  • This paper reviews the developmental plan of industry in the industrial present condition of Korean Assistive Technology (Rehabilitation Engineering). A Study of the juveniles' Psychological Distance to Their Parents and Related Variables (청소년들의 부모에 대한 심리적 거리 및 관련 변인에 관한 연구 - 부산 지방을 중심으로 -)

  • This study was devised to investigate the juveniles' psychological distance to their parents and related variables. 456 respondents, consisted of 116 middle school boys, 101 high school boys, 114 middle school girls and 125 high school girls, were sampled. The psychological distance was measured by the semantic differential method, and the statistical data were verified by the analysis of variance through computer system. The main results are found as follows. 1. The average mark of the juveniles' psychological distance to their parents was 54.73(78.19%)/70(100%) and the mark of high school girls was highest and high school boys lowest. 2. The variables influencing on the juveniles' psychological distance to their parents were varied buy the groups. 1) Middle school boys; home atmosphere(p<.001), social and economical status of home (S.E.S; p<.01), number of intimate friends(p<.05), rearing attitudes of parents(p<.05). 2) High school boys; home atmosphere(p<.001), age of father(p<.05), protection of mother(p<.05) 3) Middle school girls; home atmosphere(p<.001), rearing attitudes of parents (p<.001), S.E.S of home(p<.001).

  • The goal of this study is to investigate the consumers'shopping orientation among those who have experience in buying imported clothing and those who have no experience in buying imported foreign clothes, types of clothing they buy (planned purchase, non-planned purchase, impulsive purchasing), purchase behavior, and demographic characteristics. The data were obtained from questionnaires completed by 400 women in the Daegu area whose age was 20 years and older. The SPSS package was used for data analysis which includes a test of reliability, frequency, percentage, factor analysis, t-test, and $\chi$$^2$ test. There were significant differences in clothing shopping orientation, impulsive purchasing, use of information sources, store selection standards between groups who had experience of buying imported clothing and had no experience of it. Also, there were significant differences in education levels, income Levels, marital status between two groups.

Add to Cart or Buy It Now? Factors Influencing the Usage Intention of Online Shopping Cart

  • This study examines the reason why consumers try to use the online shopping cart more, and especially analyzes the influence of personal psychological factor such as regulatory focus. Hypotheses are tested with a two-way ANOVA model using experimental data collected from 210 undergraduate students at a business school in South Korea. We found that prevention focused consumers try to use online shopping cart more than promotion focused consumers. It is possible that prevention focused consumers try to consider as many alternatives as possible to ensure safety as they focus on negative results or losses during shopping online. However, we also found out when the buying purpose is utilitarian, promotion focused consumers are not different from the promotion in terms of the usage intention of online shopping carts. Marketing managers can provide different messages customized for their consumers by leading them to use the online shopping cart in a more effective way.

  • Dematerialization of consumption is in a rapid process, in relation to the flood of information. Consumers do not want to buy a material goods any more, in the condition of excessive supply. In the past industrial society with massive production and consumption, only the unified consumers were produced. In informational society, goods are not regarded as a simple material, but as an Intelligence Merchandise. Specialty shops for life articles should reflect these consumer's trend and should keep the value of brand and goods. Visual Merchandising strategy which connect the expectation of consumers and company images, should be considered as a communication tools, and be presented in diverse and specified ways.

  • The brand power is getting more important in apartment market so that consumers are accustomed to ask first what the apartment brand is when they are considering to buy an apartment. Even so the brand name is the first factor which approaches to the consumer, message and image can be delivered to customers by visual factors. Since visual image can be effective to remind of customers brand image, construction business company should make portfolio to synthesize brand Image actively. This research investigate images of consistency in extenor and interior design according to the apartments brand. Used lexical meaning of the adjective used to discern standard to extract images, selected survey, and evaluated by step 1 to 5 using semantic differential method, SD. The collected cases are analyzed by using statistics software SPSS for windows release 11.0. This research provides conveyance of the vision image which fits to the brand Image and further design direction.

This operation appliance could display size of fixed current. This developed product could microscopic operation fewer than 1 [mm]. This development technology is considered by do metallic surface heat treatment, melting, welding, induction heating device and that can apply to domestic animals surgical operation and so on.

  • Writing naked put options is a strategy employed either as a speculation to capture premium income, or as a method of placing a limit order to buy the underlying at the strike price in return for premium received. Using a Monte Carlo simulation, twenty thousand equity prices are generated under known volatility and return parameters. A binomial tree is constructed using the same volatility and return parameters. Put options on these 'equities' are valued with the binomial methodology. The performance of various put writing strategies is evaluated on a risk-adjusted basis. Evidence presented suggests that the judicious use of put options may enhance returns during portfolio construction.

  • We propose a new supply chain planning methodology for both a manufacturer and a distributor in order to find a global supply chain plan for functional product markets. Functional products as opposed to innovative products include the staples that people buy regularly from their nearby places to satisfy basic needs. In the functional product market, the distributor has an initiative of supply chain control and planning with a freedom to request any profit maximizing order quantities until the manufacturer refuses, whereas the manufacturer may not provide more than requested. In this paper, two independent agents on behalf of the manufacturer and the distributor are introduced, and supply chain planning can be conducted by collaboration between them. In addition, mathematical models and a numerical example are presented to show the possibility of the proposed methodology.
