E-commerce in Korea has grown steadily in recent years. E-commerce has provided firms with an effective method to approach potential customers by overcoming geographical and physical barriers. However, despite the rapid growth, many e-commerce businesses closed their businesses and were not able to survive. This study aims to empirically examine the factors that determine the survival of e-commerce businesses in Korea. In particular, this study focuses on the factors related to the notion of institution-based trust that includes delivery, privacy, and security management. This research used the data set about 31,295 e-commerce businesses that have been registered in Seoul. We found that the e-commerce business that does not require extra personal information beyond the standard terms and conditions or provides a feedback mechanism by having an online board to submit a complaint has a higher chance of survival. In addition, the e-commerce business that has a secured web server, shows the specific information about the date of delivery, or provides escrow services is likely to survive longer than others. The research has extended the extant literature on the importance of trust in e-commerce by empirically examining the effects of the institution-based trust factors on the actual survival of e-commerce businesses.

The small & micro business has the characteristics of both consumer credit risk and business credit risk. In predicting the bankruptcy for small-micro businesses, the problem is that in most cases, the financial data for evaluating business credit risks of small & micro businesses are not available. To alleviate such problem, we propose a bankruptcy prediction mechanism using the credit card sales information available, because most small businesses are member store of some credit card issuers, which is the main purpose of this study. In order to perform this study, we derive some variables and analyze the relationship between good and bad signs. We employ the new statistical learning technique, support vector machines (SVM) as a classifier. We use grid search technique to find out better parameter for SVM. The experimental result shows that credit card sales information could be a good substitute for the financial data for evaluating business credit risk in predicting the bankruptcy for small-micro businesses. In addition, we also find out that SVM performs best, when compared with other classifiers such as neural networks, CART, C5.0 multivariate discriminant analysis (MDA), and logistic regression.

Recently, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been emerging as a technology that has transformed and revolutionized various industries around the world. In recent years, businesses in Vietnam have also started to embrace AI applications to enhance their operations and gain a competitive edge in the market. As AI technologies continue to evolve rapidly, their impact on Vietnamese businesses is becoming increasingly profound. As artificial intelligence continues to progress across various fields, the need to democratize AI technology becomes increasingly clear. In a rapidly growing market like Vietnam, leveraging AI offers significant opportunities for businesses to improve operational efficiency, customer engagement, and overall competitiveness. However, significant barriers to AI adoption in Vietnam are the scarcity of skilled developers and the high cost of implementing traditional AI. No-code/low-code platforms offer an innovative solution that can accelerate AI adoption by making these technologies accessible to a wider audience. This article analyzes and understands the benefits of no-code/low-code solutions and proposes a roadmap for implementing no-code/low-code solutions in promoting AI applications in Vietnamese businesses.

In this paper, it is indicated that, currently, foundation of small and medium businesses is generally increasing in number, but the establishment of manufacturing companies is very slow. This is because of many factors interfering with promotion of the opening of small and medium businesses such as endless bakruptcies of the businesses and uncertain perspective. Therefore, it will be expected to encourage people to start business and activate establishment of small and medium sized manufacturing companies by improving tax support systems and providing tax support information services for founed companies and foundation supporting companies.

The key aim of this research is to address the relationship between adoption level of e-commerce usage and performance based on Balanced scorecard perspectives. In order to identify the e-commerce adoption characteristics of small businesses, we carried out principal component analysis and cluster analysis by means of a survey with interview. The association of the e-commerce adoption level currently reached by a small businesses with internal process, learning/growth, customer perspectives performance is investigated and discussed.

The venture businesses deal with various kinds of hazard factors, that is, substances, processes and techniques, which have not been investigated. Nevertheless, the safety management systems of venture businesses are not systematic until now. And also it is very difficult to find out the cases of foreign advanced countries. In this study a questionnaire which investigate the present states of safety management system, have been excuted for 358 venture businesses. As a result, the present states of safety management system of venture business are assessmented, and the supporting direction of the safety management for venture business is proposed.

There are several stage in corporate's life cycle such as foundation, growth, maturity or bankruptcy. A bankruptcy is very important for corporate in the life cycle. Especially, venture business' life cycle is short compare to other type of corporate. A lot of venture businesses have emerged and bankrupted soon in the market. Venture businesses' survival or bankruptcy have been influenced by not only external environment like the rate of exchange, oil price, and foreign exchange crisis but also internal environment such as efficiency, process, human resources, finance and CEO. In this paper, we attempt to examine financial factors and efficiency that influence on the venture businesses' survival and bankruptcy. The more venture businesses have high efficiency score, the more they have high probability of survival.

이 논문은 사이버공간에서 비즈니스를 시작하고 확장해가는 과정을 로드맵으로 제안하였다. 사이버 비즈니스가 성공하기 위해서는 사이버공간의 특성, 비즈니스의 특성 그리고 사업자 자신의 상황이 조화롭게 통합되어야 하는데, 그 통합 과정을 로드맵으로 함축시켰다. 제안하는 로드맵은 사이버공간의 특성에 대한 이해의 점진적 확장과 더불어 사이버 비즈니스를 점진적으로 확장해 가는 방법을 지향하고 있다.

Web businesses are one of the most dynamic industries where lots of new business models are emerging while the other obsoleted ones are fading away almost every day. It is, therefore, difficult to establish a classification scheme for ever-changing web businesses. Previous researches on business models focus on classifying web businesses in one dimension which made some web sites difficult to fit into one category. We propose two dimensional classification scheme based on the means and the sources of revenue. The two dimensional classification provides more clear and broad perspectives of the web businesses and ways to identify web sites in combinations of several business models.

현재 각종 PC 및 정보시스템의 발전으로 인하여 인터넷이 급속도로 확산되고 있으며 이러한 인터넷 사용 증가에 따른 악성코드의 위협이 심각하게 나타나고 있다. 특히 보안인력 및 투자가 부족한 중소기업은 중요서버 및 내부 PC 대상으로 악성코드에 감염되었더라도 확인 및 조치가 불가능한 실정이다. 중소기업에서 실시하고 있는 중앙 집중형 방식의 보안관제형 악성코드탐지서비스를 분석하고 대응방안을 제시한다.
