C36, C37, A39, and C41 in loop c, nucleotides A29 and G33 in stem C became resistant to ethylnitrourea modification in the presence of Mg2+. On the basis of findings from chemical and enzymatic studies, and also Pb2+-induced cleavages, it was concluded that region b-C and unstable helical region d may act as hinges in the folding of 5S rRNA.

An improved method for the preparation of g-$C_3N_4$ is described. Currently, heating (> $400^{\circ}C$) of urea is the common method used for preparing the g-$C_3N_4$. We have found that sonication of melamine in $HNO_3$ solution, followed by washing with anhydrous ethanol, not only reduce the crystallite size of g-$C_3N_4$ but also facilitate intriguing electronic structure and photoluminescence (PL) properties. Moreover, loading of metal (Pt and Ag) nanoparticles, by applying the borohydride reduction method, has resulted in multicolor-emission from g-$C_3N_4$. With the help of PL spectra and local electronic structure study, at C K-edge, N K-edge, Pt L-edge and Ag K-edge by X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), a precise mechanism of tunable luminescence is established. The PL mechanism ascribes the amendments in the transitions, via defect and/or metal states assimilation, between the ${\pi}^*$ states of tris-triazine ring of g-$C_3N_4$ and lone pair states of nitride. It is evidenced that interaction between the C/N 2p and metal 4d/5d orbitals of Ag/Pt has manifested a net detraction in the ${\delta}^*{\rightarrow}LP$ transitions and enhancement in the ${\pi}^*{\rightarrow}LP$ and ${\pi}^*{\rightarrow}{\pi}$ transitions, leading to broad PL spectra from g-$C_3N_4$ organic semiconductor compound.
The mitotic cycle duration and component plase periods of rice (Oryza sativa L. 'Sumjinbyeo and Seokwangbyeo') root merisem cells at 15, 20, and 30$^{\circ}C$ were determined the use of tritiated thymidine, In this work, the time interval between the maxima of sequential mitotic appearances of marked cells was used to estimate the mitotic cycle duration (MCD) of rice, The MCD of rice of the cultivar 'Sumjinbyeo' and 'Seokwangbyeo' at 20. and 30$^{\circ}C$ was 12. and 20hr, respectively. But the MCD of 'Sumjinbyeo' and 'Seokwangbyeo' was 18 and 20hr, at 15$^{\circ}C$. respectively. The MCD decreased with increasing temperature, The duration of component phase of rice cultivar 'Seokwangbyeo' were essentially the same ratio at 20$^{\circ}C$ and 30$^{\circ}C$. but in 'Sumjinbyeo' cultivar the ratio of $G_1$ period was almost doubled while those of $G_2$ and M were decreased by almost two times at 20$^{\circ}C$ and 30$^{\circ}C$. Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). Ribonucleic acid (RNA), and protein synthesis were reduced with increasing temperature from 15$^{\circ}C$ to 30$^{\circ}C$ while the MCD was decreased, This result suggest that DNA, RNA and protein synthesis may not affect the MCD from 15$^{\circ}C$ to 30$^{\circ}C$ in rice.
